My family and I have been coming to this pizzeria for forever now! From the cheese pizza to the calamari everything is made to perfection! The owners dawn and tony are the nicest down to earth people and really put there all into this restaurant. The restaurant just got new floors and a new bathroom which I love this because not only is it close to home this restaurant is clean and a neighborhood favorite! The service is great, the people are friendly and the food is not expensive at all!

Hometown pizzeria in Palm Springs north. Tony and dawn, run this establishment. it's the best pizza and garlic rolls on this side of the earth. There main dishes are superb and dessert are delicious. I grew up on this restaurant for 35 years now and I'll continue going back. Delivery is cash only, no credit cards the only downside other than that enjoy your Italian dish.thanks tony and dawn. We the community of Palm Springs north enjoy your restaurant.

I love this place. They are always so nice and fast service. The food is never disappointing. It is a bit pricey but would rather pay them then Pizza Hut, Papa Jones, etc. Only down side is no delivery. Have to pick up yourself. And they don't have that coal fire burnt taste. I always get a White Pizza, yummy.

This place has been around forever and deserves to be! Small locally owned, not a franchise. The best garlic rolls ever! Pizza and Italian dishes that are all reasonably priced. Guessing it seats less than 50 people.

I know the owners are loved, but to me. , Dawn is on the cranky side. That being said, their pizza and rolls are amazing. No other pizza place in the 33015 or it's vicinity comes close. Don't order for the staff, order for the pizza.

First time here after living in the area for over 10 years. I read the reviews and thought I should try it. The service was great the waitress was really sweet. Now for the food the sauce was bland the pizza (small pepperoni) was nothing better than a digiornos pizza I wasn't impressed the mini salad was just lettuce and a slice of tomato. my friends meat sauce was bland and so were the meatballs, garlic rolls were good but I'm not going to a place just for the rolls.

My husband and I took our two small boys there for pizza on a Friday night. The place was empty when we arrived. That said, our order took forever to arrive. The garlic rolls were dripping in oil, yet had no flavor. The pizza was a typical cheese pizza and the eggplant parm was nothing to rave about. I wasn't impressed with the customer service. They seemed preoccupied with their "regular" customers to give us too much attention. That said, we won't be returning.

A modest place in PSN that has been around for years. We had the "supreme" pizza on our first visit and it was alright. The pizza was soggy, most likely due to the many toppings it had. Speaking of toppings, the mushrooms come from a can. Garlic rolls were good and service was friendly. I would go back to try a different pizza (with fewer toppings), but having less expensive alternatives a phone call away (i.e. Domino's) and better pies in the area for about the same price (Anthony's in Miami Lakes) makes a return to Tony's unlikely.

I've had several friends suggest that I try this place and we finally did. We ordered a couple pizzas and some garlic rolls for pickup. I was told it would be about 40 minutes. I figured there is no way it could really be that long, so I went in after about 20 minutes. I ended up waiting about another 25 minutes before the pizzas were ready. So their time estimate was pretty accurate. The staff was very pleasant and they kept apologizing for the wait, saying that they got real busy all of a sudden. Once we got home and bit into the pizzas we realized that it was worth the wait. The pizza was delicious and cooked perfectly. The garlic rolls were a little on the overdone side, but still delicious. We will be going back and recommend this place to others.

The pizza is great. No complaints, but .....no chicken wings!?!?

I prefer more flavor in my Italian food. I ordered the chicken parm and it's 15 bucks. Ok well you couldn't possibly finish the spaghetti in one sitting but the chicken portion left me wanting more for my money.

Grew up on this pizza! A little greasy but definitely has that great taste. Pasta dishes and calzones are ridiculous in size! Garlic rolls are arguably the best I've ever ate in my life! Every time I go the I order at least a dozen for myself!

Great food and friendly people, but waiting over 1 hour for a pizza is NOT acceptable. We used to get pick-up/takeout weekly and call it in 40 minutes ahead. No problem. Looks like that is not enough anymore. They need to get more people or figure out how to address this problem or lose customers. This was not a fun experience and definitely a trend I have noticed over the last year.

3 1/2 is more like it. I called and ordered take out, since I hadn't been there before. The restaurant is nothing to talk about. They were a little disorganized when we got there and the woman at the register paid more attention to the phone than the customers standing in front of her. So that left a little to be desired. Either way, let's see how the pizza is when we get home. It was super tasty. They did a good job. I'll call for delivery going forward.

I love's Tony's Place. The pizza is amazing. We also love their Chicken Fettuccini. One order will easily feed two. I agree on the establishment. It's quite small and when you go for pick up specially evening weekends, you will easily stand there a good 10-15 minutes before you're even acknowledged because the girl is too busy answering phones for orders. They should have at least two people handling that area. Other than that I find the food to be really tasty and the price is not bad.

I live 1.7 miles from the shop....given, I'm in the beginning section of Broward County, but right at county line. Miami Gardens drive is closer to me than Miramar Parkway....but in any case I wanted to order some delivery from this place because of all the amazing reviews. I called and started giving my address and before I can finish they said they don't deliver here. I bet I can throw a rock from my backyard and have it land directly in front of the cashier. Ridiculous....good thing there are plenty of other pizza places. I drove EVEN FURTHER and picked up a pie and wings from ANTHONY'S COAL FIRE in Miami Lakes. I guess that's why big corporations will always out power the small locations....service is guaranteed same everywhere.

Not sure what the big deal is about this place... I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a chicken and broccoli pizza. Pepperoni was standard and quite greasy, toppings kind of slid off of the crust; no extra seasonings of any kind, canned sauce and store-bought ingredients. Chicken and broccoli was horrible. Usually pizza places season this to taste more like Alfredo, but it was completely unseasoned chicken, very very bad. Worst of all, for two medium pizzas they charged me $35, I thought the price was a bit inexcusable for a pizza that I can hardly even consider average. For that, two stars.

This small pizza joint in a small strip mall is good for one thing -- pizza. I have ordered pizza from there several times when im at my friends house who lives in this part of town. Every slice of pizza is delicious. I mean it doesn't matter what you get on it, its so good. The garlic rolls are also very good. So why the three stars and not more? Everything else is not all that. All the pasta dishes have very little flavor and are very blah. Stick to the pizza -- and you will do just fine.

Tony's is my favorite Italian restaurant in the area! My mom has known about this place since I was little & never brought me. I guess she never got around to it. Cut to about 20 years later & I heard about it from a friend & told my mom & she says "Oh I've know about them for years. They're very good. You wanna go." uhhh DUH! Of course I do! First time I went I got the baked meat raviolli & it tasted as delicious as it looked. Just thinking about it now makes me salivate. The pasta was piping hot right out of the oven. The sauce was just absolutely perfect. Their marinara, tomato & meat sauce are rich, savory & acidic. Just how I like it, NO sweetness. As I've mentioned before in a previous review, I hate sweet marinara sauce! Sweet sauce reminds me of cheap disgusting Ragu jar sauce from store. Filled with preservatives & other nasty ingredients. Tonys doesn't do this. They keep the integrity of their sauce. It's simple & perfect. Ever since that visit, Tonys has been consistently amazing. Their spaghetti, ziti, garlic rolls, lasagna & pizza are all so freaking delicious & satisfying. The staff is very nice too. When we dine in, we always get a very sweet waitress. I never have a problem ordering over the phone either, unlike Domenicos which is a pain to order from. There is this lady who always works at the register who is very nice, but if you talk to her enough you'll see she's the kind of person who doesn't take guff from anyone. The only bad thing I can say about Tonys are its hours of operation. I HATE that it only opens at 4pm everyday. :-( I can never get them for lunch. Aside from that, I will never stop eating here. This is my go to Italian place. It beats the hell out of Domenicos. If you're ever in the area in the early evening, I suggest giving this place a shot. Nice portions of hearty filling comfort Italian. My belly is happy every time.

If you are ever in Miami, this is a MUST EAT place. I grew up 5 minutes from here and we ate there every Sunday night. Dawn and Tony are THE BEST! They make THE BEST Italian food, and this little restaurant is honestly the only thing I miss about South Florida since I moved away. I always had Manicotti or Chicken Parmasian, and I was never disappointed. Cash only, but it's so cheap it won't be a problem for you.

I've been going to Tony's since I was in middle school and not much has changed. A very old school pizzeria that is not in the best of places as far as exposure as it is located in a small residential area. This speaks volumes of its food though, considering the fact that it has held up through good and bad economic times. They don't advertise because they don't need to. One of best pizzerias in the area. The garlic rolls are excellent. Tony and Dawn (the owners) are very friendly and have been running a tight ship for quite some time now at this modest joint in PSN.

Thursday night late dinner. Tonys was actually crowded. We had pizza, sausage sub and cheese ravioli. The service was good along with the food. PS, the garlic rolls are right on target down to the last dripping drop of garlic juice.

This is really maybe a 2.5 but lack of consistency drives my review down a little. Red sauce joint, one of the few decent places to eat in the area. Not to mention one of the few non chain places to eat in the area. good garlic rolls. if you have a craving for italian, try it ...you might like it

The garlic rolls are the best!! I usually have the baked lasagna with meat sauce or one of their subs. The meatball parmigiana and steak, cheese, and onion subs are amazing and really big. If you order for delivery it's probably going to take a while so I would suggest ordering about an hour before you want to eat. If you want it right away you can always go pick it up or eat there.

I have to tell you I've been back since my last review and couldn't be any happier...The food and service are back on par!! I've been a customer of Tony's Place for many many years and was very disappointed back in February when I went with a group of out of towns friends and family. I recently went back with my family and was happy to see AND taste the food I remember and loved so much. The pizza and garlic rolls as always YUMMY and my favorite dish Baked Ziti was cooked to perfection with generous amounts of sauce and cheese. And the portion was so big I had enough to take to work the next day. I'll be the the first to admit they could have been having a bad day back in Febraury but they are BACK ON TOP. If you haven't been recently go....better yet RUN and enjoy some home cooked italian food...tell them I sent you!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
