The food is spectacular, and ridiculously cheap I am from colorado and believe me food like this for five people would have been well over 80 dollars and we spent $37.00 for Five people you cant get any better then that, i had the chicken and let me tell you that was the best chicken i have had in a long time, my dad had the ribs with rice and beans, mom had a cuban sandwich, my son had a chicken soup and my daughter had the octopus salad all of which was delicious! Breakfast here is also amazing and this place is also a bakery with pastries, cookies and tons of other sweets! Def recommend and worth standing in line!

Great food. Dirty locale. EXTREMELY LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE (even by Puerto Rican standards). I'm from the island and I am used to disorganized and less than clean eateries. But this one takes the whole Biscocho. I ordered 2 chickens for a party and was told they would be ready in 1.5 hours. Here I am back in this craphole 1.5 hours later (I called 20 minutes ago to check my order and no one answered). So the idiot who I spoke to initially asks me where I had gone to (since I was expected to wait here like an idiot for 1.5 hours the entire time). Now I'm late and this a55hole is blaming me for having CONTINUED with my life for the last 1.5 hours.

This place is like spanish food heaven! I have been eating here a while and everything is so good. If you love mofongo, you have to try this place out. My usual is carne frita ( fried Pork) with mofongo, but I am now hooked on the avocado salad and rotisserie chicken. I don't speak spanish, but I usually am able to order by pointing and trying to sound something out. Sometimes there is someone there to translate. Don't let that stop you from giving this place a try. Today I got half a chicken, two sides, and coconut flan for $10. Great prices! I will be eating on this for at least three meals. The place gets packed with locals and parking can be a pain when its busy. They also have an array of baked breads and sweets. Check it out!

Their mofongo was a 1.5 out of 5. I have had way better. They apparently weren't very friendly on the day I was there. The guy working behind the counter did not want to help me for some reason. I had mofongo con pulpo & I just wasn't impressed, especially for the price. I won't go back.

The first time I came here all was good. My friend ordered the chicken and rice (in spanish) and it tasted amazing. Then I go with another friend and I am left ordering by myself... and I have to order in English. Granted they do have English speaking employees there, but I guess I was just lucky enough to not get one of them. The customer before me got the last chicken that was already cooked. So the guy tells me it will be 10 min. I ask him if I can go ahead and get the rice now and the chicken when it was done and again "10 minutes". I then said "no, I just want the rice now and the chicken when it is done" since I figured he didn't understand what I was saying... and again "10 minutes". So I went and sat down agitated and hungry. Finally the chicken is ready and a couple was in front of me. It was clear they ordered a half chicken, so he chops it up and boxes it up for them. And since I also ordered a half chicken I'm thinking that the rest is for me. WRONG! he boxes up some... I'm thinking 1/4 chicken, and leaves some there and boxes up the the other half of my half for the guy behind me. I told him I ordered a half chicken, and he confirms that it is a half. But how does 2 halfs of a chicken equal to 3 portions. I was to aggravated to even attempt to dispute him. So I left there pissed off. Not a good experience. I will probably try them again... since the chicken is good. And if my next experience is better I will update my review. But for now they get 1 star... solely for the bad customer service and jipping me on my chicken. Side note.... the guy that boxed my supposed to be half a chicken spoke perfect english... it was not the same "10 minutes" guy.

Hands down the best rotisserie chicken around the area. Not only do they serve bird, they have other meat choices, sides, soups, and pastries. Whenever I stop by, I make sure to get a whole chicken and their freshly baked bread. Cheap and delicious.

The best rotisserie chicken I have ever tasted! This is no lie. I have eaten plenty of fine birds in my day, but this place takes the prize. Tucked away in a strip mall on Osceola Parkway and Landstar, this little latin restaurant and bakery has some amazing food. A wide range of pastries and food items awaits the patron here. Aside form the chicken, the yellow rice and roasted pork are particularly good. I really want to try the sandwiches here someday, but we go primarily for the chicken. Did I mention the chicken? The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it gets a bit crowded and if you dont get there early enough you run the risk of missing out on your chicken feast.

the stars aren't necessarily for the view, ambiance, or anything other than the single (or perhaps double)-most important things: the food and the customer service... We ate there as northerners (NY, BOS, NJ) on a stop and go between orlando and Disneyworld, stopping just long enough to get hungry, and I'm glad we did... The food is fricking awesome. I had the mofungo, my boyfriend the chuleta and others from our party everything from cuban sandwiches to simple pollo guisado and seriously it was allllll delicious. Each meal was as it as supposed to be: the mofungo had a gorgeously delish garlic butter sauce, the stewed chicken was appropriately mild and sweet with tang, the cuban was to absolutely kick your feet up into the air and die for delicious. Seriously, cucaracha style. The place is also VERY inexpensive and the portions VERY generous. The owner/server is also super sweet, though it likely helps to understand Spanish and have a desire to eat Puerto Rican (original and adapted) food. Honestly, better than most places I've eaten in Washington Heights (NYC). Sorry guys... Better than spots in JP and Lawrence/Worcester too... Sorry.... Good lord. I will say this, i'm not 100% certain the owner/server speaks english and I'm not sure it matters, point, smile and eat. you'll be happy with whatever you end up with. I'm drooling as i type, so sad to be 1100 miles northward.

The rice was hard. The guy admitted the rice was made at 9 am. It was already 2 pm. He brought me rice from the back same thing. Chicken breast was dry. If you want old rice at a cheap price go there.

Great rotisserie chicken, rice and beans. Yucca with onions and fried sweet plantains are another favorite of mine and they have it. I keep seeing the signs for mufungo and have not tried it. I have had their delicious deserts of tres leches and the other one called tb. I cannot understand what that is but it is a custard with grated coconut. WOW! can't wait for another vacation down here to eat again.

Down to earth place, very Puerto Rican. This is no fine place at all, just great food, at a very cheap price. No diets here, go elsewhere, this place is to be enjoyed.

Cheap and great food!!! Service isn't all that but can't expect much at a cafeteria style place..

Don't order a Cuban in a Puerto Rican spot.....it hardly had any pork in it....more mustard then cheese as well. All of their hot food items are amazing and the prices are very decent. I'll just stick to my pork rice and beans dish. The service needs to be worked on. A friend ordered a sandwich and they never made it and we waited more than 20 minutes expecting it.

Restaurant located away from main touristy area of Orlando. This restaurant features caribbean style cuisine in a cafeteria format. While the food was nice and some of the staff were very nice, other members of the staff weren't the most personable. I would recommend if you are the kind of person who knows what they want. I would not recommend if you have to ask multiple questions in order to decide what food items to pick. Not a bad place overall.

SO MUCH FOOD FOR SO CHEAP!!! Pioco's seems shaddy only because of the location but the food is so amazing and so cheap! I speak absolutely no spanish and never have an issue ordering my food. This place is amazing and definitely a must go for anyone looking for an authenic spanish meal.

Tasty and very affordable latin food, in the choose-from-what-you-see style. They are my local go-to place whenever we don't feel like cooking. It can get pretty busy, with very long lines in the afternoon, which should be a good indication of the overall quality. I have had their chicken, mofongo (puerto rican dish), ropa vieja (shredded beef) and guisado de pollo (chicken stew), yuca con mojito (yucca with onions) and they are all pretty good. They also make an Italian-style chicken and peppers dish, but they don't make it often enough, which is a shame, because it was great. Their arroz con gandules (traditional puerto rican rice) is excellent. They also sell desserts and they are good enough, but they are not the main attraction. Service wise, they are for the most part, very friendly and accommodating, except for one server/cook/chickenchopper, who tends to look too serious as if annoyed and doesn't seem to like special requests. He's the polar opposite of the usual server, who is fun, loud and jokes with the customers. Overall, if you are in the area and are in the mood for some homemade-style latin food, you can't go wrong here. Ignore the corporate, boring Applebee's in the same area, and dine on some very tasty food!

This place has the best chicken in Orlando!!! Once you there it doesn't get any better. I eat there very often and love the Rotisserie Chicken with Tostones and the yellow rice is to die for!

Eat here whenever I'm in kissimmee. Great food. Sometimes the line gets crazy but with the good food and low prices why would it. Plus they have a bakery section. Yum!

Reasonable prices - great place to pickup delicious dinner for the family. I agree with others, the restaurant itself is small and looks unclean but that may be more to do with the condition of the building. It is intimidating for me to order without my husband there as he speaks Spanish but that's the same in most Latin restaurants in the area.

I ordered the roasted chicken and rice an gandules for my wedding and people were raving about it for weeks. Every piece of chicken was so tender and perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I was so impressed and can't drive buy without stopping in for atleast a quarter chicken.

Fantastic quality food, always fresh and delicious with generous portions. Only 4 stars since dining area always seems to be dirty and unkept. Tables are usually in need of cleaning and seats are old and deteriorated. The ceiling fans look like they have never seen a cleaning cloth. However, other than that, the food is amazing.

This place has the best chicken here in Orlando. Their food honestly is amazing, anytime I try a new item the taste never disappoints. The reason they get four stars from me is the awesome taste of their food. Their speed of service and their customer service skills are completely in the trenches. They experience a bottle neck in their ordering portion of the restaurant. Expect to wait a LONG time when their out of chicken. Calling before hand doesn't mean you'll receive your food. I've personally never sat and ate at this location, but I can only imagine trying to enjoy a meal with people in line right next to me. Behind the counter you normally engage with about three people trying to take your order. They seem to be to out of focus. They'll take my order, prep half and get distracted by another customer and begin to take their order. Now you have to pay attention to what ever was done with you half made order. Since they may put someone's else's food with yours. This unorganized situation carries over to the confused cashier that then tries to sort everything out. This is when you need to pay attention since she'll look at everything and price you out with items you didn't want. All in a nut shell of this horrible service, but awesome food, the food taste is well worth the wait and head ache. Their so lucky the their food taste so good, just be ready to use plenty of your phones battery life while you wait. You may also make some good conversations with people waiting with you.

No stars. I just went there and I ordered a mofongo. My entire family ate their meal and I didn't get my food until 30 minutes after they ate. You can imagine how uncomfortable that was. I didn't get my food until I was ready to leave and ask for a refund. The service is definitely as cheap as the prices. Stay away!
