Oh McDonald's, my first true love, I know it's been a while since I've indulged into your juicy burgers. Please forgive my taste buds and stomach for their wandering ways for they know not what they do. I want you to know those other restaurants don't mean anything to me. You're the only place that provides me with fast food goodness. Why am I reaching out to you all of a sudden? you ask. Well, I'm a bit hungry this morning and I would like something filling under $10. That's where you, my love, come to mind. As I enter your Hollywood Blvd. location, your friendly employee warmly greeted me and took my order. #13: a steak, egg, and cheese bagel with a hash brown and small orange juice. Mmm, a small item, yet delicious gratifying. Thank you Mickey D for satisfying my hunger, and yes I will return to you my love. There's nothing more I would want than to sink my teeth into a juicy Big Mac. Until we meet again ;-)

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I can count the times in one year that my wife and I go to McDonalds on one hand. In a moment of weakness, we ended up stopping by because there was nothing else left open at 11:45 at night. Their late night menu was inaccurate and overpriced. We waited in line for close to 20 minutes with ONE person ahead of us, and when I asked the manager what the deal was, he said "oh, it's late, we're understaffed." No apology, no concern for my wait or my frustration. I would have taken the "survey" on the receipt but I lost it. Honestly, if that's how they run their operation every night, I'm surprised this location is still in business because I do not ever plan on returning and I live one block away.

This morning I had to stop by and see for myself and sure enough there was a problem that I couldn't take my eyes off. It was the cashier. I thought it was me but I notice it happen to all the other customers. It looks like that she didn't want to be there. She never looks at the customer, speaking with a (what do you want) tone of voice, and just toss you the bag of food at you. The lobby was clean though.

It's Mickey Deez so I don't expect much but this visit left a really bad impression. I wanted an afternoon pick me up before a meeting but then realized my meeting was going to run into dinner time so I decided to order food. Those commercials for the baked cheese sticks got me so I ordered those along with a chicken sandwich after I waited in a ridiculously long drive through line. You would think they were giving something away! The person in front of me ordered $37 worth of food- I didn't even know that was possible! I paid and then pulled up to the second window (eventually). The girl at the window started speaking in Spanish to the Manager very loudly and basically ignored me. This conversation/argument went on for 2-3 minutes while I was annoyed that i was waiting and had to listen to a conversation in Spanish and I was not in Hialeah! Finally, the manager tossed a bag in my direction but there was no sign of my drink, which was the whole reason I stopped in the first place! So nobody was at the window at this point and I had to shout to get the Manager's attention again. I asked for my drink and she questioned me "oh you didn't get it already?" Why would I sit in this drive through for 10+ minutes?!? As if things could not get worse, I started eating the cheese sticks in the car- save your money! Then I opened the chicken sandwich, and it was crumbled. C'mon!!! I don't frequent fast food regularly but this ranks in the worst experiences I've had. Later on that evening I was laying in bed and the cheese stick commercial came on. All my negative feelings came rushing back but I was really fuming when I heard the sticks were supposed to come with marinara ssuce. Maybe that would have made them taste better but that wasn't included in my bag with my crumpled sandwich. Shame on you McDonald's and shame on me for stopping there!

Want to wait in line for an hour for a cheeseburger?! Come to this McDonald's ! Where the fries are old and stale and the burgers are cold! And the soda is flat! This McDonald's is horrible. Well... They all are really

If you come in the middle of the night you need to order everything big and we waited 10 minutes to get the food. It's ridiculous.

Worst one ever. Management sucks. Me one register was open with a long line and she had to stop what she was doing because she didn't have any more change. It was the middle of the day and the ice machine didn't have any ice and the Soda was coming out room temperature. I also went in there originally wanting chicken wings and they told me that they didn't have any.

  • Ron H.

Order always wrong. Have to go back. Managers don't care, because they don't fix the issues. It's not that hard to get a drink order correct.

Not 5 stars because it's a McDonalds... McDonald's work really hard at consistency throughout their chain of restaurants. From the taste of the food all the way to the temperature the food is served to you. So basically, once you eat a Big Mac, you expect and find the same exact flavor in any other McDonald's you go to. Of course there are geographical exceptions, but for the most part. So, where am I going with this.... Well, if the food is what I expect, then I will give you a good review on the food. But the service in this particular restaurant is what makes this restaurant stand out from the rest. The staff is a group of really happy people. They smile at you and engage you in conversation. They always seem to be joking amongst each other giving you the feeling that they are enjoying what they do. It is a good feeling to know that happiness can be found at all levels of the salary scale and this people are an example of it. I'm trying really hard to express what I mean so I hope it comes across. Congratulations to the management of this McDonalds!

OK, let's start by saying I do not like fast foods. I just don't. But true confessions; I am in a hurry every once and a while so I sneak a meal or 2. I go to this Micky D's because I work real close to it and it is very clean. So that's one star [ding] No star for the food because it is everything I expect. No stars off either because I have never had a complaint. The cashier order takers get a star or being very friendly; they always smile and laugh at my dumb jokes. Also the food packers are very fast and bring the food out real fast. The food preparers are efficient and work hard. This is the norm for franchises and works well at this particular location. Clean, I think this is one of the most frequently cleaned dining areas in the world. LOL. I know that the people that mop, clean tables, do the bathrooms etc are frequently overlooked but not by me. The morning people and the afternoon ones never seem to stop. Big star for them, they deserve it [ding] Drive through is fast and efficient too. I never understood why people will sit in their car 12 deep when there is no line inside. Ponderous. The drive through location is unfortunate, pretty much blocks traffic but it's not their fault. Management (maybe the franchise owners?) are there frequently trying to motivate employees and encouraging them to be more professional closer to an in-dining experience in a more lavish restaurant. OK, star for the effort [ding], but lose the whistles. Sometimes I go in and there is tenseness in the air and all of a sudden everyone is watching what they say, careful to smile politely but noticeably cautious in their every move. I doubt that it is the afore-mentioned corporate folks so I suspect there is a boss-type that brings the atmosphere. Hint: The customers know it. My fellow workers notice it. I have not discovered the cause but if you don't have a real good experience, that is why. So 3 stars since it started from a cellar-review. But it's not this location as much as it is still a fast-food joint and I could not justify any more. But if ya got to go, this is better than most.
