After having had 2 failed attempts at getting pizza in Port Richey, this place was 3rd on the list. Walked in, placed order for one large cheese pizza and 12 garlic knots (bread) waited almost an hour for it bc thean i placed the order with couldnt find me. I was sitting in the restaurant. Got the food, garlic bread was cold and hard, pizza was mediocore. I would recommend ordering ahead and requesting hot food.

We tried the special which includes a pizza, wings, salad and soda. It's a great bargain at 24.95 and would feed 4 easily. The wings were good but spicy for mild. The salad is HUGE and has lots of toppings. I love traditional NY style pizza with a thin crust but not like a cracker. This one didn't disappoint. We'll definitely be back.

I'd had pizza from Sal's when people I work with in the ER ordered it. I saw a review for the cheese steak. I figured I'd try it. I got the cheese steak special with french fries and soda. Only $6.99 and the cheese steak with onions is now the best I've had in FL!!! Huge portion of french fries. Soda with free refills too. I highly recommend this place!! Tammy, my waitress was a sweetheart!!!

I've gotten pizza on three occasions from here, and I've dropped a mental star each time I've visited. The first two times we got carry out. The first time was AMAZING. I loved the pizza and the pizza rolls. Everything was perfect. The next time was almost as good but not quite. The pizza was more dry and the crust was sadly un-yheasty. Our last visit was a little disappointing. This time we ate in. The interior is nice for a strip mall pizza parlor and the staff is very friendly. However, the pizza was dry and the crust was flat. It was also very powdery and flavorless. I was pretty disheartened. I have no clue why the quality varied with this. All of our orders were around noon on a Saturday or Sunday. I'll probably be back once more to make sure the poor quality isn't the norm. Otherwise, I would suggest that you at least try it, because the first visit was some of the best pizza we had in FL.

Great food! Pizza is awesome! Philly Cheesesteak is absolutely the best around. I've had all the other cheeseteak places in Hudson/SpringHill and Sal's is the best. And, it's inly $6.50. Huge portions. Hidden little gem.

Pizza is delicious. Delivered hot and fresh. Tonight we ordered a large Stromboli with pepperoni, sausage and onion. Was enough for 3 people and we still had a piece left. The owners and staff are very friendly and they always remember your name.

OMG soooo good! Calzones are very flavorful, be warned they are VERY VERY BIG, so be prepared to share. The spaghetti with tomato sauce rival any fancy Italian eatery.

The pizza was pretty good and I enjoyed the canoli. If i were to give one tip, I would say ask for your slice extra hot! It really needed something, and it left me wanting some real, good pizza. I am not sure if I will revisit.

Good, not great. The burger was pretty good. Lettuce is extra. Tomato is extra. Pickles were extra. Mushrooms will set you back .50. Seemed a lil silly. And personalyl for casual by the slice places I like to order at the counter and get my own food, but (at least for dinner) you have to have a waitress. No major complaints though.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century.
