Not bad, but nothing special. Pancakes were over worked and syrup was cheap and thin. Prices are high for what you get. We'd go back, because the location was convenient, but wouldn't rush. Be warned, they only take cash.

Breakfast at this restaurant is just outstanding . It's a small space but big on good value food. Best breakfast on AMI

Minnie's is my go to spot on the island for breakfast. Waitresses are incredibly helpful and always friendly. The food here is very good. Their pancakes are dynamite and the best around. Be sure to go on a weekday because the tourists and locals flock here during the weekends.

Minnie's was a cute little breakfast/lunch place that had waitresses that served with a smile. I had the blubbery pancakes, they were so good! The cake was nice and fluffy and the blueberries were fresh and juicy!

Very nice place for lunch. We stopped here after our flight. Friendly service. Food made to order. I will return. Worth a try.

Best place for breakfast on the island. Staff is friendly and efficient and the food is great... nothing fancy, just really well prepared and tasty. It can get busy, so be prepared to wait a bit, but hey, you're on a tropical island, relax and enjoy the weather!

Minnie's was recommended by local servers and they were right. Best breakfast around these parts. Great service, intimate country feeling, good food, and descent prices. Remember to take cash! Recommended for breakfast.

This is a dive restaurant with ok food. We spent $25 on an omelet, small sausage gravy and biscuit, and a side of corn beef hash. The omelet was nothing special. The gravy was ok, but the corn beef has tasted like it was from a can. There was a group of 10 that arrived at the same time as us, so we had to wait a long time for our food. Cash only, which we didn't know and had to go get cash first. This would not be a place I would return to.

I could have sworn I wrote a review of this place years ago the first time I was here but I guess not. Hands down the best breakfast on the Island. Get the Western Sand dollar sandwich...an oversized English muffin with ham, egg, peppers, onions and cheese. And don't forget their home fries...super yummy. I haven't quite figured out the best time to arrive at Minnie's because it is always packed but 10am seems to be the best option. Be prepared to wait. Or lower your social anxiety level and sit at the community table and make new friends. The same ladies have worked there for years. Also open for lunch. Just go.

We split a spinach, tomato and swiss omelette that was fantastic, filled with plentiful, flavorful ingredients. For "dessert" we split a waffle topped with strawberries and whipped cream. Even the sourdough toast and iced tea were great. We were there on a slow day so we got plenty of personal attention. I highly recommend Minnie's.

We've been visiting Anna Maria for many years. We've pasted Minnie's many times. But this last visit we decided to give them a try. Wow were we surprised. What great, warm, friendly service. The place is small, but as they said everything you can tell is homemade and freshly cooked. Costs were very reasonable. We highly recommend if you're in the area and have four (4) people or less in your party.

Get the Sand Dollar: simple egg and cheese on English muffin. Don't overlook the simple goodness of home cooking. This place is small and only accepts cash, but tastes like home cooking! A staple for a local and the tourist!

I had breakfast here based on the recommendations on Yelp. Minnie's is a small plain old fashioned cafe. Any one of the girls could have been named Minnie just by looking at their appearance. Obviously some Yankees fans as their accents seem to hail from the north. Breakfast was simple but the only thing freshly cooked were my scrambled eggs. The hash browns and sausage were precooked and reheated. I know this because I was the only order placed and my food came out in the time it took to cook the eggs. The food wasn't bad and the company wasn't bad either.

Good breakfast but not exceptional. Prices are inexpensive, service is good, and this seems to be a local favorite. Tip: order your fried eggs 'over medium' and not 'over easy' unless you want them runny.

Four stars because of the price. Had breakfast. Food was good, not great. Tight quarters for seating. Good prices. Cash only, which was fine for us but should be noted. Sausage patties a little bland. Eggs a little under cooked. We ordered over medium and they were pretty runny even for over easy. Potatoes were very good as were the pancakes. I'm from Maine so I thought the blueberries were so-so, but I'm spoiled.

Workers have been there forever...watch their you tube video for history of the restaurant! Bring cash as they don't accept credit card. Food is great- blueberry pancakes, waffles, eggs and sausage links. Yum!

One of the best breakfasts I've had! And I've had bisquits and gravy everywhere. Minnies were top notch! Hash browns were very good. Sausage links were not your store-bought links. They were large, and maybe from some butcher shop, really good!! The ONLY downside were the grits, bland, mediocre, and not necessary in the Big Easy ( big/all inclusive item). I'll be back soon.

Everything was good, nothing exceptional. I had the meat lover's (something like that) omelet with ham, bacon, sausage etc. It was huge and pretty tasty, Hash browns were frozen but cooked ok. Husband's eggs over medium were properly cooked. Just nothing too outstanding. Waitress did seem to pay more attention to the "locals". We were not offered refills on soda or ice tea until dishes were being cleared.

Very, very good breakfast. Prices no worse than Perkins. The staff were very friendly. Cozy place!

Went here for breakfast with family. Was not impressed. Inexpensive, mediocre food, but good service. Very casual, small place. Cash Only! I would not come back here, the food wasn't good (under and over cooked, no flavor), the only good part was the service because our waitress was very entertaining and talkative with us.

Whenever we go to Holmes Beach, we try to fit Minnie's in. All of the servers are friendly, efficient and extremely welcoming. We have never had a bad breakfast or lunch. The food and fruit is fresh and reasonably priced. Their layer cakes are outstanding! We will continue to return whenever in the area. Minnie's is a gem!

Sorry but I was very disappointed in my meal. My eggs benedict were pretty boring and I ate just half of my meal. That's somewhat of an unusual thing for me to do and is the reason that Minnie's gets just one star from me.
