This is the best Chinese buffet I've ever eaten. It's always busy, so the food is always fresh. Although lots of people go straight for (and fight over... I have seen it) the crab legs, their wide variety of dishes offers something for everyone. From popular Chinese dishes, like Mongolian Beef and General Tso's chicken, to french fries, prime beef roast, oysters, fruit and salad bar, Hibachi grill.. and my absolute favorite... their very fresh sushi! OMG.. their sushi is so good. If you can actually get a physical reaction to food.. I get it here. My pupils turn black, my mouth starts to water... all over one bite of sushi. They make it fresh all day long, and it looks beautiful. You can wake me up for this sushi any time! Sure, it's a buffet. And sure, people are stuffing themselves like crazy. But for a buffet it has a pretty good atmosphere, it's clean, service is friendly and swift. A winner for me!

WEAK! Was in here for a lunch with coworkers. Next to me was a HUGE guy. We'll just call him "tons of fun". "Tons" is scarfing down plate after plate of greasy lo mien, cool to the touch S&S Pork, and chicken nuggets. This place is expensive too. Pass.

We always enjoy eating at Lings, the food is always fresh and tasty, but last night we went there for dinner and as usual the place was very busy, I asked for a refill of my sweet tea and the young man took my glass, went and got me a refill I noticed when he brought it back that the glass was only bout half full, I thought well maybe it was the last of the batch and they're making more, so I took a drink and it had a strong taste of lemon, here's the kicker. I don't drink tea with lemon! He brought me someone else's glass of tea! Thankfully we were through eating and were about to leave. This is exactly why I HATE it when a server takes my glass to refill my glass! BRING THE TEA TO ME DON'T TAKE MY GLASS! Will this keep me from going back to Lings? Probably...

Since we are new in town, we were on a quest to find a tasty Chinese restaurant. I believe in the old saying, "If the food is good, the line is long." The parking lot at Ling's is always very full! Given my theory, we tried Ling's on a Monday night. Ling's offers a VERY wide variety of food - from sweet and sour chicken to french fries, from Honeydew Melon to Sushi - it's an over eater's paradise. The food itself was ok. Some dishes were far better than others, but there's certainly something for even the pickiest of eaters on the food lines. I thought the employees did a great job of keeping the food stations neat and clean; however, it seemed that they were not very quick to replace food when it had run out. The building and the entry way to Ling's is very inviting. The service brought no complaints. If you don't have very high expectations or are hungrier than you've ever been before, I would recommend Ling's.

Though made beautiful on the outside, there is little to praise here. The odor of bad fish fills your nostrils upon entering and scares you from the many shrimp and fish dishes. Service is swift. There were some Spicey selections. Variety is tremendous but the food is all luke cool. The view of 300 pound people gorging themselves was sickening. The sushi was soggy and limp tasting. (They did have inarizushi "rice pillows", typically $2 each in sushi restaurants). Nice fruit bar, including lychees. Korean Kimchee on the salad bar. American options like prime rib, ham, pizza, pudding. A $12 all-you-can-eat price tag is steep considering one is full on a $6 combination platter in a typical Chinese restaurant. I won't have any need to return.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
