The food is good but the service is some of the worst I have had. I stopped through the drive thru and ordered pancakes. Got to work and there was no fork, butter or syrup. I called and talked to the manager on duty. I told her what happens and she replied "I wasn't here so it wasn't my fault" and hung up on me. I called back got the same lady and she told me she couldn't help me. The management here needs some serious training. The lines aren't bad here but the service just is appalling to me.

I have never been to this location before, I will not go back either. Absolutely disgusting- from the trash behind the booth- that stretches along the whole wall- to the sticky floor like it had spilled soda all over it- to the worker who used the restroom and didn't wash his hands afterwards- to the crap floating in my drink- thank goodness I noticed it before I took a drink- it seriously looked like a tooth. There was no napkins or silverware which I had to ask for as well as refills on our drinks. And the food was gross too- my burger was dry and tasteless.

Really out of biscuits no!!! Your full of it and it's 15 min.after 12am and u guys just don't have them ready ....you are not "out of biscuits bet if I come back at 3 am they will have biscuits then! Pissed !

Love the burgers. I decided to try this place again after my last visit almost a year ago. The service still stinks. My food sat under the heat lamp for about 5 minutes, I didn't get my entire order, had to flag my server down to get a drink refill. The business model for this place does not work. Sorry, never again.

The server was really nice. BUT! there was only one server and at least 30 people there trying to get food. The manager looked like he was out of his league. We waited over 40 minutes for our food and they only brought 4 meals out. There was 8 of us. He said he would bring us food for free. 30 minutes later he came back and asked what we wanted. It was over an hour before we got our food and it wasn't even the right food.... So If your not sure what you want to eat, and you don't mind waiting an hour for food, this place is perfect.

I don't know if it's just this steak 'n shake, but every time I get a burger from here, it's super greasy and just sad. My side by side milkshakes are usually spot on, but other than that, I've had better food at other locations. Play it safe and grab fries and a shake.

Went here for dinner tonight and first off they didn't have any shakes. ??? Ordered Chili 5-way and they have apparently changed the recipe as it was NASTY. Minuscule meat particles, very loose chili and it just tasted nasty. Had the server take it off our check and ordered a Classic Double. By the time it got to me my husband had been finished eating for about 10 minutes and instead of a double I got a single. I just went ahead and ate it because we were ready to get home.

The food here is great. The milkshakes are even better. However, every single time I visit this steak and shake I wait endlessly in a line of cars at the drive thru typically over 30 min. There is usually no one in the restaurant but the drive thru still takes forever. It makes me not want to come here anymore. I'm typing this as I wait in this line again, came out for a vanilla shake at 9pm. It's 9:42 and I'm still waiting in line. When I come earlier in the day, I don't have this problem. The night staff although friendly are slug riding a turtle slow. After waiting now (nearly an hour) I get to the window and I am told that they are "out of shake mix" and therefore I was wasted an hour of my life for absolutely nothing. They didn't try to make it right, they just said "sorry". They clearly knew they were out of "shake mix" and let me sit in the drive thru line for an hour without telling me. If I could give zero stars I would. I will never be back.

Never again. I ordered in the drive through a grilled chicken sandwich, vegetable soup and a chocolate shake. I have to repeat my order three times. As I drove to the window to pat, I see a gift card promotion. So when I get to the window I asked to buy the gift card first and then use it. He says yes. A girl employee comes to help, she then gives me the gift card and receipt where she's already charged me for the meal and the gift card. I say, no problem, I'll use it next time. Then they hand me fries and a sandwich. I tell them, nope I wanted soup. The manager comes over to say the soup is in the back and did I want fries or chili? Now, 15 minutes have passed. I tell him to hand me the cold chicken and fries and I'll give the gift card to a homeless person. Seriously, why have soup in the menu if you can't serve it?

Timing is everything. We got seated almost immediately but the lady who was waiting on us was busting her butt to wait on tables, bus tables, and provide hosting services. The people who came in after us had a serious wait time to get seated. Maybe it was a shift change as additional staff did show up but they didn't seem to work as hard as the lady who waited on us. The food was good. I've always enjoyed Steak & Shakes burgers for a change.

First time in a few years, for some reason i never think about steak and Shake it is not in my mind but i was out ddriving errands and there they were. The Wait staff could be a little friendlier. The food was good and the manangement work just as hard as staff. Kudos!

Omigod.................... I don't know if this review is fair because my diet these days is mostly plants, and so is my husbands, but we were grossed out by the undercooked Frisco Melt and dry chicken sandwich. I wanted to relive childhood Steak N' Shake memories and I sorta kinda did because the shake was good, the paper hat was cute and the bar-stools were swivelly. Also, I made an UH-MAZING fun 3D cardboard car with a hood that opens. These delightful car dealios were clearly on hand for the kiddos inner children love them too. Shakes are half off from 2-4pm AND 2-4 AM WHAT???? So I will probably be back one night in an inebriated state around 3, but I don't think I'll ever duchess this place up.

I normally like Steak n Shake and this location is pretty typical of their others. However, today's experience was a little less than stellar perhaps because it was New Years Day and these guys and gals would rather be home watching the ball games than working in a mostly empty restaurant (staff outnumbered the customers 2:1).It started at the door when the only acknowledgment we received was from the waiter who said excuse me as he passed by. The host(?) had gathered the menus and waved us back to the table he set them on all by sign language. He had already returned to the kitchen area by the time we determined he had been signaling us to come sit down. We did discover later he spoke English as he was assigned to wait the table across from ours. Our waiter was a young named Adrian whose disheveled appearance was highlighted by an apron that looked like it hadn't been washed in at least 12 shifts. He was efficient and managed to get our orders correct and on time despite the on going verbal sparring with coworkers Victoria, Greg, and Rachel. Turns out the manager on duty, Jimmy, indicated they were several people short on the shift and perhaps that's why there was general morale problem. Overall the food was good and the "soap opera" like atmosphere provided entertainment while we ate. I will be going back I'm sure since my oldest likes grilled cheese sandwiches and strawberry shakes.
