I consider myself to be a very good critic of pizza. I am an Italian with an insatiable craving for good pizza. I have had pizza from all over the country so I know my pizza. Romano's Pizza is a small locally owned joint that offers a variety of foods however I have only had their pizza. The operation doesn't look like much but let me tell you they have the best and some of the biggest pizzas for the money in Homestead. If you were looking for a good New York style pizza you would be throwing your money away to go anywhere else. In my opinion they are not charging enough, a comparable pizza will cost you easily $5 more at Papa you know who's. I have recommended this establishment to many friends and all have become Romano's regulars. Do your self, your wallet, and you taste buds a favor and choose Romano's Pizza.

I ordered a Hawaiian pizza from Romano's the other day. Overall I enjoyed it. I loved the crust, it was thin, crispy, and perfect. The overall taste and flavor was good but my only complaint was there wasn't much sauce which made me knock their rating down from four stars.

So being the day after Thanksgiving, the wanted nothing to do with the leftovers, so we decided to order pizza. We usually go to Corrina's, Mamma Mia's or Portofino, but I wanted to try something new!! Well I can report that we were happily surprised! We got an X-large cheese ( picky kids) and a dozen garlic rolls. The pizza was huge and had great flavor. Can only imagine how much better a pizza with toppings will be! The garlic rolls were small little bundles of garlic smothered dough! Yum :-) We will definitely be ordering again. It was also very economical and the guys at the counter were very nice!

There was a change in ownership. I ordered a ham pizza. I have high blood pressure so I have to be carefull with how much salt I consume. I had to stop eating before I finished the first slice and threw out the rest of the pie. It was that salty, it wasn't the ham that caused the pie to be so salty. I will never go back.

It's been five years since my original 4-star review but after being let down the last three consecutive times I felt the need to provide an update. The quality took a serious downturn for some reason. On my last visit the pizza was burned underneath, about a 5 inch diameter. So bad that the first 2-3 inches of each slice were garbage. I'm not sure I am willing to give them another chance.

Best pizza I have had since I moved to south Florida. Don't be fooled by the small store front and great prices. This pizza really did remind me of New York , where I'm from. Plus the garlic bread and sauce where awesome.

Not a fan of this place. The pizza looked like Little Cesar's and had a lawyer advertisement on the front of the box, bigger than the Romano's logo. Pizza tasted alright but the crust was flimsy. The inside of the place is sketchy and was being remodeled or something and smelled like strong chemicals. This isn't even close to being the best pizza in Homestead. I'd rather go to Domino's. Staff wasn't friendly at all and barely said a word to me throughout the transaction.

I got this pizza the day I came to visit my boyfriend. I hadn't ever went to homestead or miami, so it was a change. But this place is a little pricy, but it is very good. It fills you up quick, and it is very good pizza!!. The cheese pizza is to die for. I love this place. I love going here. This and papa johns is my favorite.!. Service is very quick too! Go there if you defiantly have the money :)
