I enjoyed trying their food. I tried the kufta platter and it was good. Tasty and a very generous portions. Not the cheapest of fast casual restaurants but still good.

I've been to this place twice already. First of all, it's pretty pricey for being a franchise. Second, they don't serve falafels, BIG MISTAKE! Third, the hummus is alright, but I've tasted better. On the positve side, I'm pretty satisfied with the way the food was prepared, the meat it always cooked good, so far I've tried both Chicken and Beef. The service is always very good and the gentlemen at the register is very friendly. I'll definitely go back....even though they don't have falafels.......

I only ate 3 percent of my veggie melt. The veggies were so greasy and bland. It had so much cheese in it that it made my nauseous.

This place is quite awesome. I LOVE the felafel wrap and soups. They also have a halal certificate for the chicken only, not the beef. It does seem a little pricey but it is quality wholesome food. I left there feeling extremely satisfied and I didn't even finish my food. The guy was very nice to my husband and I, over all it was a great experience. Oh and they have sugar free desserts which was really nice, the sugar free baklawa was good, not as good as mine but good!

You pay for the quality of the meat & the rice. The owner showed us the receipt of what he pays & the markup is fair. We enjoy ordering from there very much.

We were in the neighborhood and hungry so I suggested this place. We went with the combo II steak. I didn't notice that the cuisine is Persian as all these times I thought it was Greek. Anyways, I feel that they are pricey $16,00 for my combo that didn't include a drink. However, in my opinion it was worth it. I liked the rice, the steak and that sauce. We also ordered humus but it was missing salt and the pita bread was tough. Overall I liked it, my sister didn't :(

I had been to this location multiple times. During my last visit, I got food poisoning, and so did my mom, who ate with me. This was back in December. I have not been able to look at this style cuisine, ever again. Reviewing now, as a friend mentioned getting food poisoning two weeks ago (same location).

Yum! This place is great. I love the Kubideh Rice, especially with the Sumac sauce. You don't have to wait too long for your order to be ready, which is always nice. The location is cute, and small. The food is a little pricey, but it's filling. My only complaint would be that the grilled tomato is always between lukewarm and cold and hardly grilled at all.

I'm a fan of Mediterranean food. This little restaurant strives to do justice to some of the more common dishes from falafel to kabobs... I recommend it if you're looking for a quick and inexpensive meal on the fly. A nice selection of deserts are displayed on the counter for your pleasure... I recommend the baklava. Located in the heavily trafficked Publix strip malls off of 137th Avenue and SW 56th Street this location is a bit hidden from the normal traffic patterns that surround it. Easy way to find it is to look for the Dunkin Donuts immediately to its left. The service is basic counter service. They will deliver the food to your table if they're not busy or if you're disabled. Otherwise be prepared to get up and go get it. Ample choices abound on the wall. Decently priced specials and combination platters are your best choices when ordering. Drinks are not included with the meals. You can dine in, take it out, or they deliver to the immediate area. The food is cooked to order (mostly) and it did have good flavor. The Basmati rice was cooked right and wasn't soggy like in other places I have tried. It wasn't four star worthy, but more like three and a half.... Give it a try, and let me know what you think.

I ordered the wrong thing. The chicken wrap is not the best. The plastic containers not amusing, and their Greek yogurt was extremely watery. I would try it again but I would order something else

I gotta say I am but disappointed with this location. I usually go to the one in Doral, and never had an issue but this one, doesn't measure up. We walked in on a Friday evening and immediately I was freezing. It was so cold in there, I was shivering and could barely eat my meal. When we ordered at the counter, after two meals and appetizer, the entire bill was about $30 something dollars plus tax. What!! That's insane for two people. Am I at a sit down restaurant? But in all fairness, we knew what we are getting ourselves into but man, RICE is expensive, yo! Cheaper to order during lunch time. When we sat down to wait for our food, the way the lady called us over was pathetic. She was like "here!" Didn't say our name, didn't say even say it loud enough for us to hear and had this look of disgust in her face, as if she didn't want to be there. Yeeouza! We order the Joojeh wrap, which I love and my husband order one of the combo platters which he liked too. We also ordered the hummus appetizer and they gave us like 4 mini pieces of pita bread. Ummm you give this huge tub of hummus and all we get is four mini slices of pita bread so we asked the lady for more and she said it was a dollar something extra. Really! After spending $30 plus tax, now we have to pay more for pita? Wow. A little too pricey for me. Food is great but be prepared to pay quite a bit for it. Oh and bring a sweater, it's damn cold in there!

Wow!! Just ate here and the food was great!!i had the Joojeh platter and it did not disappoint!! Thumbs up to his establishment!! Def want to eat here again!!!

I came here for lunch and I loved it. I had the falafel lunch platter which came with hummus, rice and greek salad. My only complaint was that the salad was way overdressed. Next time I will see if they can do the dressing on the side.

Can't go wrong with Persian cuisine. I usually get the $18 Combo III (Joojeh and Chenjeh). It's fresh and delicious, albeit a bit pricey for semi-fast food. Alternating bites between the grilled seasoned meats and the chopped Mediterranean salad will keep your taste buds from being jaded. Come during lunch hours and you'll see better prices. DON'T FORGET to get the Sumac Sauce -- it's what makes Rice House of Kabob Rice House of Kabob. The stuffed grape leaves are tasty, too. The only thing I didn't like about this location was that the person at the register had earbuds on while taking my order.

Clean... Closer to my place. I like the grape leaves, it's my favorite. The Greek yogurt sauce is watery.

My first experience with this place wasn't the greatest in terms of customer service but after speaking with the manager, she took control of the situation and made things right. Our dining experiences our usually only as good as the most recent ones, but to err is human and what matters here is there was accountability. There is no denying the food is delicious and you get great food at a reasonable price. The Super combo is the perfect plate to share and the baklava is just the right size and texture. I don't normally order lentil soup but my husband does and when he orders from here, I end up drinking half of it. I was really pleased when the manager reached out to me and didn't shy away from what happened - she was only interested in making sure I was happy and willing to come back. Thanks to her, we've ordered several times in the last few weeks and the food never disappoints. The lack of customer service, the one time, appeared to be an isolated incident and I'm the first to admit sh*t happens.

Not horrible. (Is that a good thing?) for some reason every side I asked for came in a plastic to-go container...cold. The steak kabob and ground beef kabob was good. The rice good too. The hummus (served in a plastic to-go container), not so much. Tasteless. Not seasoned. No olive oil. So, me being me, I asked for olive oil. So them being them gave me what appears (and tastes) to be vegetable oil (served in a plastic to-go container.). The yogurt was runny and could easily be served on tap. My son had a nice chicken wrap with the chicken cooked and seasoned very nicely. So like I said, all in all its not horrible. It's just not great (by a long shot.) Did I mention Shwarma is right up the road. Give it a try. It's a little better.

  • Felipe Z.

Delicooous! Been there many times. Only drawback are the prices. I grew up eating Arab food never had Persian. A delightful intro to Persian cuisine. The grape leaves can be on the bit tangy side something I'm particularly not accustomed to. My favorite Kafta platter although the Chenje is another favorite. Tip: Sumac sauce on the basmanti rice is where its at. Don't forget to finish off this delicious meal with a yummy baklava.

I don't know how to write my review but I know this: service is fantastic! I called for delivery and the man on the phone is really patient with me and cracked a couple of jokes. We ordered the Falafel (4 pieces- they actually tossed in a 5th one for free!), the Kubideh Platter as well as the Joojeh Platter. I had never had a Falafel before today [I know, its a crime really...] and I didn't really have any specific expectations. It was good. I'll say good because I'm not used to the flavor or the texture but it was good nonetheless. The Kubideh Platter, which my boyfriend had, was pretty good as well. The meat was seasoned very well so it tasted awesome! The Basmati Rice was meh. I can actually give a decent opinion on this because I've had it before and my previous experience was better. I had the Joojeh Platter and they give LOTS of veggies! I LOVE veggies so this was amazing for me. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion- yum yum! BUT their dressing! I wish it wasn't so but I, personally, was not a fan. And I drenched my dish in it -_- so needless to say, a lot of veggies weren't eaten today. The chicken was super delish so I was pretty happy about that! Their pita is whole wheat so I was not complaining. If i were to come again, I would try one of their wraps but definitely the platters aren't for me :(

Really disappointed in this place, I've loved going there to eat but today I tried ordering online through their website I attempted twice to pay with our card and both times it said transaction failed so I changed it to cash and still it said transaction failed. So I called and ordered over the phone. When my bf went to pick it up again they declined his card, he checked his acct and there was a charge from them from the orders online that "failed" my bf tried explaining to them and they blew him off and told him to call his bank.. Really not the way to handle a customer because of their website issue.. Smh.. DONT ORDER ONLINE!!

I love this place!!!!! I'm not too crazy about Persian restaurants/food... but this place is conveniently located by my house. I decided to stop in one day and give it a try, and I've been hooked ever since. What I've had...over and over and over again..... *Chenje wrap. (its a wrap..duhh.. with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, fillet of beef, feta cheese.. and a sauce that should be on everything you eat here.) *Hummus . its just yuMmy Tip: ask for 2 sauces... double dipping is a must! Service: Excellent and they are super friendly. Btw.. they deliver!!! :)

I'm a huge fan of the Doral location, but I've only been to this location twice. It definitely doesn't seem as popular, but when you open up this kind of restaurant in West Kendall right next to a McDonalds and a Burger King, that's what you get, I guess. My husband and I were last here on Super Bowl Sunday and the food was fantastic. We usually share the Combo 3- it's more than enough for 2 people. The owner is also really nice. We had a great conversation about people with bad eating habits, obesity and cancer...you know, those people at the Burger King next door...

I give Rice House of Kabob the superlative of "Best Baklava Ever"--seriously, it's that good; I have had baklava from The Daily Bread, Stoupsys, and Mykonos, and Rice House of Kabob's Baklava is definitely one to try. It is just full of flavor, and each bite just tastes so good. I have tried out their food at two Yelp events, so I wanted try this location by my house. It is located at the same shopping center as Publix, tucked away at the side, nearest to the street and has a bunch of tables. Since I came on a Sunday evening, it was rather empty. I ordered the kubideh salad to go. I am not sure why but the worker there told me it would take ten minutes which seemed like a long time considering no one else was there. To keep me busy, he let me sample the tomato soup, which was thick, creamy, and savory. I definitely would order it next time I come. In regards to my kubideh salad, it was more salad than anything, but the kubideh was fresh and crispy, making up for the quantity. Overall, I would give this visit four stars (minus one star because of the ten minute wait and wishing that the ingredients of the salad were balanced more). TIP: If you are getting something to go, make sure you call before picking up, or you may be waiting quite a while.

Great healthy place to eat! Love the joojeh platter which brings natural chicken, salad, bismati rice, the yellow sauce, and you can add avocado for $1 and a scoop of hummus for $1. The platter its around $13.50 but worth it! The one in Miami Beach is great too!

    (5)

Eeeehhhhhhhh, I've had better I had some wrap there wasn't amazed by it, asked for avocado didn't get it..anyways you can get similar stuff in Miami subs thanks bye

The secret's in the sauce! We stumbled on this little gem just before the dinner rush. My picky eater little girl had the chicken platter and devoured it. I had the chicken wrap and my husband had the sirloin wrap. Both were delicious. When you added the sauce it was a next level wrap. So tasty. My only complaint was that the rice was a little dry and although the salad wasn't bad at all...Ive had better. (The sides seemed like after thoughts) Over all this place was definitely worth stopping and we will be back for sure.

I love this restaurant. It's a couple of blocks from our place & we either dine in our order take out quite frequently. The food is delicious & their basmati rice is EXCELLENT. The woman at the counter is always friendly & helpful. It's a pretty good deal for lunch due to their lunch specials, but dinner can get a bit pricey. Still, my husband & I often cave & spend the extra bucks from time to time for dinner cos the food is so tasty. Kubideh platter, Joojeh Chicken platter & Chenjeh platter are favorites.

  • Christine P.

My boyfriend and I just ordered delivery, and while it came on time with everything we wanted, my falafel was over fried to sad burnt little chunks of would-be deliciousness. Everything else was fine. Hope it doesn't happen again.

Tried this location out today for the first time. I usually go to the one in Brickell. The hummus was dry and old. When I asked for olive oil they gave me some used canola oil. When I complained they said that is the only kind of oil they have. When the falafel arrived it was soggy straight out of a microwave. I went ahead and returned those. She told me falafel are not made fresh. they come pre packaged and all they do is re heat them. I will definitely not be returning to this place.

Love this place! We went to have dinner, and my 7 year old enjoyed our shared meal. The fish is great, and portions are big. The place is super clean, and the temperature was very cold, which I like in a restaurant. The food was made to order, and tasted super fresh. Their curry sauce was great as well. Glad I tried it, and will definitely be going there again.

I'm really disappointed with this place for the food and the worst customer service... Two sandwiches and one drink $25!!! We paid extra $1.50 for each sandwich to have hummus inside and they did not add it, took 20 min to prepare it and were really plain and with no flavor at all!!! Poor attention, cold place and not good food ...

  • Rocío R.

A little over a year ago I would've easily given this place five stars; however, since my homeboy stopped working here, I'm saddened to say things haven't been the same. The food is definitely delicious! I prefer the platter that brings a little bit of everything: two different meats, chicken, and rice--great to share. The joojeh [chicken] wrap is also another of my faves--juicy and full of flavor, along with the soups. Anyway, I just wish the customer service was still as amazing as it was when the old manager was there. He made every customer feel like they were special, which drew me there to begin with. I sure do miss him, but the food doesn't disappoint.

  • Lauren Q.

This place is a great healthy alternative with yummy Mediterranean type food... I love the joojeh chicken with the basmati rice. The real star of this place is the sauce that comes with your order, I would eat anything if I could dip it in that sauce- it's called sumak (spell check) sauce. Their hummus and pita is also delish!

This place is right next to my house and I have to admit the food is delicious. : the food always tastes like the ingredients are fresh it leaves you full but not in an comfortable way. Definitely recommend.

I love this place!! Best Persian food in Kendall for sure The Jaloop platter is awesome... chicken...rice and a side salad with a slice of pita. They also have additional side sauces.....the rice is cooked to perfection and the customer service is always friendly!!! Food takes from 10-15 min to cook if your ordering to-go.... They also have baklava for dessert its a must try!!! Plates are from $7-12 average prices.. Went last week.. planning to go again soon!

YUM. Excellent food in large portions (my husband and I split one of the meat platters and we had leftovers). Great customer service - the guy at the counter gave us a full run-down of the menu, complete with samples and advice, and was genuinely interested in our having a good experience. He even was sneaky enough to check out my husband's credit card and call him by name when we left. Next time I'm in the area, I'm stopping in again!

I really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious. I want to go back and try other options. This time I will go during the lunch special hours because regular prices are kinda up there but it was worth it. So if you're budget conscious & haven't tried it definitely do the specials. The place was very clean and carried a nice ambiance.

I've officially found my new lunch place! Even though, I went for dinner today and it was equally satisfying. I'm on a diet and this place is definitely diet friendly. I had the kubbideh platter which is ground sirloin and greek salad. The meat was so juicy and well-seasoned and the salad was extremely fresh. It comes with a yellow sauce which is delicious and a pita. It also came with rice...which I did not have!I did get a little taste though, and it was really yummy Basmati rice. Everything here is made to order so the food takes about 15 minutes. I also tasted the tomato soup which was creamy and delicious. They have baklava available. I will definitely be back to taste the hummus and grape leaves!

A close-by lunch place for us, and very good. I applaud the rather gutsy decision to open a Persian outlet in the variety-starved West. Looks like it's catching on with the health-conscious 'nabes - I hope so. Clean, comfortable, good vibe. Reasonable, if slightly high prices, but the freshness and quality more than makes up for it, yet to have a bad meal here after 5+ meals, and the kids like it (!!??) Meats are fresh, nicely marinated and not overcooked; love the chicken (Joojeh), and they also have new $6.95 lunch specials and now Falafel, which I will try on the next visit. The Sumac dust and chopped onion and tomato salad/relish are great. The hummus could use a little more flavor, but is fresh and clean-tasting. I'm tough on Middle Eastern places, since I've been spoiled, and I keep coming back here...

  • Jenny T.

I absolutely love this place. No matter what I try, it is all delicious. From their rice platters to the baklava, it is delicious. The only thing I would recommend to everyone is to call ahead and place your order before going. That way once you get there it wold be ready, rather than waiting a while for the food. I'm hoping they can set up their online ordering soon.

I stopped by here for lunch after finding the place online during a search for places in Miami that serve falafel. I had a little bit of a hard time finding the place since I couldn't see it from the road in the strip mall. I walked inside and the place wasn't busy, but was very clean, which I liked very much. I spent about 15 seconds looking at the menu when I was "greeted" by a woman working at the counter. Unlike some of the other reviews, this woman was not really the most helpful. I got the idea that she was not too happy about being there or about how long I was taking to decide what I wanted. I admit, I'm a little indecisive, but it's not like there was a huge line or anything! Anyway, here's what I tried: Hummus: got way too much - it was separated and too cold and hard to get the pita in at first. It was okay, but not great. Falafel: Four pieces included in the order, lukewarm at best, flavor good, but the outside wasn't crispy (this might be my personal preference) Shrimp with rice: not bad, not great. The yellow sauce helped the rice but there were some pretty salty parts in the rice I ate. I spent $22 on what I ordered and I think that was a bit much for what I got. The shrimp with rice dish at Torange in Coral Gables is much better AND the service is better. I would try one of the wraps if I'm in the area next time, but I hope the woman in the front has a smile and better attitude the next time I go back.

My husband and I went to get some takeout after a weekend full of eating junk food. I had eaten at their Brickell location before and LOVED it. Despite the fact that my husband and my parents are much more skeptical when it comes to Persian food, they decided to trust me and they were glad that they did! The gentleman who took our order was great! He made some recommendations and even let us try some of the items before ordering. One of which was lentil soup, which I do not typically like, but theirs is incredible. We ordered a couple combos, and a Greek salad to share. Everything was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be going back! However, it was sad to see this place was not as packed as it should be.

This place is clean, has great customer service and good food. For being a franchise I think it's done pretty well in West Kendall. Their other locations are near the beach and near more "hip" Miami spots. The red meat served here is juicy and flavorful, but I found the chicken to be a bit dry. The seasoned rice is good. They use a white sauce that is AMAZING and brings everything together especially in the wraps! Often times ethnic foods are more pricey than others and it's because the quality of food is higher. This place is good however if you want to stay in Kendall I prefer Shawarma on Kendall and 137th ave and if you don't mind the drive and want REAL mediterranean food, go to Oriental Bakery and Grocery Co (1760 SW 3rd Ave). It will blow you away with authenticity!!! :)

First time at a Persian fast food restaurant. I came for lunch, the experience was nice. Very clean and fresh looking. Easy to order from menu on wall. Service very helpful. The wrap was flavorful as well as the Sirloin with rice. Also they have a nice selection of sugar free desserts!

Perfect middle-eastern food that hits the spot! After originally trying their Doral location, I was in a quick hurry around the Kendall area and decided to give this place a go. I've tried their chenjen and wraps (flavorful and perfect with cucumber yogurt), as well as their perfectly delicious rice (not your ordinary bland rice), their incredibly fresh Greek salad and my favorite cucumber yogurt and hummus! The staff is friendly, portions are great and the food is flavorful and filling. They also have great lunch specials! I recommend this place to anyone who really enjoys great middle eastern food and doesn't want to break the bank.

I have been to this place just once, but can't wait to go back. The chicken was very tasty and the veggie platter was delicious. I did think it was kinda pricey for the type of food, but not too bad considering it's fresh and healthy.
