Visited on a Tuesday night with a party of 5. Only ones in the place. "Uh oh", you say? Not to worry. Excellent service. Even better fried seafood, Greek salad and gyros. Huge portions at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Coming from New England, we were always looking for good seafood; Portu-Greek was recommended for their clams. We have been regulars ever since. Their fried clams, clam chowder and steamers are better than most places in New England. they also have clam rolls and lobster rolls that are amazing. Now that Robert Irvine has spruced up the place and was wise enough not to change the menu, the décor is as good as the food

The reason why this Restaurant Impossible Make Over was successful was #1 Lynn(the best designer)-He puts the most effort and thought into remolding the restaurants, anytime he does a remodel the restaurants look classy not cheap like so many of the re-makes do #2 The familys not on there last leg of money and they really do care and have not reverted back to there old microwaving ways...I am so happy that this restaurant did benefit from Restaurant Impossibles makeover! There has not been a bad review yet since the make over!

Three of us had an excellent dinner of Greek food and seafood. We started with a delicious appetizer of calamari that was fried in a light batter and very fresh. We also had a bowl of kale soup that was garlicky & delicious. I had fresh whole belly clams with coleslaw and french fries and my friend had the gyro dinner. The quality was exceptional, the service was excellent, and prices extremely reasonable. A great place!

The food was great. The gyros were amazing and the salad was garden fresh. Only downside was the fact that they were out of 1/2 the wines on the wine list and that sodas were a whopping 2.50 each. That's $12.50 of my bill for a family of 5.

Everything we ate was excellent. Couldn't get enough of the lobster bisque. The spanikopita, saganaki and tzatziki sauce were all wonderful. Also had the best vegetarian eggplant mousaka. The dish was very light, not heavy and greasy like most places. We will definitely go back, but next time we'll save room for dessert.

When I heard that this place was redone by Restaurant Impossible, I had to come see Robert Irvine's handy work. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful! They did a great job. Staff is friendly and the Greek salad was pretty tasty :) Only thing I would change in it would be to make the onions a lil smaller. There menu is a bit limited, and they open at 4, which is probably due to the huge changes that just took place. I heard they will be expanding it soon, and may even open for lunch. Anyone rolling thru Hudson, FL should check this restaurant out!

For the past two years, we've visited this restaurant on several occasions while visiting the area on vacation. This year, 2012, we were finally able to try their famous pot-belly clams. My wife ordered the Souvlaki pork dinner, the kids ordered fish and fries, and I ordered the fried clams. We all enjoyed our meals. My wife said she wished the pork was a little saltier, but the meat was so tender and nice. My youngest daughter (4 yo) ate half of my clams! I was going to order more, but the portion was perfect for sharing and I didn't need to. The restaurant itself is not very fancy looking. Inside, it's more of a cafeteria-style restaurant. We actually like it, since we have kids and feel at ease there. The waiter is very friendly and hard working. I've seen this guy handle most of the restaurant one day last year when another wait staff called in sick. He was professional and took care of everyone in a timely manner. A great place to go if you like clams or Greek food. The tzatziki was awesome, too!

A simple, family style place with very good food and excellent service. Family owned and operated, we ate there for our second time last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Their Gyro meat is a lamb and beef mix, nicely spiced. The chicken and pork souvlaki are both delicious, very juicy and tender. The salads have been fresh and crisp both times, and the Saganaki Flaming Cheese as an appetizer was the perfect touch!

If you are in Hudson, try this place out. A pretty solid Gyro. It is not one hundred percent lamb I do not believe, but still good meat. The chicken Slovakia is flavorful. Portions are a good size. Maybe a little expensive for the meals, but the individual items are a good price. six people about 68 dollars. Take out. Try the onion rings! Oh my.

I visited this restaurant a few times while on vacation. The gyro and souvlaki were excellent. In the top 5 I've ever had. They had a nice crowd for a a Friday night, but the service was still impeccable. The waiter was friendly and attentive. A nice touch...the chef came around to ask how we were enjoying our meal. Very impressed for such a mom and pop spot.

Why drive to Tarpon Springs? Delicious authentic Greek cuisine at reasonable prices found here in this quaint little spot by Hudson Beach. I have never been able to try moussaka until now due to the ground beef it's usually prepared with. They serve a meatless version that was very rich and tasty! The Greek dressing and Tzatziki sauce were to die for! Thursday's have a nice $3 selection of freshly prepared pita's and Hubby and grandson enjoyed 3 different types as well as steamers and a fried clam roll. Great service and live piano music make this family owned business a must try!

Very friendly staff. The steamers where great. Helpings are huge. The clam plate was ok. I wasn't too keen on the batter but it's hard to find whole belly clams in Florida. I will come back to try the fish and chips.

Ate here twice. Yum! Had the Portu-Greek Gyro (shrimp and sausage) it was excellent. Tasty Flavors together. About 4 large shrimp and a few slices of sausage. He wanted something cool after hot day on water so ordered American-Greek Salad. Homemade dressing was awesome with creamy feta cheese. Warm pita sliced on side. Will be back. Service was a little slow during evening but very apologetic and friendly staff. Lunch was faster. Bummer they only open W-Sa but we will be back!!!!

Excellent service. Good prices. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious. Fresh tastes. Nice appearance. Fries were fantastic. Not too much and certainly more than enough portions. Thank you for a great first experience here.

I watch restaurant impossible and was excited to eat here. The inside of the restaurant was decorated beautiful , we asked to sit on the patio , what a disappointment. The patio's deck looked like it was going to fall into the dirty water , it was not enjoyable. The service was great ,but the food was disappointing. The chicken was dry , the sauce on the gyro was overwhelming .Over all , the experience was not good.

My boyfriend and I had the most fabulous meal. He had a greek gyro and I had the moussaka, it was wonderful! The service was excellent, our server was Priscilla and she was great. We have eaten there twice since, although it was take out, we have yet to have a complaint. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
