i had been watching tv and saw the Undercover Boss program with Moe's Southwest. I was impressed with the way the owner was dealing with employees on the show. I thought i wonder if there is a location in tampa bay....and several. I called my daughter and met her for lunch near her office. She goes often on Monday's for some special deal. Well, it was with the drive. I'll be going back.

I was going through some of my old check ins, and only fitting that I find a Moe's location to review, since we will be Yelpin' it up at the new location on the Northside tomorrow. I do enjoy a good lunch or dinner at Moe's and you can't help but smile, every time, when they greet you on your way in. My favorite is the Close Talker... and the best part is eating the bowl! I always opt for the tofu (old habit from my vegetarian days) but it's deliciously marinated and pretty good for fast food. I load up this salad with just about all the toppings: lettuce, beans, rice, guac, cukes, jalenpenos, lol, you get the picture here, and instead of a salad dressing, I'll just add a bit of salsa on top. It's a huge meal! Queso is always good, and I do enjoy that you can get a beer with you meal as well.

This location is conveniently located in the Roosevelt shopping plaza. Parking was super easy. The restaurant was clean, the service was FAST, the food was fresh, the staff was very friendly and the portions were so generous. You can have lunch & dinner with just one Homewrecker! Add their amazing cup of hot melted gooey queso served with warm crispy tortilla chips & I promise your tastebuds and tummy will be so happy you came here. Great for a quick bite to go!

Moe's Roosevelt has been my favorite place to grab a quick meal since they opened. Food is Southwestern fare, always good and plentiful and the employees are curtious and know how to stuff far more into the wrap than I ever could hope to do myself. My favorite order is their Homewrecker, which I recommend highly. One caution, though, don't order this unless you are really hungry . . . it's not a light snack.

My husband and I went here after trying to figure out where we could go for a fast dinner that wasn't fast food. I really love their selections on the menu and how fresh their offerings are. This time I ended up getting the chicken club. It was very good. I think the best part is that it is set up where you follow your food down the production and choose what you do and do not want in your meal for the day. Their queso is some of the best I have had in a quick service restaurant, and the guacamole is yummy as well. My kids so far have locked into the Wrong Doug stack, which is a combination of a taco and burrito. I think they like it the best because they always seem to have some left over and can take it home for lunch for the next day. Their favorite part of the restaurant by far is the Coke machine that allows you to choose various types and flavors of soda. Can you say "suicide" to the nth degree? I remember when there were only 4 or 5 selections and that was the best drink ever. I am not sure just exactly what they put in their drinks when they create the suicide on this machine, but hey it brings a smile to their faces. :) We will be back!

Well, second time this week trying to place a to go order. Just hit over ten minutes on hold. The other day it was only 8 minutes. If they at least go the appearance of caring, I might have given them 2 stars.

Try the queso, really really good. Also has a good military discount. Really good for for the price.

One of the reason's we like this place is because its one of the very few places one can walk in and be greeted by a loud, "Welcome to Moe's!!!" Moe's is one of my favorite 'fast food' tex mex type of restaurant. This facility was busy and clean. Staff was super friendly and food is fresh. Very affordable.

One of the saddest experiences. Service here today totally missed the mark. Brought a friend who was unfamiliar with Moes except for the normal friendly, "Welcome To Moe's". I believe the counter person was totally immersed in workplace drama and that was passed on to myself and friend. Both my friend and I felt as if we had done something wrong and unwelcomed. I will NOT be coming back to this Moe's. Oh yeah, we were not greeted by, Welcome To Moe's. "

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
