Best BBQ I've ever had and cheap!!! Family owned since 1971 and training their 4th generation to run the stores! $22 for a feast for 2. Add fresh salad bar with all of the essentials for $2.50 2 ladies for lunch on Saturday - didn't even make a dent on the platter. Amazing amazing taste. Staff? It's like going to nana's house for grub. Best comforting feeling you'll get outside of your own family.

The food was delicious I had the deluxe combo meal pulled pork, smoked chicken, smoked beef, and smoked barbecue rib. And 2 sides the homemade baked beans that were out of this world and a baked potato. The waitress was very nice. I whole experience dining there was delightful. Next time in Florida I would definitely stop here again :-)

This little unassuming BBQ place along 192 is a hidden gem. It does feel like a step back in time or at least like you are traveling outside of Orlando - gone are the touristy, over-colored chain-type decor of a lot of places in the area. There are pictures of cows and animals at state fairs when you walk in, then they are serving...those animals? so this is probably a vegetarian's nightmare. Alas, I enjoy meat, so I am okay with this. Service was great - and the food was good. Macaroni and cheese was warm, buttery, and the right style for the typical BBQ mac and cheese. Green beans were the best of my meal - I could just eat them. The sloppy pork was just OK - good, but not amazing. I'd suggest it over most other BBQ places in the area, definitely!

We had the ribs and the sauce was outstanding!! The coleslaw was so-so and the corn on the cob was the best I've ever had! Service was awesome and very attentive. They refilled my glass before it was even half empty. Definitely well worth going to and repeating often!!!

BEWARE! This place has a dirty kitchen with dirty kitchen workers and dirty practices. ALSO...while I looked into the kitchen as the door swung open, I saw a WAITRESS TOUCHING FRENCH FRIES WITH HER DIRTY BARE HANDS on a customer's plate that she then served to them. YUCK! That is ILLEGAL. I also saw another waitress touching cooked toast with her bare hands. Bare hand contact with cooked food can make you very, very sick.

Maybe it was just the day I went, but the food seemed just average. Not horrible, but not as good as the ratings made it out to be. My family and I have just moved from Atlanta, GA where we found some excellent BBQ places and started our search for a new favorite BBQ place here. I'm guessing we will keep searching. The most disappointing was the sauce. They had 4 types to choose from and none of them really did the trick. The best item I tried was the ribs, they were cooked perfectly. Everything else was just so-so. The staff was friendly, and the location was easy enough to find. The decor seemed very dated, and kind of smelled like my grandmother's house... old and dusty.

I didn't want to eat here based on the outside appearance. We got the BBQ FEAST for 2 and it was amazing. Our son ate it with us and we still had two boxes of leftovers! Good for the cheap price!

We had the "Sloppy BBQ Pork" and I must say...it was terrible. I've had better pork that's pre-made in the freezer isle at the supermarket. We called ahead in search of BBQ that's cooked with a vinegar based sauce because we prefer it over sweet BBQ. We were unaware that their sauce would just be seasoned cider vinegar. Pass this place up if you are a lover of BBQ.

I found this place on another website, highly recommended. It did not disappoint! The area may look a little rough, but the restaurant and staff are lovely, old school American style. The menu was huge and very well priced. The staff were happy and able to cater for my allergies to gluten, dairy and egg with no problem. Great place for lunch or dinner.

First time here. We are from the UK so really have nothing like this to compare. The nearest you can get is baby back ribs from a pub chain. That said the ribs here are excellent and for those who don't like BBQ sauce, they don't come with it on. They are just wood smoked and the sauce option is up to you. Very good value for money. Would come here again. This the better of the two on the 192. The other is a few miles away in St Cloud.

Good food. Friendly waitress. Definitely should try. Prices are very reasonable. Had the sloppy pork, their version of pulled pork, thumbs up. Hubby had the ribs, he also enjoyed his food.

If you're in the Kissimmee area, there are tons of fast food and chain restaurants, but not many stand-out one-offs. Luckily, there's Fat Boy's BBQ. The food here is tasty, and is a good value. I had a dinner plate for 2, which came with a decent helping of two meats, 4 sides, and garlic toast...plenty of food for two people. The dining area is modestly sized, with clever authentic-looking decorations using ranch brands. All the servers were very helpful. Overall a great place to eat if you're in the area.

Anything good that anyone has said about this place is a lie. My family and I went here for dinner because we were looking for a good bbq joint in Kissimmee. Since Fat Boys was relatively close to where we were, we gave it a try. What a mistake! My husband and I both ordered an all you can eat plate. He got the ribs and I got the sliced pork. The sides were basic but okay. The macaroni amd cheese needed serious help and the baked beans were decent but too sweet in the long run. My husband's ribs came out super dry and the pork I got was okay but a little too fatty. We both thought that if we reordered more that maybe it would come out better. Nope. The second set of ribs came out drier than the first and the sliced pork that I got the second time around looked and tasted like it had been boiled. The only good point about this place is the garlic bread. It didn't even really taste like garlic though...just buttered bbq bread. To top off the amazing evening (sarcasm obviously), something sharp was on the underside of the table and caught and ripped my shirt. I let out a few words and just shook my head, left a small tip and paid to get out of there. Do yourself a favor and avoid the joint. Especially if you're an out of towner!

We were visitors to the area and wanted to try a real BBQ place. After consulting Yelp, we decided on Fat Boys. Overall, Fat Boys was very good BBQ for a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is very old school, clean, and bare bones. Upholstered benches and booth style tables. Pictures of family on the walls and ranch branding symbol plaques on the wall. Plastic fountain cups and banquet plates. Upon entering the restaurant, you can smell the BBQ. We ordered the feast for two which was massive and enough to feed a family of 4. The platter cones with ribs, chicken, sliced pork, sliced beef, smoked turkey breast, beans, coleslaw, corn, and garlic bread and two sodas for under $25. The same kind of platter is over $40 back home. The ribs were tender and meaty. The sliced roast beef and turkey was tasty. The chicken was excellent. They have three sauces at the table: hot, sweet, and mild. Sweet was our favorite. What really stood out was the coleslaw and beans - both among the best I have ever had.

The Small Feast for 2 with beverages was $25 a very good value included Smoked ribs , thinly slice smoked turkey breast, thin sliced brisket, smoked chicken breast, pork choose the sloppy pork (excellent) corn on the cob, cole slaw (just they way I like it), BBQ beans were sooo good, the Garlic bread was the best ever. We would eat here again and recommend to friends and others. The atmosphere is kid and family friendly. Didn't get the salad bar but saw several tables eating and enjoying it. Plenty of food easily have another meal to go. Warm friendly place. There was a table of police and a lot of locals eating there, which tells me the food is good and fairly priced. Not a fancy place. Was clean and had good smoked BBQ.

Finally got around to trying Fat Boys since I'm a huge bbq fan! The menu here is quite big! I ordered the bbq sliced beef lunch plate, it comes with 2 sides and 2 pieces of garlic bread, I got the Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Both sides as well as the garlic bread were tasty. The beef was slightly pink, and mostly tender. Hubby had the bbq sliced pork lunch plate. His pork was tender and juicy and as sides he had fries (BORING) and beans, the beans are meaty and almost like a chilli! The table provides 3 types of bbq sauce; sweet, mild and hot. All were good, the mild was a little vinegary for my taste though. So overall this place is good, at least worth putting in the BBQ rotation. Also they serve breakfast till 11am!!!

Lady that seated us was nice, but...the place smelled like old grease and in dire need of a deep cleaning, the bbq sauces were all just awful tasting (nausea worthy) and the chicken tasted really funny...the corn on the cob was cooked from frozen (mushy and no flavor), the coleslaw was store bought or at least that's how it tasted and the green beans were straight out of a Del Monte can with no seasoning or butter at all...ick, needless to say, we won't be back...not sure how they have stayed open...

Friendly family restaurant. The menu includes value meals for two as well as choices in the amount of meat you want on your sandwich along with other dishes. My husband and I split a slab of ribs with garlic bread. We each had a choice of two sides and the drinks were included. The ribs were meaty and tasty. There were two choices for barbecue sauce. I had the sweet and tangy which was excellent. We both had sweet tea and it was good. The entire meal was under $24 plus the tip. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Second trip to this place, about three years apart. Love the down home, old country feel. Food, as before, was great. Ribs were meaty and lean. BBQ beans were down the old fashion way, with some meet ground up in them. Wife got the Senior ribs, which were smaller, but the only $6.50. I simply ordered a side she wanted, the smaller portion didn't matter. ( she also stole one of my ribs). Three sauces, regular, sweet and "hotter." Service was fast and our food arrived hot! Someone mentioned a dirt parking lot. Their lot is paved. The opposite side had a dirt patch you could park on if the lot was full but given the size I can't see that being necessary. As the server brought our bill she asked if we wanted drinks to take with us. Nice touch! Pricing is about right for what you get and there are lesser priced options.

There was not anything memorable from this visit aside the fact that I felt like I was in a restaurant that was interior decorated in the late 1970s. I am not letting that affect my rating here. The food was good, not great. The service was good, not great. I'm still searching for a BBQ restaurant in the Orlando area that "wow"'s me.

Yum! So good that I went there twice in one week when I was on vacation in Orlando! The staff is super sweet, the BBQ is awesome, and the prices are reasonable! I loved the BBQ beans and the sweet potato with the cinnamon butter. Yum yum yum. Wish we had one in Cali!

I could only give this place 2 stars, but let me explain...the sloppy pork sandwich was amazing!! I have never had pulled pork so dry that I had to bathe it in sauce just to be able to swallow it. Luckily the sun didn't shine on it directly because it would have caught fire. The French fries were a welcomed change from the delicious and flavorful fries that I have had elsewhere. I really appreciate a good generic frozen then fried crinkle cut fry over fresh fries any day. The absolute highlight of our lunch experience wasn't all of the crying babies, which there were quite a few, it was the crackhead motel right beside this place. We were actually lucky enough to see a few of the residents zombie walking around the premises Kissimmee has really stepped up it's game and Fat Boys BBQ has answered with the "best it can do" BBQ. So if you are looking for a BBQ joint that will make you crave a McRib combo while feeling you could be attacked by a junkie in the parking lot, look no further, Fat Boys is the place!

Unasumming little gem in Kissimmee. Food was great, service was fast, and the staff were all extremely nice to us. Don't miss it, the Platter for 2 or 4 is a ton of food and a really great deal.

We ordered a TON of food to go. I really liked the sweet sauce, I liked it more than the hot or medium sauce. It was good mixed with the hot sauce too. The hot sauce was ok on it's own, but the medium sauce wasn't good. We had a ton of each sauce though, so it was ok. The chicken, wings, and ribs were very good. You don't even need to use sauce on them, if that's your thing. Brisket was yummy, but not as good as the above. The sides were disappointing. The green beans and macaroni and cheese were both gross, fries were good though. I'd get the wings and ribs again if we were in the area and had a taste for some BBQ, but I would never order any sides. The wings and ribs bumped this review up to 3 stars.

I grew up eating at this restaurant........Good BBQ, GREAT Breakfast! Oh and don't forget to order the beans!

The people are very nice but the food isn't really typical BBQ. I had the pork and I was essentially just eating lunch meat. The fries were undercooked and the BBQ baked beans were more like chili. If you want real BBQ, i would not recommend this place.

I went to this hidden gem with my family (party of 8 plus a 16 month old) and they had a comfy picnic table for us. The staff is extremely friendly and the decor is homey. Our waitress Anna was very patient and sweet. I ordered and loved the sweet tea! My and hubby shared a slab of ribs which was juicy and seasoned beautifully. I would definitely recommend the ribs. It'll definitely feed 2 starving people easily. It came with 4 sides and 2 slices of garlic bread. My dad had the half chicken which was also delicious and the kids had the chicken tenders from the kids meal and it must have tasted good because they cleaned their plates. The portions are a good size meaning you'll definitely be full from 1 order. One order comes with 3 sides and garlic bread. Everyone else in my party ordered the same thing, chicken and we shared the ribs. For sides we ordered the beans (they were good), corn on the cob (that was good), Mac n cheese (kids liked it), fries (ok), cole slaw (ok) and the garlic bread was yummy! I would definitely come back for more!

All though I have lived in the area for years it took me awhile to visit because of the neighborhood and the appearance of the outside of the building. Then they opened the smaller carryout location on Deer Run rd in St. Cloud and I gave them a try. The food was so good that my wife and I decided to give the Kissimmee location a chance. I had the all-you-can-eat ribs, I like the ones at Sonny's and these were even better and when asking for a refill they didn't bring out the 2 or 3 pitiful ribs, like you get at Sonny's, they brought out big, meaty ribs! The décor was nice as well, with a lot of the history of Kissimmee on display. The only down side was that the server was not very friendly, she was efficient though.

I wanted to try a local BBQ joint and the other reviews here seemed to indicate this was a good place for BBQ. Based by the looks of the place it seems to be a local favorite, but I'm not sure why. We had chicken and the sloppy pork. The chicken had a nice smoky flavor and crisp skin, but was dry. We also had baked sweet potato that was overcooked. The sloppy pork was just short of mushy. I used the men's room and when I came back I spotted a worker taking a nap, literally stretched out on a bench, at a booth that seems to have been converted to an employee lounge with the local paper spread out on the table. The service was friendly and fast, but we were there in the middle of the afternoon (we were on vacation dining hours). The sweet tea was excellent, just the right amount of sugar. But I have had much better BBQ ... a home in Indiana! If I return to Kissimmee, and I do plan to return, I won't go back here.

I always drive by the St. Cloud location while heading down 192 while going east. I did not think too much of it until I started working close to its other location along 192 and John Young Parkway. It's definitely a local bbq spot that has killer lunch combos. Nice bbq meats and good selection of fried fish! Definitely hits the spot.

So what do you do when you're hungry tourists in rural Florida on your way to an airboat swamp tour? You stop into a BBQ joint and stuff your face. I had done research on various Orlando-area BBQ joints before myself, my fiancée and a couple friends went down south, but our adventures were taking us in the opposite direction of them all, so after some interneting I came across Fat Boy's, which was on the way. It's certainly not much to look at, at least in the usual meaning of the phrase. On the other hand, it was a sight to behold, at least inside. Wood-paneled walls were absolutely covered with framed photos, with our favourite section being that of female rodeo competitors from decades past, judging by the hairstyles. Many were even signed! Seating was a mixture of well-worn booths and tables, and we chose a booth near the middle of the mostly-empty restaurant. Carrying on the theme of random pictures, there was a collage of people dressed up for Halloween from the '80s and before. Yup. Having seen an option for a $47 dinner for four on the menu board on the way in, we couldn't say no to that price and the ability to try many different foods. Naturally, I kept up my streak of ordering sweat tea while in the south (pronounced "swate" by any true southerner). We had our platter before us in a matter of minutes, and it was a sight to behold. There were several pork ribs, smoked chicken, thickly sliced smoked pork, deli-cut smoked turkey and beef, corn on the cob, several slices of garlic bread, coleslaw, and a big ol' bowl of baked beans. I had also chosen a sweet potato as my individual side, and it came with a condiment that was new to me - Country Crock cinnamon spread. Bless your fatty soul, 'Murica. We didn't need any invitations and dug right in. The garlic bread was simple but good - thick slices of toasted bread slathered in garlic butter, it wasn't anything new but it was enjoyable. The pork ribs were along the same lines; they had a mild smoke flavour and were low on bark, but were moist and properly cooked. The smoked chicken breast was even lighter on the smoke, but was nicely executed considering the cut and it being prone to being overcooked. The sliced meats were nothing to write home about, unless you were writing about the beef simply being not very good. I was surprised to see a non-brisket beef on the platter in the first place, and this roast beef was just dry and chewy. The smoked pork was sliced more thickly and was much better. Bottles of sweet, mild, and hot BBQ sauces at the table let us mix it up as we pleased, although I mainly stuck with the hot as it wasn't overwhelmingly so, just adding the right amount of kick. I think we all agreed that the beans were not only great, but the best item in that big ass heap of food that we got. The beans themselves had a perfect texture - not at all grainy, but not cooked to mush either, and tiny bits of pork added some richness of the thick, slightly sweet sauce. Our coleslaw was finely chopped, not shredded, and was lightly dressed in a creamy sauce. It was still crunchy and pretty basic, and I probably didn't have any right to count it as my vegetable for the meal. My sweet potato was super smooth and creamy when I cracked into the foil-encased tuber, and the cinnamon spread gave it an apple pie-like flavour, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I am totally down for margarine with brown sugar and cinnamon in it, apparently. We polished off all but a couple slices of the plentiful garlic bread and some fries, a very respectable showing considering the mound of food that had arrived at our table. The ladies working at Fat Boy's looked like they could have been working there for decades, and were just as friendly and attentive as you'd expect in a down home spot like that. A salad bar next to the rodeo wall wasn't touched by a single patron during our time there, and I can't imagine much else on this planet that's more lonely than a salad bar at a BBQ joint. While Fat Boys wasn't the best BBQ I've ever eaten, it was consistently OK and if you're in the area and a fan of baked beans, definitely hit them up. And if you're a woman in rodeo, your picture could even end up on the wall.

We were looking for a BBQ place nearby and happened upon Fat Boy's. It's a small little family restaurant with a friendly staff and quick service. Unfortunately we were not impressed with the food. I ordered the sliced turkey lunch plate, and I was kind of surprised to see the the turkey was basically lunch meat turkey. I was expecting a thicker slice, more like thanksgiving turkey. The sliced pork that my husband ordered was also sliced very thin, and was somewhat dry. We sampled the sloppy pork, which is like pulled pork, but the meat is pulled very small and is drowning in overly sweet sauce. The sides were all average. The corn on the cob, which costs extra, was pretty soggy. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere but probably will not return for the food.

I will say the good before the bad... The ribs are cooked beautifully. You can see the smoke ring and it tastes great. Their sauce is liquidy but had a great flavor. That's about the only great thing about my visit. I found their announcement system to be quite annoying. They use an intercom for front and back of house communication. Also the sides were bland. The mac n cheese tasted like kfc or walmart, i had higher expectations than that. The baked beans were disgusting. We should have just orderes fries all around because our sides went to waste. Our server was nice but she seemed to favorite other tables a bit more, since my husband and i are younger and maybe not so Caucasian? I dont know. But if i go back its for ribs and fries!

Wife wanted BBQ and I wanted to avoid chain restaurants. Could not find the place here on yelp but, Google reviews promised no frills BBQ and good sweet tea so I gave it a shot. It was ok overall, very casual, laid back, no tv's, all booths , no tables but, booths were large and could accommodate large families. Service was great, food also came out fast. The place reminds me a lot of sonny's BBQ ( if you are familiar with that chain) the ribs come out dry, already cut into individual pieces, you add the sauce at the table. Sauce choices were: sweet, mild, or hot.

Came here with my family when we were visiting for Disney world last month. The service was amazing our server a woman made sure that all of our drinks were full the entire time! The food was okay not as good as I thought it was going to be but it hit the spot! This 5 star review is solely on the amazing southern hospitality that they showed us while we were there!
