Great Breakfast/Brunch We've been to Cinnamon Sticks before but not to this location. Old location of the west side of Inverness became a Race Tack Gas Station but the did manage to recreate the original at this location. It maintains the original atmosphere in what I would guess, a slightly bigger space. The cusine is the same and has not suffered as is the service. We were down for a wedding and drove over from Hernando for breakfast the day of the wedding. My wife order fruit and also Oatmeal and was very pleased. Most fruit orders are only melons but this one had strawberries and a variety of other seasonal fresh and I mean very fresh, items. I ordered the Country Skillet which was Egg, Country Fried Steak etc and it was also very good and very filling. Good food and great service means I would readily recommend to anyone

This restaurant is good for large groups, breakfast, and bang for your buck. My husband and I ate breakfast here after snorkeling with the manatees at Crystal River. Our wait wasn't too bad that Valentine's morning considering how packed they were. Our server was prompt and our food delivered quickly. The portions were large for the cost. The flavors were just average; not too much seasoning on anything other than the home fries. So the eggs and veggies are reminiscent of bland, Waffle House oil. We ordered a cinnamon stick which was super buttery and flakey- loved that! Though a bit too sweet for me. This place rings true for you get what you pay for.

This is a wonderful place to eat, very well decorated, clean with awesome customer service. The breakfast skillets are one of the best items on the menu, great biscuits & gravy, veggie omelets, chicken wraps are fantastic even the kids chicken tenders with fries ( hand cut ) and cinnamon rolls to die for. Can not forget to try their house seasoning that's on the table and can be purchased. Very busy in the morning but worth the wait if you have to. Short wait times. See you there ;)

One of our favorite breakfasts in Inverness! Coming from Tampa, the prices are great for the portion you get. If you come on the weekend, make sure to come early to beat the rush (especially on Sunday!). Everything from their skillets, to oatmeal, to omelettes are delicious. Their harvest pancakes are really, really good. Once in a while, we get a few cinnamon sticks- sometimes they are delicious, while other times they seem a bit stale/dry so we tend not to get too many of their baked items. Overall, this is a great little diner worth stopping in!

We ate here 2 days in a row and both visits were excellent. Great food including their special farm fresh eggs. Friendly service from entire staff both days.

Best breakfast in town!! I don't know what took us so long to come here, but we'll be back soon. The eggs Benedict was delicious and we loved the home fries. This may sound weird, but the white toast was the best bread we've ever had! We loved it so much we asked to buy a loaf! Thickest, heaviest slice of white bread...chewy and wonderful. Service is outstanding and the food is great. Don't miss this place!!

If you like inconsistency this is the place for you. i have been totally satisfied and the total opposite. yesterday 1/22/15 my wife and i had a terrible lunch there. i have had their salads many times and yesterday was terrible.it was half the size of the salads i have gotten used to, and they gave me a saltine cracker with the salad instead of the nice heavy sesame seed crackers they normally used.the waitress was useless and never came back to check on the meal or the empty water glass. to top it off i thought i could get the bitter taste of a bad lunch with a cinnamon stick. it was as stale as a piece of wood. i have been back numerous times but i am going to think about going back again. if the waitress was attentive and came back as she should have, i would have sent the food back.

This place sells itself as one of those down home, grandma's- in- the- kitchen, type of places. Unfortunately it doesn't resemble one. We had lunch and breakfast there. (it's Inverness, there aren't a lot of options.) The lunch was ok. I was also starved from riding over 40 miles on my bike, so almost anything would be good. I ordered the fish and chips and they were acceptable. Definitely closer to Gorton's than homemade. The fries were crispy and tasty, though. Breakfast was totally opposite. My veggie omelet and homefries were barely edible. The omelet was overcooked, but the broccoli was barely cooked. The homefries were totally flavorless. I was hoping for so much more. The service was over-the-top nice, but the food was well below par.

I thought the restaurant was very tasty. We stopped on our way out of town from the Tri-Cooter triathlon. We wanted something tasty and easy, and this was it. We waited about 10 minutes, and it was worth it. The food was nothing fancy, but did the trick. For what we got, the prices were sooo low! The cinnamon rolls were huge, and we all split them with another person. I would go back again if I were driving through Inverness.

Just left the place. We stopped for lunch and it was great. The philly dip was good, lots of mushrooms and meat. My daughter got the double bacon cheeseburger and it was enormous! Overall a very good experience.

In one word, Fabulous. One of the best cinnamon rolls I've had. Coffee was very good. Coming back for lunch later today. Will fill y'all in then. Well back for lunch. Not bad, but not the standout like the pastries this morning. My wife got the Pastry stuffed Chicken Pot Pie, Tom 1 - 5, a 2. My mom and I got the fish-n-chips, a 3. So I have to reset my earlier ranking to a 4, will have to come back and try from the breakfast menu. Wait staff are very pleasant and prompt.
