Happen to be in the area and grabbed a bite to eat here @ way back. Not a customer in site and two people working and place had a slight odor to it but looked clean. I suffer from a sensitive stomach and super careful what I put in my body. So I got a cheese burger and fries with a drink and that was the worst thing I could have eaten in a long time. It was awful and a friend of mines said oh I have been there three times and had same experience. My husband calls is place Crap Burger because once you eat there you will run home to bathroom. Poinciana needs better places to enjoy meals. Will not eat there ever again.

If you're in Kissimmee or Poinciana, you have to go to Wayback Burgers! Freshness of burgers can't be beat- Mac n cheese bites were amazing as were the fresh, hot bbq chips and milkshakes. Great service, clean restaurant. Will continue to come back.

I've only been there once and that was when they first opened. It was only a burger joint. When it first opened, I thought "good Poinciana finally has another sit-down restaurant" but it fell short of my expectations. Think of it as an overprice Burger King that can serve beer. Now, with that being said, the food was good and cooked to order but the price was too much for what you got.

We've eaten here a few times. Juicy burgers, good fries. Nice change up from other restaurants around, pizza is pretty much all there is out here! Quick call ahead take out, nice staff.

Well we tried it ... it was ok . I has the Cod fish sandwich and fries . Fish was soggy in side like it needed to be cooked little longer . Son had Chicken tenders he said it tasted like fish .. nothing to brag about.. it just was .. maybe next time I should try a burger because it is a burger place ? ..

We go here about once a week or so and it is always hit or miss. Today, when we went in, there was not a single customer in the place and the staff was just standing around. Yet, the place was a disaster - not a clean table in the place. One would expect a place to be cleaning or at least being productive when they aren't serving customers. Then, if there is nothing else to be done, stand around and chat. But, when you have unsupervised teenagers, you can't expect much. Hopefully, this place will stick around since there are few other places to eat. But that won't happen if people aren't willing to pay $6-8+ for a burger (and no sides) in a dirty restaurant.

I found this place using Yelp! I noticed it was recently open. I had never heard of Jake's Wayback Burgers. I looked up the company and saw they have over 70 locations. It wasn't to far from home, so I gave it a shot. We arrived at Jake's from first glance standing outside it doesn't look like anything special. Once in you come into a place with a modern industrial look of metal red, dark brown, and black. The menu is similar to burger joints like Boardwalk Burgers and Five Guys Burgers & Fries. I had the Double Bacon Burger Combo and my girlfriend had the Philly Burger Combo. We also ordered an extra side of onion rings. We were very surprised on how good the burgers were. The quality of the meat was excellent. My girlfriend also enjoyed her burger she did wish it had mayonnaise and a little bigger kick of pepper. Over all she did enjoy it. I enjoyed my burger as well. The onion rings were also pretty good. I know that we would visit again. The staff was really friendly and polite. They also went out of their way to ensure that our food was good to our liking and did ask if there was anything else we would like. Even offering to fill up our drinks without us having to get up and get it ourselves. Great experience.

Delicious burger! It was pretty messy but cooked well. I use to go to Jake's in Delaware and this one seems different, more updated. I visited on a lunch break and I would suggest giving yourself extra time because the food is prepared while you wait. I will go bsvk next time I'm in Poinciana for sure!

So Sunday evening March 1st we had planned on trying Wayback for the first time, upon arrival there was a sign saying sorry we are out of the following items, the list had several items listed, hot-dogs was one but the key item was French fries! I don't know about you but I need fry's with my burger! With out the second most important item to a burger meal we decided to leave and try again in two Sundays. From the amount of outs it gives the impression that they are controlling the inventory too tightly and is affecting customer service.

There aren't really many places to eat in Poinciana, but this place is definitely a gem! The burgers are great, it's a little more pricey than a McDonald's or Burger King, but definitely worth it. It has a old time burger joint feel to it and they serve beer!! They also play sports at the restaurant. We're definitely becoming regulars at this place!

Ordered the turkey club and the patty was very small, the bun was two times bigger than the patty. It tasted good but was way too expensive for the portion. Also you have to order the fries and drink separate and the burgers are like $6.00 alone.

Only went here once when they first opened. The line was out the door so I thought it would be worth the wait. It was crazy and disorganized, which I can overlook because it was opening week. The burgers were a little overpriced for how mediocre they were. The cherry vanilla shake was the featured shake and it was also mediocre. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great. I never went back because I felt I could get more for what I spend but somewhere else.
