I love this place, and the house slices are worth every penny. Their pizza crust is like crack its so good. For a while I was going there 3 times a week for pizza. I had to stop going because I was getting fat. I will be back as soon as I lose some weight. I couldn't tell you about their other dish's but I'm sure they are good. Thanks TPC for getting me fat, and I loved every minute of it.

Got to our condo late, and starving. This place was really close. We had the display pizza slices, warmed up in the oven. Even those were quite tasty. While waiting, a fresh out if the oven pie with tomato and basil was served to a couple next to me. It smelled delicious. I'd love to try a fresh pie.

I am broad-sided by all these reviews honestly. This was top 3 on my list of great tasting pizza joints in all my travels from Italy, Europe, Brazil, Chicago, New York, you name it, this place had the pizza I dream about when I think about pizza. I much suggest the Pomodosa pizza which has olive oil base instead of tomato as that truly is delicious! Then we put pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapeños on it along with the fresh basil and tomatoes that came on it and that was some of the best pizza I've ever had! When you walk in, yes it's a small place, but they have super large pizza slices on about 24" pizzas in a glass encasing as you enter. At first they looked not cooked and I realized they actually model it somewhat after California Pizza Kitchen where you pick what type you want and they go back and make it fresh from scratch (takes about 30 min for a full pizza). My wife and I had the Pomodosa as I described and went back the next night. We just got back from a cruise with Royal Caribbean and stayed at the Westin Diplomat (highly suggested!!!) and walked to this place and I must say perhaps best pizza I have ever had, I'm not kidding, please try it and you will see for yourself. I wasn't paid nor do I work for them (I live in Texas). I just want them to get the review they deserve.

The pizza is great! Reminds me of authentic NY pizza, thin, greasy and delicious. It's kind of small and the tables don't get cleaned as often as they should, probably, but it's a really busy place.

The person who wrote that toppings are just thrown on the pizzas was right. I ordered a pepperoni pizza but it didn't really look too appealing and because it was the only one I liked of flavors I just went with it (go look at my picture). If possible, I would actually give this place 0 stars. Their pizzas just look so stale... My fiancé ordered a cheese pizza and his looked better but was still not the best. I would of much rather ordered from any chain pizza place. In conclusion, don't go here because the pizza will not be satisfying.

Ok the first time I ever tried out Tony's pizza it was about three years ago before it got remodeled and I was excited to grab a slice ! I went in and it was empty it's Monday afternoon .. The guy at the register was slouched over the counter and stared at me the whole time I was looking over the menu and I ordered a white pizza ! 5.25?! What the hell ! After he put my pizza in the oven he slouched over the counter and started watching tv and then some guy came from the back graves my pizza and never said hey or hi ! I asked for Parmesan cheese and it seemed like the two gentlemen were mad I did so .. The guy who kept slouching over phone rang and he picked it up right Infeont of me like if I was a nobody .. Never told me goodbye or anything ! The pizza was overpriced and it wasn't even good ! Yuck never again

After getting into the Hollywood area last Wednesday night around 9pm, my fiance and I were looking for an easy dinner so that we could decompress at our hotel. Tony's is across the street from The Tides which is where we were staying so we ordered a medium Hawaiin pizza figuring it was kind of hard to mess up. We were wrong. For $18 I would rather get three 711 pizzas next door. I would even be bold enough to bet that the cashiers there would be friendlier than at Tony's.

Love this place the pizza slices are huge and the ppl are nice and respectful. You can't go wrong with 2 cheese slices for under 5.25

Good New York style pizza in south Florida. The slices are HUGE. Salad was good. It is a dive but that is where you find the best food.

Good cheap big thin slices of greesy deliciousness!! Fast service. Fresh food. Nice employees. Walking distance to the diplomat hotel. Great little pizza joint!

Good prices for the pizza and wings we had. I would rate the pizza an 8 and the wings a 6 (5 is average). I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and the taste was phenomenal. One person in our group preferred a more fully cooked pizza. I can see where they are coming from but still thought it was an 8. I called in the order and they were pleasant on the phone. When I picked it up they were prompt and courteous.

First time visiting Hollywood Beach. It was late so ordered from Tony's for delivery as it's very close to the Condo. Language barrier made it difficult to order as well. After 2 hours they didn't show so we called it a night. Woke up hungry however from these reviews looks like we may have dodged a bullet. Live and Learn!!

Stopped in for pizza after walking around the area a bit. They have a counter where you can choose a huge piece of pizza by the slice. They warm it up, it's very thin crust with a nice crunch to the bottom. Two slices and two cans of coke, just over $10. Even though it wasn't busy with diners inside, the phone rang non stop for orders and lots of customers came in for pickup orders. Pizza was good, just what we needed after a day of travel. They also have lasagna, salads, ziti, etc. cute place, very busy.

I was staying across the street at the Westin diplomat. Ordered from Tonys for dinner. It was a large pizza half plain half pepperoni. It was delivered at a decent time but the pizza itself was pretty poor. Due to crazy prices of food at resorts Tonys is an option that my be within your budget that actually delivers to the hotel but if it is possible for you to drive a few miles you will find a pizza place worth the drive at a great price range.

Decent pizza. The slices are huge & prices are good! Definitely worth checking it out

I agree with Shannon; this place is gross (both food and literal dirt on the glass by the pizza). But the MOST disgusting part of this place is the wicked witch that answers phones and takes orders. In my profession, I deal with rude and obnoxious people regularly, but she takes the cake. Word of advice Tony: fire her and open a pastry shop.

    (1)
  • Peter M.

I will have to agree with Shannon and Gil, this place is not worth stopping at. The pizza was not very good at all, but the calzone was passable. There are too many other better places on the beach then to stop here. The service was slow even though it was not very crowded.

Why was my phone dying just when the group I was with got hungry. I quickly tried to get into yelp but it kept loading so off we went for a walk on the Broadwalk. Usually it's always Nick's or Florio's that we stop at to eat but they wanted to look. We ended up here. The waitress came over to the table and said "Are you ready?" I told her we needed a minute as we just got the menus. In the meantime we started with drinks. I wanted hot tea but they don't serve tea. The others wanted water and the waitress came back and said that they didn't have ice."Are you ready, she asked?" I said, just a minute as we were deciding on what supreme 18inch we wanted. A restaurant without ice??? Anyway, I told her to bring them bottles of water since that is what they wanted in the first place. She came right back with the bottles of water and asked "Are you ready?" Wow, do you think she was a little pushy? We ordered our food. The ceasar salad came and it looked worse than something out of a drive through window. Just plain dry romaine with fake parmesean poured over the top and brown croutons. I qujickly saw that one of the plates for the pizza was dirty. It literally had dried tomato sauce on it. Then my daughter got her soup and her spoon was dirty. Yuck! The waitress came back, I asked her name as she had never given it. She took back the salad. Then she had another waitress take care of us. The next waitress was nice and our pizza came and it was pretty good. Then the check came. They charged me for the salad. It took 20 minutes to clear up the problem and get olut of there. Why am I giving them 2 stars again? Oh, yes the pizza it was pretty good. If I had only read the reviews. Always trust your fellow yelpers!

Nice hole in the wall spot, pizza is super cheap at $2.50 - $3.50 a slice( slices are the biggest you've ever seen) beers are only $2.00. Most of the Eastern European staff comes off as cold and rude, i think its just their nature. the verbiage they use does indicate they're friendly people. I had two slices ( this would easily be equivalent to an entire grocery store oven pizza) and two beers for 13 bucks. Big Slices!

  • Akili N.

My son and I were ignored

    (1)
  • Margot C.

I love Tony's New York style pizza. The slices are huge and thin, and easily fold over so I can eat it like a real New Yorker. And the fact that the slices are only $2.50 just makes me want to YELP how much I love this place.

Keep walking! There are a lot of pizza places on Hollywood Beach, we stopped at this one simply because our 3 year old was out of energy and wanted a bite to eat. The service was good, the prices were decent, even for that area known for tourist gouging.. but when our pizza arrived it smelled like the cheese had gone sour, being the brave soul I am, I tried it, took one for the team- hoping perhaps, they used asiago or a fresh Parma that was fooling us with this rancid odor. Nope. it was rancid. What kind of "Chef" serves food that is clearly unfit for human consumption? and its not even REAL or hand tossed, an inspection of the pie shows the tell tale markings of frozen prepared pizza. So, Tony wants you to pay 15.99 for a a cheese pizza and a pitcher of beer. Good deal? But the beer is just Bud, and the pizza is spoiled and probably very, very old. The waitress was nice. its not her fault. She didn't charge us for the pizza, but made us pay full price for everything else, which I think really sucks, like everything else there. So, keep walking folks, there's plenty of food besides Tony the Pizza Chef.

Pizza wasnt bad, it could of had better sauce but the pizza came to us uncut, which was a problem since it was delivered to the hotel which we have no knives

  • Katie D.

The staff were a-holes! took 15 minutes to get one slice. They pizza sucked but the crust was pretty good. BTW after i signed my name on the receipt and started to walk away i heard the lady sarcastically say, thanks for the tip..... B*tch i didn't tip you're lazy a**!!!

  • Teresa R.

Do not go here. It is unsanitary. I will be calling the Health Department to inspect. I was staying at the Crowne Plaza next door and thought to try, convenient I thought. We opened the box for the next slice a small roach was crawling around after my friend and I had eaten pizza slice. Gross!

Service was quick, pizza was great--probably in my top 5 pizza places I've been to around the country. Seemed clean and priced righ.

I actually really enjoyed this place. It's open until the wee hours of the morning and delivers. I had their lasana which was extremely tastey and my friends liked their pizza and chicken parmigiana. They have great dinner options where if you buy one, you get the second 1/2 off. Their garlic rolls are fabulous. It's one of those hole in the wall places you need to ask around about to find. I liked it! They got docked 1 star for taking a really really long time with our order (there were 5 who ordered pasta dishes so I understand there will be a wait) and not picking up the phone when we wanted a late night pizza delivery.

    (4)
  • Gil S.

Rather nasty even by all-night pizza standards, but to it's credit it's straightforward friendly and honest. Has caught up with the late 20th century of chicken, sundried tomatoes, pesto, fresh herbs, and their brethren. But somehow all that modernity is no tastier than the roadkill-on-a-plate from decades before. Crust is pasty, undercooked, and too sweet. Main claim is that it's the only 24-hour joint on this little stretch of paradise, one of the few places at all outside of the war-of-the-worlds condo stomp in this stretch of south Florida.

  • Shannon P.

Total Garbage. I didn't want to give this place a star. The employees are mean/angry they will take it out on you and it's dirty. The pizza slices are reheated to your "like". Disgusting. Thinking about it makes my skin crawl.

By far the WORST pizza delivery experience ever. I am disgusted by my experience, these people are SOOO unprofessional, from the moment they pick up the phone, done to the delivery experience. They read out my CC number which is very unprofessional when there are customers right in front of them. I don't want people having my CC info?! That is private information, who does that?! Never head of such a thing. Then, I get COLD pizza delivered to me! Stiff cheese, and cold pizza! I had a guest over and her and her little boy were starving! So I call back and inform them that the pizza was cold, and the cheese was still. They tell me the ran out of mozzarella cheese. Well, why wasn't this told to me before I placed my order?? And anyway, what does that have to do with me getting COLD, stiff pizza?! The manager was giving me an attitude about bringing me a fresh pizza, and I only live across from them a few buildings down. It's crazy! Clearly the pizza should've been HOT, I am close by, and there is NO EXCUSE for it. Finally, the straw is when the ghetto delivery guy who looked like someone out of a Harlem movie tells me in front of my guest that the pizza wasn't cold, that I am lying to get another pizza! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!! I was appalled! Couldn't believe on top of everything, he would have the nerve to dare say something like that! My friend herself told me to call back, the pizza was disgusting and not fresh. Then he goes to take the other pizza, and when he notice 3 of the 8 slices gone, he DARE brings that up and says, "well if it was cold, why did you eat it?" I then become furious and said "excuse me, this is YOUR FAULT, not mine! I paid for HOT pizza, we were starving, so we had a slice each. That's why. Why are you even being confrontational right now?! This is very despicable and unprofessional of this place, I will NEVER order from you all again!" And I haven't. Simply disgusting how these people do business!

A complete CLUSTER F**K... ordered a pizza for delivery, paid with credit card, pizza gets to the door and the guy wants cash. Delivery guy sees my credit card # on the receipt and calls Tony's repeatedly yelling my credit card # over and over outside my door. UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Beyond morons from hell

    (1)
  • Justin C.

Service was good delivery was very fast but pizza was bland. Sauce doesn't have much flavor. Unless I just got a bad batch I don't think I would recommend it.

    (2)
  • Fran B.

They were absolutely horrible. The service was subpar. I waited on line for a long time before they acknowledged me. They took the order of a group of people that came in way after me before they started mine. They served my food to another group of people, gave it them for free and asked me to wait while they redid my order. To make up for taking 20 minutes of my time to get one slice I was given a free soda. All this was semi understandable, but the pizza was garbage. Too greasy, burnt, and meats tasted like pure salt. I will never go back there.

    (1)
  • Gene X.

I'm excited to give two starts to Tony's since the staff is pretty damn nice, but man the food isn't that great. If you are staying around the area and an foot it's one of the few options so that's why I went there twice during my stay. Definitely wouldn't recommend it although like I said the people there are nice and, well, it is one of the few places to eat on this part of S. Ocean. That's about all I can say...
