Arrived just in time for lunch on a Saturday (noon). Tables were all very sticky, in need of a good scrub down but the bathroom was spotless. Order to food arrival was average time, and the burgers/salad were good. The fries were overcooked in what tasted like old oil.

We ordered right away at the drive through and paid immediately since we were the only ones in line. We were given drinks with no straws and then that was the last we heard from anyone for about 10 minutes. Since it was taking so long we were happy enough knowing the chicken would be fresh. We eventually received the stuff and drove home. The chicken was noticeably old and just barely warm enough. The lettuce was as soggy as a wet wizards sleeve and the buns were flat. The long unexplained wait was for the fresh fries I guess. At that point I had no appetite for either and tossed it. The whole experience was a really bad one and I won't be back again. I'd rather not eat.

As far as Wendy's goes, this is a pretty good one. Yes, they have sometimes screwed our order up, but they are quick to fix it. The manager here is really nice. My advice is if you're going through the drive-thru, check your order before you leave the window not only to make sure everything is there, but to make sure the correct burgers are there. As Dewayne R. mentioned.... Yay for being staying open late! As many of you know by now, hubby and I are night owls and tend to eat dinner late, so we're always looking for places we can get dinner after 10pm. I love baked potatoes and luckily that's something on the value menu here. This Wendy's has a knack for cooking then correctly. 9 times out of 10, I get a perfect potato from here. At others Wendy's locations, I often experience over-cooked potatoes that are usually inedible. Baconator! If you haven't tried one, do so! Baconator! These things are kinda costly at $5 dollars and change from a fast food joint (and that's just for the burger... not a combo) .... but... oh... my.... gosh.... they are SO GOOD! They huge and loaded down with bacon bacon bacon! To recap: Check your order, problems solved quickly, nice manager, clean restaurant, open late, and ...... BACONATOR! :D

So, this is going to be a typical review of a chain restaurant, as one doesn't (or shouldn't) differ much from another. That said, this Wendy's has hit or miss service, with my order sometimes being messed up and at times I wonder why I don't take the extra time to drive over to Five Guys instead, where as of yet I haven't been disappointed.

Shoutout to Wendy's for always coming through late night! It's literally gotten to the point where the ride just dont feel right If I haven't made my nightly round to this location. One thing I will commend about this place will be how the late night crew will become somewhat of a familiarity to you once you've shown your face after a while, little things like that is enough to make you smile, secondarily why I chose this place over the Krystals right next door to it. While being honest the food isn't magnificent by any means, it's what makes up for it with the crew and the vast array of food versus its competitor Mcdonalds and Krystals, amongst the choices of chili, salads, shakes and the oh-so-delicious strawberry lemonade, it's going to get a little bit harder to get tired of this fast food locale. Wether you are coming from Orange Park, Riverside, or the Southside on your way back to the heart of the westside, I definitely suggest giving this location a try, its one of my favorites and unless something changes with the crew, I definitely will continue!
