I used to come here a lot when I was studying at Miami Dade. I recently went back for a post work out meal and was worried that maybe the quality may have gone down since my last visit. I was so relieved when I bit into my bagel this morning and it was just as good as I remembered. The bagels here are fresh and so soft! I had mine with eggs and cheese inside. The thing was huge I don't think I can eat again 'till dinner after that. The staff are friendly fast. They talk to you, take your order and have you munching down on that bagel faster than you can say Philadelphia! So when faced with the alternatives that this shopping center has to offer my first choice will always be these outrageous bagels!

Unfortunately.... I walked in for an egg sandwich and walked out with a nightmare! Let me start by first saying I am a big fan of the egg special sandwich and have never before had any issues thith this establishment. And just wanted to post my experiencebecause of how unsettled I left feeling. Monday morning,a very nice girl takes my order for an EGG SPECIAL on a salt bagel and a coffee. Waited for my order, left the store and drove to work. Upon opening my sandwich theres no egg. OK, so people make mistakes. Annoyed but starving I drive back to the location and ask for a manager. And this is where the nightmare begins! The woman behind the counter that claimed to be the manager asks what it is I need. I explain how I was just there and placed this EGG special order but there was no egg. This so called managers response to me was "Well I didnt take this order!" I then look at her, shocked at her "managing/customer service skills/response" and explain that I never said she did! It seems she took the wrong order to heart and proceeds to tell me i should calm down that its just a sandwich! Excuse me? I couldnt believe how this so called manager was handeling this scenario and could I could care less about my sandwich at this point. I feel like I went in there level headed and the acting manager took such offense to my complaint that she handled it horribly. She then elevates her voice and spews uneducated comments about how they are not slaves there and she doesnt have to do anything i say! Lol, no wait, If u have given bad service and the customer requests the money back are u 1,a slave...uh no and 2, arent u supposed to give them the refund?? Seeing myself lose control I step back and wait for her to process the refund on my card all while she is talking badly about me and the scenario to whomever she can, customers and staff included. Basically taunting me as I sit and wait. I was in aww of how the situation was handled. She tells me she cant refund my card so I said even better then give me the cash. She then says she needs to check her records and i remind her I handed her the receipt with my card originally. This woman was a mess.I wanted out of there as bad as she wanted me out of there and she was so frazzled that she continued to make the matter worse. She then throws my money across the counter at me and continues yelling irradically at me as I walked out the door. Best part... I can never go back. I dont think thats going top be an issue after this experience. I too am in customer service in a managerial position and have never witnessed such poor service and irate reaction to a simple complaint. Clearly this woman should not b allowed to work with the public. It was an Unfortunate start to a Monday.

I've been going to Outrageous Bagels for years, and I love it. Huge selection of bagels (I especially love the French Toast) and yummy smoothies. Service is always friendly. :)

Best bagel in town! The Asiago Cheese Bagel with cream cheese is amazing.

BEST breakfast in Kendall hands down, fresh real cooked ingredients and super delicious.. And affordable . (I can't get enough of the bacon egg and cheese croissant) just don't go anytime after 2:30 if you're looking for any hot food. you'll get the worst faces from the employees(except for pepi at the front she's great and makes it much less awkward) They close the grill early even though the place closes at 4:30 so DONT expect any hot food. Just cold.

I've been coming here since I was a little girl. This place has been around since as long as I can remember and that should honestly tell you a lot about a place. I am honestly never disappointed. Because it is a bagel place I usually stick to bagels, but everything on the menu is great. Their smoothies are refreshing, and let's not even talk about the iced coffee. They know me already and will usually have my iced coffee waiting for me as soon as I walk in. The service is friendly and just always on point. There is honestly nothing bad I can say about this place! My favorite bagel would have to be the spinach and swiss, and the open faced nova.... Mmm. Just writing this review is making me hungry, I might have to go there now. Guys don't even hesitate to go!

My favorite breakfast/bagel place in town. The bagels are so fresh and the service is always so pleasant! The smoothies are great too! Everything is just so great!

Great place for a quick breakfast at a neighborhood bagel shop. The ambience is very simple and plain. I went here twice within two weeks of each other this past month and had a good experience both times. The staff is very friendly and offered great customer service. They offer all different types of bagels and sandwiches. The first time I went I had an everything nova and plain cream cheese bagel. It was the nicest presentation I had ever seen. It was tasty... But the nova tasted a little off... I still ate it though and I was fine. The second time I went I ordered an everything bagel with chive cream cheese. The bagel was delicious but it tasted like the chives were in the cream cheese too long. This time I found out that the minimum on a credit card was $5 so I had to order an iced coffee too. The iced coffee was pretty good. I would definitely go back here if I was in the area and wanted a homemade bagel versus Einsteins. I'm curious to try the nova bagel and cream cheese again to see if I have the same experience.

Exceptional place to indulge your bagel cravings. Don't be deceived by the mundane cream cheese bagel, this location serves unique and delicious bagels in every conceivable combination. I ordered an excellent pastrami bagel which was accompanied by their complimentary house brew blend of coffee.

Great breakfast place with very good customer service! They're probably best known for their bagel sandwiches and wide variety of bagels. I highly recommend the pumpkin bagel, my favorite. They work quickly and even though there's always a line, they do a great job of keeping the flow going. Worth the wait by the way! Pros: Bagel selection, breakfast sandwich however you want it, customer service, speed. Cons: people get way too close in line (that's all I could think of) Check it out!

I've been coming to Outrageous Bagels ever since i started working around this area. The office gets bagels from here at least twice a month. They have many different cold and hot beverages. Their hot chocolate is one amongst the best selections for hot drinks. Their iced café mocha is also very good. They have a huge selection of bagels which can also be made into sandwiches. They also offer a whole variety of baked items and salads.

There's very few times when you walk into a place and forget where you're at, this is that kinda place. Located in Kendall you'll be amazed at the great customer service and incredibly fresh and delicious breakfast. Not crowded at all and the few people that were in there seem like regulars. They have everything from breakfast to sandwiches to smoothies and even have Boba Tea. We were very pleased with our breakfast today and will return again without a doubt.

LOVE THIS PLACE. It's overall a nice, simple place to get breakfast/brunch. The details about the food/beverages they serve are what make this place extra special and I wish it was in NYC instead. Usually, restaurants specialize in a particular dish or beverage, etc. and everything else is average or poor in quality. Not this place!! They have a variety of bagel flavors - including french toast?!?! what?? They have lox, eggs, cream cheese, a variety of other cheeses, pan de bono, croissants, sausage, bacon, avocado, basically any breakfast/brunch food you can think of and it's prepared very well. Now for the beverages! They have coffee, tea, different espresso drinks and even bubble tea!! Places like this generally don't serve so many specialty drinks, it's usually just regular drip coffee. So I was super excited about their variety. This is where I had my first colada (cafe cubano, whatever it's called). This is the espresso drink with raw cane sugar mixed in as the espresso comes out. It was fabulous and once again, I wish I could get that here in NY. Finally, the people who work there are very welcoming and make you feel like you've been their friend for years (not in the "I'm going to tell you all my awful personal shit" kind of way, but more in the "oh it's so good to see you! I like having a nice chat with you" kind of way). I particularly remember the second time I went there when I had a nice little chat with the woman taking my order. She was very sweet. Overall, this place is THE place for breakfast/brunch. I wish I had only gone here for breakfast while on vacation.

GREAT bagels! Always so fresh! Great variety for any kind of bagel lover. The sandwiches on the bagels are also spectacular. They have a good menu over all and a lot to choose from. The staff is always super friendly and remember you if you are a regular.

Rude staff when they are about to close at 4:30 pm!!!!!! Pan de bono extra hard. I would rather had them explain to me they were closing and sell bagels to go instead of being rude and inpatient with customers that wanted to try their products. Not coming back for hard bread.

Great bagels! This location is close to my house and I'm always on the hunt for new places to try for breakfast. This place has really good bagels, coffee is good, pastries are fresh menu selection is good they have something for everyone. My husband had the eggs white omelette with mushrooms and spinach and he loved it. My breakfast was also good egg omelet with bacon and cheese.

  • Dan M.

I have nothing bad to say about this place! When you think bagel coffee shop this is what comes to mind. Shoulder high counter fresh assortment of bagels, different flavored cream cheese and TVs to watch the news. I always get their bacon, egg, cheese with bagel huge portion. Only suggestion is coffee mugs instead of styrofoam.

I've lived by this place for years and have never been. I finally went when I yelp searched breakfast places around here when I was craving a croissant breakfast sandwich. Can't believe it's taken me years to find this hidden gem. Croissant egg, cheese, bacon sandwich and hot chocolate made with real milk all day, everyday

  • Ansen S.

My office gets their bagels quite frequently and this was the 1st time i went to their location. Pros: Bagel selection and Bagel taste! Cons: Says free coffee on the menu and they charged me $2 which would be ok but THE COFFEE IS BAD. They had a real hard time with keeping it clean while we were there, and their menu is really all over the place. Overall: if your going to pick up some bagels and cream cheese its ok but ITS NOT A NY DELI BAGEL SHOP so don't think you're gonna find that hidden NY bagel shop. however, they have some good stuff and its perfect for pickup.

South Florida has the 3rd largest Jewish population in the United States, which could be why Curb Your Enthusiasm is a top-rated show and Woody Allen films stay sold out in Miami. So why do I have to try so damn hard to get a decent bagel around here?! So I started a now defunct bread-centric site to help those in need. "Pop" for my favorite poppyseed flavor and "Schmear" for my #1 topping, chive cream cheese. Questionable as the name was, the intentions for my bagel blog were pure. Here's why OBC wouldn't be a top contender for Miami's bagel championship -- The entrance is like busy 4-way intersection. During rush hour. In a blizzard. Hungry people are trying to get in and order, full people are trying to toss their rubbish and stow their trays and the rest are just trying to get outta there...all in one lane. Once you've pushed through the Times Square New Year's Eve crowd to get to the cashier, you understand why they're so much confusion, the menu is illegible. On a digital screen there's a constantly refreshing page with 8-point font and a distracting graphic with popping bubbles and coffee bean cascades. 20 minutes after I ordered some stoner starts yelling out 420 and with each repetition his face gets more red, his voice more raspy. I check my ticket and see more numbers than a calculus final but no 420. He finally yells out my order -- "Guava bagel, honey-almond schmear and a cappuccino!!!" Cappuccino isn't usually a glass of steamed milk with no noticeable coffee flavor and plain, as in not honey-almond schmear I ordered, cream cheese doesn't usually give me a brain-freeze. It was like biting into a frozen key lime pie but...dat bagel doe.... The fruit flavor wasn't overpoweringly sweet and finished with some mild tartness; the crust gave just enough tension to split open and reveal the chewy center. Just thinking about it makes me want to jump in a bounce house full of Bialys. Of course it was barely toasted. If you want to unfunday your Sunday go right at noon, you'll have an outrageous experience. I would recommend getting bagels to-go and thawing your spread beforehand and not bothering with any other aspect of their operation. If you can find out who their baker is, let me know so we can start an underground bagel smuggling ring, much like when I lived in New York and drank illicitly procured but fresh unpasteurized milk. Egregious Bagel Company is still much beloved by friends and family so maybe they run a tighter ship during the weekdays. I'd try them again if I'm ever in Kendall for breakfast. Which is never.

great bagel shop with friendly service. I absolutely love having this place so close to home! the have soooo many bagel options and a huge menu with everything from bubble tea and smoothies to croissants and obvious bagels. they were even open on Christmas morning which was so awesome to be able to run over and pick up freshly baked bagels and croissants for our brunch.

I love their Croissant with eggs, bacon and cheese. The also have all kind of bagels for you to choose from. I also love their orange juice. The service was excellent and everything was fresh and hot. I will be returning. Next time, I plan to have a toasted plain bagel with eggs, cheese and bacon.

To be honest this place wasn't anything special at least it wasn't anything I couldn't have made myself at home. Which is what I usually look for when I go out to eat. The place is quaint but let's face it a place atmosphere can only take it so far. The food was a bit flavorless which reminded me of highschool lunches but hey I can find myself here again but not out urgency.

On our way to The Falls we craved some mid-morning bagels. What a great choice we made to come here! The owner was great - ensured we got what we ordered and was on top of everything! The bagels themselves were very tasty - had the everything bagel with egg white, spinach and feta! The freshly squeezed orange juice was fantastic too! It was full of people when we got there - clearly a favourite of the locals (which is a great sign)!

Came here for breakfast one early morning before work and didn't realize McDs was gone. I have fallen in love with their breakfast special, bagel with cream cheese and nova, eggs and a coffee for 6.99. And they always give me more eggs than I can eat.

Outrageous disorganization and bland food. Came here for a late morning breakfast on a Saturday and walked into a chaotic, cramped space, even though there were only 5 customers in the joint. Asiago bagel (bland and not fresh) was delivered without cream cheese, and then it took 3 workers shuffling through receipts to confirm that cream cheese could be provided. Thanks for the cream cheese...10 min later. I would avoid this place.

This place is ok. The bagel is no big deal. The coffee sucks. There are so many things on this menu. Sunday breakfast is not so bad. Well...... Atleast better then most restaurants in the area. Overall I'll only come for a bagel if I'm really craving it. And only pick up. It's a small restaurant and seating is limited especially on a Sunday.

After my bad experience 20 mins earlier I spotted this bagel joint on the way home. I wish I didn't. Same old crap. I even went with a cinnamon-French toast bagel (never heard of it before) to "help" it. Didn't work. Another crappy bagel. But I'll keep searching.

If you want a fresh, great bagel with delicious and creamy cream cheese and a great cup of coffee, look no further than Outrageous Bagel Company. This stand alone store is a great place for fast and friendly food. They have all the standards, plain bagels, onion bagels, pumpernickel, sourdough, and some unusual ones, black russian and cinnamon sugar. Same goes for the schmears, plain, veggie, lox, and even strawberry. (My four year old LOVES the strawberry cream cheese on the cinnamon sugar bagel - it's like dessert for breakfast!) They also make great sandwiches on the bagels. My current favorite is whitefish salad on a sesame bagel with all the veggies. My husband is a big fan of the tuna melt. Also stop here for some really delicious smoothies as well. Made with or without added sugar to order, you can't go wrong. One small note: This place is located directly BELOW a Bally's Fitness. Then banging you hear coming from above is probably folks dropping their weights in order to get downstairs to have some breakfast.

I've been here a couple of times and really like the sandwiches and service. They offer a variety of options, from smoothies and bubble tea to wraps and of course bagels. I like their turkey and cheese cossiant with (freshly squeezed) orange. Opens at 6:30a, which is great. Not a bad location in Kendall. Can't wait to try out more from their menu.

Have been coming here at least once a week since '97 and have always been completely satisfied with the staff and food. My favorite meal is chicken salad with the works, bagel chips, large wilberry breeze smoothie, and three fudge scrumptions for desert. When I feel like eating healthier, I eat an Outrageous Salad with a chicken breast, spinach, feta cheese, walnuts, and raspberry viniagerette dressing. I wash it down with a Pineapple Pizzazz smoothie with Myoplex protein. Since the food is so tasty, there are times that you may have to wait in line for ten minutes. But the food and smoothies are definitely worth the wait!

My husband and I stumbled upon this place a few months ago and were hooked. I am originally from NY and felt like we finally found a good bagel place. We now find ourselves here a few times a month. Their bagels are top notch and they have so many varieties. They have amazing croissants, my favorite is the spinach with feta cheese, while my sons is their chocolate one. They have ruggela that is amazing, too! We also like that they will add supplements (protein powder, vitamins, etc.) to any smoothie or shake for free.

All I can say is guava bagel!!!! When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised to see a variety of bagels. Some not so common. My eyes did a double take when I saw guava as a flavor for bagels. I must try! For any lovers of pastelitos, this tastes so much like it, it shocks me. They won me over when I saw their orange juice maker. Fresh squeezed oj is my #1 for breakfast! The service here has always been great for me. They women behind the counter have been super nice and polite with me. They have even hooked it up from time to time ;)

We love this bagel joint! The variety and freshness of the food is what keeps me going back there every week. They offer several breakfast selections, several bagels, croissants, sandwiches, you can add cold cuts, chicken breast , all sort of vegetables to it, modify, whatever your belly desires they can arrange for you. They offer all for lunch too, including salads. Their salads are great too, I recommend the spinach chicken raspberry and their Greek salad, not to mention their selection of treats.. I got my entire office hooked on it, my fiancée and I eat there practically everyday. By the way, outstanding customer service. Everyone is extremely nice and polite. The place is clean, the food is fantastic, fresh and tasty. Price is right too. Go There!

I went to Outrageous Bagels for the first time last Saturday and I loved it! The selection of bagels is great and it was hard to choose one at first. Robert, the owner suggested a Nova Salmon on a Sunflower seeds bagel and it was delicious! I also had the coconut smoothie with tapioca and fruit bubble bursts.... it's addictive!! The atmosphere is friendly and casual, the staff was very friendly... made me feel very comfortable. It's a little out of the way for me, but I'll definitely go back as soon as I get a chance.

Simple bagel and coffee place, with some above average cream cheese (buy a tub). Everything else is good, but more costly than the comparable at chains like Panera (Panera's coffee is better though). If I was in the area, I would stop by again, but, as the two star rating helpfully says...

  • Jay S.

This is a nice spot. If your looking for an authentic New York style bagel shop just like the deli spots in the BIG apple - here it is! They have the biggest bagels I've seen here in Miami, generously portioned with cream cheese or whatever you like in between. Egg salad, chicken salad, you name it! Bada Bing!

  • Kiah T.

This little joint is definitely worth it as a treat every so often. I was pestered over and over by a friend to try the everything bagel topped with smoked salmon, capers, onions, tomato and cream cheese. I never have been a fan of lox, but I am converted. It is delicious and I always have to share, but that's also because when I'm there I have to get everything that looks good...no wonder it's such a treat for me ;-D

My girlfriend and I love this place and often get breakfast here just about every weekend. I've never eaten sandwiches or anything else here, but the bagels are definitely outrageous. They are huge and 2 people could split one if need be. My favorite is the Everything bagel with Scallion cream cheese. I have been with others that have ordered other breakfast items (eggs, etc.) and they have all said that it was excellent.

I had the bonus of living at my parents' house down the street from Outrageous Bagels until I was 23, so it's safe to say that I've been a patron of this establishment for more years than I can remember. Just went today after years of having not visited and, no, not for bagels. Instead, I stopped by for a lunch something...I wasn't sure. I ended up getting a white fish wrap...and, of course, I ended up buying a bag of yesterday's bagels, too. As usual, delicious delicious yumminess for a great price...not to mention, I know that, for the next week, I'll have a stock of some of the best bagels I could find for $3.75. I think I've had almost everything there that I can eat given my dietary habits and everything I've had there is great. For years, I would stop there for a breakfast burrito (vegetarian) before work on the weekend and I have to say, I miss it super hardcore. Today's wrap for lunch was totally superb. Sans any mayo or mustard, it was deeeelish as was. Gotta love this place. Always recommending it. Even if just for the bagels. I mean, you can't beat the bagels.

  • Michelle D.

By far one of the best bagel's in Miami. Not fake or generic tasting like the chain places and def twice the size. As odd as this may sound, try the guava bagel with cream cheese... AMAZINGLY YUMMY! And lunch, I like the Pizza Bagel... Oh how I wish you were open late night!

Alright I'm downgrading this updated review to a 3.5. Come on yelp.....give us 1/2 star options! Anyhow, their bagels still rock my socks but my oh my does the smoked salmon suck. I used to come here religiously to get my fix and then the quality changed one day and I never went back. Well today my boyfriend swung by and got me some to go as a surprise and it's still as poor quality as it was the last time I tried it which was rather disappointing. However, they are called "Outrageous bagels" not "Outrageous smoked salmon," so I'll let it slide. Their smoothies are pretty good and their bagels are still the best I've had in Miami.

Great spot for fresh bagels. Awesome bagel sandwiches too! This is as close as you're gonna get to a NY bagel in Miami.
