My boyfriend and I had been so exhausted of cooking every night after work that we switched to ordering cantina. We came across Cantinas Hilda and decided to give it a try. Their price seemed reasonable, and I liked the fact that their menu changed every week which introduced a little variety to our taste buds. At first, we were a little apprehensive of the food, but we simply thought we just had to adjust to the different seasoning style- which should of been our first red flag, because we are both Cuban and this is a Cuban cuisine-catina. Any way, their food quality was not the best, their meat did not taste fresh, and the flavor was very inconsistent. Cantinas Hilda, also offers in their menu to choose from a diet portion. I was very happy about this since I a trying to live a healthy life-style. This was $4 extra a day additional to what my family was already ordering. Somehow, they always "forgot" to add my healthy portion of the food. This I find hard to believe, since it is very well chosen for in the weekly menu I would send back to them.When I called to bring it to their attention they said it would be fixed, and yet again they would forget to add the food at night. We got very tired of this back and forth with them, and the food was not worth the headache. I am a busy mom and girlfriend that works and goes to school, I have no time to be on the phone everyday telling someone how to do their job properly. More over, I hope this has helped someone save their time and money.
