This location is extremely attentive to gluten-free diners. We ordered quesadillas for our children, which they made with corn tortillas rather than flour. When the representative took our order, he made a point to get the manager and a chef. They came out to clean the entire grill, stated that it should definitely be gluten-free now, and even reviewed our choices about what we couldn't couldn't have. In addition to that, because our children could not have the cookie and we elected to drink water, they ended up discounting the price of the kids meal without our asking. My husband and I both had burrito bowls, which are naturally gluten-free and were very good. They made our food quickly and even gave us an additional discount for being a member of the fire department on top of the already discounted children's meals. There are not a lot of options for gluten-free diners for fast food, but Moe's is definitely a great choice.

Let me preface this review with this is not about the food. The food was fine and I can give it 5 stars. The reason for the low score is the constant running off at the mouth of one of the employees for the entire hour we were there! The poor cashier could barely check us out because she couldn't her another worker telling her what we ordered. She said you learn to tune him out after a while but during our short stay she was sure we would get sick of it. The guy talked loudly a million miles a minute to the point you couldn't gather your thoughts to order. Although I like the greeting upon entry and the upbeat personalities I usually see at Moe's this was TOO MUCH! We ended up leaving quickly because we couldn't even carry on a conversation in the dining area because of this guy!

LOVE this Moe's... but... This is still the best Moe's I've ever been to - friendly, clean, fresh food, delicious, cost effective. But I just spent the last 30 minutes of my lunch hour being verbally assaulted. WELCOME TO MOE'S! Loudly. Every 4-1/2 seconds. Seriously, I timed it. I know it's a corporate mandate, but corporate officials need to sit in one of their restaurants with someone belting out WELCOME TO MOE'S every few seconds. Maybe they'd change their minds. It's not welcoming. It's not sincere. It's just loud. And intrusive. And incredibly annoying when trying to have a peaceful lunch. I had to leave. Still love this Moe's best of all, but seriously doubt I can handle sitting in anymore. I'll just get mine to go.

The service was pretty awesome each time I went. I'm from Miami and we don't get friendly service often. Sad, I know, so I'm always shocked when everyone is nice. Food was prepared perfectly to my liking. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Good location with good parking .

All One can ask for from Moes. The staff is friendly, the food is consistently good, and the orders are correct. I will sometimes go and spend the afternoon studying because the atmosphere is good enough. I've been a fan of Moes for years, and this location does not disappoint. Overall - the best location I've been to in Jacksonville. Great job everybody!

This is a great little Moe's! The staff is young and enthusiastic and they always yell the obligatory "Welcome to Moe's", when entering this location. This is a newer Moe's and the bathrooms here are pretty spotless. (Always peek when washing hands after eating my Billy Barou Nachos!) I really like the grilled tofu here and although I am not vegan I order this in lew of meat on all of the menu items. Being a connoisseur of this meatless wonder, I truly appreciate that this location seems to be the one location that never seems to be low or run out of this yummy tofu. The parking is not so stellar during lunch time as the lot contends with the neighboring Mama Fu's and Chile's restaurant, but other than this, I enjoy coming to this location especially after hitting up a good shopping excursion at the Steinmart across the parking lot!

Went back to Moe's after not visiting for several months. They were busy, and consequently, the line moved slowly. The chicken was good and tender, but none of the food had any flavor except the jalapeno's. I was very disappointed and will probably continue to go to Chipotle across the street. No more Moe's for me.

We love this location! The staff is super nice, they have an app that's like a punch card so when you buy 10 entrees you get one free. We have never had an issue with a messed up order or anything. It's always clean and their peach drink is amazing. We are always satisfied when we come to this moes, keep up the good work :)

Servers are not as friendly or accommodating as at the location on Southside. The food wasn't as flavorful either. My six year old noticed the difference. They wrecked the fish tacos I ordered and looked at me like I should t have a problem with it. It could just have been on off day. We are regulars at the one on Southside and I am thinking we will keep it that way.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
