Have had decent cubans and sandwiches from here in the past, but today the customer service was inexcusable. Lunchtime is very busy for this place and clearly they need to hire another person to help the rush. We were rushed to place our order, pay and then told to pull over to park (probably because we asked for pressed sandwiches). They said they would run them out to us, but we had to walk inside to pick up our sandwiches that were just sitting on the counter, waiting. My mom told the lady she wasn't returning because her customer service sucks. I agree, the lady could at least be nice or thankful you're giving them business!! She treated us like we were a problem giving her business! NOT okay if you want to keep your business open. This is a mom & pop shop that absolutely cuts corners and just wants your money. I won't be going back. Do yourself a favor and go up the road to Elenas or something for a good cuban with nicer service.

I hadn't eaten here in a very long time, but happened to be driving past it at lunchtime, and I was hungry, and a cuban sandwich sounded good. I ordered a pressed cuban and a pint of spanish bean soup. Both were not good. I couldn't taste any pork in the sandwich, so I opened it up and looked, and found tiny piece in between a couple slices of what looked and tasted like pre-packaged grocery store ham. They also put lettuce and tomato on their cubans. Who would do that? The lettuce had brown soft spots all over it. The cheese also tasted like cheap house brand grocery store cheese. The tomatoes and bread were fine, but the meat, cheese, and lettuce were inexcusably bad. The soup was almost flavorless, except for a vague chemically taste, sort of like canned soup. The vegetables in the soup were mush, and the couple tiny pieces of chicken reminded me of the tiny square pieces of chicken in your typical cheap canned soup. It's possible that they cut up their chicken that way, but I've never had spanish bean soup anywhere that had those tiny bits of chicken cut with machine like precision and size. The woman who took my order was surly, and appeared to be glaring at me every time we spoke. I was the only customer in the tiny place, and she did not greet me. When I asked about pressing the sandwich her reply was impolite and irritated. She never said thank you or your welcome or anything, even when I made an extra effort to smile and thank her. While I waited on my one sandwich and a pint of soup, three cars drove up, ordered, received their orders, and drove off. It took so long to get one sandwich and a styrofoam container of soup that I was beginning to wonder if my order ticket had fallen behind the table. The food was bad, the wait was too long, and tyne service was very bad.

Small 20x20 red/white "drive-thru" shack (one table inside) famous for its lunch time sandwiches. Only open til 3. Grab 'n go Cubans (I like their roast beef, cheese, hot peppers.) You can also get black beans & rice, flan. 8 inch and 10 inch subs. Reasonably priced. Memorable. No muss, no fuss

I've been eating at this tiny sandwich shop for years via their drive thru. Cuban sandwiches are good, but not the best I've ever had. HOWEVER, the last few times that I've gotten a cuban from them there has been a black HAIR in it!!!! GROSS. It's either baked into the bread or as in today's case stuck to the ham. That was their last chance with me.

I don't really understand the drive thru but the sandwich kicked ass!

Yeah, don't bother. Got three Cubans. Pre-packaged sandwich meat, and not even much of it, NO roasted pork. Waste of time and money. Going to make myself a sandwich from my own kitchen...because I'm still hungry!
