Been eating here for many years great food and great people never had a bad experience sliced and pulled pork is really good and they have a pretty good variety of food not just barbecue
Good food, nice place to go with family! Would have given 5 stars but again service sometimes lacks.
Well, that was good. I had the carolina q, fries, and mac n cheese. I'm not a fan of BBQ but the selections around the town are slim. The service was fantastic, the place is clean, and the food was great...for BBQ. The ranch dressing was really good, they might even make it, im pretty sure they do.

Wasn't sure what to expect. Party of nearly 20 peeps and the service was EXCELLENT!! We had burgers, sandwiches, shrimp, soup & salad, and more. Food was AWESOME!! Highly recommend and can't wait to go back!!
McHenry's came very highly recommended by my family, so I had to check it out while in the town of Melrose and Keystone Heights. They seem to be popular, with the parking lot almost completely full by the time we left after eating dinner here. They recently expanded with more room in the back for larger parties, as well as an outside area. Great atmosphere with a small town vibe. Service was okay, all were waitresses around college age, but appeared to have a bit of waitressing experience. I do not really understand what makes this an Irish Pub, since the brews and food offered are not different than any other sports bar. We ordered many items; clam strips on crinkle fries, fried green bean appetizer, fried okra appetizer, and hot wings mixed with garlic parmesan. The wings are naked fried--- and yeah, basically everything was fried. Except for the celery sticks that come with the wings. I saw some other tables ordered salads, which looked really fresh, not just iceberg lettuce. The main thing that stood out to me is their homemade dressings and sauces; ranch, tartar sauce, and blue cheese were homemade and really good. The fried green beans and okra, were almost $7 each per basket--- so the total added up to $70+ for a party of five people very quick. We all had sodas, and one person had a beer, but that's it.

Charlie Biggs Fried Chicken

I can't believe I'm doing this. 4 stars to a fried chicken place that's part of a gas station! What's the world coming to? Four stars because it stands that far out compared to other chicken places, both long standing local restaurants and other national franchises. Charlie Biggs fried chicken is a "system" a business owner can add. This one is new to the area and I didn't expect much. Didn't write a review until I'd tried it several times and compared it to other fried chicken around. The chicken is excellent and so are the sides. Service is fast and pleasant. No atmosphere, view, etc, but there is inside seating. Wish they were open on Sunday.

I recently had lunch here and the food was unbelievable, the best brisket ever, the sliced pork outrageous. Tonight we go there for take out (dinner), the pork was pulled & dried out, the brisket was good but all I got was 6little pieces, nothing like my first experience. It was a totally a different experience. I called the store after we ate since my husband and I were schocked at the difference in quality and quantity of food. I asked if the three meat was the same as the Miss Piggy, she went on to correct the Name for the three meat plate, but said the three meats is the same portions. She also stated they use to give 8oz of meet but they've cut down to 6oz (they should ad use if portions are smaller) I can tell you I did not get 6oz of brisket, btw the risked was good. The young man preparing the meat looked overwhelmed and lost. Overall this was not a good experience, I will stick with Sonnys on Williston road, in Gainesville at least they have table service 7days a week and the food is consistent
I don't know what the hell the owner was thinking when he made his menu! It's over priced and not enough for the big $$ you have to dish out. The only thing that's good about this place is the looks it has on the outside and the seating.
Best bbq I have had yet! So delicious. Cute little place and very kid friendly. Everything on their menu looks so delicious. I wish they had corn nuggets though. They probably could have given more fries. Seemed a little light on my plate.
