    Applebee's is really stepping it up! I used to go all the time with my grandma, but now I go with my friends. Drinks at this location are awesome, servers are nice. Even the car side service is awesome. I like to try different methods to make sure I get the same results, so this time I even ordered online and it was ready on time nice and hot and slo cooked to perfection.

    I'm really impressed by the new menu! The appetizers are great, and cheap! The last couple of times, the waiters have been fantastic too! (And, I'm a harsh waiter critic) The reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because I've seen several children sitting at the bar outside. Also, children hanging out in the outside bar area.... I don't think this should be allowed.

    We were seated immediately on a Friday night. Server (Erica) was great. Wife's Sangria was big but my Crown and coke was served in a pint glass. App was burnt on top but came out luke warm. Entree's tasted ok but were small. Dessert took forever to get and with 2 kids in tow, that didn't go over well. Served the purpose of feeding the family but nothing special.

    Very poor service, food is hit or miss. Regulars ruin the experience for the rest. They feel they own the place and will quickly tell you off. One late Saturday evening the staff was more interested in watching and laughing it up to SNL- Saturday Night Live on TV in the bar area. Very disappointed in this location.

    It was the only place in walking distance and I didn't feel like getting back in the car. I've always found Applebee's to be boring and average and this one was no exception. I'm glad to see them serving some healthy items but would rather the food was just better. Add to that a poor draft beer selection (a half dozen on tap, all from Bud and Miller) and average is what it is.

    I have to say that I am a bit surprised by the low average rating that this location has because I really can't think of a better or more consistent location that I've ever been to. First off, the location is pretty well taken care of. The place was updated pretty recently and the staff keeps up on keeping the place looking nice. No weird smells to complain about which I've found at several of the other Applebee's I've eaten at over the years. As for food I have to commend them on improving their menu items and trying to keep things fresh. I love the 2 for $20 deal and that is what me and my wife always order. Recently they did a price increase which annoys me to no end, the 2 for $20 became 2 for $23 and I don't know why. A special shout out to Summer, one of the waitresses. She is so sweet and helpful and always takes such incredible care of us as we always order pick-up. She is the best part of this location, and the fact that she's been there as long as she has and is that great at her job should be commended and lauded. If you are her supervisor know that she is overdue for a promotion and a raise.

    2.5-stars. I came here for lunch after visiting a family member at the hospital. I don't know if it is the location (next to Baptist South), or if it is a front for drug money, but I am not sure how this place has survived as long as it has. It is a restaurant that has been trying to discover itself for almost 10 years. The food is okay, the service is decent, and the prices are what you would expect from Applebee's. What was missing was food that was amazing and/or something in the experience that made me say "wow!". The Chili's down the road has that, so I know it is possible to accomplish in Bartram Park! :)

    I like the way they have their patio transformed outside, what a difference from the previous experience of just throwing a bunch of chairs out there. So it's kind of like you're sitting under a big canopy outdoors accompanied with lots of TVs, high tops, food and beverages. They have happy hour all day every day so the appetizers in certain categories were half-price and some of the drinks. The Sciarrichi shrimp were tasty, the meatballs were average. The steak was a little overcooked but still tasty and their salads are good as well. On Fridays, they have karaoke if anybody is interested and on Saturdays they have open mike night. According to the friendly bartender, they do have some talented people that sing and others not so much LOL. I give this location a strong 3 stars because of the ambience. It's attached to a Starbucks so you could always go there for coffee and dessert afterwards as well.

    "Outdoor" bar was great. We were able to catch the game we wanted to watch. The bartender was nice and attentive. The queso we ordered was ridiculous. It was obviously heated in a microwave - chewy, burnt edge. It is the tiniest portion of queso you'll get anywhere and for twice the price! Stingy, Applebees!

    Met a old friend here last night, and we had a few drinks and each had a meal. I had the riblets with mashed potatoes, and it was OK. Nothing great. It had been a long time since I had visited an Applebee's, and more than likely I will not be rushing back. I am kind of sorry we ate here, as I usually like to try local fare while traveling. But this place was very conveniently located next to our hotel. Our server "Joe" was really a nice kid, who was very attentive!

    Server took more than a few minutes to get us our drinks (just water) and it was a slow Sunday afternoon. Bartender had no idea what he was doing. Kept just looking around and acting like he was making drinks. Employees were taking up 2 booths in the back with their own food and personal business. Server kinda ignored us and the manager paid more attention to us than our server.
