Never been disappointed in choosing this place. Menu choices are good. I can literally make a meal out the free peanuts. Stay away from bread if you're watching your figure. Staff if friendly and courteous.

We came for lunch after driving back home to Virginia and decided to stop here at lunch. All of the servers and hostesses were very kind. Everyone was very productive here, nobody was standing around doing nothing. The steak was amazing, the first time I have one cooked correctly in a long time (medium well). Kid friendly, clean. I would come back.

Food and the staff is outstanding. The best steak I have had in a while. Melt in your mouth tender. And the yeast rolls are amazing. Dusty is one of the best servers! Ask for her table. ...she will treat you like family!

We went to Logan's on 5/12/15. It was so good! The food did take a little long to come out but well worth the wait! I had the teriyaki steak and it was amazing! The service was friendly and the prices were great! I love that it has such a country feel. I would definitely come back!!

Stopped in for a Steak and Beers after a long day. My steak was good not great but hey it was a spur of the moment trip. The beer selection is nice. The service and atmosphere was comfortable and meal affordable.

Ok let start with the food. It was tasty although portions where small. I had the rib and chicken. I know these chickens where not plumpers. Tia had the rest and she enjoyed them. I love peanuts and you can throw them on the floor here.

This was not our intended destination when we set out for lunch. Upon reaching this area, we found Renna's was gone. Problem: there were 5 hangry people in the car. Logan's Roadhouse was close, hubby loves steak, it was gonna storm real soon, and it was open. Logan's Roadhouse it is. Having grown up brown in a small town in the Midwest where you could count the number of non white citizens on the fingers and toes of a single person, I usually avoid anything that includes the word "roadhouse", lots of plaid, and is frequented by people with mullets. Desperate times call for desperate measures. The unsmiling hostess, wearing plaid, sporting a mullet showed us to our seats. Luckily our server, Shawna, was perky, friendly and enthusiastic. She arrived bearing buns straight out of the oven. Already, the kids were beaming (carbo junkies that they are). After taking drink orders, Shawna produced another basket of buns. Kids loved her. While waiting on our steaks, we witnessed people throwing peanut shells on the concrete floor. Kids were concerned about the bad manners then when they were told it is Roadhouse custom, they were game to try it out. While they liked the peanuts they couldn't bring themselves to do it and surreptitiously rolled the shells in a napkin to dispense with later. The middle one wished he could take the bucket of peanuts home for later since he knew if he ate anymore, he might spoil his appetite. Shawna whisked us a third basket of piping hot buns. Now she was just showing off but we appreciated it. The Caesar salads had large flaked pieces of Parmesan which I liked; however the dressing itself was practically tasteless. The lettuce was crisp and cold. Definitely edible. The steaks were cooked just as asked. Medium on some, medium rare on others. Hubby had a generous cut of prime rib, which he ate. Steaks were meh. Weren't bad, weren't spectacular. Overall, a solid "average" from 5 hangry people. Not bad for a second choice but will probably never be a first choice in our books.

I enjoyed my eating experience at Logan's. The service was great. The Happy Hour prices were appreciated. My husbands Rib Eye was huge! The decor is western roadhouse. .So dress comfortably and eat the peanuts...

I bit into the fried cheese bacon burger and the fried cheese burst shooting hot cheese up my lip burning it. Waiter told me the cheese may be hot when he brought it. I let Ed my waiter know and shortly Jeff came over and explained that I was to to cut into the cheese first, that, that is what the staff is trained to say when serving this. He assured me he would make sure everyone did this in the future and then offered ice cream to soothe the burn? May be they think this is funny? I will not be returning.

When you live in Pittsburgh, you have to take the opportunity when traveling to stop by some of your favorite chain restaurants. My husband and I are a big fan of Logan's and just had to stop as we drove through Jacksonville. My experience here was underwhelming. Our waitress was nice but was quite delayed in delivering us our second round of those addictive yeast rolls. I started with the Caesar salad, which was over-dressed. For my entree, I had the baked potato and filet mignon. The potato was fine, how can you really screw that up, but the steak was not good. For the same price, I could've had an incredibly juicy, tender, high quality piece of meat at the Longhorn in Pittsburgh. However, this steak was cooked Medium (not the Medium Rare that I ordered), the quality of meat was very poor, and the portion was extremely petite. I have dined at some great Logan's, and this restaurant does not represent the chain well. I'll plan on going to a different location next time I'm traveling.

Love the food and the servers are great. Hate that they always have False (FOX) News on. Turns me off of my food.

Don't come here if you are trying to catch a movie, in time, or have some place to be. We were sat at our table on a Friday night and it was dirty. Then our server took at least 5 minutes to greet us. He then asked: "have you been waiting long?" I was speechless. The food from the kitchen makes up for the vast canyon of training the servers need, at least this one. My salmon was decent but the baked potato was over-salted on the outside. My wife's steak was perfect and tasted really good. Not sure on if we will go back.

I've been a good costumer, not from this place but from the chain. I believe they have to start reducing the price, it is a little pricey, Longhorn and Outback has better quality and the price a little lower. This place was empty and Lame....

Now we have tried Logan's a couple times now. They still can't get it right well maybe the peanuts but most of them are stall. I go to a steak house and you would think the steaks should be good. Nope and the burgers are not good either. We did like the fried mushrooms the first time we went. The service was pretty good but we are gonna leave this one to everyone else.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN!!! the service was slow at first... we had a pretty big party about 25 people or so. The waitress got half of the table their drinks and the other half waited another 1/2 hour. It takes them another 1/2 hour to take our orders. an additional 1/2 hour after that she comes out with half of the parties entree and there were about 5 or 6 people whose tickets were misplaced so she had to take their orders again. okay so after everything starts to die down.. our party is finishing up and we wait for our checks. it took them 1hr and 45 mins to get our checks. we had to hunt down our waitress to ask for our checks. We asked to speak to the manager and he didnt show up til 30 mins later. i swear i should have left by then. well the manager comes out and looks like hes going to solve our problems (sarcasm). he could barely speak English! we tell him our issue and then he says "Well we had to wait on you for an hour and 45 mins.. so you should be able to wait for us to bring you the check" ... o_O ? then he walks away. SO AWFUL!!!

This is my second visit. The first was just ok, so I thought I would try it again. My wife and daughter split a bacon cheese burger with sweet potato fries. They said it was really good, it was cooked to a medium which is perfect. My son got the chicken tender meal. It was ok according to him and when it comes to chicken tenders, he's the expert. A lot of breading on it he said. I got the baby back ribs. They were ok as well. Sonny's BBQ has better ribs than that. The wait time on the food was really long about 45 minutes and the place wasn't packed. I read all the reviews and thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I was wrong. Chief Ervin with Restaurant Impossiple could teach them a few things. Time management would be one of them. I won't be retuning for just ok food. Good Luck, I see a different restaurant in the future.

Gonna knock this down to a 3-star rating, and that's being generous. On my most recent visit, there was nobody at the hostess station for a couple of minutes, then they couldnt' decide which side of the restaurant to seat me in. The $20 steak I ordered (T-bone) was unremarkable. It was nearly flavorless. I'm starting to understand a little more why they have A-1 on the tables. The cinamon apples were tasty. Server did refresh my bread, but there were no peanuts on my table. Overall, kind of ho-hum. For mediocre steaks, I can go to Golden Corral for half the price.

Holly was our server, very courteous. The peanuts are a nice healthy touch for an appetizer. The food was not the best. The best thing was the servers.

Food was descent the service was unbelievably horrible. it was not busy and our waitress could not handle more than one table. my medium rare steak was more rare than medium. the best part of the meal was the rolls.

The service here has been steady and good and the food is solid as well. There really isn't anything that knocks this place out of the park but it's a good choice for a decent meal.

  • Henry S.

Mediocre at best. The server was attentive but that did not make up for room temperature food and a burger that was really pink in the middle! We stopped prior to boarding the plane back to Dallas and since I had a gift card I figured why not! Hmmmm maybe next time I'm in Jacksonville I'll stick with more traditional eateries, McDonald's and Burger King is always on point.

We have been here before and never had any major problems. We (husband & wife) went tonight, were promptly seated (hostess seated couple ahead of us and came right back), waitress came for our drink orders within 2 to 3 minutes, appropriate time passed and order was taken. Bread and drinks followed almost immediately. Waitress checked and refilled both bread and drinks without being asked. Manager did a walk through and stopped at our table for a moment to make certain things were OK. Meals came out in a reasonable amount of time. I had the Onion Brewski and the wife had the 8 ounce sirloin. Both were cooked the way they were ordered. Waitress checked back with more than a cursory "how are things? attitude. Place was clean from our vantage point. Neither of us used the restroom facilities so I don't know what condition they may have been in. A party of 5 finished their meal and left while we were eating. The table was cleared and washed more thoroughly than I expected. Noise level was acceptable. We were near the bar but there were only a few times that the noise level was a little loud but that quickly passed. The place was not overly crowded probably due in part to BJ's Restaurant by Dick's Sporting Goods now being opened (and parking lot overflowing). Other restaurant parking lots at River City seemed to have the same number of cars parked as Logans. My complaint? Not really a complaint but expressing a preference - The Onion Brewski is served on a sizzling plate for "that" effect. I prefer to let my steak rest a few minutes before eating so that's what I did.

My in-laws are in town so we all went out to dinner last night. For starters, this place was packed so we had to wait a little while for a seat (which is fine). Once a table opened up, we were seated at a large booth. When the waitress came by, she realized that we were really crammed in (there were 7 of us) and offered us a different table at the bar that just opened up. That was really nice of her and was greatly appreciated by us. Once we were settled in, out came the peanuts and the bread. This place is a "throw your peanuts on the floor" kind of place, which you figure out the second you walk through the door! I skipped the peanuts and decided to gorge on the hot rolls that were in front of me. The rolls were soft and melt in your mouth. Yum! I was torn between the Teryaki Chicken and the Santa Fe Tilapia. I ended up with the tilapia and I knew I made the right decision. For starters, the portion was huge! There had to have been at least 2-3 tilapia pieces on the plate. They were seasoned with a spicy rub, topped with a Roasted Corn & Black Bean Salsa & a cilantro-chipotle sauce. Let me tell you, that sauce was insane! It had just the right amount of spice to leave your lips tingling, but not enough to clear your sinuses out! The tilapia was cooked perfectly and the corn/black bean salsa was a nice addition that went well with the fish. My 2 sides were Rice Pilaf and Macaroni and Cheese. The rice was on the bland side, which didn't really bother me because I was mixing in the cilantro-chipotle sauce to give it more flavor (I would put that sauce on anything!) The macaroni was really good. It was more of a creamy macaroni with a lot of cheese sauce, just the way I like it. My husband got the New York Strip 11-ounce steak with fries and a baked potato. He said that the steak was good, but it had a lot of fatty pieces around the outside. The fries and baked potato were also good but they were standard steakhouse fare, nothing special. Verdict: We liked it I really liked my Tilapia and Ivan was really jealous when I let him take a bite. This amused me because it's usually me that has the food envy! The prices are a little higher than they should be, but my meal was a good value due to the portion size alone. If you are looking for a steakhouse and are tired of the usual, I would give it a shot!

The other day my wife wanted to go out for a steak. So, we decided to try this place because it was relatively new and we'd not yet visited here. We won't be going back. The service was quick and friendly and the sides were pretty good, but the steaks we ordered were dry and, in my case, tough. It's pretty pathetic when the sides are better than the main course. The next time we want a steak we'll probably visit Longhorn or Outback.

Went back for 2nd visit this Sunday. I have to subtract a star this time, the bathroom was messy, stinky and sticky, and our server was very nice, but not very efficient, we had to ask for water and bread refills several times. I had the chicken terriyaki and it was very dry and needed more 'terriyaki'. The potato and sides were good and very hot. My son loved his hamburger with the fried cheese slice on it.

Maybe I should stop going to north side to eat. The food here was average and service okay at best. I make better seasoned and tender steaks at home

The food was OK, the service was great. I had the meatloaf and it did not have much taste itself, the mushroom skewer was quite good though.

Roadhouse tea was very sweet, the moonshine did not overpower the drink. I had the 6 oz filer with lobster tail, sweet potato and broccoli sides. The broccoli was over cooked, there was no butter for the lobster tail. The steak was cooked rare just the way I like it. Fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks were appetizers. I liked the horseradish sauce for the mushrooms. Will come again.

Not a good experience at dinner last night. Ordered steak medium and came out medium rare at best. Sent back to have it cooked longer and 15 minutes later it still hadn't reappeared. My wife had finished her meal when the manager brought out a new steak. He gave me no reson other than just sorry. The service was very slow in the first place and this just finished things off. We were not there at a heavy time and many tables were available. Many of the staff were younger people that were more concerned about standing around and talking or playing on their phones. The entire bill was written of except my two beers at $10. We still left a $5 tip.

The best thing about this place was the peanuts they put on the table. Other than that, they were out of steaks & certain beers. One person in our party got their entree after everyone was already done eating. All in all, it seemed that they obviously don't have their act together. I will not return to Logan's again...

I have NEVER had a ribeye so unseasoned and tasteless as I had tonight. I could take a ribeye from the grocery store straight from the package to the grill and get better flavor. I dispise A1.... but even that could not save the blandest, thinest ribeye that was presented to me. For $20, that was highly disappointing. There is no need to comment on anything else here. If you are a steakhouse and you cannot master the art of steak, then you might as well quit (or fire the kitchen staff.) *There is a Walmart Superstore in the same center, te manager should trot on over and pick up som steak seasoning- ANY STEAK SEASONING and USE IT. There are far too many steak options in town. Cross this one off the list.

Brand new restaurant chain in FL. Prices are reasonable portions are good food tasty and service very friendly. Peanuts shells are all over the floor and you can feel free to make a mess it is allowed. I personally like more healthy chooses of the dinners so one visit for me is good enough. Thank you

Ordered the 6 oz filet, medium well. It came out very rare, sent it back. Waited 20 minutes, steak came out rare (again!). Vegetable skewers were cold, had obviously been sitting somewhere in the kitchen for too long. My sons steak tips were rare also. We sent them back but they forgot about his food and we had to remind them. Asked to see the manager. He looked shell-shocked and overwhelmed. Obviously we weren't the only table he'd been called to. Our meal was effectively ruined but at least he comp'ed the entire bill. I've eaten at this chain several times in Ohio and never had a problem. I hope they can get their act together at this one as I really like the food (when it's done properly).

  • Orlando A.

Ok, it's a chain and there's usually a mass produced quality to the food but it should be have a little salt on it. Our party was big but we had no wait and put server was Johnny-on-the-spot with drinks. Salads came out pretty quick. Food came out at a decent time but it was in intervals and wrong. My wife ordered mushrooms with her steak, instead she got onions. Our kids sides were wrong. We told our sever and she fixed it quick enough but it was frustrating. My wife's steak was just a piece of meat. It was perfectly cooked but had ZERO FLAVOR no salt or grill spice. She asked for blue cheese, usually it gets broiled on the steak, hers was just there. I ordered ribs, they looked good and I was in the mood for some BBQ. I should have just gone with my first instinct and gotten wings, hard to screw them up. As for the ribs, my response to the manager should be adequate for this review; they were edible. I doubt I'll return for dinner, maybe lunch and a burger or some wings but I am not stopping $15 for 1/2rack of bland ribs or $20+ for bland steak with cold blue cheese. On the plus side they have good sweet tea.

Don't waste your time. The service sucks and the food is right behind it. Sorry to give a crappy review but it was terrible. I expected better but just got bad everything. The Longhorn is just a mile away closer to the airport. Much better everything for the same price.

Very disappointing. Had to wait when there were empty tables. Greeter was not welcoming. Steak was under cooked and when the SAME steak came back 15 minutes later it was rubber and had broccoli stuck to the bottom of the steak. We are not sure where the broccoli came from and really don't want to know. Waitress said kitchen staff is awful & was getting retrained for the 3rd time!

I have been to Logan's in different cities before and I always think about the yeast rolls and peanuts that you can crack and throw on the floor, what fun times and delicious treats. Well this is pretty much where the enjoyment ended for me at on this trip to Logan's. I have a couple bones to pick with this place. First of all I ordered the filet which seemed small, but perhaps it just seemed that way because the sweet potato I received was giant. It was like two softballs put together. I ate less than half of it and because it was so big it wasn't cooked as much as it should have been. Second thing that bugged me about this visit was when my wife and I received our steak the food runner immediately insisted that we cut into them and make sure that they were cooked correctly. She stood there as we scrambled to unwrap our knives and cut into the steak. We of course, in the awkwardness of the moment, told her that they were fine. My steak was over cooked but I hate sending back food and would prefer the chef just cook it correctly the first time. Hence why I don't think very many people when asked as soon as they get their steak if it's cooked properly will say that it is simply because they don't want to complain and send it back as soon as you got it. I think I'll stick to burgers at Logan's, because I can think of better ways to spend $18 on a plate of food.

First time hearing and eating at the place and Im glad we did. I ended up getting the Kickin' Logan's Chicken Salad. Good salad blend with corn salsa and beans. The chicken breast was moist, well seasoned and very full of flavor. The cilantro ranch like sauce was a really good match for the salad which I had on the side. The fresh baked bread was good, but a refill would have been nice. IM sorry... I cannot just eat peanuts and throw them on the floor... no further comment on that.

Shameful. The restaurant was too busy for (very young and inexperienced) wait staff. Our waiter was clearly overloaded with many other large groups. Here's the wrap up; Times to Table: Drinks - 10minutes Salads - 20minutes Appetizers (burnt) -1hour Entrees (burnt) - 1.5hours Table service - Unacceptable Food prep - Unacceptable Customer reorder - Food never showed up Total time - 2hours Rating: Shameful -will never return.

Our waitress Jeanie was terrific but the food was awful...I ordered the crusted blue cheese sirloin and was brought a chunk of fat with spicy butter on it. It had NO flavor what so ever even though the menu bragged about their special marinade. Their House Salad is just an everyday garden salad nothing spectacular. Their mini desserts are pretty tasty though :(

The time between our salad and entree was about 20 minutes. I ordered my steak medium rare but came out well done. The waitress offered to replace but I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes. I'll never return which is a shame..... I loved them when I lived in Texas.

We have been here a couple of times and had a decent, not great meal but decent meal. This visit was awful. We kept getting excuses as to why things were taking so long to arrive. After 40 minutes elapsed I asked for the manager. He went to check on the food and within minutes brought the food to us. Unfortunately the food was cold. This leads one to think that the food was ready and just not picked up by the server. This place has been hit or miss and lately it has been more miss.
