I got a flat tire, pulled into to their parking lot. They offered to help me change it. After that my spare was flat, they let me leave it over night, they promised it would be safe, IT WAS! Girl behind the bar was super sweet. Thanks again for everything! :) Ps.... great prices on the alcohol!!!!

I ran and drove by this place for months, and I always wanted to go in. I finally found the excuse, and it is exactly what one should expect from all the reviews. Stratford's is a dive bar in its purest form. You will walk in and expect to see dust and warn furniture, and the fact that your expectations are met makes you feel at home. Personally, I love dive bars where people will banter friendly with you and let you play a loud game of pool with your buddy. My buddy and I had two pitchers and played countless games of pool, and no one said squat. We even kept asking for quarters, and, somehow, the bar tender managed to find them. The experience was great. If you are not a dive bar fan, this is not the place for you; if you are a person who appreciates what it really mans to be a bar, Stratford's is at worst your purgatory.

Been going here for years.. They NEED NEED NEED new dart boards!!!! They used to have great dart leagues but they took down 6 of the like 8 boards and they only have 2 shit ones up now.. I play a lot and my friends r looking for a good dart and pool spot.. (Steel tip darts). Beer is cheap and that's always great!! Check it out if you're a dive bar fan.!

Stratford's Bar is a dive bar for sure. Just like I like it. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The beer is cheap! My husband and I had three rounds each and our tab came out to less than $15.00. The only reason for the lower rating is because smoking is allowed. I don't smoke and it can get to my head after a while. Other than the smoking, Stratford's is a nice place (if you like the dive scene) to have a few drinks, especially beer since they are super cheap here! An added bonus: free popcorn.

Old, decrepit bar with a juke box, pool tables and a couple more games (shuffle board) ?? - It is a Dive ! I wouldn't specifically leave my house to drive to this place, it is more a place you "end up" in after hours. But hey ! 3 Dollar Imported or 2.50 domestic, good company, good conversation ! It's the place to be.

Its a good 'ole bar. Been around for ages and lookes like it. A total dive and totally worth spending a couple of hours shooting the breeze with good friends. You can't beat $3 Guinness! We were shocked and amazed when we paid $9 for the first round of 3 beers... If you are looking for the FooFoo bars of SoBe this is NOT the place you want to go to. If you are looking for an honest to goodness dive it is. Everyone at the bar was superfriendly and we actually ended up hanging with some of the other patrons.

Cheep beer and everyone in South Florida who still smokes. I guess they had to get rid of the restaurant to keep the smoking, so there is no food. No big loss as far as I can remember.

HAPPY HOUR $1.25 drafts. Shuffle board. Peanuts. Smokey and a good jukebox. When I have the car, the husband gets a ride here with a coworker and we meet up and end up staying late. This is old, classic great dive, with a very salty crew of regulars. Tread lightly as this will never be 'your' bar unless there is some kind of initiation. I love Stratford's.

The other night my guy and I decided it was time to stop by a few bars that we always see and never go to. Stratfords was first on my list since I see it almost every day coming off 95 and it lacks windows so when i first moved here thought it might even be a really..really busted strip club (hey, they do run rampant in south Florida). Anyway, it's just a basic bar with the exception of the shuffleboard (which I am now quite the fan of) and I believe some pool tables in the back. For some reason the back of the bar seemed kind of cut off..like maybe that's where they served food in the past but don't anymore. I didn't ask. Just too busy enjoying my cheap beer, playing songs on the jukebox, and playing shuffleboard. Good place for a couple of drinks to wind down or before you're off to the next place.

Open since 1938 - the ghost of many a hard drinker is residing here I'm sure! Ask for Guinness and they pop the cap of a bottle of real Stout. No three part pour here! But with a $3 price tag, who's complaining. This is the kind of place where working men come to get their drink on after they quit for the day! Dart boards and pool tables in an adjoining room, table shuffleboard along one wall opposite the bar. Ample parking in their own adjoining lot. Just a spit in the wind from the I-95. A working toilet with paper which is always a plus in a dive bar. TV's playing sports, an old style Juke Box playing loud. Some computer games in the corner. Smoking allowed. Sneaky back door into parking lot which I'm sure a lot of guys appreciate!

A good little dive bar, nothing fancy. Drinks are decent and jukebox has the usual rock tunes. I like Stratfords because it's close and cheap, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there.

This is the oldest bar in Hollywood and it looks like it. I went here because a friend started working there and this place is really for hardcore drunks only. The drinks are cheap and they do have pool tables. They gave up serving food, I guess because who has time to eat when you are drinking all day.
