Steak and Shake is the best drunk food ever... Plus they are pretty consistant. Coming from the midwest, we don't have steak and shakes.. Which really sucks. Obviously, you have to try one of the steak burgers. Plus whether it is hot or cold outside, you have to get some of their chili. The fries are kind of an acquired taste. They are very shoestring like and are easier to eat with a fork than with you hands. It will run you about $10 a person for everything, depending on how drunk you are.

The hubs and I were going for quick & decent. We should have kept on driving. I ordered a double steak burger with ketchup, mustard & pickles. The hubs ordered a couple of Chicago dogs. How is it possible to screw up ketchup, mustard & pickle on a burger? It was completely loaded. Of course I didn't find this out until I got home. When I called and explained the problem with my burger I was told, "Yeah, that happens all the time" I said "Good to know. I won't be back, ever" By the way, the Chicago dog is supposed to be on a poppy seed bun NOT a plain one. The only positive was the girl working the drive thru window. She was nice, friendly and on point.

I would give this no stars, went there with friends and had to wait 20 min for drink order and then another 30 to have food order placed, order took 20 minutes. When asking for refills the waiter acknowledged but did not bring them and had to go ask for check, also ordered a shake and waited for 30 min for the shake and another 10 to cash out, when another patron asked for the manager she came out with an attitude and no apologies. Decided against the rules and went back 2 days later, same manager tried to strike up the conversation with her and got a "oh" and when our group had our ticket split up, my portion was $14 told her that was incorrect and I said the 3.99 triple cheese burger and a coke is not $14. Once overcharged the manager refuse to correct the issue and had to go to my bank.

Upon arrival we were immediately greeted, offered a seat and asked for our drink order. Many $4meal options. Specialty shakes $3.50. Waitress was great. Manager came to table to say hello. Food served in an okay time. Food delicious-basic burgers and fries-fresh, hot and filling. 100% beef-nor fillers or preservatives. Shakes amazingly large-didnt finish mine. Clean facility

This location is the worst. Went there 2 days ago and ordered using a coupon at drive thru, was told I had to go in to use coupon. Tonight went there for a shake...... they are OUT of shakes....sure ok, it's not like it's in your name or anything. ...I will never go to this location again.

The absolute worst service. It was really busy and the staff is not well trained and not enough of them. Our server was too busy telling others what to do. Didn't get our drinks until the food was gone and ready to pay the bill.

Service and food leaves a lot to be desired at this location.. Slow to get waited on and not enough servers. Milkshakes were not cold enough, more like sweet milk. We will wait a long time before going back to this location.

Horrible meals tonight. Managers have changed..food is not prepared to order...Choc. Shake tasted like metal. We,our family, use to go to this location about 3 times per month. Tonights meal was horrible. Order was not prepared to order and the choc milk shake tasted like metal. We left it on the table and it was in a TOGO container. When we checked out, my husband told them that it tasted like metal. The guy in the purple shirt ignored him. We will not be back there anytime doon. Date and time 5-5-2014 6:30pm

just an "okay" restaurant in this chain. Thick chocolate shakes, if thick is more important than chocolatey. humdrum burgers. Their chili on top of spaghetti "3 way" is a tasty sensation. This is a scary location after dark--best to use the drive and keep the doors locked! Awkward parking lot. I use this one for drive-thru only.
