I recently came here following their renovation (from martini bar to coffee/ beer bar) and was pleasantly surprised by the beer selection! They have several Florida craft beers on tap from breweries like concrete beach and Miami Brewing co. They also have several cans of craft beer including Cat 5 IPA for $6. Happy hour goes until 7pm, and everything is half off, so yes, you can get very great craft beer for $2-$3!! The decor is a blend of bistro with brewery accessories. A bit mis-matched still (large nude paintings on the wall that don't really go with the rest of the decor), but I am thinking they may get more of a cohesive style the longer they are around. They offer a variety of apps and snacks though I haven't tried these yet. They are still renovating the back patio, and I am excited to stop back by once it is finished.

It was okay, the staff was friendly, but I really didn't like their bar system where you have to pay with tickets, a long island ice tea in a tiny cup cost $10 totally not worth it, there are a lot better places in that area

I guess this is a follow up just to let you know what type of person you're dealing with if you choose to visit this dive. I have copied his e-mail to us. As stated earlier, we only ask for the discounts his ad says we are supposed to receive-nothing more. Hi Phyllis, Rich D. sent you a message on Yelp: Subject: You are a cheap idiot "You got VIP parking and them tried to use a yelp voucher on a discounted lifestyle night Promoted by SDC $5 drinks . Remove your cheap self from the community and I will advise SDC accordingly". It is up to you whether you choose to patronize with people like this or not, however, I'm sure we all can find someone who would welcome our business dollars and treat us all like we are customers.

Aww man this place is super chill! Very low key, good music and drinks. Never knew this gem was hidden here. The back patio is beautiful and peaceful. Can't wait to return.

Classy but casual with a friendly staff is how I would describe Harrison's. I love the comfy couch seating and the private outside patio. If you're not into wine, they still have liquor and a decent beer selection. They do serve food, but we haven't tried it. It is a romantic, intimate place, great for you and your date.

Ducked in to check out the new digs. This place used to be Harrison's Wine Bar and used to have full liquor. No mas. They are now Harrison's Coffeebean Bar. They only serve 12 local, Florida Craft Beers. A little wine as well. They also serve 12 different types of coffee, and if you are a coffee snob, then this is the place for you. Why? * Coffee served fresh ground in a French Press * Bunn ALWAYS HOT water makes coffee taste better * 12 Delish flavors / beans to choose from Free, strong Wifi and lots of plugs for electronics everywhere. Range of seating choices too, from counter, to hi-top, to sofas, and outdoor options. They are remodeling the back, outdoor grotto to become a fun-and-games beer garden. Yay! Can't wait. I see the cornhole and Big Jenga games ready and raring to go. I tried a delicious and fresh breakfast bagel (see photo) last visit. They were having a $3 breakfast promo to include coffee and bagel. I've also had the Turkey Club, and the Caprese Salad (see photo), SCORE! After the Grand Opening I will do the 'ole doubleback and try more food and get down in the beer garden. 'Til then, Cabeza OUT!

I went there last night had a great time with my friends, loved the place and the set up! I would love to throw a party there with my friends and all dance on the stripper pole to get a good laugh, I also loved that the place was small and cozy !! The only thing I didn't like was that we could not buy wine by the bottle !! But otherwise I was pleased with the atmosphere and would most likely visit again !

I came here last Saturday night for an art show that showcased the renovated space and featured live music. We had a great time! The space looks fresh and modern. Coffee is now served, and WiFi as well as plugs for devices are available. They also continue to serve beer and wine, but no longer have a full liqour bar. The art show was fantastic, and drew a diverse crowd. The bar is situated in Hollywood's up and coming downtown art district on Harrison St. The twelve Florida native beers on tap are very good. I really enjoyed the band "Qoq" who played in the outdoor garden. A nice new spot to enjoy in downtown Hollywood! I look forward to future events and random visits here.

Ok so I'm totally biased because this fabulous bar is owned by a South African couple and I am South African too. I think Tod the barman is wonderful, he is so well spoken and attentive. He makes great wine suggestions! I had the Harrison's burger which was delish. I love the paintings that decorate this quaint hideout- they were all painted by the beautiful owners wife. The stripper pole provides much entertainment when newbies feel the stirrings of the red wine tannins and get up there and strut their wares. (It!!). The outside area is awesome, cozy and intimate. No one bothers you, and you feel like you and your date are the only 2 people in this world with Tod serving delicious drinks. The wine menu is expansive and is well priced. Heard it had a swinging reputation but quite frankly haven't witnessed any monkey business... Just professional well dressed patrons who can identify a good place!!

Nice little intimate place... they play good music and serve good drinks. Definitely a good spot for a first or second date.... but beware, once a month (or so I've heard), they have a swingers party pre-party where swingers from near and far come to pre-game before going to their final destination for the night... (of course, that's when we so happened to stumble in...by accident!) if you're open to seeing interesting things, then you'll be fine, however, this isn't for the faint of heart or closed minded.... me and my buddy found a dark corner, observed and giggled... definitely a cool spot though... on the night i went, you couldn't buy drinks at the bar.. you had to purchase drink tickets ($6 each)... i liked it... i'll definitely check it out again... the owners of the bar were hanging out and very friendly.. OH and the back patio.... fabulous!

This bar was great until the owner showed up. The owner is a drunk who keeps talking about how he has killed people and then rudely kicks people out of the bar because he is bitter with himself. To begin, I am a combat veteran myself who has served in Iraq and I have done my time doing things that I wish would never have happen. At this bar, the owner is a degenerate drunk that keeps talking about how he has put people in the ground and that is a disgrace and very alarming. None of my brothers that I have served with have ever spoken like this before because it is something that we still maintain respect for. If he HAS put people in the ground BEFORE then he really needs to seek psychological treatment ASAP because he desperately needs help. Stay away from this bar! Especially if you are a combat vet yourself that does not want to listen to a drunk talk so disgracefully about life.

Nice place. excellent romantic decor that is darkly lit. They have quite a few thick cushioned sofas and love chairs, to do some cuddling and kissing with your babe. The only negative I can mention was the bartender was really overbearing with bad breathe, and did not seem to be dressed somewhat adequately .

I went on a Saturday Night, around 11 and the crowd was mixed, well dressed. Tod the Bartender was recommended to me by a few girls at the bar. I don't know if it was me or the drink, but it was super strong (in a good way), so 10$ for a Long Island Ice Tea was worth it. The Ambience was cool, several large leather couches are perfect for you and your date to just get lost in, and lost in each other. The music was at the right level, the lighting was just right and yes, there is a Stripper pole as soon as you go in (he he). Out back is some cool cabanas to relax in the warm Florida nights. I would note it was nicely attractive people there. I asked a few partrons why they liked this place so much and to them, it was all the above. The mix of women to men, mostly couples, but an odd flirtaiton in the air~

It was a nice vibe inside and the bar tender was friendly, but they didn't have much of anything on the menu. The spinach dip was okay, but I didn't like the hard bread it came with. The wings were jmjust okay as well. It's a good place to grab some drinks though.

Whether you want to find an intimate bar to take a new date or you want to take your significant other or you want to meet new, fun friends, Harrison's Wine Bar is the spot. Their selection of wines are first rate and the staff are always warm. It is always a pleasure! Harrison's is very unique indeed. You go there to see like-minded friends and know that it is a very intimate environment.

Wine bar, and then some! Or should it be wine, bar, lounge, etc? We lived a block away from this place, and it became our second home. My liver will pay me back someday, I'm sure! Dark, intimate and possibly intimidating for the new-comers, particularly with that highly visible stripper pole, strategically placed on an elevated platform near the entrance and large windows facing the street! The manager back then (2+ years ago), Todd, made being a patron purely sensational! I really felt like I was coming home, to 'the usual,' or maybe something different, but he impressively learned what my palate appreciated and always served up the perfect drink. Well-spoken, honest and kind-hearted, our experience here remains incomplete without his presence. The owner, his wife, and then, sometimes, bartender (now full time bartender), all made us feel like part of their family. Marco, their son, is quite the particular gentleman. His smart attitude and conversations bring us back here when we're in the neighborhood. This is not your mama's old fashioned wine bar. You can find one of those down the street from here though, if that's what you're looking for. They have an impressive wine selection, but also serve up liquor, beer and tapas. It's a well-equipped full bar. Just be ready to sit down and hang out for longer than you'd planned for. Beware: On a certain Saturday each month, they close their doors to a private party. It's also not the place you'd want to go to with your parents. But it is the place for 'open-minded' adult fun. That's all I'll say about that. Thank you, Hollywood, for housing this gem!

This place is awesome. So is the stripper pole right when you walk in. I went here for happy hour and it was pretty dead. Some people thought it would be a great idea to bring their little kids inside so I thought it would be a great idea to be loud and have my girlfriend dance on the pole. Other than that they have a decent wine selection, full bar, and nice appetizer menu. I will for sure be visiting this place again. The back patio was also nice but we only checked it out briefly.

Downtown Hollywood suffers from a bit of an identity crisis. Harrison's Wine Bar is a stand out bar. It's a great place for a group of friends, couples on a romantic date or the local that just want's a great glass of wine after a hard day at work. Their wide selections of wine by the glasses leaves you open to sample as many different types as you would like or you can stick to your favorite. The bartender is awesome and makes you feel at home. I highly recommend Harrision's if you're looking for nice and relaxing ambience and great wine.

Ralph and I passed by this place after our dinner and went for their happy hour lemon drops. It was more than a wine bar.. you can still get your hard, liquored drinks here. The bartender seemed nice and he was having an actual conversation with my husband, which he really likes more than just sitting around. The music was great for me, but the place was still empty since it was only 8 o'clock. When we were about to leave, he handed us both business card shaped flyer for the next specials for a certain night, so we can come back. We felt welcome. If we stayed longer, he'd probably get a lot of tips from us. Heh. I wanna go back! :)

Great low key fun bar to hang out in. Todd and the owners are very welcoming and make you feel like a regular even when you only make there every few months. Did I mention that Todd is handsome and super charming?! They have a great beer selection and the monthly private parties can be very very fun! Great place to meet open minded people.
