This is one of the best Chili's out there. They treat you like family, and if you come here enough, they'll remember you by name. Food is always good and fresh, and if something does go wrong somewhere, they act quickly to correct the problem. Highly recommended to anyone looking for some good southwestern inspired dishes at unbeatable prices!

Our server Sean was delightful and attentive. The balloon girl was a nice surprise. The flatbread was delicious. My burger was overdone; therefore, dry. We had a great time and enjoyed our dinner out.

Second day of coming to eat the 2 for 30.00 Everything was good. I order yesterday the chicken fajitas and it was real good. It came with peppers onions chicken breast guacamole, sour cream, cheese and tortillas. My wife ordered margarita chicken and it was excellent. The margaritas were 2 for 1 and the mango was the best. Strawberry is really good but not my cup of tea. The dessert the molten lava was like murdered onthe table. Ill be back tomorrow for more.

DELISH!!! Chili's has definitely stepped up their game in the sit-down restaurant category. I went to dinner here with my coworker for her 20th bday (which we mentioned to 2 different workers, but went unacknowleded). The menu is HUGE so a lot of page turning...over and over and over again. My coworker and I finally settled for the 2 for $20 dinner. We got our chips and salsa appetizer about 5 minutes later and they were so good! The chips were super crispy and warm and the salsa was the right amount of spiciness. As we were eating we toyed around with the little black tv machines on the table. They are definitely pretty neat, but I wouldn't pay 99¢ to play games on there. I did like that you could order dessert and pay your check on there with a card. And you could even split the check up to 3 times - sweeet! About 5min after that, we were approached by by this awesome balloon guy (his name is Joe) and asked if we had any requests. My coworker said it was her birthday and shed like a turtle. He did that and made me a cat one, and boy were they do cute. We felt bad that we didn't have money to tip him :/ Anyways, our food came in about 15min later and it was so great! I got the chicken crispers with buffalo sauce and my coworker got the same with no sauce mixed in. We only ate about half because we munched through so many chips and salsa. The server we had was kinda slow on service but he was very nice. We had a great experience just because of how good the food was (and Joe was cool too!). Definitely going to go back again!

I used to frequent this Chili's location a lot since it is so close to my house. However, the few times I've been here recently, the food and service hasn't been all that great. I'm not sure if they have made changes to how they cook the food or what, but I always leave feeling like I've wasted my money. I definitely like the Baymeadows location a lot better!

Filthy! Great service - but totally disgusting. Could see into the kitchen from our table it was horrible. Floor was sticky everywhere and the tables look like they haven't been washed all day.

Got the Shrimp Tacos. The tacos weren't very flavorful and the black beans were cold and the rice was also cold,hard and flavoless. This is my second bad experience at the San Jose Chillis. I probbaly won't be back.

we went on a Saturday but it was after lunch time and the service was so slow we had to complain to the manager who was nice enough to take off our appetizer! the waitress was young and very nice but clearly inexperienced because she took forever to come back to take our order she never asked us if we wanted drink refills and she didn't even apologize even though she knew our appetizer was extremely late in coming...luckily we were so hungry we just stayed and waited for food so we can eat instead of just leaving! I will say if you order the nachos be prepared they're not like any other nachos you would expect they did have a lot of seasoning which was good but too salty but they had no lettuce no tomato nothing but cheese and chicken on tortillas cut into triangles...also the little touch screen thing at the table that you can pay your check on is very useful except you can order anything on it except for drink refills or dessert...very frustrating. go at your own risk

I met some friends for lunch here. I was apprehensive because there are so many great places to eat in Jacksonville. It was one in the afternoon. It took a minute to be seated. The lunch menu offers soup/salad and half a sandwich. I chose a house salad and half turkey sandwich. I requested the bread not be toasted, the server wanted to know if I wanted my cheese melted....I had to let her know if I wanted a cold sandwich. (It got a little complicated) The salad was ok, the bread (wheat) on my sandwich was a little hard. It tasted ok, but I did not eat most of the bread. The server let us know that we should use the device on our table to pay by plastic or pay her with cash. This was my first experience with the "new" way of paying. It calculates the tip for you and you can slide the scale to the percentage that you are comfortable with. The server sat in the booth with me to explain the device and to clear the table. (I was not crazy about that)

The food was pretty good but the curb side takeout is horrible. I had no dressing for my salad. The large nachos consisted on 6 small pieces and it did not include the skillet queso or sour cream. This is not the first time that our order was messed up. We won't be going back!

Chili's always treats me right. Decent food, good price, casual atmosphere and good beer specials. I am rarely disappointed, but don't come expecting fine dining. It is a chain, it can get loud, and the menu is the same at every location. That said, my standard order is skillet queso with chips, and a buffalo ranch sandwich. They are great.

Had lunch with my husband today and the food was pretty decent. Burger bites and delicious southwest chicken flatbread. However this place is in dire need of a good cleaning and better service. Server only came back once, after we got his attention, for a refill on our long-empty drinks. Lots of small bugs flying around our booth which was near the kitchen. Ladies room was filthy (vomit on, and at base, of toilet and no paper towels). This was brought to the attention of staff. May not return anytime soon.

Not the place to go if you want to have a conversation with anyone at your table. The place has terrible acoustics, and is ridiculously loud. The drinks (even the beer) seemed watered down, and the beer mugs are smaller than average. When one of our party told her the margarita was awful, she whined "You didn't like it?" She still charged for it, but had such a rotten disposition it was easier just to pay for it than to argue with her. And the food is just adequate at best. Not a place I'd return or recommend.

Me and my family have always had good service and food at this location. The kids love it and the wait staff are always great interacting with the kids. It's a chain restaurant so nothing off the charts but it is good and tastes like Chili's food I've had at any other location.
