I'm not a fan of steak and ribs for the most part so maybe I'm not the best judge here, but I didn't like the asado much at all. One major issue however, was that I ordered it medium-well and it came out almost rare. I'm talking red and bloody. I cannot eat beef that is still mooing. But really, a steak place that doesn't know how to cook steaks correctly? I ended up swapping with my friend who had ordered some thinner cut of steak with a fried egg on it. The restaurant itself was nice and clean inside and the waitress was nice.

Really, really good food. The two of us shared a plate for one that had all these Argentinian - short ribs, a couple kinds of sausages, and steak with a side of mashed potatoes. Too much food for both of us. We started with this appetizer that had melted Provolone cheese that you put on toasted bread that was so yummy. We had really good wine and beer, made in Argentina. We also had these carna empanadas, that was so good we had to have a second one! Lol! No wonder we had to take home a doggy bag. The lady serving us, Sylvia, was very attentive and such a friendly person. The place was nice and quaint. I felt that this place should be better known and the place should be much busier on a Friday evening. We barely spent $50 plus tip; main stream restaurant wouldn't have been this delicious nor this fair a price. We will be there regularly I am sure.

I have to say I was rather impressed with this new spot that just opened yesterday. We missed the crazy rush just moments before we came in. I had an ham n cheese empanadas with some home made garlic aji. The flavors brought me back to South America. They serve your beer in a chilled tallboy glass which is awesome. I ordered the Churrasco with white rice and a fried egg. Rice was fluffy and flavorful. Brought me back to eating as a child. Being Colombian my expectations where high. They were met with good results. Five stars!! Super attentive staff and comforting environment.

I'm from Argentina so I know what the real stuff is like. I do like that I can pick up empanadas to go. Although the meat filling is not as good as they way my mom makes them, I'm a big fan of their chicken ones. I have not had the parrilla there yet but the milanesa was good. They do have a nice projector for live soccer games that I do want to take advantage to watch my River Plate games from back at home and enjoy an nice cold Quilmes or amazing homemade sangria. I think this is the best place to watch any soccer match really.

I was in serious "I want Steak mode". I knew I did not want to visit my favorite $$$$$ restaurants so what's a woman to do? Well this woman remembered bookmarking Visconde's several months ago. I went back reread the reviews looked at the menu programmed the GPS, and hit the road. Greeted by another strip mall location I thought why not. It's what's inside that counts. First impression ; clean, space but tasteful decorations of hides, saddle Gaucho attire, boleadora used to round up your dinner and a massive flat screen showing muted soccer games. There were a few tables occupied when I arrived. I was greeted promptly by the only server working although both owners were present and working. My drink order was taken and delivered while perused the menu. I did have some questions about the dish I was sure I wanted "Parrillada Para Una Persona". Rough translation a great deal of meat for one person. The components grilled Short Ribs, one Sausage, think blood sausage, one Flank Steak and Sweet Breads. I have tried both Blood Sausage and Sweet Breads and I am not a fan, this was not an issue I was able to replace these pieces with additional sausages. Just In case that was not a sufficient amount of food I also ordered the Russian Salad; this is a salad of cooked potatoes with carrots, peas, boiled eggs and dressed with mayo, this is a great side for the richness of the meat. Oh and mashed potatoes as well. The meat is presented table side on its own grill, all you have to do at this point loosen your belt and start eating. The sausage all made in house are amazing, garlicky, rich favors, moist well balanced fat meat ratio. Holy S##t Batman! Then the Short Ribs, another treat for the senses. I cut the rack in half picked it up and in true Cowgirl style ate with my fingers. This is not fall of the bone meat but tender succulent well seasoned meat. The flank steak a perfect medium rare easily cut tender to the taste. There is a very zesty Chimichurri available if that suites your needs... IMHO it was one of the better steak dinners I have had for the price. Service was good, portions huge, and tasteful. Nuff said? The meal with a glass of wine plus tip I was out the door for 35.$$. A bargain. Plus I have two sausages for breakfast tomorrow.

Just what I expect from an Argentinian steak place. Authentic sausages they make in house, good steaks, sweetbreads, etc. Nice flavors. Get the mixed grill if you're new to this cuisine ... make sure you try the "black" sausage, too. I grew to love these when I lived in Miami, and Visconde's does them well. They opened only recently and the decor/lighting could be "warmer," but I'd say give them try. Note that they also close relatively early.

Pretty lousy experience. Being a Latin, having spent time in Argentina myself and also a big red meat eater, I was thoroughly unimpressed. Service was chaotic as it seemed to be chaotic in the kitchen as well. Pictures on the menu did not match the actual plate food that came out. My girlfriend ordered a sirloin and what we in fact got was flank steak. And I need to say at the quality of me was poor at best. And exactly how do you run out of rice at 9 o'clock in the evening with a full restaurant? I appreciate what they're trying to do, it seems like a hard-working family that runs the placebut it full short by my standardsand I'm really not that picky. Sorry but I'm never going back to this so-called steakhouse.

The food is actually quite good. I went the 1st week before they got settled and i went back a few weeks later. The food is authentic and everything tastes the way it is supposed to. My family is from Argentina and I have been there and I can equivocably say, the place is true it's roots. I saw someone comment on the sirloin when in reality, a CHURRASCO is either a sirloin cut or a skirt steak (not flank) Considering they have been open for only a month, I would think a little bit more understanding would be extended by reviewers until they get their routine down. (Having perfect stock takes time no matter how long you have been in the business) The waitresses are extremely friendly and we spoke to the cook who is very proud of what they are trying to do. The Chimichurri is perfectly authentic as is the Milanesa. Classic eggs and rice remind me of just the way my family made it. They also have deliveries from time to time from a bakery in Central Florida who takes orders for Facturas and Sanwidches de Miga. Once they have everything settled in, I am sure this will be a favorite of many people in the nearby area. The asado itself was delicious, perfectly cooked and had all the flavor I would expect from Authentic Argentinian cuisine. I would suggest that they have a grilled chicken type option for folks in the area who eat a bit healthier (since everyone deserves a healthir option) but sticking with authentic Argentine roots is the way to go and I have sent many people there who left fully satisifed. They also have events for Argentine soccer as well as Argentinian Boxers.

What a complete disappointment. Customer service was terrible and very slow. Didn't bother to come by and check to see if we needed anything at all. It got extremely smoky in there at one point. No one bothered to open up a door. Now let's talk about the menu....or lack of. There was really not much of a selection but hey I love milanesa so I wasn't too bummed out about the menu. I got through half of it before I started feeling sick. Well, I decided to pick it apart and realized I was eating more of the breading than meat!!! There was literally a thin thin strip of beef and very thick breading around it. I know milanesa is supposed to be a thin strip of beef but believe when I say the meat inside of the breading was almost non existent. So gross. Husband felt sick after a while as well. He also got milanesa. On that note, we definitely will not be going back or recommending to anyone.

Not so good experience from the time we walked in, the waitress was not so friendly and inexperienced, I had to ask multiple times for soda refill, how about bringing a bottle of ketchup instead little cups of it?...or... When ready to order a dessert or get my check my waitress was more into a deep conversation with 2 guys in the bar... I decided to go for my check instead after I was tired of waiting. I love to eat in steakhouses and knowing a lot good ones in jacksonville, this one is almost at the bottom of my list. The menu is poor in choices and expensive, from the meats menu I was told I could choose only 1 side order even though the pictures of some plates shows multiple on them. I am not sure if I would go back to this place....

Food was great, the parrilla para dos (bbq sampler for two) was delicious and the portion size was very generous. Definitely recommend it!

I am Argentinan and finding out that Jacksonville FINALLY had an Argentinan restaurant made me very happy. Keep in mind I have been to Argentina and have has some amazing food. So my expectations where incredibly High. And they where met. I went with my boyfriend we ordered two empanadas a beef and a chicken. The beef one was INCREDIBLE the chicken one was not my favorite but like I said I am picky. Out meal came with bread which is a plus I'm my book. Then we ordered the "parrillada" for 1 person and it was enough for both of us! It was amazing! It had two different cuts of meat, blood sausage, sweet bread, Argentinan sausage and Argentinan grilled hotdogs. Everything was cooked to perfection! And the chimi churri tasted fresh and delicious. It comes with one side but we also ordered an extra so we have French fries with ensalada rush which is like Argentinan potatoes salad. Both very good. It is a family owned business so the husband is in the kitchen and the wife is waitress and they where both very welcoming polite and outgoing. We will be going back many more times!!!
