This place is the BOMB. A coworker suggested it for lunch last week, and then I've gone again tonight to drag my roommate along. It's so good. The Slawsage Dog, a smoked sausage covered in their mustard sauce, with cole slaw on the side (though you should put it on top) is delectable. It's easily the tastiest thing on the menu, but with everything else being delicious too, that should say a lot! We had the Dinner for Two, which is on special for 17.99. It was a 1/2lb of sliced pork, a 1/2lb of smoked chicken, and a 1/2lb of ribs, with baked beans, cole slaw, fries, and garlic toast on the side. We also grabbed a side of corn nuggets and a side of fried okra, because I mean at this point why stop, right? The large sweet teas are truly large, and quite good. The meats were all tender and smoked nicely. The ribs are MEATY! The sides were all really good. I think the slaw is perfect, just slightly sweet, just slightly peppery. The baked beans are also delicious, chock full of pork and beef, and baked in a delicious sauce. The flavors in the beans were so complex, I was actually caught off guard. I'd be amazed to find out that these beans were canned or something. I could taste so many different ingredients in the sauce. It was kind of crazy. Which reminds me, the sauces they provide are pretty excellent too. The spicy sauce is really something to try, full of rich flavors and tangy. The drive-thru is quick and easy! The true star of the menu is that Slawsage dog though. You just gotta try it.

I spotted this place out of the corner of my eye on my way to another bbq establishment; I didn't have to get out of my car/AC on a hot, sweltering saturday afternoon, after running a round of errands I just wanted to grab some grub and get back to my space to relax & chow down. I ordered the rib2 & chicken combo with two sides; coleslaw & green beans, the green beans were flavorful with some meat added in; the coleslaw was equally good, the ribs were meaty but not as tender as I'd hoped, I had to tear the meat of the bone and chewed til my jaws got tired, I didn't detect much grill/smokey flavor, assuming they grill/smoke the meats? The chicken was just okay, somewhat dry but their mustard based sauce helped with that, it was a tad thin and tart, the sides were the star of the show, clearly, I was hoping for more with the meats; however, the service is outstanding, good place to go when you're wanting something other than fast~food drive through.

Best BBQ in town. Drive up Ready To Go. Can't Beat The Quality Quantity or Cost. Great taste. Service is great, drive through you don't get faster than that.

Fabulous ! And it's drive thru too . I know this a bbq joint but you must try the wings , they're delicious . The pork sandwich is very good as well . The fried okra is out of this world . This place is a nice quick lunch stop with good eats .

Bbq is average, definitely a mass produced flavor but that doesn't mean it's a bad flavor. You get a decent amount of food for a fair price.

Was really great about 2years ago unfortunately since the restaurant on San Juan was open quality has gone down. The product is inconstant the chicken was so dry it was not edible, the ribs tasted boiled, and the sliced beef was super dry. Too bad was a favorite of mine.

Okay so lets be real here. BBQ this place is not. Adding BBQ sauce to meat does not make it BBQ. We had the "pulled pork" which was actually chopped. I'm not sure this stuff was cooked in a BBQ. I think it was just baked because it lacked any smokey flavor. The meat was of good quality I just wouldn't go here expecting any serious BBQ. The fried okra was nice and crispy, pretty good but the ranch it came with was bland and watery. The coleslaw was decent a little sweet but again too watery for my taste. We had the mustard and hot BBQ sauce. The mustard was too vinegary and the hot definitely had some spice but the sauce overall was unimpressive. If you need a good healthy protein fix I recommend getting the meet by the pound sans sauce and chow down.

Very easy to miss, but BBQ is excellent! Love this place! Ribs and crinkle cut fries hit the spot every time. Outdoor seating is a plus!

Food was plain and had no originality. Ordered a turkey salad and we received very poor quality ingredients. I could have gotten a better salad at mcdonalds for a less then two dollars and this place charged $8.87. I do not often write reviews, however, the food was so bad that I had to warn others. I also ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries which was also a disappointment. The pulled pork had no flavor that came on a cheap bun and the fries had no flavor as if they bought them at walmart fried it and served it. Do not waste your time and money there are other places in which you do not have to gamble your money with.

I really don't go here any more because of inconsistent hours. They apparently only open when they feel like it. The ribs are dry and taste microwaved. The sliced pork is good. Kind of like a small Sonny's.

Recently opened on Roosevelt Blvd. just north of Orange Park, Willard's caught my eye the other day while working nearby. There is no inside seating- it's mainly a drive through with limited parking. But I wanted to peruse the menu, so I ordered at the walk-up window: I ended up choosing the sliced pork special with fries and slaw. It also included two slices of garlic toast. The whole order was ready quickly and served piping hot.The meat and garlic bread were very flavorful, while the cole slaw and fries were a little bland. I didn't care much for the sauce. It was very thin, tangy but with little actual flavor. Besides the bread, the portions were a little smaller than other places, but adequate for lunch. No real complaints here, though I can't say it was terribly impressive either. It would be worth a try if you're in the area.

I'm sorry Florida but this is not BBQ. Junction is thin sliced sandwich meat with BBQ sauce in a plastic cup on the side. I got the beef and turkey and was hugely let down upon opening my container to see perfectly round thinly sliced cuts of deli style meat. I can go to Publix and get roast beef and smoked turkey from the deli counter and have a better experience than here. The sides are equally as bad. Onion rings were fried to death and falling apart. The coleslaw was soupy. Maybe, (maybe being a stretch here) if you only order a sandwich this can be ok, but still not BBQ. Be aware that this is strictly a drive-thru or walk up situation. There is only a few wooden picnic tables outside for seating and no patio, just tables in what may have been parking before.

Inconsistent. Loved the pulled pork last time, but this time it was nothing but fat. The beans were better on our first visit. My fellow diner ordered a salad and was very disappointed- shredded iceberg, two pieces of cucumber, but you don't go to a BBQ for the salads! The patio is great! Hope the food improves and the hours get steady.

Pretty darn good. Everybody in JAX raves about how great Jenkins is. Personally I don't see it. Willard's on the other hand is excellent. Tasty Georgia BBQ. (Though I must admit this is coming from a Yankee) Love that they are a drive thru place... but also love the walkup service and outside seating they provide if you would like to eat there.

I stopped in last night to get some Brunswick stew they have been advertising. I have to say I thought it was very bland and had no vinegar or BBQ sauce taste at all. I'm from NC. and have had the best of pulled pork to Brunswick stew and this fell way short. There was no smokie taste to the pork at all. This comes from baking a butt instead of smoking it. Word tot he wise if you drive by a BBQ joint and there is no smoke bellowing out or the smell of smoked wood when you drive by well you might as well go to publix and get a Mojo sub. I would like to see this place improve because I work at NAS and go by it often and would be there 3 days a week if it were more authentic. I know where the sauce they use comes from and it is ok. NC. style is either a thick BBQ sauce or a vinegar based they need to smoke dem butts and use some vinegar based sauce eastern N.C. style. I'm available for some very easy hints on how to achieve this with little effort.
