Great smoothies
Java Surf was a nightly venture for my family while on vacation. Their clean shop, and great service kept us returning night after night. After our vacation we even bought a shaved ice maker to keep some of the memories of our time there. We don't have the recipes of the flavors that they have, but its a nice thing to remember that there is java surf, even if it is 1300 miles away.
I can't believe I had never come here but thanks to a good friend I've been introduced to a fine local establishment. good drinks, food, service. I'll keep coming in for some Java...

An excellent surprise! Although this restaurant is situated in an older strip mall it was well worth the drive down from Cocoa Beach. The interior is "old school" with pillars and hand painted walls and feels very cozy. You could almost imagine you are in a small cafe in Italy. The food was excellent and the pace was not the usual "hurry up" pace. Pricing was average for the beach side. Mid 20's for meals but well worth it. Good portions and excellent service. We will go back again for sure.
Amazing dinner! Wow, I am extremely impressed. Amazing hot bread with oil based dipping sauce and entree was wonderful. I had the pesto fettuccini and my boyfriend had chicken parm, both amazing. Friendly staff and quaint quiet place to have a meal at. Portions are perfect and food is wonderful. Will be returning soon!
This restaurant is quite literally the BEST Italian food in Brevard County. Coming in on a Sunday night, we did not find much crowd at the restaurant. The servers were courteous and well-dressed, as well as very caring about us as customers. The decor of the restaurant-inside- is to die for-- Painted with statues and fountains, it really makes you believe you are eating in a legitimate Italian restaurant, which you are, as the owner is actually from Italy! Honestly I loved the entrees much more than I liked the appetizers. The warm bread and oil they serve though just leaves you wanting more. The menu does span well for vegetarians, but not so much for vegans. The food does take a while to come, but it is WELL worth it. The Tortellini Nonna, vegetarianised, is fantastic. The Gnocchi has the wonderful flavor of the cheese and both are well complimented by the other. For the amount of food served, and how good it is, the food deems pricey. My only complaint would be that the women's restroom is like a maze. You have to go thorough three doors to get to the restroom, and the stall door lock is broken. Get that fixed, and you'll literally be the most flawless Italian restaurant I've ever been to. Well done.

Great little family run Cafe We had a great breakfast with all home made items A Bagel instead of toast yumm yumm We will be back
First timers, wife and I were impressed. First the food was great. We both ordered different breakfast sandwiches. She had an egg, bacon, and cheese on a bagel. I had a bagel and lox. Very good! The service was very friendly. And, the entire place was clean! We could not spot dust anywhere, we even looked atop picture frames. Good job to the owners and staff.
Aw shucks... 2 Stars because we just didn't have a good experience. Long wait times, forgotten orders, inedible bacon... whomp whomp... A few friends and I had just driven an hour to the beach and wanted to grab breakfast first. We tried one favorite diner and the wait looked a bit too long so we ended up at Beachside Cafe. We were seated right away and a funny, charismatic fella came by to take our drink orders. 10 Minutes later a woman came by to take our orders- starting with drinks... again. She apologized for the delay and proceeded to get our drink orders for the second time (had it not been rung up before? Who knows!). 15 Minutes later she ran over with dishes and parts of our meals, missing a few parts to a few of the meals and letting us know that they were out of sausage so they gave us a patty instead. I asked if I could have double bacon on mine instead and since my patty hadn't come anyway (one of the missing parts of the dishes), she obliged. I have to admit, I was pretty underwhelmed with everything. The scrambled eggs were bland and luke warm, the waffles were very standard (straight mix from a box), and then there was the bacon. I'm a big fan of bacon. Soft, crunchy, I don't care- I love it all. But this was the first time I've ever taken one bite and left all of the bacon on the plate. It was slimy and was a yellow color. Really inedible in my opinion. Finally, most of us ended up with most of what we ordered (not all of it). The woman was literally running from the kitchen to the tables and apologized over and over again about the delay and getting things wrong. At first, I appreciated the fact that they knew that things weren't going well. But after several more apologies and paying for the food I realized that what I really wanted was an explanation. Something like "I'm sorry- our other cook called out!" or "our server is out sick". Apologies are all fine and well, but let me know this is unusual and there's a reason it's this way. Otherwise, I'm left to wonder if they know it's not working, but they don't know how to correct it. Hopefully this was a fluke!

Get a skillet. You won't be disappointed! The country fried steak skillet (while it may be a heart attack on a plate) is absolutely, ridiculously, deliciously sinful. It is so good. The Polska skillet, also fabulous. Avocado skillet? Bomb. Benedicts? Really good. Beachside Cafe is a great value --- a TON of food for a great price. Awesome service. Our go-to for breakfast beachside!
Solid place for breakfast in this little cafe. The portions are way big at a reasonable price with quality food and super friendly staff. I had the corned beef hash Benedict and the has was nice and crispy and the eggs were poached properly which is difficult to do in my book. The girlfriend had the avocado skillet which she said was yummy but again so big that there was plenty to box up and take home. If in the area give this place a try. You really can't go wrong.
My wife and I stopped in on our way up the coast for lunch after seeing Yelp reviews. Staff were friendly and quickly brought us drinks and took our order. Coleen took care of us and she was very friendly and helpful throughout our lunch. We came about 15 minutes before close (they're open 7am-2pm as they only serve breakfast and lunch) and I appreciated that they had no problem with our late arrival. We ordered Caesar salads, an Italiano, and a Reuben. The Reuben came on their homemade Rye bread. Both were fantastic! The bread was warm and toasty on both with generous portions of meat. The Caesar salads were pretty standard, but they had a good lettuce to dressing ratio, which earns major points in my book! Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend this little cafe to anyone looking for lunch in the area!

Yummy to my tummy! I found this place 9 months ago on a work trip. Once I found it, I wanted to eat here every night. I had never had Cuban food before ... And now I am hooked. For 9 months I have craved their food... And now I am back and it is just as good as I remember.
Amazing! Everything was delicious. If you don't eat here, you are doing yourself a disservice!
We came here for lunch on a recommendation. We had the empanadas as an appetizer one beef and one chicken. It was good but a little salty. The Cuban bread with dipping sauce was good. I had the grilled grouper with beans and rice. The grouper flavor was good however it was over salted. They made a common mistake in the mahi in that they left the bloodline in the fish. My husband had the Cuban sandwich. He said it was excellent. It was Large so we took half if it home. We also had the flan which was very good. Overall it was a good rating. The waitress was very nice and it was very clean on the inside.

A Starbucks at the Beach - (automatic five stars) Order your favorite Starbucks concoction and walk across the street and your standing on the beach. I've been to a lot of Starbucks but never one that requires them to sweep sand off the floor. This is a great location staffed by happy people (all other Starbucks locations must be sooooo jealous). The parking in the back of the store can be a little cramped but it's not that bad and has a great view there is also plenty of space to park your surf board. Over-all this place earns the five stars without the beach.
I usually try to avoid this location because of the location. I am a fan of Starbucks so I cannot complain on the store or the brand. My drinks are always hot, fresh, and great tasting. They employees are nice and quick to get your drinks out. The decor is clean and they have a decently small selection of mugs. My biggest complaint is the location. Being right on the beach is a nightmare!!! Anytime of day there is a crowd. Good luck getting a parking spot during the morning rush too. There is a very small parking lot in front but it's hard to navigate when you have people making their own spots and others trying to grab a spot like you. I usually visit this location in the late afternoon. Lunch time isn't easy either since it shares a parking lot with Stone Cold Creamery.
Stopped in for chips and a cold drink....over $7!!!!.....but they did let me use the rest room....so I guess that justifies it

Absolutely loved the Tirolese and had the chickpea and avocado dip with fresh cut veggies. The option of outside seating is nice and am looking forward to stopping by for some live music. They also allow BYOB for beer and wine, which is very nice. One of Indialantic's best locally owned restaurants.
Great find! Walking by to go to another restaurant, a patron dining outside recommended the place- having the best cappuccino and lively Italian owners, so we went in. So glad we did, incredible hospitality, remarkable cappuccino and amazing pastry! Go!!
We enjoyed breakfast here. It is a small cafe and on a weekday morning there was only one other table busy. We came for the gluten free pancakes, which were a treat. The chocolate chip pancakes were like a big soft cookie and my daughter loved them! I had GF pancakes with fresh blueberries, eggs & sausage. The GF pancakes were a good size and only $1 extra, which is reasonable. Our coffee was good & my husband received a 3rd refill to go- nice ending.

This is the place for Mediterranean food. There is a wide variety and it is all delicious. Be sure to try the Eggplant Caprese appetizer and don't miss the jasmine rice. Don't avoid this place for lunch- having Gyros here today will be cheaper than if we had gotten them at the mall!
Skewers was very delicious! As a Turkish woman I really liked their Mediterranean food. It came pretty close to the real deal. The hummus was amazing. My boyfriend and I had the butterfly combo and the Mediterranean shrimp. Both recommended by Joey and they were delicious. He was a great server, very quick with his order and friendly. Will recommend to friends.
Excellent food and service. I visit skewers very frequently and never had a bad meal. Portions are always large food is perfectly prepared. Great service and friendly staff. You will not be disappointed if you come here

This review is for a trip we took to my wife's home town last year. I remembered to write this (belatedly) after scooting around for ingredients to make my version of IFG's Onion Crusted Grouper, which I am having a serious crave for. We read the reviews of this place and decided to give it a go. The genius who came up with the concept for cooking grouper this way needs to have a place in the seafood cooking hall of fame. Crispy and balanced spicing on the outside with tender, moist, and subtle flavoring in the firm grouper fillet. The sides are average. Indescribable, but I'll try to approximate it to, if nothing else, purge my system of turkey and dressing later this week.
I waited a long time to dine at Islands and I'm sorry that I did. I tried the jerked grouper and my wife had the blackened grouper. Both were awesome, but try the jerked if you prefer spicier foods. The potatoes were also very tasty. My only criticism is the vegetables lacked flavor, which seems to be a common problem. The prices are far less than other fine dining establishments and I found the quality of the food to be higher than those other restaurants.
Just had to change my review. Old ownership was bad but the new ownership is great. Had one of the best meals I've ever had on my recent trip back to the sunshine state. My fish dinner was so fresh it slapped me in the face. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to come back.

Very clean restaurant chain..employees are usually friendly. I suggest going before noon if you are in the mood for lunch. Being right off A1A it's packed around 11:30 until 1:30. You can call ahead which is easier, and they are usually good at getting the orders correct.
