Had a salad with blue cheese dressing and a side of pulled pork, and it was delicious. The meat was so moist. Mom had a brisket sandwich and said it was off the chain, which is surprising for she can be hard to please at times. Would definitely recommend

Yuck! Just yuck. As anyone can see by my other reviews, I consider myself a bit of a BBQ connoisseur. I've had it from coast to coast and consider myself lucky to have sampled some of the best in the country. I've also had some of the worst. And Woody's Bar-B-Q is certainly some of the worst I've ever had. I'm not going to beat this dead horse to death (although a lot of my food tasted like dead horse) but suffice it to say that I didn't like anything about my visit or the food here. My server was inattentive and abrupt and the food was dreadful. My visit was inspired by a coupon I received in the mail for $10 off (which I assumed would nearly cover a single man's meal. It covered about half. But that means that I wasted another $10 on one of the worst meals of my life. The meat was dry and flavorless, the beans tasted like burnt nuts and just about everything about my meal felt wrong. I attempted to cover up the taste of my meal by smothering it in copious amounts of their BBQ sauce... but even that I found fairly uninspiring. It's unfortunate that I hated this place so much as I live just around the corner and I surely would have been a regular customer if it had been even remotely edible. My mouth and stomach deserve better than this!

The food is always hot and fresh! The owner is very nice and friendly.It's a family run establishment. Great place to grab a beer and watch a game or take the family out to dinner. I saw some families had ridden their bikes and sat for dinner. Don't see that a lot. Today they had a magician do some cool slight of hand. Emilly was my bartender and was very good and was very nice. My pulled pork sandwich was amazing and came with fries for $8 and three different bbq sauces. they kept my beer full and thanked me for my service. I will continue to return here often and I recommend it to everyone who's into good food and a great time.

The prime rib sandwich is amazing and cooked to perfection.I recommend this place. I have never had a bad experience here and do not understand or agree with the negative reviews

Woody's was mediocre at best. The atmosphere was casual, and the restaurant was clean, which is why I couldn't just give it one star. The only reason we went was because we had a coupon for a rack of ribs for $10.99. Without the discount, the meal would have been much too expensive for what we got. The flavor of the ribs was decent, but there was hardly any meat. In all honesty, a chain like Chili's has better ribs that Woody's. We were thoroughly disappointed.

Gave it another try and it was very good. Service was spot on. Had a take out order and all of our plates were correct and hot. Waitress was nice and helpful and told us about the $1.99 pints everyday from 3-6. Usually don't like the chain BBQ places but this woodys is good and clean.

We stumbled across this place while moving in to our new home and were anxious to try it. We've gone twice and won't be returning. The service was shoddy, at best. Once the server brought our food, we had to go flag her down to get refills, napkins, etc. And it's not like they were busy; the place was pretty much dead. The bill almost caused heart failure. We paid $80. for what was literally maybe worth $20. The only saving grace was the fried corn balls; i would gladly make a take out order for those but, anything else, just tastes plain and way overpriced.

Was not impressed at all. I ordered a BBQ Chicken salad and it looked like they literally threw it together. Lettuce, tomatoes and the rest of the vegetables were in chunks and it had almost no meat. No one at the table was impressed as the servings were small compared to other BBQ places we visited. Will not be going back.

I too live in the AFB area and loved the restaurant service/ownership. Unfortunately they changed owners during closure for (fake) plumbing issues and the food and the service both have deminished since the new ownership. I was a frequent eat in or pick up but after my last order, taste of burnt chicken, rotten lettuce and cores in my salad, fried dried out squash, it's not likely I will be back unless the owner himself acknowledges my concerns and disappointments, and expresses changes.

Service for me was excellent, but food quality is going downhill. BBQ beans taste like pork and beans with a little sauce put in. Pork seems like lower quality than it was.

I am sorely disappointed by my recent visit to Woody's BBQ. I've not been to any Woody's in a few years with valid reason. We had decent service, but their food and accuracy were poor. I ordered a ribs and chicken platter (with white meat chicken). They gave me cold, yes cold, ribs and dark-meat chicken. The manager eventually brought the correct food out, but I was not compensated in any way for their MISTAKES (emphasis on the plurality). It is likely I will never return to a Woody's BBQ, as I much prefer to dine at Sonny's BBQ (@sonnysbbq).

The waitresses are super nice. Had some pulled pork that was dry but ok, I'm going to give it another try though. Monday kids eat free, he ordered a hotdog but it was overcooked. But the corn nuggets and sweet potato were awesome.

Tonight's dining experience was absolutely atrocious. From our uninviting hostess, our slow and unmindful waitress (albeit not unfriendly), and our uncaring manager who showed "0" interest in our slow wait time for our food to come out, this experience was dreadful. The waitress presented us with styrofoam cups with lids for our dine in order. This not only made me feel like I was eating at a McDonald's, but also our waitress could not see if our drink needed to be refilled until we requested. When the food finally arrived at our table, the mashed potatoes were cold and the pulled pork was drowned, and I mean DROWNED, in BBQ sauce. I would avoid this location at all costs.

I ate the beef bbq sandwich on garlic toast, french fries, baby back ribs, banana pudding with sweet tea. All of it was really good, but the ribs were amazing. The pudding was homemade. The waitress was really helpful and nice. Everybody in my group enjoyed their food.

Ok, in most cases I eat my Bar BQ from some cool hole in the wall.. Avoid chains when I can. However, I am ready to make an exception, this Woody's is a franchise, but the owner Lonnie lives in the Oakleaf area, and Tyler the manager walks to work. So, even though it is a part of a chain, they make you feel like you are at home. Food was great, service was fast. If you live in this area, you will see me there often, at some booth "working" with my laptop. This place is going to be a huge success, I promise you, so, come early or be ready to wait.
