I'm a pizza lover and wow what a great find. It's clean, affordable, and offers excellent service. However, above all, is their yummy pizza that makes it great ! I'm a lover of pepperoni pizza, it's my favorite, and I was not disappointed, can't wait to go back for some more. I'm definitely going back with some friends and sample the basil pizza, it looked so good! I highly recommend Flipping Pizza, you will not be disappointed!

We are so happy we decided to try this place out! Wings are great, beer on tap is COLD. Service was wonderful. Pizza is also very good we had the brooklyn and pepperoni both were good. Just what was needed to compliment the area! Try it out.

So I came in for a few slices and while my pizza was ok, it wasn't as good as I would've liked. The group next to me got a whole pizza that looked a lot better. I think if you order a whole pizza, whether to go or to eat in, its better than to get pizza by the slice which is ruined a bit when re-heated.

Pretty good pizza! I really like the thin crust and light amount of cheese. It wasn't super greasy and heavy. We got the veggie. We also ordered a small Mediterranean salad that was very good. They definitely don't skimp on the salad toppings. The garlic knots left something to be desired. They were ok but kind of dry. Also, they have to come back and deliver twice since they forgot our garlic rolls. All-in-all, it's good pizza. I would order from them again.

I ordered the following pizza by the slice : - Tomato basil garlic - Triboro And - Garlic knots (just like garlic bread) The tomato basil garlic was delicious,it was light yet tasty. As far as the triboro which is a combination of three meats was disappointing, it lacked flavor. But what was even more disappointing was the garlic knots, they taste like out of a box and were served cold, I really don't recommend ordering this.

I live in downtown dadeland, so usually I'd just walk down to pick up food, except today it was raining... so I decided to order delivery. How long could it possibly take I'm a 2 minute walk away, right? I ordered via Eat24 at 10pm, over 80 minutes have passed and surprise... no pizza. After calling the store multiple times they finally answered the phone and contacted the driver. Surprise, surprise, the driver didn't answer his phone. The guy working at the store told me I could contact Eat24 for a refund. I've waited over 80 minutes, I don't want a refund, I just want my damn pizza. What's funny is that they close at midnight and I may not have my pizza by then. Do not deliver from this place.

like i said, i don't eat pizza in Miami. far and few between good pizza and this is one of them. went back last week and ordered a pizza and ate it right out of the oven. thin crust, great flavor, not greasy and nice cheese. additionally, the Mediterranean salad is really good, huge with lots of ingredients and a perfect dressing. took leftover home to husband, heated up the oven to 410 and cooked for 5 min - he was in heaven (rule: NEVER heat up pizza in a microwave - gross)

Pretty good pizza slices. They are friendly. If you put enough salt on the pizza it tastes ok. I suppose there are not many food options in Dadeland. So we should be happy for this pizza?

Randomly stopped by one day, friendly and nice workers. Cheese pizza was amazing! A little bit addicted to it right now. Highly recommend to anyone that loves pizza. They play great music too, decorated nicely with lots of posters. Almost forgot, they have student discount and a $7 deal that includes two GINORMOUS slices and a soda.

Had this pizza at the Pinecrest Gardens Chilli Cook Off. It was great! - crispy thin crust, great flavour etc. Ordered delivery and it was good but a bit soggy in the middle. Could be because we ordered the veggie pizza & the travel... Still one of the best delivery pizza's we have had in Miami. It is not a good delivery scene :( Will reorder and reevaluate - I really want to give it a 5 ...

I never write negative reviews but man we were disappointed we waited almost two hours for our pizza then we got it and it was cold. Needless to say we will not be returning

Just an Update on my last review. Yes the pizza's are great, they don't make you feel bad after you eat three slices. But make sure you order you Garlic Knots after you have eaten your pizza because not once have we gotten them before the pizza.

Pretty good food and plenty of options to sit outside, play pool or watch the game. The staff takes good care of the folks there.

The week I discovered this place I gained 5 pounds because I couldn't stop going. Im from NJ so I'm a bit of a pizza snob. Miami pizza can't even be called pizza, it's all terrible. But this place has been my shining light! It tastes the way good pizza is supposed to taste! I absolutely love it! And the pies are actually huge. Great prices, great pies, great taste. You can't beat that.

  • Joe C.

It's not bad, but still "chain quality" pizza. New Yorkers would laugh at you for associating this with their pizza. But it beats the usual delivery suspects, and good enough for Miami.

Great pizza; unfortunately they don't know how to manage their business. You don't advertise, & you close earlier than all your competitors. I predict a life span of another 6-months to a year. Morons.

This establishment opened yesterday and of course I was excited to try them. I have to say the service is good. Servers are friendly and will have your food hot and ready at a decent pace. For this and this alone, I give this place 3 stars. Now lets talk about the food. I tried the Pepperoni Pizza. You can't go wrong with this choice, right? I soon realized the answer. You seriously can. Their flyer has it listed and I'm quoting them here "The best Pepp on the planet.... Seriously" If this is the best, I need to live on another planet.... Seriously! The pepperonis' were very small and the pizza was dripping with grease (photo included in this review) with no more flavor than an Elio's frozen pizza. At least it was cheap and thankfully I only ordered 2 slices. I had the strongest heartburn of my life afterwards. I strongly recommend that if you want to try this place, order one slice at a time. Maybe the food will get better. I will give them another opportunity in a few months. At $2.75 a slice, it's the least I can do. I do want to see this place succeed. As a huge pizza lover, having them close to home is a great benefit.

This, by far, is the best New York style pizza in Miami. I have been here already 3x and each time the pizza taste better. I cannot comment on the sides like wings and garlic rolls because I just come in for pizza. But on the pizza, its right on with staff hand tossing right in front of you. Toppings or just plain, you cant go wrong. If I can compare it to another pizza, it resembles the Big Cheese, buts its thinner and the sauce is a bit tastier. Big Cheese pizza is a good pizza, but Flippin Pizza is my new favorite.

  • Alessandra P.

I'm really not a fan of Flippin' Pizza. The area is Downtown Dadeland and is right across from Lime. The restaurant itself looks great and different. But the pizza itself was alright. It was hard to cut into it and by a couple of minutes the pizza got cold. I've heard the women restroom looks cool but I never went in it. Maybe I'll go back just because the price rang for pizza isn't bad compare to other pizza restaurants.

This place is FLIPPIN' AWESOME! Excuse the corniness, I had to lol Had the pepperoni and cheese pizza- DELICIOUS. The crust is so perfectly crispy. Toppings perfect. Tried the pepperoni bites and it was great!! Like mini Stromboli bites. Had the garlic twists too. Dipped everything in their garlic oil because it was so good!!!! Friendly guy brought out Stromboli to sample and it was really good too! I'll probably get that next time lol Prices are great. Staff was friendly and attentive. Nice seating outdoor and indoor. Will definitely come back!!!

A great choice for a quick pizza or wings at a reasonable price when you're in the area. It's a quick-service restaurant and doesn't pretend otherwise. Compared to others in this category, it's above average. Flippin' is a small family-owned chain from California. The guys behind the counter seem to care more than your average chain pizza joint. Case in point: apparently they are supposed to cook the wings for 8 minutes according to the 'home office'. However, they've found that cooking it slightly lower and until 12 minutes results in crispier wings... and therefore they go ahead and do that. In fact, you might want to ask for their "12 minute wings" and give them a kick (if you like crispy skin). The pizza itself is well done, with a nice, crispy thin crust. Also, they make it a point that they don't use high-fructose corn syrup, and no added oil or sugar. They claim this results in up to 40% less carbs. These claims, I'm sure, are directly targeting the big pizza chains that often use many of the tricks common in processed corporate food to create taste with lower grade ingredients. I will say that while very crispy when first made, the crust doesn't hold up as well as some when eating it the next day. They recommend heating it in an oven or toaster oven, never a microwave, and make this a big point on the take-home box. Finally, the decor is nicely done, slick and modern -- with cool wall decor that integrates "Flippin' Pizza" into classic rock and movie posters. Did I mention they also have a retro video-game table that cycles between bar and arcade classics like "Ms. Pac-Man", "Donkey Kong", "Frogger" etc.? So all in all, Flippin' Pizza is a good time, with a friendly staff and excellent service.

Very good pizza. This one does taste similar to NY pizza unlike all those imposters around Miami Dade county advertising NY style pizza (shame on them). This pizza tastes fresh and bends at the sides just like NY pizza does (love having to reach for the cheese as it slides off the thin crust...yuuuum). Good cheat day food.

Love this pizza spot in downtown dadeland. For $7 you can two slices and a soda. A perfect lunchtime spot. They also have fresh made salads and they serve wine and draft and bottle beers. They have traditional cheese and pepperoni slices as well as some of their own house slices. The tomato basil and garlic and the pesto slices are my favorite. They have garlic knots with marinara sauce too. The ambience is nice and the pics on the wall around the place keep you entertained while munching. They have a couple TV's too. On Thursday nights they have $4 beers and live music. I gotta check that out one of these days. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Plus you get a parking validation so u can park in the underground parking free. The pizza is crispy and not over oiled or thick. It's yummy!!!

The pizza is good and cheap. Kind of reminds me of NYC pizza joints (I guess that's the point though). They do have a limited selection and a couple of good craft beers on tap, so if you want to enjoy a couple of slices with decent beer come here and spend very little $$$.

Delicious. I had the plain cheese pizza and garlic rolls. Simple. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese and the crust was crispy. I ordered to go and the young lady at the counter was friendly. I explained I had never been there and she took the time to explain everything to me without me feeling rushed. I showed her that on my Yelp app it said that any order over $7 got free garlic rolls and she didn't know anything about it but still honored it.

A great addition to Downtown Dadeland in my opinion. I went with my SO on a Monday around 2/3 and it was pretty empty. We ordered a whole pie (Triboro which has pepperoni sausage and meatball but isnt too overwhelming.) The seating inside is nice but we chose a table outside. Our pizza was out in 15-20 min and was it delicious and HUGE. Their deal of 2 slices and 1 drink for $7 is great because it is more than enough for 1 person. The pizza didn't leave us feeling icky afterward which is a plus for me. Fresh tasting and a yummy crust! We will definitely be returning.

Decently good pizza with great delivery around the Dadeland area. The cheese pizza was honestly a little bland but i love that fact that they use mostly natural ingredients and NO SOY in their pizza. Hallelujah :)

Recently placed an order for our coaches after an event. We ordered 7 pizzas.. Quoted 45min delivery, 1:45 mins later, we had to call to cancel as pizzas where neither delivered or offered any apology other than they had a bigger order ahead of us.

First timer and super satisfied. Delicious pizza! - 2 slices with a drink is $7 aka a steal. The pizza is thin, crispy and super tasty. Will be coming back :)

Delicious pizza! Tried the tomato basil and buffalo chicken and both are so good I'm almost tempted to go for another round. A great spot to come on break and get away from work stress and enjoy good music and food. Service was spot on and helpful in selecting my lunch.

Food is great but the service is not! Ordered a pie and it's been an hour with no delivery, when I called to inquire, the lady said I know and hung up the phone! This will be my last pizza from this establishment!

I didn't even know this place existed before I went. We actually went to WOB across the street and decided to eat pizza here. The pizza was delicious and the service was amazing. I ordered some beers from WOB and ate at the restaurant. I didn't realize my beer had a cork inside and I didn't have a cork screw. Christopher and the young lady in the front went out of their way to go to WOB and bring me cork screw!! I didn't even ask them to do that. I was honestly so surprised and happy that they went out of their way to make my visit a great one. I appreciate the great service especially since great service is rare in Miami. I would definitely go back! TWO THUMBS UP!

LOVE! I'm not much of a pizza fan but I'll make an exception for them. The pizza is just DELISH! Their location is ideal, prices are beyond reasonable and the place is perfect to catch up with friends. It's a shame that not enough people know about it, but I would definitely recommend!
