It's the go to spot of South Florida. The warm, comfort family restaurant where all the food is fantastic and the staff, environment, and price are fair, inviting and will keep you coming back. Soft drinks come in gigantic take-home plastic cups and happy hour has a pretty good selection of beers. The wings are large and full of flavor. The burgers are amazing and pretty inventive. The nachos, tumbleweeds, potato skins are incredible. All around safe bet for those extra large food portions without sacrificing quality. Pretty awesome.

No pay per view in a BAR???? How does a sports bar not play a big fight? Especially one with a big name like flanigans.

The food here was pretty good. Since I am from Louisiana it amuses me when I see words like spicy or firecracker. So of course I tried the firecracker shrimp. Our waiter gave the warning that they were spicy. However, they were not spicy but flavorful they were tossed in a ranch like sauce and served on a bed of lettuce with pico and ranch dip on the side. I also tried their medium flavored wings which were mild but flavorful. My entrée consisted of ribs (meat falling off the bone) and curly fries. The service was good.

When Ale House gets tired, this is my go to. Late happy hour + Pasta Salad//Double scoop of Krab on top. Yes with a K... You won't die, trust me and deal.

I decided to go inside while waiting for my bus transfer on the way to the airport. I wanted to grab a quick lunch. I ordered the 12oz tilapia, sautéed in butter, garlic, and lemon. Came out excellent. Didn't even need a knife. The staff was very friendly as well.

I'm probably at a Flanigans once a week. This one quite often! Definitely the best ribs and my favorite Bbq sauce. I have had bad service here before, so once I met the The best waitress I always ask for her, even if it means a wait.. Natasha really is awesome! Friendly, thorough and fast! I'm moving and I'm sure gunna miss this place. I already told my friends when they drive up to me to pick up a Caribbean burger or ribs and then drive fast!

I'm really surprised this place has a 3.5 star. I eat here all the time. The atmosphere is very welcoming. It's a great place for any occasion weather just trying to grab a quick bite to eat with your friends, or have a date night, or even a family dinner. The staff is really friendly and provide excellent service. Also I have eaten just about everything on the menu. My favorite by far is their tuna sandwich. On the menu the price is listed as market price but don't let that scare you. It usually runs between $10-14 and it's well worth it. Also the Caribbean burgers very good and filling. In addition their loaded baked potato goes good with just about anything on the menu as a side. They also have great drink specials. 50% off all drinks during happy hour and after 9pm. During that time beers and mixed drink will run between $2 and change -7. I highly recommend it.

Food was delicious. I had ribs, wife had a salad. My ribs were fall of the bone good. Fries are great. Coleslaw was good too and I'm not a big fan of slaw. In comparison the portion was bigger than ribs at Sonnys and not as big as longhorns. Granted price is relative to portion. Slaw was best here. Beans can't be beat at Sonnys so why bother getting them anywhere else. Salad had many toppings and was huge. Great portion size here. We will be back.

I used to love this place, I am not sure what changed. The last three times I have been there the food took forever and still came out wrong. I thought I would give them on more chance. Today the restaurant was about half full, we waited for almost 30 minutes after placing the order and I had to leave to get back to work. I am not sure if the food would have been done right or not. The manager said it was because they were so busy. Fortunately this is not indicative of other Flanigan's restaurants it seems to be this one only. It's a shame.

Our basketball team decided to go after our victory to this location since is the closest by. we had a great time and a good experience. everybody just spend $20 each and we had beers and chicken wings and some extra food I love this place and I will continue to visit it. the waiter that took care of us was very courteous on time always asked us what we needed and she was prompt on every request.

I order take out service tonight, entire staff excellent phone skills , they even made a correction to a location that was closer to me. Have gone to many different specialty hamburger joints , we find Flanigans to have a great size charred burger at a excellent price. " one of the best" . Thank you !

I'm a big fan of the Flanigan's chain... if you check out any of these locations they are sure to be running some sort of special. I love the lunch specials.. Mon- Fri 11-3 they have a wonderful $5.99 lunch menu. You can't beat it. This particular location is not the best location (My favorite is the Davie location) but I still enjoy coming here. I came here on an extremely busy Saturday night and ordered their claim chowder... it was chunky and delicious. I then ordered their bacon cheeseburger. The patty was huge, the bacon was crispy, and the cheese was melted perfectly. A good burger in my book. You seriously you can't go wrong with any or their items. My mother ordered the grilled salmon and she loved it. Their portions here are huge so make sure you come here with an empty stomach. I must add on that the appetizers here are the best around... the rib rolls are their signature appetizer and it is really good.. a little pricey but it's well worth it. Also, the tumbleweed onions are pretty dang delicious, too.

I really enjoy seafood and buffalo chicken tenders so obviously this place is already perfect for my dinner. Their Caesar salads have bacon in it which just works so well. Also they have great lunch specials and also fabulous night happy hour half off all liquor beer and wine! I don't like that you are required to sit at the bar.. I believe it should be throughout the restaurant but hey, I guess that's the catch. Also, I hate seeing some of the fish say "market price" because I hate to ask and it is sort of embarrassing. I enjoy anything with seafood and bar food that is open late. And it has that homey fisherman world feel so a different look than just plain ale house. Give it a try! My server was very efficient as always.

Great happy hour 1/2 price beer WOO HOO! I think for one person lunch can be a bit pricey.... I wish they had smaller dishes at smaller prices however if there are two of you & you like the same food by all means share a meal they are huge! The only thing that stops me from going more often is that I drop $25 every time I come I'd love to see a smaller bites menu, especially salad combos during lunch/early dinner! Leftover salad is yucky!

We were a little skeptical coming to this location. My coworkers and I love Flanigans but our traditional location was a little out of the way since we weren't in the office. We were able to recall a closer Flanigans (this location) but were skeptical about the food quality and service. Thankfully, we were very, very wrong. The food quality was the same (excellent) and the service was even better. Definitely coming here again if I am in the area.

Whenever I go home for the weekend, a stop of Flanigan's is always a must. My mouth starts watering for ribs at the mere mention of Flanigan's. The portions are generous, and they are open late, so there's always time to fit a visit in. My family has been coming here for years, and I think we've had pretty much everything on the menu by now. A must order for me is always the smoked fish dip to start, and then a half rack of ribs with a side of dirty rice. And maybe an extra side of garlic rolls (no judgment!). We also usually get an order of the chicken stickers or dolphin fingers for the table. The prime rib special is also a good choice, but so much food! A side, a salad, and garlic rolls make a nice complete meal. I believe this special is only served for dinner on certain nights, but I cannot remember for sure. I usually have leftovers and enjoy the prime rib cold the next day for lunch. You can't wrong with a fresh dolphin sandwich or a burger either. Basically, you can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. It's a fun casual atmosphere, especially if the Heat or Dolphins are playing. This is a great local chain to enjoy a meal and the local team.

Food and service is good. Went to grab lunch here for St. Patty's day, corn beef and hash was yummy. Nice selection for a good change. I usually come here and order several appetizers as my meal. Try the wings and short ribs. I try to make a stop ere at least once a month.

What you would expect for a chain restaurant. Average food and average service. Ir really wanted the tuna hoagie and guess what? They were out of it. I was told that this location seems to run out of food items quite frequently. Are they not ordering enough food? Come on, guys. You run a restaurant here. Making sure that you have all of the items on your menu available should be a top priority. I decided on the ribs and a caesar salad. The salad actually wasn't bad and was a decent portion for a starter salad. The ribs were ok, not great and I had to add bbq sauce to them which I don't often do. I kind of expected the ribs to be better but seeing as how they were my second choice anyway, maybe that in itself explains it. The curly fries were excellent and they give you a pretty decent portion of them. The waitress was attentive and filled our water glasses promptly; however, her personality was lacking a little bit. She was pretty much your typical chain restaurant server. I would like to try the tuna hoagie so I can see myself going back for this reason. It also is very close to home so that is a huge bonus.

I love Flanigan's ! They have awesome ribs, wings, blackened mahi mahi, blackened tuna. The cheese sticks are the best with that yummy marinara sauce! They have awesome specials too! On both food and drinks!!!!! I have been going to all south fl flanny locations for over 20 years! You can't go wrong picking this place to eat at.

I have generally always had a good experience with this restaurant, though most of the time we do take-out. Buyer beware, they add a 10% surcharge for all to-go orders! A few of our staples are the ribs, rockin rib rolls, blackened mahi, and I absolutely LOVE their pasta Caesar salad. I add a scoop of crab salad and get the dressing on the side. It is a genius combination of Caesar salad and pasta salad with croutons, bacon bits, Parmesan cheese, red onions, sliced black olives and sometimes I find random other vegetables in there like broccoli or red peppers. The wings are pretty good too.

This is a review for 10/5/2013. We are nicely greeted and seated, there wasn't no wait and we were there to celebrate my grandmother's birthday. The waitress was nice but the service was such a bummer. The drinks was okay as along with the refills and food coming in a quick pace. Something is wrong with the food, we asked for no salt on any of the curly fries on all of the meals and they put salt on most of the dishes. The Wi-Fi here was fine as I used it for Facebook, Instagram, and Email. The cesar salad was good as I had it with bacon, parmesan, and croutons. The another thing that I noticed was that the garlic rolls came after the main course came. For the main course I had a chicken wings and ribs, it was very good. I'm not sure if the other people in my party had, we had 5 people in our party. For dessert we had Key Lime Pies which was delicious, we also asked for a birthday song for my grandmother but suddenly missed it due to I was at the bathroom at that time. I would give this place two stars in this visit but wished that the service would be more better if they paid more attention to people's orders.

We used to come to Flanigan's fairly often, and then we discovered other BBQ themed sports bars, and started to frequent them. Today, we were driving around, passed a Flanigan's, and decided to give it a go. ISSUE ONE: It was Happy Hour. Happy Hour was great, 50% off ALL alcohol. The catch? You have to sit at the bar, not in the dining area. Really? Why wouldn't you give Happy Hour prices throughout the restaurant? That's just silly. ISSUE TWO: Our waiter was pushy. He asked if we had ever been, and we explained it had been a long time. He asked what we wanted to drink. We asked if we could have a few moments. He turned around, then came back to the table in less than a minute to see if we decided. We asked for a few more moments. Again, he was back in less than a minute. He just wasn't getting the idea. ISSUE THREE: I ordered ribs. The signs around the restaurant proclaimed they had "Award Winning Ribs." They make a big deal about it. What they don't tell you is what the award is for. Was it for Lousy Tasting Ribs? Was it for Ketchup, Ketchup and More Ketchup BBQ Sauce? It couldn't have been for something good, because the ribs and sauce were anything but. My wife ordered an appetizer of mussels, and they were terrible. Her tuna dish was tasteless and was drowning in dressing. She said it could have come from a can. I had wings, but they were also drowning in the Ketchup BBQ sauce. My plate was painted red (not brown) from the BBQ sauce. If I wanted ketchup, I would have asked for ketchup. Our bill ran $52 including tip. It was about $52 more than I wanted to pay for that meal. Before today, it was about two or three years since we've been to Flanigan's. Believe me, it will be at least that long before we return.

I'm a BIG fan of flanigans but this location with the manager really did mix well. I asked for medium rare prime rib and it can back bloody not even cooked. And when I asked for them to cook it well done the manager flip it over instead of cooking. I'm upset because I didn't eat lunch at work so when I got a chance too I got disguised because of the why things were handled. This location I will not be back to.

Sat at the bar, drinks are made stiff, nothing wrong with that. But service for food was very bad! Too concerned with tryna get you to buy drinks... Food took forever and one outta 3 meals came out COMPLETELY wrong! Would be back for drink specials but not for food (at the bar anyways).

  • Dennis C.

Wow, I am not really sure about the multiple negative reviews about this location because we visit this location a few times per month and have never had any issues whatsoever. We typically get different servers and have yet to meet one that is rude, forgetful or anything less than attentive to our table. As for the food, the chicken stickers (hot), salads, burgers, seafood and of course ribs have always been satisfying and consistent with other Flanigan's restaurants in South Florida. The only complaint I have is how old the inside appears to be. I first ate at a Flanigan's restaurant back in the early 90's and it still has the same interior decor I remember from way back then. Although it does look kinda dark and old it is always clean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food in a casual laid back atmosphere with plenty of televisions for watching sports.

looks like a whole in the wall because its connected near a liquor store hidden but ive always had a great time at this flannigans. They have drinks specials everyday after ten and most of the week they have food and drink specials. TVs are everywhere and if you ask a server they try and put it on what you want to see. Love the rockin rib rolls and the fact they have sailor jerry!! lol

  • Ikam A.

Not bad for a chain restaurant. I was impressed how clean it was on a holiday, right after the lunch rush. Service was great, atmosphere was nice, and the ribs were great. I would definitely go to this one again.

This Flanigan's is just down the street from my house, so I enjoy going here for a drink (or 10, since I can just walk my drunk self home) from time to time. Without exception, the staff has been helpful and attentive. 50% off drinks after 9pm makes me happy, and it's lucky they close at 1am or they'd have a *very* drunk girl sitting at their bar. As far as food goes, I've eaten here once. My friend and I shared the Chicken Stickers, and they were not really that good --- which is saying a lot, if you're drinking and don't think food is good. I wouldn't be opposed to trying something else, but I definitely will not be ordering those again.

One of my faovrite places to go and eat and also drink. After 9:00pm all drinks are 50% off which is AMAZING when you are trying to drink on a budget! The ribs and fries are my favorite of all time, soft and tender and that bar b q sause YUM YUM YUM. I also like the rib rolls and the wings are amazing as well! Gotta check it out first time at this location and it was great

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Came in at 3:45 for late lunch with my husband. Waited a while to give our order, ordered drinks and was about food when another customer came in and our waitress went to assist her and began chatting. We had to catch waitress attention to place order and when placing order were informed that to have wings of 2 diff flavors for example 20 wings 10 BBQ and 10 Medium it was not allowed. I would have had to order 2 separate orders of 10 wings almost doubling the price. She did mention a lunch special for 5.99. Unfortunately when she went put in the order it was literally 2 min past 4 and she advised that the lunch special was no longer valid. Needless to say we decided to leave and buy wings that make the customer happy elsewhere, HOOTERS down the street on Pines it is!!!!

Sitting here @ Flanigan's having my brains blown out by loud, annoying heavy metal music. Food is decent. Servers are super nice, but it will probably be at least a year before I am willing to come back! Play music this loud at the bar, fine. In the entire restaurant? You lost me! I can't wait to get the hell out of here! Hubby is finishing his burger now, and it's BUH BYE!!!

  • Christina S.

Been here a handful of times and each time I left happy and incredibly full! Can't beat their $5 lunch menu either. I love getting their wings, 10 of them along with the curly fries for $5 bucks! Also if you save their cup and bring it with you the next time around, your drink is only $1.99. My favorite dessert, the Flanigan Shenanigan is one only word.... Delish! But definitely too big for just one person, unless of course you are a heffer then by all means. To be completely honest, I kinda love this place a lot more than Duffy's. So if you are looking for a place to go to get your hands dirty on some wings and/or a burger, Flanigans is where you should go.

I live 3 minutes from here, went 3 times, and decided to NEVER go back again!!!! This Flanigans is run COMPLETELY different than ALL the others! There is NO quality control. I had the ribs the first time and they were GROSS!!!! They were so dry you couldnt even bite a piece off. When we told out waitress she acted like she didn't care. A manager never came to see us about it and we were shocked - this is unlike the 5 other Flanigans we have been to. We tried them again, this time ordering the burger. I ordered a caesar burger well done. I received a bloody mess with nasty, wilted lettuce. It took them 45 minutes to bring, and it was already so late, I ended up going home and eating a PB & J! The last time was with my sister who insisted we go. BIG MISTAKE! Once again, over an hour wait, rude waitstaff, no management present, and this time COLD food. Corporate needs to head over and regulate or just shut the place down.

Yes, Flanigan's is a chain of restaurants, but I gave them four stars because of one thing: consistency. I have eaten at Flanigan's more times than I can count and I have eaten at quite a few of their locations. You can always count on the consistency of their food. It's not gourmet, but it's good wings and good burgers. There are also ribs, steaks, chicken, pasta, sandwiches and salads on the menu. Basically everything here is grilled. It's straight American fare. It's decent food for a decent price. The burgers are really good and cost under $10 on the dinner menu & include fries. There's a bar area where you can sit and drink (they have a full bar) and eat too if you like. There's always a crowd here and usually a bit of a wait. If you want decent American fare for a good price, this is the place.

Waited an hour for a Chicken Caesar salad and it wasn't that great. Never going back again. How do you mess up lettuce and chicken?

Love the rockin rib rolls and the fact they have sailor jerry!! lol

Food wasn't anything spectacular to brag about. Drinks were ok as well. Staff was pretty friendly though. Overall pretty mediocre place to grab a bite.

I decided to go inside while waiting for my bus transfer on the way to the airport. I wanted to grab a quick lunch. I ordered the 12oz tilapia, sautéed in butter, garlic, and lemon. Came out excellent. Didn't even need a knife. The staff was very friendly as well.
