This place is fantastic. Best BBQ I have had in Florida. Excellent pulled pork and baked beans...and crispy French fries.

We were traveling and stumbled across this place and couldn't believe our luck! The food was wonderful and service unbelievable!!! They serve free soup of the day with each meal (and free ice cream). We were served the fish chowder and Oreo cheese cake ice cream. Great find! Highly recommended!!!

Stopped for lunch randomly while on a motorcycle ride. What a great find! I saw lots of cars in the lot during lunch so I knew it would be a stellar place before I walked in. Ordered pulled pork with bean and fries. Came with Texas toast and free cup of soup. Not a big soup person but that was great too. Pull pork was perfect. They gave me some spicy BBQ sauce to try as well. If your in town don't miss this place. You can get free ice cream but I didn't take the offer.

2nd visit today and met Glenn the owner who was offering free fish chowder while we waited. We met John the son on our 1st visit and we knew he had the hospitality gene in him. Meeting Glenn we saw where he gets it from. Upon Glenn bringing our chowder I asked if he was John's dad. He spoke with us for 15 minutes and even invited us fishing on our next visit to Islandmorada where they have a home & boat. He said sorry we are out of the dolphin as I only caught one, but he have more snapper. My wife & I catch all of the fish served here and let me tell you it would be cheaper to buy it. Where will you hear that? Not at Red Lobster or Smokey Bones! Onto the food my wife had the chicken/rib combo with fry's & beans all of which was excellent. My smoked beef cheddar melt was great with even the cheese sauce on top had the smokey taste we love! My slaw & beans were excellent as was the service. It was Mothers Day and they were busy, but the service & food were great. Having been paid for years to evaluate bars & restaurants I am telling you this is what we want & expect in the hospitality business. Friendly staff, great food, unique setting of an old log cabin in the middle of nowhere. Free soup while you wait and free ice cream for dessert, do you see that in many places? Keep Walmart & Darden I want my independents!

I have stopped here many, many times when I come to Labelle. It has been a few different names but this rendition is great! Comp soup to start with and I had a delicious smoked chicken sandwich with baked beans and cole slaw. My dining partner had the pulled pork and we both loved our meals. Our server was nice and attentive and even offered free ice cream at the end of our meal! Great job, keep up the good work y'all.

Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat at the same time. This is a wonderful local favorite. Portions are enough to fill. Yet does not empty the wallet. The place serves all 3 eating time. They do a bbq and hometown food. I was not sure what I wanted. So I ask my server. Andre I believe was her name(excellent job). Anyway she mention the owners had been fishermen in the Keys. And that she thought the scallops were the best. So we went with that. Saute. They were cooked to perfection with the right amount of garlic wine sauce. Plus they were tender and melted in the mouth.I also had the baked beans. Tasty with onions and a hint of green peppers. The homemade cole slaw was a delight. The staff has to be one of the friendliest I have every encounter. Poised helpful just great. So if in the area you must try this eatery

Note: Their online menu doesn't match the current one. Just follow the quirky Christmas lights and you'll know you're at Log Cabin. The parking lot is often packed during peak times with diners crammed patiently waiting a table. Remember, there's barely any competition in LaBelle--for BBQ OR any great mom-and-pop dining options--so this place will be a haven regardless. SOUTHERN CHARM The free cup of Soup at the beginning and cup of Ice Cream at the end is a charming touch. Although many of the servers were toothy high schoolers, they worked as a team and our glasses were never empty. There was a bit of a familial feel in the air fromf those working. BBQ NOT BAD For the price you'll feel full with the portions. My combo of Pulled Pork and Spare Ribs also came with two sides (I had Cheesy Grits and Applesauce) and buttered Toast. Not bad for less than $14. The Meat wasn't exactly meltingly soft (which I prefer) but contained a bit of chew. Luckily the cooks restrained themselves on the seasoning allowing the real flavor of the Meat to peek through. Cheesy Grits were delicious and creamy. Other dishes such as the Fish Chowder soup contained subtle, typical chowder flavor stuffed with floating bits. Baby Back Ribs fared better with Meat almost falling from the bone.

Wow Where to begin. Its saturday almost noon and we place a pick up order. Show up 15 min later its not even been started because the cook has refused to make the french fries that go with the sandwiches we ordered. Ok fine just double up the slaw. No bbq sauce in the bag, the meat is COLD and has grease stuck to it. Garlic bread which you charged extra for not even in the second sandwich. The slaw oh the slaw, once amazing now just pathetic dry cabbage in a cup. The sauce if there was any you won't get. Over all 20 bucks for 2 sandwiches made inedible without the sides ordered because at noon on Saturday you are serving breakfast but will take the phone order and handout what ever this is.

I've been going here when I visit Florida since 2011. Service is always good and the servers are all attentive. John who I believe owns the place with his dad is very friendly with his customers and always a gentleman. The food I've had is always very good. Breakfast as well as the salads and whatever I've ordered from the dinner menu. I had fish, frog legs, and shrimp last week and it was excellent. Have to say I'm not much for frog legs though. Every time I go to the Log Cabin it has many cars and bikes in the lot which also says a lot about this place. I highly recommend anybody to visit here

I stopped in for brunch. With a fellow Yelper Paul H. He suggested going North two counties about 1.25 hours to try new locations. I got a single pancake it was unique I also liked the biscuits much more than the sausage gravy. Not complaining. Just observing the gravy was very different compared to what I called southern style. Not too thin or not to thick. Just different in a good way both consistency and flavor. I was trying to figure if cheese was added for this unique flavor. The nice girls later suggested that bad things may happen if their secret got out. So I quietly left. Food: 4 Ambiance: 5 spacious log cabin style. Service: 5 quick friendly. Location: 5 easy to find, large parking lot. Value: 5 great small town fair prices. Great regular crowd of locals and tourist from the plates in the parking lot. 013/14

What an awesome place! The food was A+ and all of the staff were A++!!! If it wasn't for prior yelp reviews we may not have chose the Log Cabin. Well worth it for anyone in Labelle or passing thru. I also found out they are open for breakfast and who doesn't want a country breakfast.

Stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant during our snowbird stay. Great food and John, the owner, is so nice and pleasant. He knows how to treat customers right. You also get a free small bowl of soup and a free scoop of ice cream with every meal!! Nice touch. Good is very good. Keep up the good work.

Amazing! A must stop on any road trip. Lucky locals... I had the pulled pork sandwich that I topped with their cole slaw and spicy bbq sauce. Oh man, it was mind blowing. Southern hospitality is alive and well!

Great place to stop for a quick bite of delicious food. I was seated and had sweet tea in under a minute, and the food was great. A plus was the servers - all were nice and listening to them talk to each other was a refreshing change from the banter in many off-the-beaten-path bbq places. Will be back!

Came here bc of the other great reviews and we were not disappointed. Had the chicken and tried the baby back ribs and was impressed with both. Free small cup of fish soup was tasty as well as the cookies and cream ice cream which was complimentary as well. Glad we drove out of our way to get here, and would be back again!

I had to write another review this place was great for dinner. Even stayed open late to accommodate. I had the ribs with Mac and cheese and my friend had a smoked prime rib. Amazing service added to our great meals. You must try this place.

Great place to eat with a big menu. There's much more than just BBQ. our favorites were the corn nuggets, grits, deep fried corn on the cob, fried fish and mac n cheese. The brisket and pulled pork were excellent, too! Be sure and get there early. Very reasonably priced, too. Friendly and attentive wait staff.

AMAZING! If Not for Yelp! Would have passed a great experience. Really felt like good Bar-B-Q. Well, The Log Cabin, is not just good Bar-B-Q. IT IS, WOW, GREAT!!! Bar-B-Q. And more. Mouth watering Country Cooking. Delicious variety. From the usual Coleslaw. Moist Sweet Potato, beans.etc. we had the Homemade Banana Pudding. Family owned and Operated. We were taken care by Paige, she has great people skills. Polite, eager to please. With a smile. A red little Log Cabin, when you drive by. Inside, cozy, cheerful. Happy atmosphere. Above all, very CLEAN. Their Pulled Pork is moist, with the perfect smoked flavor. We were asked to sample a Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup, their moms recipe. It was A+ definite WINNER. Soup was FREE! Win, Win. Situation. Don't Hesitate to give these people a chance. Lots of GOOD FOOD AND GOOD COMPANY. That's Hospitality!

If you're not from the LaBelle area, this place may be off the beaten path. I can tell you that it's worth the drive on your quest for great barbecue. In Naples, I feel like the art of barbecue in a restaurant setting hasn't been the greatest of priorities; therefore, I recommend you take a trip across SR80 and meander into LaBelle. This place used to be called Log Cabin for years on in, and it shut down for a while. It now is under new and different management. We had a chance to talk to the owner and he definitely has his focus on customer service. There are two dining areas, and it would be nice to have a hosting/reception area instead of walking into someone's meal - but all in all, you experience the "log cabin" feel right from the getgo. They always have a free portion of their daily soup, which happened to be broccoli cheddar that day, and then there's always some free ice cream at the end of every meal. I have yet to veer off from their pulled pork, because it's consistently good....but I hear the ribs and fried chicken pretty amazing. We come for the corn nuggets and they automatically come with ranch dipping sauce. Their sweet tea comes in the most huge styrofoam cups and yes, you should judge your bbq restaurants on their sweet tea or if they even serve sweet tea. Come with an empty stomach, and if you can't commit to dining in, they do have a drive-thru as well.

Best BBQ, seized beef is amazing, I'll order it by the pound. Also you must try there smoky Bbq sauce. Fried okra, worth the drive from Estero!!!

Warm and welcoming! I was driving through this town for the first time and it was late (9:15pm). This appeared to be the only non-chain restaurant open at the time so I called to see how much time I had left. The girl on the phone said they normally close at 9pm but 2 groups just sat down and I was good to come in and eat. Upon entering they sat me right away and the guy said "we still have some food back there we can feed ya with" which was nice! Then they promptly gave me some soup and a mini cupcake while I read the menu! The food was good. Anything probably wouldve been good at that time and after 2 flights. But their service and warmth also won me over. To top it off, free ice cream afterwards too! I know Im not that special a person so you should be able to have the same experience! Thanks guys!

I went with David Gs recommendation of '4 cabin BBQ combo' of ribs, sliced beef, chicken and pulled pork and we weren't disappointed. Huge portion and the food tasted great. Topped it off with free ice cream. I would definitely comeback If I lived in the area.

Great local place. Excellent, friendly, attentive service. Busy place, but was served immediately and food came out quickly. Delicious pulled pork and perfect grits, plus yummy free sample of cream of broccoli soup. Definitely try this place if you're traveling in the area. It's right on Route 80. Can't miss it.

After many many years of eating at the Log Cabin, I am sorry to say I was very disappointed in my last visit. I brought a guest to treat her to our great local bbq - but so much went wrong. The meat, both pork and brisket was cold. The cole slaw (which has never been very good here) was lukewarm, the fries limp. Great waitress, friendly and fast service, but the bottom line is the food - and I'm afraid I've had my last Log Cabin supper.

The "All four cabin BBQ" was enough to feed 2 adults and one kid. Best thing is it was only $15.99! Free homemade soup of the day and free ice cream. Can't beat that when you come in with 3 kids! Service was excellent! Our waitress (Tabby) was attentive and very pleasant.

Worst BBQ ever! Ribs tasted like they were boiled then put in the oven. For 11.99 i received 2 ribs, coleslaw swimming in liquid and 3 white/greenish tomato slices. Wait staff was friendly, food awful!

Lots of great food for a good price. Awesome service too. They kept giving us free samples of food. I had the pulled pork. Very tasty. Wife had the beef , Aldo good. TFT the banana pudding.

I like to think of myself as a BBQ Connoisseur. I'm very critical when it comes to the meat and the sauces but also the sides that makes a BBQ plate a BBQ plate. I'm used to southern BBQ consuming most of the BBQ I've eaten in Georgia and Alabama but have had it in Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, and California (the worse ever) My first experience with Florida BBQ was at Famous Daves.. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. I was doomed by my fate of never being able to experience truly fantastic BBQ again! Myself two of my Uncles and Aunts were out for a ride on the motorcycles one day and thought we should just see where this road takes us. Riding we passed the place but as soon as we realized it was BBQ we were quick to turn around and eager to try. We all went in and were quickly greeted by the friendly staff. We took a table and was promptly greeted by our friendly server. Of course I ordered the pulled pork plate along with sweet tea, baked beans, and cole slaw. She asked if we'd like to try a cup of complimentary soup so we did and it was great. After that we got our food and i couldn't believe it but I was back in BBQ heaven. The meat was so tender and flavorful cole slaw was probably the best I'd ever had (don't tell my mom) and the baked beans were tremendous. While I'm not a big fan of sweet BBQ sauces as opposed to mustard based on I can say that their sauces were great. I asked for the extra spicy kind they have and was the first at my table to try it. If they aske who wants to try it first. Make sure it's you. Thank you Log Cabin Bar-B-Que you've showed me that there is still hope for this world. I will see you again soon. Real Soon!

Driving through the center of the state of Florida can be difficult on the tastebuds. One never knows where to stop for fear of losing their tongue to some bad food. I must say, that I was pleasantly surprised by this happenstance stop. On my take-out order: Pulled pork on Texas toast French Fries Apple sauce Pepsi The meat was moist and had a good flavor to it. It is rare that I find sides that I will eat or care much for, but my partner seemed to enjoy them and ate them all. And it really is the meat that we are looking for when going to a BBQ joint, isn't it?

    (4)
  • Tresa H.

We ordered take out so I only gave it 4 stars as I can not comment on the wait staff. The ribs, pork baked beans and especially the slaw were delicious! I am very particular about slaw and baked beans and they were some of the best. I would definitely eat there again.

Sopped here with a small group for lunch while riding Harley's through the country roads. Did not expect much, but to food and service was quite good. The pulled pork was the best I have had; ever.

My boys and I are cynics, so when we come across people as genuinely kind and enthusiastic as the waitress we met at the Log Cabin Bar-B-Que, we look hard for the angle. Free soup? Fixing a crossed order by just giving us a couple of additional meals to go? Something didn't feel right. Our best guess was that if this was the start of an action / horror movie, the scene just after the free ice cream would have us waking up woozy somewhere in the Everglades with (option a) Samuel L. Jackson as our evil captor or (option b) Samuel L. Jackson rescuing us from Ashley Judd as our crazy captor. Note to self: We should also find a part for David Caruso in there somewhere. But I digress. Delicious barbecue. Delightful waitress. When we asked if the free ice cream was home made, she even admitted it was store bought. How crazy is that? I love this place, and the next time I'm passing through Labelle, I'll take my chances and dine here again.

The Log Cabin Bar-B-Que is located in a small town in southwest Fla. We drove over an hour to try this place. It is a family run business who take very good care of their customers. It was great. My wife and I enjoyed the baby back ribs. They were great. The baked beans were very good and my wife really liked black eye peas. They give complimentary soup and desert which were very good also.

    (5)
  • Kayla B.

Good food, fast service, friendly staff. Was passing through area and stopped for lunch. Husband had spare ribs, black eyed peas and green beans. I had pork sandwich, fries, baked beans and we shared an app of corn nuggets. Only complaint was fries weren't hot but honestly, everything else was great, hot and enough food. They even offered a small complimentary bowl of fish chowder to start and a scoop of ice cream for dessert although I don't know if that's all the time but its certainly a nice touch. Additionally, the menu is quite varied in case BBQ isn't your thing.

Review Date: 02/03/2011 Meh, it was ok. We might try it again and vacillated heavily between average and good. Miriam and I dined today and we had ribs, chicken, slaw, beans and finished with banana pudding. The sides were really good. Perfectly light and crisp slaw, not weighed down by mayo. I liked the beans more than Miriam, she thought they were a little sweet but I think they were not more so than average for barbecue beans. They had some green pepper and you could taste the beans as is not always the case in many BBQ establishments. I thought the rub was great at first bite, really heavy on the chili powder and this became a little too much by the 3rd rib. The smoke is really light and I think Miriam would have liked a little more. They weren't succulent, our benchmark for great ribs. They were a little dry and a little tough. We did agree that the sauces are very good. Miriam had the chicken combo plate. The chicken comes with their sweeter sauce and was average. Not really juicy or fall off the bone, not really smoked well but it was ok. Pretty good. The banana pudding is the fake banana flavored cream with nilla waffers. A proper pudding has pastry cream with bananas folded in topped with whipped cream. Everything else pales. This one is too sweet as well. They have a full menu with fish, steak and other choices. We loved the place itself and staff and would probably stop if we were through again for lunch.

We went for the BBQ, which was very good, but the sides and dessert stole the show. This place has everything that the chain stores try to manufacture. I will definitely come back on my next vacation.

Stopped by on my way to hog heaven. Very cozy place, the staff is very friendly. I did not eat any bbq since we were going to be loading up on hog, so I got the fish sandwich fried. WOW, best Ive tasted. Very flaky, soft, juicy. Beats cracker barrel fish fry IMO. Also had cole slaw, fries, sweet tea. All was great. Also they let us sample soup. Cream of broccoli I believe... wow, thank you !! I will be back to sample the BBQ and beans!

My husband and I were visiting family in FL recently. We live in San Diego. We stayed in St. Petersburg (west coast) but were meeting relatives from Boynton Beach (east coast). I used a map to find a half-way point between the two and Labelle seemed perfect. Yelp helped us find a place to meet for lunch and did we hit the jackpot! Log Cabin Bar-B-Que was terrific! The food was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ambience was fun and cozy. The owner came over to check on us and asked how we liked the mahi-mahi (two of the four of us ordered it). He had personally caught it the day before and wanted to make sure we knew how fresh it was. It was delicious and you could definitely taste the freshness. He told us if we came back for dinner we could have the tuna he just caught. When we first arrived the place was empty and we were a little unsure. By the time we left, it was packed. It's definitely popular. I'm not sure why we'd ever find ourselves back in Labelle but would eat here again in a second if we were anywhere near the area. Oh yeah, we all got free ice cream for dessert too.

Don't eat anywhere else when you're in La Belle! Come hungry and leave happy! The fried okra was the best around. The pulled pork was tender and juicy, and the flavor of the ribs was right on point! You won't be disappointed! My only note would be to get the cheese on the side if you order the pulled pork melt sandwich. Finally, you get a free cookie and cream icecream after your meal - you can't beat that!

Phenomenal Experience!! Our server was extremely friendly and so nice to my children. The food was awesome - I had seared scallops (Yum!!) and our whole experience was absolutely fantastic. I loved my entire experience here!!

I always look forward to breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Log Cabin when I have to be in Labelle for work. You can tell how good the food is by how it's always packed. In my last trip I had the Fried Fish and Shrimp for lunch one day and the Chicken Fried steak, home fries, eggs, and biscutts for breakfast the next day. The food is always good and they have the friendliest staff you would ever want. At lunch and dinner they are always there with a free sample of the soup of the day and/or a taste of ice cream for dessert.

We have had about 5 different meals here: breakfast, lunch & dinner - all were very good & reasonably priced with good sized proportions. Family owned restaurant. Wait staff & owners always very friendly - fast service. Place is very clean and cutely decorated. Would recommend for a good meal - fish, burgers, pulled pork, great home made soups & deserts.
