This Starbucks is brand new. The decor is spot on and there are a lot of cool interactive features that help to remind you that you're on Disney property. Even on crazy busy weekends, the line moves quickly and efficiently. The employees are knowledgable and friendly. Make sure to check out the little outside patio area... They have a cool grass art work piece and a fire for cold nights. Great place to sit back and relax from all the disney craziness.
This was most beautiful Starbucks location ever seen before. I haven't seen this kind of beautiful one in NYC even. Very fast and clean place. Also they got touch screen which is more interesting you can draw and it appears other one too.
Crazy mirror thing on the wall which follows you around! Largest Starbucks I've ever seen. Fast moving line, all the way at the end of Downtown Disney. As always you know what your going to get, fast service (usually) strong coffee and cool baristas to chat it up with. GET SOME. This is Starbucks, no long review neccesary.

La Cava del Tequila

Mexican Pavilion,1200 Epcot Resort Blvd
Lake Buena Vista, 32830
Reviews:
This is Epcot's best/worst kept secret. We rarely make it "around the world" when Mexico is our first stop. It's a great escape from the park to cool off in this small corner bar. Their margaritas and sangria although pricey are spot on. One is normally enough. (Then again when is one ever enough? More tequila please!) Their queso, salsa and guac is the best. You're only shorting yourself if you don't get all three. The only reason this is short of a five star is the lines you have to wait during peak season. Which of course not their fault.
One of my favorite hidden gems in Disney! Located in the Mexico pavilion in World Showcase, La Cava del Tequila is totally worth stopping in. We usually duck into Mexico to escape either the rain or the heat, and this refreshing spot does the trick. There's a very long list of tequilas to choose from - the best way to approach this is to get a flight. On my first visit a few years ago when they first opened, they had a deal for a free flight if you followed them on Twitter. Don't think that's necessary anymore since they have a huge following now! There's also a great selection of margaritas - some that you would never think of! Our favorites are the avocado margarita (sounds odd, looks odd, tastes amazing!) and the coffee mezcal margarita - both frozen. Perfect for a super hot, humid July afternoon! We also liked the pineapple and classic margaritas as well. We've never eaten here, but they have a selection of small plates - mainly chips and dips. If you haven't yet found this little hole in the wall - go looking!
Forget the Margarita stand outside! They may look fun, but they're pre-made out of the machine and nowhere near as good. Definitely go inside the Pavilion and check out the Tequila Bar. It is pretty small, but there are some tables inside; even if the bar looks packed, there may still be some room. Great place for an afternoon drink and snack. The Avocado Margarita is actually sweet and refreshing, it's worth a try. They have a huge selection.

So freakin good! I know i know, its just fish and chips, but holy crap that was good! A must-eat in Disneyworld and will absolutely visit again on our next trip to Epcot.
All these positive reviews are for real. The fish and chips are great. Don't skip them even if there is a line. Look for the tables to the right of the tiny food spot. This is a great spot to save money at Epcot. Eat your big meal at lunch at one of the expensive Epcot restaurants and save 30% on the food. Much of the dinner menu will be the same at a higher price. Have dinner at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop.
My in laws are British and they ate with us. Father in law was very pleased with the quality and price, said it was the best deal in the park. I was also told the fish comes from Epcot's own fish farm (not verified). Either way, fast and good meal.

Jiko - The Cooking Place

Best restaurant at Disney! Don't be afraid of the African food. It is awesome! Favorite things tamale, filet, braised short ribs, cherry kissed martini, any of the syrah selections, paper wrapped fish, and the pistachio creme brulee with a press pot for desert! Also, this is one of the few restaurants in Disney that has a romantic atmoshpere. Yes I take my kids, but when I go with just my husband I am happy too. The restaurant has lots of warm woods and is more darkely lit. It has 2 tops by the wall to wall window with a nice view of a babbling Disney brook.
Jiko was the first of three 'signature dining' reservations we had during our six day stay at Disney World and it did not disappoint! I'm sure you can walk in without reservations during the low season but be sure to make them during the 'free dining' season, tables go fast! BTW, they do have a dress code but it does not seem to be strictly enforced. I came in with a sundress and cardigan and the BF wore a v-neck and plaid shorts. The BF was a bit worried when I mentioned that the food was African/Indian/Mediterranean inspired but he ended up loving it! For appetizers we got the seasonal sweet corn bisque and curried beef rolls. I loved my bisque, not too sweet and perfectly balanced with lump crab and crunchy bits of celery. Best soap I ever had! I'm drooling just thinking about it now, hah. The beef rolls looked like tiny eggrolls served with a slaw that was quite delicious together. The BF ended up eating everything which was interesting cause he usually hates slaw. We got the oak-grilled filet mignon and the seared barbered duck breast entrees, both were delicious. The filet was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. I really enjoyed the mac and cheese which was rich, not too saucy and worked well with the filet and wine sauce. BF said the duck was the best he ever had and ate up the whole plate. Desserts were ok, I got the celebration special which was an apricot sorbet and cake and the BF got the spiced cake. Both weren't memorable like the other 'signature' restaurant desserts. Overall the restaurant was great; exotic flavors, delicious, intimate ambiance, and great service. Our server Michelle was wonderful, very nice and helpful. She informed us of the popular and personal favorites on the menu. Jiko also has a great selection of South African wines and the servers are extremely helpful in helping you finding a pairing with your dinner. I loved this place and definitely coming back and highly recommend it!
Absolutely my most favorite Restaurant in all of Disney...The food is amazing and the atmosphere is extremely enjoyable. The staff is amazing. The South African wines are delicious. Highly recommend the Tastes of Africa Appetizer.

Amazing! We had the Napoleon and the Duo de Chocolate which was a cool creamy combo of white and dark chocolate cake covered with a chocolate shell. Yum yum goodness!!!
This little kiosk at the France Pavilion inside Epcot specializes in two of the most amazing adult beverages: Grand Marnier & Grey Goose Orange Slush and Grey Goose Citrin Lemonade Slush. They are both equally fabulous! The question is are you in the mood for orange or lemonade flavor? They come served in a nicely sized plastic martini glass and depending on the time of year, I've seen the cost at $8, $9, and $10 dollars. This is the place I head when I want my favorite adult beverage Disney has to offer! Even during the off-season, the line can get pretty long here; but, the slush is well worth the wait! They also offer an assortment of wines, champagne and beer, but you can get those anywhere. Go for one of the slushes!! The kiosk with the chocolate crepes is right next to this one and I suggest you grab one of those as well. Then sit down at one of the outdoor tables and enjoy!!
SO GOOD! The home of one of the most amazing ice drinks man ever created: "The" Grand Marnier slushi !!! I think the name of this place might be for the wine store in France too but this review is specifically just for the kiosk across the way. Seriously, this is my GO TO spot when I hit up Epcot. There are two slushies here, Grand Marnier and a Grey Goose Lemon. Both are pretty dang good but the Grand Marnier is just unbeatable in my eyes. It literally tastes like an orange creamsicle melted. They come in plastic martini glasses and they melt pretty fast but I drink mine so fast it's not usually a problem. I would really just love one of these dispensers in my kitchen, I would probably bathe in it though. I do have to comment on the price. It does fluctuate and I have seen then up to $11 but I still pay for them cause it's just sooooo delicious!!!! Amy S is so right on point, let's go get some Amy!!!!

Yumm....chhocolate... and what's better than chocolate, FREE chocolate! and just as good as chocolate? ICE CREAM! So before going into the dining parlor side, we HAD to go into the store where we were greeted with a free sample of the peppermint bark. I look forward to the winter holiday season just for this chocolate! I got the dark chocolate sundae-Chocolate Mint. It came with a scoop of chocolate, scoop of mint chocolate, layered with dark chocolate hot fudge syrup and topped with whipped cream and a dark chocolate square. I didn't really read the description well so I thought it was both scoops of mint chocolate. And then, while I was eating it, I realized how much fudge was in the cup so I didn't really enjoy that too much. Still, I always enjoy the yummy-ness of the chocolate and a must visit whenever I'm in Down Town Disney. #Yelp 365 Challenge - 119/365
Oh life is too short for the exquisite tortures of Downtown Disney. Middle of the week in October and parking was a nightmare. I'd rather put a pencil in my eye... Went to the Ghirardelli store. LOVE the original in San Fran. This is like going to the SF version's closet with folks trying to exit the Titanic. The crowds were enough to make me confess anything. Wanted to go to the soda fountain, but gave up. Then went to the side just selling chocolate. I guess my competitive urges got the best of me. In reality, I could have just saved time, money, and blood pressure by going to a corner pharmacy chain to get the same thing.
Oh my chocolate!! You can smell the cones from yards away and you can even see the line from yards away. This place is exactly what you expect it to be: amazing chocolates and ice cream. We got the Espresso Escape which was amazingly sweet. Too decadent for one person but perfect for 2-3 to share. Worth the calories if you're willing to gain them!

My family had dinner here on 5/12 at 5pm. The good points about the experience were that: 1. We were able to make reservations at the last minute as they had numerous tables open when they opened for dinner at 5pm. 2. The service was good. Our drinks were refilled multiple times and the food had good flavor and was served promptly. The lesser points about the experience were that: 1. Since they were so open they were taking people at 5pm who had reservations for 5:30, 5:40 and later so that when we were leaving the entire waiting area was now full of people who had 6:00-7:00 reservations who could not be seated because in essence their space was given away. 2. The kids menu is weak and almost nothing that was on the kids menu was actually available. Just about everything was a substitution for something else except for the dessert of worms in dirt that was very, very dry. 3. Anything meat related cam out a little cold any had to be sent back to get warmed up. If you've got no where else to go Grand Floridian Cafe is a decent alternative to a quick service Disney restaurant. Just don't expect too much.
This is the first five star restaurant I've found at DIsney World--and oh boy, I'm SO excited about finding a dining gem at Disney. As a Disney passholder, I've eaten at most of the cheap countertop restaurants in the parks. I absolutely love Disney, but I will concede that their countertop food is downright gross and the service restaurants are ridiculously overpriced (who wants to pay $27 for a mediocre lunch buffet?). The resorts offer much better dining options, and the Grand Floridan Cafe (GFC) is a fantastic choice. The GFC is nestled in the back of the Grand Floridian--which is itself spectacular. I ate lunch here with two of my friends around 2pm on Saturday. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, but I think that was because it was such a weird time and the restaurant was operating with minimal waitstaff. The restaurant has large windows overlooking the garden/pool area--this allows plenty of natural light to fill the room. The tables are neatly set with a fresh rose gracing each centerpiece. I love the fact that the menu is so simple and straightforward--just the right number of selections. There are ten entrée choices and two additional options under "Chef's Recommendations." I ordered one of the recommendations--the Grand Floridian Burger--an $18 hamburger topped with lobster, asparagus, and horseradish-chive Hollandaise, served with a tomato salad. For $18, I had very high expectations. And they were met. The burger was wonderfully unique--full of flavors superior to any other burger I've ever tried. My friend ordered the ($12) Grand Sandwich--an open-faced hot ham, turkey, bacon, and tomato with Boursin cheese sauce. When I return here, this is what I'll order. I tried a bite, and it was phenomenal. If you're on a tight budget, bypass the burger and order this sandwich! Our waitress was AWESOME! Her name was Anne. Since we were dining at a relatively slow period of the day, Anne took time to talk to us and made great suggestions. We were very thirsty after spending the morning in Animal Kingdom, and Anne did well at keeping up with refills. Two more little things--drinks and desserts. The pomegranate lemonade is fantastic; order it. And there are four desserts available at lunch. They're tiny little individual sized desserts--$2.99 for one or $9.99 for a platter of all four. Brilliant. And delicious. Thank you, Disney, for creating such a magical little cafe.
Eating at the Grand Floridian Cafe was kind of a last minute decision. We were at the Altamonte Mall and were looking for a place to have dinner to celebrate our anniversary and found it while browsing Disney restaurants. We made our reservations online and headed over. We checked in and only had to wait about 5 minutes before being seated at a window table. It was dark by that time so no real views to speak of, however if the sun were out I think we would have been able to see the pool. The cafe isn't as elegantly decorated as the rest of the hotel, which you need to walk through to get to the restaurant entrance. We decided to dine a little tipsy so I ordered a Tennessee Honey and my wife got the Black Cherry Twist. Both were a little pricey but delicious. Like most Disney restaurants, the menu is not at all vast with about 6 choices in each course. Our appetizers and entrees were hit and miss. My wife got the Carmelized Onion Soup, with a heaping portion of cheese that was fun to watch her try to eat, and the Grand Floridian Burger, which is served with a chunk of lobster on it. She loved the burger but when I tried the beef alone, it tasted pretty standard. I got the Panko Crusted Lump Crab Cake, which was tasty but certainly did not have any lumps of meat. It was shredded a la tuna salad. The Braised Lamb Shank was perfectly tender but did not have that distinguishable lamb flavor. It tasted more like a pot roast and needed some more seasoning. The lamb was served with cheese grits, which had more of a mashed potato consistency. As strange as it may sound, it was the cheese grits that made me want to try the lamb and so because the grits didn't really turn out like grits, I was disapointed in the dish. Their deserts seemed very reasonably priced but that is because they are all miniature, sample size portions. We settled on the Lemon Cheese Cake and the Boston Cream Pie. Both were very good. The kitchen seemed a bit slow but our server was very friendly, which took the edge off. We had a fine evening but we will probably try other Disney offerings before coming back here.

Prior to this, I'd only eaten at Marrakesh, that sorry excuse for Moroccan food. So, on this trip, we decided to attempt Tokyo Dining - after all, all four of us love sushi. We got in with no wait (on a Sunday around 3pm) and were seated near the sushi chefs (which was great, because it's fun to watch). Our waitress was exceedingly kind and smiley, and very attentive (without being overly so). The sushi was mediocre compared to what you get in most Boston sushi bars, but probably amazing for your average Midwesterner.
It's okay and definitely in the realm of fast food. The sushi is prepackaged and the curry wasn't the greatest but it made do for the moment.
Pricey, even by Disney standards, but the food is OH SO Good that I can't help but give it 4 stars. The grilled chicken sounds standard but it is prepared so well. My son raved about the smoked salmon roll. Service was good and we were able to watch Illuminations from the restaurant. They dimmed the lights and piped in the music.

All I have to say about the food her is amazing!! We had the porterhouse and lobster bisque . Everything was mouthwatering . This place has to be one of the best restaurants in all of Disneyworld
Yummy! This place was pretty darn good in my book. I had an 8:30pm reservation for me and my husband and were seated about 15 minutes after we checked in. The restaurant was a bit noisier than expected but probably still less noisy than the other Disney buffets. Our server was really nice and very attentive. His personality just made you smile. The bread service was yummmmmm.... The roasted garlic runs onto the bread like butter and made it taste so good. The sourdough bread was good too along with the biscuity type too. My glow-Tini was also very yummy too! Now for the food... We decided to order the porterhouse for two , cooked medium. It came with three small sides of caramelized onions, creamed spinach, sautéed mushroom and some potatoes. We also went ahead and ordered the truffle Mac and cheese. The steak was soo good! Cooked perfectly and the flavor was very good. Both me and the hubby had stuffy noses and we could still taste the flavors! Occasionally I would get a salty bite but it was only when the piece was a smaller piece and completely soaked with the melted seasoned butter. However it didn't happen to often. The caramelized onions were like eating French onion soup without the soup. Very yummy. The creamed spinach was good but nothing to rave about. The mushrooms were the same way too. The potatoes were perfectly cooked but we both got thrown off by the random purple yam potatoes that were in mix. The taste was still good though. The truffle Mac and cheese was super yummy and was deliciously creamy. We skipped on dessert only because we had ice cream earlier in the day. Overall we had a very satisfying meal here and would def recommend it. I didn't have too much trouble getting a reservation as I booked it just a few hours in advance. They do have a dress code so make sure you bring something decent to wear.
we were looking for the best steaks available at disney world! after reading various reviews we were led to the yachtsman steakhouse! we made our reservations 3 months in advance. even though there was no reservation availability there were still plenty of tables open. the staff did a great job of serving our table. our waiter did an amazing job especially in capturing the attention of our 5 and 2 year olds. the waiter made some fine recommendations too. we ordered bisque soup for appetizer and it was great! we ordered a 16 oz prime ribeye steak with a separate side of asparagus. also, new york strip steak with a side of fries and two orders of child cheese pasta. and since we were on vacation we ordered a chocolate-peanut cake in addition to my birthday dessert provided by the yachtsman steakhouse. i love steak! but my ribeye had a point reyes blue cheese butter on top and i was not thrilled about it. honestly, i would rate my ribeye about a 4 star. but everything else about the yachtsman steakhouse was 5 star. the ambiance was casual. our table did not have linen cloth and lacked in interior appeal. but i was okay with it. i did like all the wood used inside the restaurant. our family of 4 had a great time! our bill before tip was $180. i would do it again!

Just had the worst Thanksgiving experience. Beware if you make a reservation --- it means nothing. We checked in with our party on time and we're not seated until an hour after our reservation time. By the time we were seated our moods prevented us from enjoying the meal. I guess we should have checked in a hour earlier. Also - management if you are reading this - put a time limit on guests. 2 hours is more than enough time.
The service here is a little slow and they aren't great with drink refills. This restaurant was also pretty packed due to this being a character breakfast. My boys really enjoyed seeing all of the characters while they ate. The buffet was pretty good and had all of the breakfast basics from eggs, bacon, sausage, and Mickey Waffles to cold peel and eat shrimp, sliced meats and cheeses. I could take or leave this restaurant, but we really wanted to the character experience for the boys.
On a recent trip to Disney, my family and I were looking for a nice place to enjoy seafood at one of the Disney hotels. We called to make reservations and even though we arrived early we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and checked in often In regards to the food, everything I had was great. My main interest was the crab legs. Who doesn't love delicious crab legs with melted butter? It was seriously heavenly! Also had salmon, red potatoes and Caesar salad on the side. All were tasty, but not the main attraction of the buffet. The dessert area was somewhat lacking, only 3 or 4 choices . I didn't try any of them as I was so focused on those darn crab legs Overall, the environment was nice, service was good and seafood was outstanding. Great option for a Disney buffet that won't disappoint
