One of the Yelp reviewers kindly recommended Jack's to me when I mentioned that it was hard for me to find good fried chicken near Hollywood. I have already been a Jack's customer for a couple of years, but almost exclusively for breakfast. I tried the fried chicken and it was very good. The mashed potatoes were also home made and very good. The beet salad was fresh, but unusual with oil and dill, I believe. Not great, but OK. I returned a couple of days later for lunch and had split pea soup, a chicken salad sandwich (made in house) and iced tea. All were very good and priced right at $7.99. Most of the wait staff has been here for a while and they are very good. Thank you Jack's.

Last night we attempted to have dinner here, a place I have frequented for over 45 years. My husband asked them to toast the bread under his hot roast beef sandwich, they said they would charge for a side of toast. Really? Would you toast a hamburger bun at no charge? Yes. Would you toast my wife's English muffin at no charge ? Yes. Will you charge extra for a patty melt as it is toasted or grilled? No. His reply "this is just dumb, it's a very stupid policy. Can I speak to a manager, it doesn't make sense. " Manager never came to our table but yelled two tables away, THATS THE RULES. Next thing we know there are two police officers there telling us to leave, we won't be served. We go outside and try to talk to the officers, who I presume eat free there as it is always filled with cops, officer says we are the police, we just enforce the law. What law was broken? Questioning a restaurant policy without raising your voice or cursing? So many things wrong with this adventure last night I am left shaking my head. Courtesy, customer service or civility is definitely NOT on the menu at Jacks. Never again.

Always a solid choice, day or night. They're great if you want takeout as well. Obviously their breakfast in bomb and you can't go wrong with sandwiches and soups. The place is always busy and cops eat there. Everyone loves Jacks.

Dinner tonight. Ordered Hot Roast Beef. Told server we want Rye Toast instead of white bread. She says that she has to charge extra for the toast. Asked if we order a hamburger with toasted roll would she charge extra? No, she said. If we order a hamburger on rye toast would she charge extra? She said no. Calmly, we said that this was stupid and not logical. Ok, we will have a patty melt. Then two Hollywood police officers came to our table and said that we must leave now. That we were not being served. What would you have done? What would you say as we were escorted out the door. We have been going to Jacks for over 50 years. How can anyone in the food service industry treat a customer like this? When the police came to our table, we thought that they were kidding us. Please tell us what to do.

My favorite diner. I always get the the grilled biscuits and smoked sausage. Today the sausage came slightly cold and really didn't taste fresh. Tasted like its been sitting there. The couple right in front of us just returned a burger because they said that the meat tasted bad and old. Wasn't bad enough for me to not come back but whoever is cooking in the back right now as I'm writing this, should get fired. He sending out old food. Service here is great though. Everybody is always super sweet

My sister and I came here at 6am to eat, after getting off a flight. I hadn't slept all night, and I wanted a hot turkey sandwich desperately. Was told they didn't have gravy or mashed potatoes. Wahhhhhh! So I ordered the club. I appreciated that the club was made with real roast turkey but it was kind of dry and just not that good. In fact, at 6am, they didn't have most lunch items which was why we only got breakfast menus and I had to ask for a club. I think a 24 hour diner should have their entire menu for the entire 24 hours. They did have delicious French fries though! I dipped them in mayo, that came on the side of my sandwich, even though it already had mayo on it, and I actually asked for a side of ranch but never got it. So the fries in the mayo were amazingly delicious. The star of my 6am lunch. HA! Also of note: the area where this diner is located seems super sketchy. All sorts of crazy street toughs pacing up and down the streets. Plus several weirdos in the restaurant too. But hey, it was open at 6am. Wouldn't be compelled to return.

Yummy and a great find for the area!! We stopped on our way back to the airport and it was awesome to be seated on a Sunday AM for five. Jessica was our waitress and she was so friendly. Answered all our questions and made a great recommendation for the eggs Benedict!

  • Robert H.

You may want to order judiciously here as the range is from excellent to meh. I ordered the eggs benedict with hash browns and Dominic had the pigs in a blanket. The hash browns were the best. Decent hollandaise sauce. Undertoasted English muffins--I like things crunchy. A tomato slice for garnish was appealing, but I could have done with another two. The pigs in a blanket, eh... you may want to pass on them. The serving was ample but the pancakes were so so and the syrup was the watery fake stuff. That's why I never order cakes at a restaurant. Service was pretty good, though the cashier was a very stern sourpuss who did not appreciate my joke to comp me for a 5-star review on Yelp. C'mon lady, it's the beach, lighten up.

Not a good experience recently sat at the counter and the overhead air conditioner dripped water on my food. When the manager sitting nearby saw this he just started laughing and said, "The air conditioner drips, ha ha." When I asked if this was funny he got up and came close as if to start a fight.

I'm writing an updated review and am a customer during the graveyard shift. I came in very late one night because the place I originally planned on going to had already closed. Not wanting to go to denny's, ihop, or any of the bars in the area I reluctantly came here. I was immediately greeted by Brenda - she was so friendly and upbeat! She turned the experience around for me and brought me back here as a regular. It's not often to find a waitress who is so genuinely interested in the experience of her customers. I have been back a few times and have tried multiple things on the menu and breakfast is what they do best - especially their pancakes.

Home style meals. Girls are great. Very attentive to your dining needs. Rice pudding is a plus. Food is always consistent and good.

Good breakfast, quick service, reasonably priced. I asked if they make their own corned beef hash and they answered honestly, so I ordered something else instead. My wife had the gyro omelet and I wish I had ordered it!

Jack's is by far the best diner I've found in south Florida so far. The inlets are perfectly cheesy, their menu is wonderfully diverse, and the staff is smiley and down to earth. I wish I could eat here every morning!

Jack's is an iconic diner with a beautiful retro theme, so fun! The diner is spotless and very well looked after. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm friendly welcome and It is very evident that they pay close attention to their customers and service is their priority. It is evident that there are many long standing regulars, and I can see why, as they treat their customers as family. I have been coming here 8 years when I am in town from Cali, and never miss a trip to Jack's. I have tried breakfast (my fav) lunch and dinner and always have been pleased with the food. Having a diner open 24 hours and being this good is awesome as you can always grab a meal no matter what time of day.

Been living in North Miami beach for a year and still quite new to the area. We are from Manhattan. Looking for chow on Christmas is no easy task and I had my reservations about heading to uncharted territory. My wife is 8 months pregnant and when she wants waffles we get waffles. I had little choice in the matter and needless to say sometimes a gut instinct is your best. This place serves up really good breakfast with lovely and attentive staff (even on Xmas!!). The sausage was great, eggs perfect and bagel was well above Florida standards. The coffee is very good the cup is always full, the food comes hot and quickly. I highly recommend this place. It's even better then most of the New York diners I have eaten in and I am a born and raised NYCer. We invented diner food and this pace can seriously hold its own against them. I will be back there soon.

Came here based on yelp reviews. Old school diner wroth lots of regulars. Friendly staff. Ordered breakfast, corned beef hash....i haven't had that since I was little. Tasted just like remembered. 4 stars for the staff! They made you feel like you were home.

My husband and I go to Jack's at least once a week! We've gone for breakfast and dinner and at all times and all days. We've never had to wait but it's usually busy on Sunday mornings (we meet his family there every Sunday for breakfast at 730am) and not so much after 11 on any given day. If you're there at night, ask for Brenda. Such a wonderful lady and we've been there so much, she remembers our orders before we even sit down! In the mornings, the lady with the long blonde hair in a ponytail and the blonde with bangs and a tight bun are wonderful. The food is spectacular! I haven't tried anything I haven't liked. Breakfast is always a good choice, I usually get the corned beef hash with eggs and grits, and with the biscuits, ask for them grilled and I promise you you won't be disappointed. Try the meatloaf! That's my favorite for dinner, and get the meal, it comes with your dinner plus soup and a dessert! My husband and I share the soup and dessert and I usually always have leftovers for the next day. Overall a wonderful and cozy diner!!

Good breakfast spot First time there & it was busy on a Thursday at 10:30am Big portions of diner style food that was delicious. Service was nothing extraordinarily exceptional & a coffee refill would have been nice I'll be back again though if around the area for breakfast. Second visit on a Sunday morning Wow they were busy Glad the wait was only 10 minutes for a table. Food was excellent again!! I ordered the "Biggest Breakfast" on the menu with 3 of everything for around eight bucks and it was more than enough food. This time the waitress was very attentive and coffee was refilled often. Parking lot was full so we parked nearby on the block but worth it for a great breakfast

I am from Michigan, so anything close to a CONEY ISLAND is good to me, and this is pretty darn close! I have only been here twice, but I will return. Being that I am pregnant, I am VERY picky about my foods, and this place is flawless. Good waitress staff, maybe need some new booths, but other than that, no complaints!

This is one of those places that will never close. The food is always amazing and the staff always seems to be pleasant. I had a simple corn beef deli sandwich that was exactly what I expected. They staff even understood that I was in a rush and helped me on my way. I need to come back to try the pies.

Obviously breakfast is the food of choice based on the reviews i read before deciding to go. We went there on a Tuesday evening and ordered the Southern Fried Chicken and the Pulled Pork Sandwich (both came with fries and a vegetable. More like chopped pork than pulled pork (very dry, chewy and tasteless...the bbq sayce was sickly sweet). The chicken and the fries were greasy and overcooked. We were very disappointed and didn't finish either meal. But establishment was clean and the staff was indeed very friendly.

We got to this diner at about midnight. The service was fast and friendly and the waitress was a true pro who knew all about the many dishes served here. The menu is very large and we thought the food was a cut above typical diner fare. Everything was tasty, the servings were generous, and the prices seem fair. We had just flown in to FLL and were very happy that we found this place opened at such a late hour.

HUGE breakfast of sausage, scrambled eggs, home fried potatoes, bread and jam for $6.69 and another $2 for coffee. Classic diner, the waitress called me "hon." Service a tad slow at 10:30 a.m. since they were packed, but once the order was placed, the food came fast.

Thinking about moving to Hollywood, I asked some locals about their favorite diner. "Jack's," said the bartender. "I've gone there every Sunday since I was in diapers." That's a pretty interesting recommendation, but it could just be tradition that keeps that family coming back. Nothing to lose, I went with a friend for Saturday breakfast and found a classic-looking diner with some architectural add-ons, but with a very authentic vibe still. Opened in 1953, but obviously recently updated with new paint and lighting, the menu looks to be right out of the era. But the fare we were served was fresh (a giant flavorful tomato slice accompanied my meal) and reminiscent of growing up in the 60's. Omelettes every way you can think of. Eggs Benedict with flavorful sauce. Coffee refilled before you can ask for it. In and out in as much or as little time as you want to spend. This is not cuisine; this is food for the soul.

This place is great! They serve real food with great service at unbeatable prices.. Honestly. This was a last minute stop late night and I was able to get 2 HUGE pancakes, scrambled eggs & bacon for just $5! My boyfriend ordered the dolphin and was impressed also ( and he's a stickler on seafood) The waitress I had was also a sweetheart.. You can tell this is the type of place to have a lot of regulars. Good service, good food. When I eat here more I'll update because I can only speak on the one occasion I've been here.

Really enjoyed this place. Really good food, amazing and friendly service. I recommend the grits, pancakes and sausage patties. It's not your average diner, they make their food with love and it shows. Also, they are open 24 hours! Go here now!

On a Sunday Morning- Jack's Diner was crowded and we had a 10 minute wait. It was worth the wait..We had breakfast- Eggs, pancakes and bacon, and their home fries, all excellent. The waitress was outstanding, the coffee was great. Price was fair. The only thing they could do better is the syrup for the pancakes- It was cheap, and there was no label on the plastic container, I have no idea what it was except not so great. A nice clean place- where all the servers wear black duds. All the female staff have their hair pulled back, seems like a good idea. I would go back.

They ask you how you like your bacon--my kind of place. I like to order eggs over medium, regular bacon, home fries, and grilled biscuits.

Stick to the ribs solid 5* diner food! Goodness...happened to stopped by a "diner" about 20 mins south of Jacks and snuck out with tail between legs after seeing escargot on the menu. Hit Jacks and it was thee best decision of the night. I had the special (meatloaf) and the husband had a Rachel and let me just proclaim, greasy delicious and cozy. The very definition of comfort food. The waitress; adorable and attentive. Then we got the bill. Flat out robbery...us robbing Jacks! I hope to make it back soon for breakfast. See you there!

I would say that this place is definitely better than Ihop, Dennys, flashback diner or moonlight diner. Believe it or not, their food here is pretty tasty. There's actually flavor. I am making this place my go to local spot for midnight munchies. The server there are very polite, they know their menu really well. They are able to explain in details each item should you have any questions. Hands down, my new favorite after hour place to grab some pancakes or omelets. I will definitely be back.

Perhaps we ordered poorly (no gravy, no hash browns), but what we got (Spanish skillet, super French toast) was just low quality diner food. Nothing special.

  • Vanessa Z.

Have been here for breakfast a few times and have not been dissapointed. My only advice is to stick with typical diner food. I made the horrible mistake of ordering crabcakes last night and I was unable to even take a whole bite. I'm not sure what that was....but it was NOT a crabcake. Lesson learned! Don't make my mistake and it'll be a decent experience.

The place looks a little rough on the outside, but the inside looks clean and new. Prices are very reasonable (Veal parmesan meal at only $12) and a large selection on the menu. There are 2 seating areas, one is streetside and the other is parking side. There seems to be less parking than there is seating.

This is my third and final visit to this place. I just cannot understand how anyone can say this place is anything but lousy. The food never comes out the way you order it, the food lacks flavor and when they mess up your order ( and they will) don't expect any help for anyone. When both of our meals were wrong, the excuse we got was well, the cook was in a rush to go home. (@3pm) I told the waitress that this usually reflects on her with the tip and not the cook. She went and spoke with the manager not more than 10' from us and the manager did nothing, not even glance our way. So that settles it for me. I will spend my hard earned money someplace where when mistakes are made they attempt to fix it, not ignore it

    (1)
  • Adyson W.

Waitress Kim was eating at counter when I entered and acted as if I was an inconvenience. Out of an omelet, a hamburger and two over easy eggs, the only thing cooked correctly was the pickle. Save the money and grab something from circle K down the street.

  • Babes S.

Just what I was looking for in a quick breakfast. Very friendly staff and good food. I went with a spinach, tomato & onion omlette, and success! I'm always happy when the cook can actually cook an omlette without browning my eggs. Not only that, they loaded it as I would do for myself back home. They also offer hash browns, home fries & grits so it made both the mrs and me happy. And.... They had a very impressive selection of bagels as well. Bonus points....

Fantastic food, large variety of quality items on the menu. I've had breakfast and lunch here and all the food has been fantastic. It's a great diner atmosphere with servers who have clearly worked there for a long time and love what they do. Spotless clean interior and well worth the wait if there is one.

I had been living down the street from this place for a while and after reading some Yelp reviews I convinced my husband I had a pregnancy craving for pancakes and we *HAD* to go! First off, it's really cool that the original dining car placed there in 1952 is still there. When you first walk in, you're in the added-on addition. For history, go to the left and sit in the original dining car. Very cool. To the right is the (in my opinion) the plainer addition. It's a typical diner, but I think has a ton more character and better quality food than Starlight in Oakwood. Because of Melody Y.'s review that the pancakes are like donuts I ordered the Super Duper - 2 pancakes, 2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices bacon, Canadian bacon and a sausage link. (at the amazing price of $7.49) Those were possibly the best pancakes I've ever had! My husband got the french toast so we swapped bites - While the toast was good I'm really glad I got the pancakes. I kinda want to go back just to have more pancakes!

This place is perfect for late night dining. The servers are so friendly. That's my favorite thing about this place. You are always welcomed and spoken to like friends even if it's your first time there. The other patrons seemed like regulars and they were all happy also. We ordered the burgers and they were great. Our server recommended a dessert and then embellished by adding a little more whip cream and chocolate sauce just to make me happy after I mentioned I was craving chocolate. loved that. Great place and great service.

Do not waste your time! Potatoes raw, "well done" equals barely cooked, all food was warm at best. Hot biscuits and gravy were not even edible (cool and cool). Waited 20 minutes for replacement dish that never arrived. Not sure what the buzz is but NEVER going back. Owner's attitude was but we did not charge you. But I never ate breakfast did I.

Nothing special. Terrible service. I went here few times because it is a local joint and old time diner I like. But each time I sit by the counter I get this waitress who is terrible and isn't attentive to the customers, she got the graying hair and always in the bun. The young girl told her 3 times my food is up. She didn't hear nothing and never serve it to me, the young girl did. The waitress even rolled her eyes at me. Wtf? Food is good, service is bad.

First and foremost - signed up on Yelp just to write a review on Jack's. This is an excellent establishment. I just moved to the Hollywood/Dania Beach area and placed a to-go order over the phone. When I went to pick up the order, I was greeted by every single waitress. Every single one. The restaurant was very neat and clean (unlike some other restaurants in the area). I ordered the Double Burger Deluxe, and it was just fantastic. The food was still hot when I got back to the office and was cooked perfectly to my order. I was very satisfied with my experience there. I plan on going back tomorrow morning for their breakfast. If the owners are reading this review - your restaurant, food, and staff are all top notch. Keep up the fantastic work! D.

Good 'ol diner food. Breakfast was fast and hot. The service was very quick. I waited less than two minutes for a waitress and they were darn near running to get my food to me. It reminded me of going to a diner in Georgia or somewhere in the country. The atmosphere was quaint. The prices are great also. What you would spend at McDonald's for breakfast you can have an a full great breakfast for that same price. Many of the breakfast specials are around $6 and in today economy is a great deal. If your looking for good food, fast courteous service and great prices, Jack's is a definitely a place to go.

  • Ruth H.

Came here recently with some dude. All I had was a "side order" of french fries and they gave me a big-ass plate full. Huh? There weren't too many other sides to choose from as this all-American diner has an all-American cuisine with none of that fancy ethnic food like nachos (disappointy face)

    (3)
  • Melody Y.

Just a precursor: I judge the quality of a diner by there pancakes and syrup. I'll get other items later down the line if they make the cut but my first visit is always PANCAKES. No matter the time of day. The pancakes at Jack's tasted like donuts! They were pretty amazing. The syrup was kind of cheap and overlookable. It probably was not a good idea to go on a Saturday morning at 3AM due to the post-club crowd (There was an insanely long wait). But the pancakes were well worth the wait. That was my first time and it won't be my last. I will certainly come again!

Usually order and enjoy the (freshly carved) turkey club on rye ($8.50). Very tasty, and along with excellent diner coffee ($2) makes a satisfying late night dinner.

We have been coming to jacks for many years and it is never as good as my husbands breakfast. (Totally unbiased opinion :) ) however the food is always good but this past Easter Sunday was spectacular, so so good that I was eating past the point of being full because it was that good! I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy sauce and home fries with onions, tomatoes and green peppers. Annie our server suggested grilling the biscuits (sometimes you just have to have the calories :) )and I'm glad I did and my eggs poached. Everything was perfect and the taste "out of this world" best meal from jacks by far. My daughter ordered steak and eggs and the steak was a good size and tender really yummy too. Worth the price. My meal was about $9 and my daughter $10 plus? If I remember correctly. The servers are always friendly, quick and attentive. Meal was so good I tipped the cook.

Went on Sunday. Great Rueben sandwich. Ice tea, lots of it. Fries, good ones. A place where you are hon, or doll by the waitress. Felt nice. Comfortable. Out the door with tip for 12 bucks. Works for me.

Yes. I still have an inantimate love affair with Jack's. I love the place and the waitstaff. (Margie you rock!) They are awesome. Please go especially if you are in the Hollywood. area. The food is beyond solid. Enjoy!

Hey I have eaten at Jacks for breakfast and been very happy. Tonight I tried it for dinner very unhappy. The food came out cold had the meet loaf it was good but sides where cold. Not to many choices for specials for dinner not a good place for dinner.

100% adequate diner. Breakfast at all hours , very reasonable prices, hardworking servers, comfortable casual space, very mixed crowd. People complain about the wait, but no wait for us for a late Sunday breakfast, and I come from a place where people have to wait a hour for IHOP, so you don't know how good you've got it.

In the 20+ years I have been going down to South Florida, only twice did I not go to Jack's for breakfast. Both times, I said "I should have gone to Jack's afterwards". The steak and eggs breakfast is a must! The two time I didn't order it I said "I should have had the steak and eggs". Place is nothing fancy on the outside but was recently renovated and there is no better place for breakfast. Family-owned and the they are very visible.

Small detour from our original destination..the Waffle House. After reading reviews and realizing we were much closer to this joint.....and hungrier by the mile. It was cute and kitschy. The service was fast and polite. Ate breakfast and it is what you expect. Solid breakfast spot.

I frequently travel to South Florida and when I leave the hotel and head to the Ft. Lauderdale airport, I always stop and have breakfast. The service staff is always so nice and friendly and the food is good. They are open 24 hours, just incase one gets a hankering for a middle of the night craving for a ginormous omelet. Jokingly, I asked them if they served Chicken and Waffles. Not to be out done, they brought me fried chicken and a big ol' Belgium waffle with lots of syrup. Try it and it will be a must.

What's not to like? If you come expecting a Diner experience, you will not be disappointed. Great pancakes, and maybe the best Tuna Melt on rye anywhere. It may surprise some people, but there are occasionally restaurants owned by people of Greek descent. I do not personally know if this is true of Jack's or not, but I will also vouch for their Pasticchio. It ain't the Ritz. But for what it is, there ain't no better.

This is a real-deal 1950's diner, not some Johnny Rockets wannabee. It's open 24 hours and just a few minutes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport. Perfect for that I dropped my college kid off at 5:00am to get the cheap flight kind of morning. They make a wicked egg white omelette with feta and spinach, and their pancakes are pretty good too. They have a broad menu. I've tried dinner there and it's been pretty staple, reliable food. It's not exotic, but it delivers diner in a big way.

Stopped by on Saturday night after a long night of drinking. Typical 'cop stop' diner with your typical diner crowd. The food was actually pretty good, as expected, since I have heard a lot about Jack's before. One thing was very unique about Jack's: The service. Our waitress was phenomenal. She made sure everyone got exactly what they needed, regardless if you could find it on the menu or not. I highly recommend Jack's to anyone looking for a late night spot for food, and please, tip the server well; she deserves it!

I hail from the Northeast so I love nothing more than a great diner, especially for breakfast. This diner does not disappoint. Breakfast was perfect, coffee was excellent, wait staff was very friendly and the diner itself, while a little on the small side, was very clean and welcoming. This is where I go when I'm craving a traditional diner meal (bacon, eggs, toast) at a great price.

First of all, if you are going to come here, you need to order breakfast. There are a couple of reasons I like this place. The first and foremost reason is that the people are extremely friendly. You always get good service. Also, it has recently been redone, they have new menus, and that makes the atmosphere much better than it used to be. And like I said, order breakfast.

Man, sometimes you need diner food. I recommend the chili mac. And the soups. Chicken ouzo soup. Fresh brewed iced tea. Hot pancakes. 24/7. What's not to like?

Excellent spot for hangover food. The service is fast and the food hits the spot. Jeff S. and I were planning to go to The Shops of Bal Harbour for brunch but realized it wasn't feasible if we were also gonna try to see a movie. We got on Yelp and checked out a few places in our area for Brunch. It was a choice between Blue Plate and Jack's Hollywood Diner. We chose the latter based on the reviews here and we were not disappointed. Jack's has been around for about 30+ years. It has they typical diner layout, diner food and diner prices. Jeff S. had the French Toast and Grits and loved it. I had the Corned Beef Hash with Eggs and Home Fries. The Corned beef hash was tender and flavorful. At first the eggs weren't cooked to my specifications but they remedied that situation quickly. The home fries although good, they were a bit on the bland side. Biscuits also accompanied the meal but they tasted like they were reheated in the Microwave. Overall, it was a pretty decent meal. It was tasty, it was fast and it was a great value for money. Would I visit again? Absolutely!

Jack's has everything that you want from a diner: very clean, retro 50's decor, friendly service, basic food at reasonable prices. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Place is filled with locals/regulars greeted by their first names. If I lived here I'd be a regular too. Recommend!

2.5 stars... My future grandparents-in-law took us to this quaint diner housed in an old train dining car. The clientele is a mix between the very elderly and very young and the waitstaff tend to be on the elderly side (at least, at 8am on a Friday morning). There seem to be an eclectic mix of specials on the various boards throughout the diner. Breakfast appears to be plentiful and cheap - for $5-6 I ordered 2 eggs with (1) polish sausage, grits and 2 biscuits. Sausage of all denominations appear to be offered -- from your traditional breakfast sausage links to tiny little smoked cocktail-type weiners. They also offer steak, ham, pork chops and bacon if you desire. Everything seemed just a tad greasy; the grits were tasteless; the polish kielbasa salty, and the biscuits could have been a tad warmer. The coffee is decent and the service fairly prompt. Open 24 hours - a bonus!

This place was busy, and we were lucky to find a seat. When we were about to order, the waitress turned around and walked away... but she later told us that she thought we needed time. Ralph hated eggs and of course he doesn't always eat pancakes because they're not always whole wheat.. the waitress nicely mentioned that he could still order from the regular lunch menu. He got his regular ol chicken sandwich, while I went for the simple sunny side up eggs with bacon, and greasy hash browns. I was not really done with my coffee. The wait was not so bad and was quick despite the crowdedness in this location.

This was my first time eating at Jack's. I can't say enough how good it was.... The place is immaculate! The service was excellent. Waitress very attentive and friendly. I had pancakes. They were light and fluffy. My husband had French Toast, also excellent. We will definitely be back. Maybe tomorrow!

This is a nice place for a quick bite. I was on my way to drop a family member off at the airport when this came up on Yelp. We had not eaten and was looking for a quick meal. I had a soup and a salad and her a hamburger. The portion was perfect for a lite meal and everything tasted good. The soup was a Chicken Orzo but there wasn't much chicken. That is my only compaint... Everything was less then $15 so it was also cheap. I would stop by again to try out more food.

I have always had good experiences here. Service is fast and they have the proper amount of grease to eliminate most hangovers the next morning or to stop them at 3 a.m. on your way home. The eggs, bacon and hash browns are my favorite. Wash it all down with a cold beer and you are good to go!

OK, this is where you go at 3am for biscuits and gravy and a budweiser. Nothing fancy, it seems to be a better late night diner than anything. The servers are always really nice. It doesnt suck. :)
