Zoes Kitchen recently opened a new location in the St Johns Town Center, and they invited me to come and check it out. The restaurant is located along Gate Parkway next to Sweet by Holly (in the old Qdoba spot). We ordered our food then spoke with the manager Hunter for a little bit. He mentioned that this location is one of their new design concepts. The front counter has a pass through where you can see the kitchen and they use open fire grills to cook their meat. The restaurant was nice and open, and even had an outdoor patio section. I also found out that they have a new app where you can scan your receipt to earn free food on your next visit! How cool is that?! We weren't expecting it, but they brought out some Hummus for us to snack on while we were waiting on the food. I'm really glad they did because it was delicious!! I always judge places on their hummus, and Zoes passed with flying colors! It was super creamy and didn't have too much of a garlic taste like some have. I ordered the Steak Roll-ups with rice pilaf for my entree (sliced tri-tip, swiss, sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, dipping sauce). The beef was thin and very tender, and I really liked how the tortilla was cooked. It was a little crispy while still being soft in the middle. I absolutely loved these roll-ups! Also, the rice is unbelievably good! It is just simple rice, but they make it taste amazing! My husband got the Gruben (grilled turkey, swiss, slaw, spicy mustard, rye). He really enjoyed it and said that the spicy mustard really made the sandwich great! He also agreed with me that the rice is some of the best he has ever had! Verdict: Loved it!! The food was great and the employees were very friendly and helpful. I am so happy to finally have a Zoes close to home. I love how they are a healthier alternative to fast food at a great price! I'm sure that we will be in there once a week for either lunch or dinner!

Great Mediterranean food made in house. Surprisingly healthy and tasteful for a chain. Most, if not all the choices are healthy, but they are packed with flavor that won't disappoint. Also it doesn't leave you feeling overly full and sluggish when your done. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. What I ordered: Hummus trio with both regular and wheat pita - Absolutely delicious homemade hummus, especially when trying to find your favorite (the basil pesto is awesome!) Zoe's club pita - Fresh and plump with wonderful flavor. The mustard on it is the perfect compliment to this sandwich. Side of hot potato salad - Suggested by the employee behind the counter, this caught me off guard with its richness and flavor. Unsweetened hibiscus tea - A great substitute to plain unsweet tea.

Zoe's Tossed Greek salad is my favorite salad ever. It's my go to lunch. The chicken salad at Zoe's is something you could eat everyday. You can eat it alone, with pita chips or on bread. The staff at Zoe's is very friendly and always helpful. Zoe's is always willing to fix any mistakes they make. They also have an app where you can get free food after every visit.

I have to say that I was not all too impressed with this food establishment. I had high hopes given that so many people spoke highly of it. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable about their menu. The food was fresh as what they are known for but I had a few issues. The biggest one being that we ordered the family dinner. Yay family dinner, wrong! It was impossible to serve. They brought out all the food boxed up to go in catering dishes. Then the oversized containers made it impossible to move them around the table. Biggest disappointment in presentation ever. Then the salmon skewers that I purchased were dry. My husband literally used the words "choke down" the steak ones were okay, they probably needed a bit more seasoning. I also got a chocolate chip cookie which was amazingly delicious but I'm not sure if I'm willing to shell out $2 a cookie in the future. The hummus and pitas were good but I don't think anything better than what I can get from publix. The Greek salad was also tasty and full of feta but again nothing special. Their chicken salad also needed to be a bit creamier as it was on the dry side. The rice was... Well rice. What can I say. It was what it was. And to top it off the money I spent could have been spent elsewhere for more food and better quality.

Went to Zoes Kitchen tonight with wife and two friends. This is the second time we tried Zoes Kitchen, and I liked it ok. The food and service were pretty good. The price is a little on pricier side for a semi-fast food restaurant. The location is convenient if you are already at the Town Center. This time, we ordered the family meal which came with 10 kabobs of your choice and two sides for about $30. Not too bad, but just know that if you want to pick salmon, shrimp or steak, it's $1 extra for each. We decided to mix it up a bit just to try. The chicken was a little dry, the steak and shrimp kabobs are not bad. The salmon had little to no seasoning, which was a bit weird. The rice pilaf we opted for as sides was still pretty good. I liked it the first time we tried Zoes, so we ended up just getting two orders of rice as sides. We also decided to get a side of chicken salad to go because we liked it the first time. Overall, still pretty solid for a 'go to' restaurant when at or near Town Center area and want something fast and not so pricey.

I'm a devote customer for life!! Mike, who is always at the counter and endlessly cleaning up after customers, is an absolutely gentleman. Zoe's kitchen is so lucky to have a great manager like that. The staff exudes southern hospitality with a side of extreme courtesy. Like pita and humus, their staff and service goes hand in hand. Keep up the GREAT work, loves!

I've gone to Zoe's Kitchen quite a few times now, but had waited to write my review to ensure that the great experience I had the first time was consistent. Well, it has been. I have tried the egg salad sandwich, the grilled chicken and slaw pita, the chicken kabobs, and the Greek salad. Every one of these selections has been absolutely fresh and yummy, and the service has been very good. I love friendly faces. :-) Besides the fresh and healthy food, their app is awesome. Not only can you earn free stuff, but it also has a section on motivational sayings that just makes you smile. So now, when I'm not in the mood for my liquid lunch at Smoothie King, I head over to Zoe's.

I've been here twice - both times due to peer pressure, ha. The first time I went, I had a lot of expectations for this place. I ordered the chicken salad sampler and wasn't impressed. However, their pasta salad (without mayo) is very delicious! The second time I went, I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with a side of their pasta salad. Awesome! Their portions are fairly generous for the price and I loved the fact that I didn't leave feeling stuffed. Great place if you're looking for a healthy, inexpensive lunch.

This location is always busy. I only had take out here, but they gave me the wrong order! I believe it was a chicken dish with pita and olives. It was pretty good, just not what I ordered. I would return though (but I would take a look at my food before I left)

Ran out of both tuna and chicken salad before 1:30. Didn't find out until after waiting in line for 10 minutes.

I liked it. It can get busy and it seems like you wait forever for your food. So I really suggest you order an appetizer to help you wait if it's busy.

Excellent lunch spot. Clean, healthy, fresh. I've had over half the menu and it was all delicious. Favorites: Gruben, Grilled Chicken Greek Salad, Mediterranean Chicken, and any Kabob entree. Sufficient beer and wine selection, but nothing unique or extensive. Also, GREAT catering option.

I love Zoes! Always fresh, always delicious, light and healthy! Zoes is one of the few restaurants that look to see if ones near the hotel where I am staying when I travel!

This was my first time at Zoe's and I was delightfully surprised. I didn't have high expectations but really enjoyed my experience. I went around 1 on a Monday and the place was very busy. We sat outside under the covered patio which was perfect. I had the hummus and salad plate and a friend had the quinoa salad. Both were very good! They put the salad dressing on the tables and you add it yourself. It was light and not too overwhelming. This is a great place to come for a light lunch that you won't regret or feel guilty about later in the afternoon. The hummus was very good. I would come back just for that. You MUST download the Zoe's app! You take pictures of your receipts and they give you free stuff. It's brilliant. After my first visit I get a free "sports cup". Now, I'm not exactly sure what that is but I am excited to find out!

Wow! Love Zoe's for lunch or dinner - great menu with great selections. Sometimes I wish they would not nickel and dime you for things, but still great.

I love this place. The staff is friendly, place is neat and the food is light but tasty.

I went there with my niece and she is from Michigan where there is a lot of Medeteranian food. We both enjoyed it and it's decent priced. Only wish was pita was more authentic and hummus was on a bigger plate we got the biggest one they had. I would recommend the chicken over the steak. The steak was really chewy.

Been 3 times now. Each has been spectacular. From the kabobs to the salads everything is great. Took home a bottle of their Greek dressing today. Can't wait to put it on stuff!

FRESH AND DELICIOUS. Good Service too. I prefer take out but dine in is pretty good as well. If your trying to stay healthy, go here

I've been here three times and each time I am not disappointed :) yesterday, I got the shrimp kabob plate. It includes 2 kabobs, rice pilaf, Greek salad and pita bread. OMG it was so delicious and cooked perfectly. The rice was amazing, the Greek salad with Zoe's Greek dressing was perfect! I got the chocolate cake as well which was to die for. The icing was not too overwhelming which is usually what turns me off with cake. The cake itself was moist and dense..just perfect . Prices are great, atmosphere is clean and fun. They also serve wine and beer, winning :D

Just visited Zoës Kitchen's new location at the St. Johns Town Center the other day!! It was really crowded during the lunch hour and hard to find an open table. (Especially because my sweet 15 month old was passed out in the jogging stroller) The staff was so sweet in helping me scout out a table where I could slide my stroller so that my baby wasn't disturbed and could continue to nap. I ordered the egg salad sandwich and my friend ordered the hummus!! Both were fabulous!!! I also downloaded the app and for my first freebie!! Love this place and can't wait to go back!!

I've gone here several times now and recently tried their chicken salad with braised white beans (recommended by Dennis) , chocolate chip cookie, and limeade. I am impressed every time I come here. The cookie is delicious and I am usually not a bean eater but the white beans are good. The limeade is a little tart for my taste but I drank about over a quarter of a cup and filled the rest up with unsweet tea and I must say, it was one of the best Arnold Palmers I've had. I'm coming here to get one before every golf game. Try to Chicken Orza soup. It's amazing. I had it while I was sick and it was good comfort food.

For the longest time I was not a huge fan of Zoe's but this visit changed all that. First off, service was amazing despite the fact that it was "standing room only" busy. Tables were cleaned, food was delivered quickly and servers were smiling and helpful. How could I have missed this gem? I think my real issue with Zoe's was their pimento and cheese. I consider myself both a lover and a connoisseur of pimento and cheese and I just don't like their pimento or their cheese. And since I only go once a year, I forget that what I ordered last time and viola, I am in a Groundhog Day kind of time loop. So this time I got smart and ordered the Heavenly Chicken Salad. Okay it is not called heavenly, but I added that in myself, but man oh man was it good. I did not get to try the Greek chicken with feta or the kids menu item my daughter ordered, but it was very quiet while we ate. Just to insure that that I remembered what I ordered, I am me moralizing in this review.

Delish!!!! Yes go ahead try it...fresh, flavorful, fast food! This was my first time trying Zoe's, and I was impressed and ate everything on my plate!! ;) I got the chicken kabobs plate @$8.99..... Came with 2 kabobs, rice,Greek salad and some pita bread....the chicken was cooked perfect and was so good mixed with the veggies and rice! The salad served dry then you add their Greek dressing which was on the table. I want to go back just thinking about it writing this review!! :)

Excellent food!!! The chicken salad is very good however I got it for dinner and it was a little on the light side. I asked when I ordered if it would be enough food because I was pretty hungry. They assured me it was plenty of food. I probably should have noticed that the employees themselves were on the slim side and I should have ordered something more filling. Definitely will go back!!!

Yummy!! Honest to goodness real food yet fast. The hummus and warm pita are not to be missed. Grilled salmon and chicken were moist and flavorful. Opt for the limeade and you have a perfect healthy lunch. Enjoy!

My review below still stands but after a few more visits, it's gotta be 5 stars. The staff is always super friendly, the place is always clean, and the food is great. I braved this location once at lunch time during the week and I won't be doing that again. On weeknight evenings (the easiest time to hit the Town Center as a whole, imo), there is usually not much of a wait. I've tried quite a few other items on the menu at this point but my favorites are the chicken kabobs, greek salad, and the side of roasted vegetables. Don't forget to download the app and scan your receipts for goodies. I've got a cup of soup (that I just finished), a slice of cake (which I actually haven't used, trying to be "good"), hummus, quinoa salad, and more, all free. It's a great way to try different items on the menu.

I had lunch at Zoës Kitchen not by choice but just because my lunch party suggested it. I've always seen the place but had no desire to eat there seeing that Mediterranean food ain't really my thing. However, I was pleasantly surprised while I was there. Imagine that Panera went on vacation in Greece and met a Mediterranean chick and had a fling, well Zoës is the lovechild. That's the best way I can describe the place. I had the chicken kabob with macaroni salad and smashed potatoes and it was both appetizing and filling. Everything tasted fresh and healthy. Chicken was cooked almost perfectly and was seasoned to where the flavor is noticeable but not overpowering. Not bad Zoës.

We had some errands at town square and asking for lunch suggestions were told to try zoe#s kitchen. You order at counter and it comes to your table. We sat down outside under one of the large orange unmbrellas. I order chicken salad on multi grain with a side of Greek slaw...no mayo. He had a grilled ruibin

This is a great lunch spot. It is counter service and pretty quick. The food is really fresh and has a great Mediterranean flavor. The staff was helpful and friendly. I asked about the Braised White Beans and was given a sample right away. The beans were flavored with rosemary and delicious. My grilled chicken pita had a nice full chicken breast sliced down the center and filled with their homemade slaw. It was superb. Their slaw is not made with mayo, but cabbage, feta, scallions and their Greek vinaigrette. I also had a small sample of the hummus. Everything was very yummy!

Great fresh food! This is my third visit to Zoës Kitchen, first at this location. The fruit was tasty, the pimento cheese delicious and my hubby says the quinoa salad (he added salmon kabobs) was really good! I was impressed that the food was delivered with a smile to our table!

Delicious, fresh and so many healthy options! I loved my recent visit to Zoe's kitchen. It was my first time here and I had the salmon kebabs with Greek salad and roasted vegetables. Everything was delicious!! My kids enjoyed the turkey & cheese sandwiches (they didn't give us any trouble about not grilling it) and the chicken, mozzarella roll-ups with marinara dipping sauce. Loved that they offer kids fresh fruit salad instead of just chips as a side. The turkey and cheese sandwiches were served crust less (great for some, I'm sure!) and were a bit small, but overall we were thrilled to have found a tasty place where they make everything in-house. We'll be back!

Good service. Most of all the hummus was really good. The pita bread excellent. The kabobs ( beef) were kinda sweet maybe cuz am diabetic i can taste the sugars more than a regular person. Salmon and chicken kabobs were good. Greek salad delicious and the soups good. A little overpriced but at the end our meal was good. Good family atmosphere even though it looks like most customers are a little on the snob side. Other than that ill go back anytime.

Recently tried Zoes Kitchen over the weekend for late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I am no expert on Mediterranean cuisine, but everything we ordered was tasty. I had the steak roll ups and hubby ordered chicken kabob dinner. We both opted for Greek salad as a side. He also had rice with his platter. The steak roll ups was tasty. The chicken kabob was slightly on the dry side but the rice was excellent. We both loved the side of Greek salad and polished that off quickly. We've also took a tub of chicken salad to go and it was gone in no time. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and bright and the staff was very friendly. I think this is a great place to swing by for a quick bite when in the area.

Changing my review! Like I said earlier I was going to give this place a try again. I did today and ordered the steak roll up with quinoa and pasta salad. The order came really quickly! Yay! Steak roll ups were a SUPER SUPER WIN!! The tzakziki sauce it came with made it better! Quinoa was great too I personally don't like the feta on it. Just personal preference, plus it was free because of the app! Pasta salad I didnt liel. Too dry but that was also my personal preference. Steak roll up- gold star! But customer service is really nice and friendly and that goes farther than food.

Zoes Kitchen recently opened up at the St. John's Town Center and being that this location is closer to my job than the other two in town, I am thrilled because that means another healthy option for lunch. This was my first time having Zoes and it was love at first bite! It's like a Mediterranean Panera lol! The food was so fresh and flavorful, I went back the next day for seconds! I love it when I can eat a meal, thoroughly enjoy it, and not feel like I need to run 3 miles afterwards. The first day, I had the Chicken Kabobs (a "Zoe Favorite"). It was two nicely seasoned chicken kabobs with grilled peppers, onions, and tomatoes, rice pilaf, pita slices, and greek salad....I mean...YUM! I think feta has become my new favorite cheese!!! Day two I got the Grilled Chicken Pita which came loaded with yummy feta, grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and delicious carmelized onion! Loved it! On my way out, I couldn't resist the chocolate chip cookie so I took one home with me and it was well worth the two bucks! I like "Free" so when I was informed about the Zoes Kitchen app, I downloaded it immediately. With the app, you get free goodies when you take a picture of your receipt on the app. I did, and received a free 1/2 pint of hummus to take home! Works for me. I'm going to enjoy lots of free goodies because I definitely see myself going to Zoes a lot in the near future. I definitely recommend them. They have a variety of healthy, flavorful menu options that you're sure to enjoy!

Hard to believe this is part of a chain, albeit small. The menu features fresh, healthy, made-to-order Mediterranean dishes, most notably Arab & Greek. I had the salmon kebab. Nicely seasoned for me but some might want a bit less cayenne. The cookies, also baked on premises, presumably from a ready-made dough, leave something to be desired. I don't like eating food that contains margarine. I wish they had this chain back home in Boston. I'd be a regular and it would be a hit with the many health-conscious college students.

Ordered the dinner for 4. They allow you to pick 10 kabobs and I mixed chicken, steak, and salmon. Very fresh and flavorful. Steak is my favorite .. The marinade is so good! 2 side items were rice pilaf and potato salad. Pretty surprised and happy that it's prepared mayo free. I love the beans, steak kabobs, and potato salad but no matter what you select it's all healthy and guilt free. Must try

Fast food Greek. If you like Pita Pit this is your place. Returned the food when I could not chew it. Then to ad insult on the way out the door, an employee walking out let the heavy door slam into my wife's arm. It is cheap, I give them that. And in their defense, they are in a sea of Fast Food places. Review addition: It is good to see that the Corporate body monitors their Yelp. Shows that they care...much more than the people at the counter showed me.
