The Ice Cream Dr is an ice cream shop that sells the expected ice cream cones and milkshakes but also does BBQ apparently and has a great location in downtown Inverness. The interior is large enough for a number of people but certainly not huge--it went into what apparently was an old retail store and the space is very well-suited for an ice cream parlor. The array of flavors are pretty diverse, too, and the staff is very nice and outgoing. Every small town needs an ice cream parlor and Inverness with its lovely courthouse square and multitude of American flags certainly deserves a place like this to bring that old-fashioned feeling of Americana to life. The coffee ice cream shake I had was very creamy, very good. Certainly no complaints there. Be aware that they only have whole milk apparently on hand for shakes, so no vegan options nor skim milk I guess.

This is basically two reviews. One for the ice cream, and one for the BBQ. The BBQ is a new addition from what we were told, and was very plain. Even with additional sauce it was lacking flavor, and was a bit pricey for the portions. The BBQ beans were good as a side, but the serving was not much more than a shot glass size. 2 stars. The ice cream is excellent, with a huge selection of flavors, good serving sizes, and the normal options of cones, Sundays, and splits. 4 stars The staff is very friendly and helpful. Skip the BBQ, but definitely come for the ice cream.

Well compared to Orlando ice cream shops.. its a bit below par but its not bad. Not really a lot to say about this one.
