First of all the Chicken Breast skillet was good. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not a big fan of Denny's. The food is never good there to me, but my boo wanted to go. So I went, trying to be a good woman. The waitress was so sweet. I forgot her name, but it started with a D. I could tell she was really busy, but she was attentive. The boo and his lil man's food didn't look so hot, but they didn't say anything bad about it. They had fit slam and blueberry pancakes.

Oh Denny's. I wish I could love you. Because Denny's is one of the few options open late- sometimes you just gotta eat here. Every time we go here, I feel like they always have servers that are in training. They are fairly attentive- and that means a lot because I chug water like a camel! However, they just lack experience. The food is also sub par. Unless you are drunk you will most likely not enjoy this food. It comes out super greasy- again good for alcoholic stomachs- but not so good if you just want a nice meal. Will I come back? Probably. I will always hope that the food and service will be better though. You can do it Denny's!

It was nice and cool on this Denney's tonight, which is good in Florida. Our Waitress, Alex was very good. She took care of all of our needs, even though she was busy. We had a coupon with is, out of the Mint Magazine. Buy one Entree, get the other free. Autumn got the double cheeseburger and fries. Ernie had the Lumber Jack breakfast. I had the country fried steak & gravy skills breakfast with a scrambled egg. It came out sizzling, good and hot! We all had a delicious and hot meal. I will be back here very soon. Kudos to Denney's tonight!

All theses years I thought iHop was a better version of Dennys! This is our second time here this week and the food is good compared to others of the same origin. The waiters are sweet and the only bad thing is that the refills are slow depending on the level of capacity in the restaurant. Their lemonades are even better than iHop! I just say that sitting on the opposite side of the kitchen is best. The things you will see and hear become a bit much. Also, appearance is everything and some of the waitresses look like they've been around the world and back in the same clothes. I just say a small prayer and hope my food is covered. Happy Yelling...

As far as Denny's goes, this is a good one. it's definitely better than the on the Northside near the airport! I ordered the club sandwich w/ a side of hash browns w/ cheese. The club sandwich was good, but it was a little skimpy. It could have used more turkey and bacon. The bacon was practically non-existent. But, I was a piggy and did gobble the entire thing up (for the record, it was like 8pm and I hadn't eaten since dinner the night before :D). Loved the hash browns w/ cheese. They were perfectly cooked and actually some of the best I've had. That was a shocker! Hubby ordered one of their skillet thingies. Steak & onions, chicken, hash browns and cheese. He gobbled his down pretty quickly and said he really enjoyed it. Our waitress, Patty, did a really great job and was really sweet. She definitely had her hands full with our very large party (15). We don't go to Denny's very often because the past few times we've been we've left very unhappy with both food and service. However, I definitely wouldn't mind visiting this particular location again. And for all you late-nighters, this one is open 24/7.

I just got out of Dennys my server was grace she wasn't really a server she thought I was probably young and won't tip so she was really not there I told her I wanted water to go but there is hair on. I ordered two extra egg and she forgot to put it on the order.. i told her i wanted panckaes instead of toast she said dhe already put in the order she can't change it it was just one minute since I ordered it my bill was 25 dollars but I still gave her 10 even though she was a bad server ....

First off when we arrived I should have left. There was one waitress and it was getting pretty busy for the later lunch crowd. On top of that she had hurt her knee and was limping all over the place. I even went and got my child a set of crayons to save her the walk back up front.I even took and extra set to the child behind us. It took forever to get our food and I only ordered a egg sandwich with biscuit and gravy. My daughter had a kids french toast that was barely dipped in egg wash. It was more like plain texas toast thrown on the grill and almost burnt. We waited almost 40 minutes for luke warm and flavorless food. I could say much more but I will not ever go back to this Dennys. Do yourself a favor and ride five miles over to the Beach Blvd location past Hodges.

I went here after closing up at work. So it was a little after 2 in the morning. I called ahead to get my order to go. Now going at this time I knew I was going to encounter the club rush. But it wasn't too bad, they have police standing out front making sure people keep it calm. Over the phone I ordered an omelette with a side of pancakes. She repeated the order back to me correctly. But, when I got there they probably gave me someone else's order. I was tired and ready to go home. The food looked decent so I took it without saying anything. Getting home I found out it was Denny's new hearty breakfast skillet. The sausage and potatoes were good. The rest was bland. I usually go to the IHOP up the street for my late night breakfast run. I will keep going there from now on.

Ihop was slammed for National Pancake day but we had already planned an outing so we moved it to Denny's. Let me just start by saying that the menu selection is great, they have a lot to choose from and you can get a full meal very cheap. However, unless you are drunk I highly suggest going elsewhere. I understand that we had a large party of 15 but it took over an hour to get our food, it wasn't that great and they were not that busy otherwise. I ordered a biscuit and gravy with a scrambled egg and pancakes, the biscuit was good and the gravy had pretty good flavor but barely enough to cover my biscuit. The pancakes were as expected nothing amazing. My friend ordered the cinnamon pancakes and boy was I jealous! They tasted like Cinnabon heaven! Out of all of our orders those cinnamon pancakes looked the most appetizing and may be worth a return visit if they can make it in less than an hour. I also ordered the pancake puppie Sunday and my friend ordered the blueberry puppies that never came. At the end of the meal she asked if we still wanted them and we said no. She ended up giving them to us to go at no charge which was nice, since they were there we tried them and I literally spit it out. It was old, cold and greasy. YECH! I'm very glad I wasn't paying for them.

Maybe I went in with extremely low expectations. Well, not maybe. I know I went in with extremely low expectations, but this Denny's happened to be the right place at the right time. You don't go to Denny's for the salads. You go for the greasy diner food and that's just what I ordered. The Build Your Own Skillet caught my attention so I made it a brinner kind of night. Hash browns, two over easy eggs, spinach, grilled onions, cheddar cheese, bacon, and avocado all served in a piping hot skillet. Even though is not a spot I will be stopping very often, this meal hit the spot.

STAY AWAY!!!!! The wait is forever. Gave it a few chances but always disappointed. This time I waited almost an hour!everyone who came In after got their food and we continue to wait. Go to Waffle House next by or even McDonald's dollar menus is worth it. Service horrible but for can't complain. 1 star for food and come if you are ready for crappy service and age while you wait.

Veterans Day special is great. Thank you for feeding those who have served or are serving. Only tip I have is maybe have more servers seemed a bit short handed, as we finished eating and had to wait 15 mins just to get our check.

I have never been so humiliated in all of my life!! I Went there this morning to enjoy breakfast because I had a free breakfast coming to me as a result of an order being incorrect upon my last visit. The manager Phil disputed my coupon code by saying it was too old. He had this discussion with me very loudly in the restaurant whereby customers and staff could hear and see how he talk to me. He even asked what was wrong with my ordered the last time o visited and I told him that the bacon was wrong on the order and he asked she gave you a free entire breakfast because your bacon was wrong? It's obvious that he likes to throw his weight around and he suffers from the Napoleon syndrome. The coupon was only two weeks old. He said there should have been a 24 hour turnaround, although I was not given that information. In addition a 24 hour turn around is impossible when I don't live in the area. And Who's to say that I want Denny's within a 24 hour. That's not fair to me. This was a Conversation that he should have discussed that with the manager who presented the coupon to me. I hope it made him feel good to talk to a lady so disrespectfully, not stand behind your food products and to send a customer out the door unhappy and in tears! After being in the car about 30 minutes because I was so upset I couldn't drive, I got myself together and drive straight to the ER. Needless to say I will never step foot in that restaurant again as long as he's the manager there. He is uncouth and needs more professional management training if they want this restaurant to succeed!

Came here from downtown because it's open 24hrs and the other restaurants were closing up for the night. Not much to say about this Denny's. The staff was courteous, my food came out in a timely manner, and it was good. I will suggest though, don't get a skillet late at night unless you are going to stay up for hours. I only ate half of a Fit Fare Skillet and the next day it's still sitting in my gut like a brick. I took the other half to-go and that might become lunch.

This place sucks it took us like 40 min to get our order and all we ordered was a cheeseburger and quesadilla. When my wife finally got her cheeseburger there was no mayo on it and it was really cold. The fries were also very cold. I don't think I will ever be back here again. This place has really went down hill. They need to clean this place up before I come back here again. Also if you like to hear the staff yell at each other and gripe back and forth and crappy food and service then this is your place. It's bad when you have people just leaving because the food sucks and the service sucks.

After an event for my high school age niece, no other places were open to eat and we ended up at Denny's. As always, Denny's is what it is. The food is neither good nor bad. Pretty sure that it would have been better had I drank a few beers or something. Anyways, for as late as the time was, the place was pretty packed. The only thing that really irked me was that we had my 4 year old niece with us, and instead of serving her food first, all the adults were served before she got her food. It seemed as though the staff couldn't make up their mind as to who was serving us, so maybe that was part of the problem. In any case, I can guarantee that no adult is going to be upset if the child at their table is served before the rest.

I usually go to Dennys for breakfast and it generally is good but but this time we were informed by staff despite the availity we could not sit together. It warms my heart to have my back to my family while trying to converse with my family. The conversation consisted of many "huhs" and "whats". The waitress was very nice and attentive but it didnt diminish my pissy attitude. I wont be coming here again and i will make sure people know! We have family breakfast to catch up from the week, so i suppose we will have to wait. Restraunt are for conveinence...i am not sure when though. I basically had to yell for a kids menu because the situation was so discombogulated. Im not even that angry, just supremely disappointed. But the worst thing was when my husband tried to ask the hostess why we could not all sit together on the other side she blantantly ignored him and walked away to the back and Celina stared at him from back there until he sat down. But our waitress Rita was amazing! She is the only reason i gave 3 stars.

I have been here a couple of times in the distant past, and was happy with what I got. Not this time as we actually got nothing. I realize it's Thanksgiving evening, but they're open and serving. We entered and stood in the reception area for about 10 minutes and were totally ignored. There were only maybe 8 or 9 other couples there maybe 10, with 2 waitresses and we stood by the sign that said they would be happy to seat us and found out that evidently they weren't. I looked at my wife and she at me and we both said ''lets go'' at the same time and left, without looking back.

I'm not sure what I was thinking going to Denny's. I hadn't been there in years and I was craving some pancakes. I went on a Sunday morning and the church crowd was in full swing. Unfortunately, the food was not! I had a coupon for a full breakfast - pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage. It was NOT good at all. As a matter of fact, I probably wouldn't eat it again if I got it for free. The pancakes were gummy and hard to cut, the sausage links were too soft and I don't think that those eggs were real. One star for the bacon...I mean, how can you go really wrong with bacon? So much for my pancake craving. I'll have to try a local favorite spot and hope that my memory of this awful experience is quickly erased.

Ok, the only reason why I'm giving this place a 4 is because it was one of the only places that was ALWAYS open after my friends and I got out of the club, and the food always tasted so yummy (I blame it on the a-a-a-alcohol). LOL

While on vacation from NYC, my husband and I had breakfast here twice. The first time was fantastic and the second wasn't. Both times we were greeted promptly, seated and our waiters were both terrific throughout. The problem was the cook on the second visit. On 3/30/12, 8am, the hash browns were not cooked through, raw. We requested crispy bacon, we think the cook maybe showed it to the skillet and that was it. Second experience was very disappointing. Because of that, this location is a hit or miss.

I ordered coffee and the hobbit skillet. The gave me half a cup of coffee, oh they did refill it half way, but only half way. They sausage looked like it was leftover from a week age and tasted that way. The potatoes, peppers and onions were so greasy that I could have oiled my car with them. Since that breakfast I have had distress in the lower track. Oh, I had to give a star just to submit my comment, but it wasn't worth even one star.

Heck my first 1 star review and its on a Dennys... Go figure.. Arrived in late in Jacksonville and my choices were limited go to 7-Eleven and get a microwave burrito or Dennys. Well since I was to lazy to open the microwave door you guessed it I went to Dennys. Well now I really know what their food tastes like when I'm sober, and it wasn't pretty my friends. When I first walked in the door I was met by the intoxacating aroma of pine-sol and the meal the last patron decided to leave on the floor after he ate it. I ordered a prime rib sandwich and fries with cheese. Sorry to say I've had better hospital food. So heres the skinny. Food poor to inadible, cleaniless horrible, atmosphere fun if your drunk and want to chill with all the homies after the club, And service o.k.

I referred to this Denny's in my Village Inn review. In that review, I mentioned that this is a better place in the evenings; it really is. This Denny's is a little newer (less than a decade old, though I cannot remember exactly when it was built). The food, service, and atmosphere are what you would expect from a Denny's. There's really not much more to say than that. It is open 24 hours, which makes it a great place to kill a buzz at 2:00 a.m., with good prices all around. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a 24-hour breakfast joint with decent desserts.
