How is there one one review for this place??!! C'mon S. Florida get with it! I've been coming here with my family for over 20 years! They've been consistent with their service and quality in all that time. We usually come to get paselltios con guava y queso, if you don't bring this home to grnadma then she will kill you. Their sandiches are great my favorite is the croqueta prepararda and they make their own cuban bread and you cna get it toasted with butter. I WANT IT NOW!!! Their coffee is awesome and their party platters are great and priced well. It's alittle difficult to get to if you're coming southbound on 441 since it'll be on the left and front parking is parse so park in the back but check the signs so you don't get towed.

This place is great, I have been using the services for over 30 years and the service and products have been great always. Their cakes are great and the pastries amazing. Their prices are very reasonable, therefore, if you having a party in a budget this is the place to come. They also have prepared food, which I tried for our company Christmas party, and everyone was very happy with the variety and flavors. I highly recommend this place to everyone, you wont be sorry, guaranteed.

Absolutely worth the visit if you're in the area! I live for bakeries and wish this would somehow transport itself to the Chicago area :) This Cuban bakery is hands down the best bakery I've ever been to and I try any and all bakeries everywhere I go! Their sweets and savory pastries are to die for! My husband and I ordered the Medianoche Cuban sandwich and got pastries for "later" but after tasting how delicious their Cuban sandwich was (bread is incredible), we decided to "sample" the other pastries we bought... only to eat most of them too! We tried - - the beef empanada - the meat inside is so flavorful, it's crazy and the crust is crunchy and a bit chewy - just the perfect combinaton - the guava and cheese pastelitos - no comparison to the pastelitos I've tried in the area and I pretty much buy them from everywhere I go so I can compare! Perfectly balanced with the guava and cheese and the dough is incredible -the stuffed potato - has the same meat as the empanada - must try! I feel like I keep saying the same things over... but seriously - you will NOT regret trying this place! Amazing!!!! Inexpensive, homemade and QUALITY food! Plus - best cafe con leche. I don't know what they do to it but it is heavenly (and I don't even like coffee!)

Finally a decent Cuban bakery in the Hollywood/Miramar area! After (4) years of searching I have found a nice little "hole in the wall" Cuban bakery! The pastelitos were great - service was warm and welcoming and our catering order was a breeze! We will see how it will be come Tuesday when we dig into their "Arroz Imperial"!

Absolutely The Best Cuban Bakery In Hollywood!

Chicken empanadas is the bomb! Service: order at the counter, pickup at counter right away. More of a self service bakery. It has a couple table and chairs to seatings: outdoor vs. indoor (recommended bc it's in a weird plaza, plus it's 95 degrees out? enjoy the AC while standing at a communal table to enjoy your goods) Food: chicken and beef empanadas is the only thing we tried. The fillings are of great amount and juicy, one of the best empanadas I tried so far, comparable to one of the best ones I tried in Argentina and Peru! Price: pretty cheap! $1.65 for a hug yummy empanada! $1.25 for a espresso shot! Parking: plenty in a lot, lock your cars!

Miramar is everything you hope for in a Cuban Bakery. It is delicious, inexpensive and authentic. There are no bad options here. Each delectable sweet and savory treat is freshly made with 30 years of experience and care. You definitely need to try the classics like the guava and cheese pastelitos. They are flaky and crispy on the outside with just the right amount of sweetness on the inside. Their Croquetas are also phenomenal fritters of pork delight. They also serve the perfect Cuban Coffee to jumpstart your morning or give you that extra jolt in the afternoon. Make sure that you go home with a freshly baked loaf of Cuban bread. It is great for sandwiches or garlic bread and it even freezes well for toasting up later. The staff is usually helpful though ordering in English can be hit or miss (sometimes when communication fails pointing is your best friend). Miramar is especially convenient If you are going to or staying at the Hard Rock Casino. The bakery is just a short drive away and it is a far better than any of the casual dining choices that they offer. "Baby baby make me loco Baby baby make me mambo" "Havana Affair" - Ramones (1976)

WOW!! Wish I found this place sooner. I actually found this place yesterday by accident. I've been touring my older brother around showing him all the good places that I go to eat at. We stopped by Suveniles de Puerto Rico for some Puerto Rican bread called Pan Sobao. We asked the guy behind the counter where we can get some spanish coffee and he recommended a place right behind a Denny's. So before heading out to Sonny's Steak Hoagies for lunch we did a search for Coffee near by and long and behold we were directed to Miramar Bakery. When we parked our car we noticed people coming in and out of this place. Cars pulling in and out of the parking area. A good sign that this place was liked by many. We walked in and there was a line of people waiting to place their orders. The line moved quickly and we got our cafe con leche. Although I did not order any pastries or sandwiches at this location. I will definitely return after seeing many familiar looking pastries I grew up seeing in Puerto Rico and my old neighborhood in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Very traditional Latin Bakery. I'll be back!!! Update to follow.

Pretty decent cuban bakery. They have all the essentials: Cuban coffee, pastries and dessert and you can order custom made cakes. I only had the cortadito, but as Tony the Tiger would say "It's greaatt!". My friend had a cafe con leche and a Guava pastry. She really enjoyed both. There is no need to be intimidated to come here if you don't speak Spanish, because everyone speaks English unlike some other bakeries. If your having a cuban merienda craving, well hit this place up.

I was looking for Korean BBQ but couldn't find it. A friend suggested Miramar Bakery and I'm furious that this place has been 10 minutes from my house the whole time. I ordered the Cuban Burger on Cuban sweet bread and tired with potato sticks. I was a little skeptical because the sandwich only cost 4 bucks. My friend got the Midnight Sandwich and was equally impressed. I have him a bite of mine and vice versa. We both agreed and jumped back in the car to get 2 more Cuban Burgers. 12 dollars for 3 perfect sandwiches is more than a reasonable and I plan on turning all my friends on to this place. Keep up the great work. FYI they sell loafs of beautiful bread to go. We got here around 2pm and their was no wait. Thank you Miramar Bakery, Evan M Quintavella

My fiancé and I traveled from KY and GA for our wedding on the beach in Ft Lauderdale, FL and had to choose a bakery for our wedding cake from afar. It was a small quaint wedding, and after searching for a bakery and reading all the positive reviews, we decided to use Miramar Bakery. Oh my goodness....the cake was beautifully made to match the pictures I sent via email and it was equally delicious! This was the BEST cake that I/we have ever tasted!! We were greatly pleased, as well as our guest! Some even stopped by for those delicious croissants I raved about also! Thanks again Miramar for making our special day all the more special!! God Bless!

This place is AMAZING. Family friendly with great prices and incredible Cuban food. My personal favorites are the chicken empanadas, muffins, and all their desserts! Their cakes for parties are a must. I am a big snob when it comes to cake and they have the BEST. Super moist, delicious frosting, and extremely talented pastry chefs that can make almost any design you want! Such good prices too that you can afford to have a custom cake made for any family birthday/event/celebration. Their muffins are also super moist (I put them with ice cream sometimes as a little dessert). All of the Cuban pastries are authentic and flavorful (craving a chicken empanada right now!!) Basically, anything you get here is gonna taste delicious so I recommend to get one of everything :)

Good bakery! They have a nice selection of bake goods & desserts. Great café con leche; it's always on point with the sugar. Not the best pastelitos I've ever tried but better than a lot of other bakeries that I've been to. They've recently relocated to a bigger site which is great. Although they've always managed to be organized their service is even faster now. It's definitely at a better location since it's inside a plaza; there's plenty of space to park now. This a nice spot for a quick Cuban fix at a good price.

I did not even see this place, even though I go to the Dennys many times. I have been shy into going to Spanish bakeries because I have only been though Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 in class and they did not teach us to order food in Spanish. Many bakeries I go to bombard me with Spanish first and I struggle which made the person look at me like ehhhhh? Lol. Anywho I'm happy I found a bakery close by me that sells empenadas and tres leches. The empenadas were delicious. I had the beef and chicken. They were perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside. The tres leches tasted like heaven wish they sold it has a whole. Delectable and not too sweet. I will definitely be back for more goodies. Maybe tomorrow lol.

Was there today, Sunday morning and picked up some pastries including the flan/cheesecake combo which was delicious. The best was the freshly baked cuban bread which came out warm and soft. Huge loaf only $1.2 5 each. Friendly staff, highly recommend.

Oooooh my. Ooooh my, oh my, oh my! tons of pastries, sandwiches, Cuban coffee, croquettes',custom cakes AND yummy cordaditos. When I'm at my home in Hollywood, I go to Miramar Bakery, nearly every morning for a cordadito, maybe a pastry, and sometimes a sandwich. Since they moved over by American Thrift store, they are much closer to my home and gives me more reason to stop in here for my morning coffee. I love this place. The owner is pretty nice, as well. We've all known him about 25 yrs.

While on our way to visit family in Hollandale Beach, we found this gem. It's pretty easy to miss if you are not looking for it. But once you find it, you will never regret it. Now this is a true Cuban Bakery, modern but very authentic. Super clean with super friendly staff. There was a line, but it moved real quick. We had some hot cuban bread, papa rellenas, croquetas and guava/cheese refugiados. Every single items was fresh and tasted amazing! I hope to go back one day!

I moved back to the Hollywood area and I'm very happy that I can start visiting this bakery again. My favorite pastries: meat, guava and cheese, and cheese. My wife always orders a croissant with ham and cheese. Delicious.

They have changed locations and is now behind the Denny's off 441 & Hollywood Blvd. I have NOTHING bad to say about this place. Everything is delicious and tasty. Nice size portions won't leave you unsatisfied. The coffee, sandwiches, pastries and lunch meals are all heaven. Bring an appetite and your wallet cause you will want to try many things. The party trays are priced right and forget the party....I get them for the weekend for the kids who have munchies. The staff is pleasant and the atmosphere is bright and open. If it's Cuban pastries you crave and desire...THIS should be your 1st and final stop. You will not be disappointed and it may get crowded there at certain times but it is well worth the wait for the tasty treats you will receive.

Better then your average Cuban bakery! Why? Everything they sell is made right in the kitchen! Minus the bottled beverages of coarse. Bought a homemade flan/cheesecake ($12) took it to the Labor Day barbrque we had, everyone loved it! Family owned business, nice customer service... The new location has plenty of parking too...

This is a really great place. Morning or afternoon, their selection is endless and always fresh out the kitchen. I enjoy their chicken empanadas and guava and cheese pastelitos. The gals at this joint treat me as if I were their latin bredren, regardless of the slight language barrier. Very affordable too, with 5 bucks you are sure to be satisfied. I wish every neighborhood had a place like this!! I KID YOU NOT, AT ONE POINT I WAS EATING HERE EVERY MORNING!!!!

Has anyone tried their catering arroz con pollo or arroz imperial? The cake is amazing good I've been ordering it for events for a couple years now. Pastries are a must have too and the prices are super convenient. Always fresh and orders on time.

I had a huge party I ordered for and I called them three days before and they had no problem making all the food. By far the best deal. Everybody at the party loved the food. The croquetas were gone in 5 min and their imperial rice is absolutely on point. I'm ordering here again for my next event!!

Great tasting bakery! Got the Guava and Cheese pastries. Good filling to pastry ratio. Also got the Cuban sandwhich. Was really delicious. There were so many pastries I want to try. Will definitely go back before leaving Miami! Note: location was hard to find. I had to call and they said in same parking lot as Denny's. Glad I did because I would have been driving up and down the street 100 times before finding it.
