It was remarkable to see this venue at during lunch. I thought this would be a stable barn in the retired community's eyes: bland inexpensive buffet food with a decent presentation. The service was very good and I found the place to be relatively clean. Had i not been invited to meet someone here, it would be very unlike me to be here at all. In my experience, big chain hotels have good food services and can put out awesome displays that taste like magic, but their primary mission is to just cover the bases for the guests. For instance, look at Hyatt in downtown Jacksonville, FL: The main restaurant in the foyer area is top tier in its quality, service, and style. . In my opinion, Gigi's at The Ramada has something to aspire to and a mountain to climb before reaching that level.

Went to this place mainly because it's close to home, but I do like buffets in general. We went for the Blue Jean Breakfast. First of all, on the Gigi's website, the times are wrong. It says 10:00 - 11:30, when it's really 11:00 - 2:00. When I told the front desk about this, they didn't even offer us anything, even though we were there an hour early. So after waiting an hour, we were starving and lets just say I'd rather have just gone to Waffle House. The eggs were bland, dry and luke warm. The sausage and bacon were mediocre and the waffles were absolutely flavorless. Needles to say, we didn't go back for more than one helping and we won't be going back again. Not sure how any of their other buffets are, but this one stunk!

Gigi's Restaurant is located inside the Ramada Inn and Conference Center at the corner or I-95 and San Jose Blvd. It is also the restaurant that supplies the appetizer list for The Comedy Zone, which is also located here. Gigi's is a typical Hotel restaurant. They have the standard Caesar Salads, BLT, Ribeye and Fried Shrimp. What they have that stands out is their buffets. They have a buffet for everything. There is the standard Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Buffets served Monday thru Thursday. These are for the Hotel and Conference folks mostly. Then you have the Friday and Saturday night buffet that is the All You Can Eat Crab Leg and Seafood Buffet from 5pm to 10pm. It is fresh, clean and yummy! I got a good pop from my crab legs and the Carved Prime Rib is good too. Not too tough like so many can get. They also have the Sunday Blue Jean Brunch that is also pretty good. I have traveled the East Coast eating Eggs Benedict and theirs are as good as any. For $10.95 per person, It is a great deal!

love crab legs. I heard from a few people this was the place to go on the weekend for all you can eat. The crab legs that were suppose to be HOT didn't even stay hot by the time I reached my table. They had no seasoning at all. They had been cooked way too long. After deciding I was not going to get my $$$ worth in crab legs I tried other things that were on the buffet. The prime rib also had no seasoning. No flavor what so ever. The twice baked potato was hard and seemed to have sat under the lamp all day only it was only 5:15 and the dinner buffet starts at 5....... the fried shrimp were OK but didn't seem very fresh. Sad to say but the only thing that tasted half way okay was the desserts. So I paid $28.95 for a half way okay dessert!!! Safe to say I will not go back to Gigi's.

It's wasn't great the sever wasn't ready for us even though we called two days ahead . The food was average at best , if you like crab legs there are better cheaper places to go , and tip was included which is normal for a larger party but I handed the sever 80 on a 76 bill " tip included already " and he tried to hand me back 1.26 which seem to happen with everyone at the table
