Not a fancy restaurant by any means but the food here is great. We had boneless spareribs, steak with peppers, chicken with oyster sauce, chicken noodle and wonton soups. It was all great! I'm from NYC and it could have been from my favorite place there.

Very good chinese food! Finally a place in South Florida that offers good chinese and nice size food portions. I ordered sweet and sour chicken with house rice and will be ordering again. I would recommend this place, only flaw was the egg roll and some chewy pieces of pork in the rice.

For the usual Chinese fast food restaurant, I must say this is one of the best I been to. The ingredients are fresh, the food tastes great, and the owner is the friendliest lady I have ever met!

I'd probably give this place like a 3.5. The food is definitely fresh and the service is friendly. I did not love the general tso's chicken flavor-wise. It was a little too sweet for my tastes and the chunks of chicken were too large. The tempura chicken in the honey chicken was tasty though. I was not all that impressed with the fried dumplings. Overall, especially by South Florida standards, this is not a bad little Chinese take-out place, but it is nothing overly amazing either.

Came in for lunch to get to go. Ordered the honey garlic chicken. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was nice. It wasn't busy only two tables were seated. My food was ready rather quickly but when I got to work to eat the food I realized they had forgotten to put the honey garlic sauce on my honey garlic chicken. Fried rice and egg roll were good, but quite sad about my sauce.

Overall...3.5; food was okay, not awesome. Pepper steak had more onion & green pepper than real meat. House soup with wonton was 3 rating, fried rice was fresh - a 3.5. Delivery was great. Prices were decent.

Visiting Mom in South Florida, we looked for a local Chinese restaurant this evening. Without any experience, we opted for a choice based on Yelp reviews. ... We were not disappointed. Wonton Garden is basically a take-out and delivery restaurant, but has small dining room that's extremely tidy, clean and inviting. Service by the owner herself was top notch. She handled the dining room as well as took orders over the phone and ran the cash. All this and she was never hurried and we were never left unattended. Our food arrived quickly and was quite tasty, some dishes better than others, but all done well. Portions were extremely generous and prices excellent. We ordered one complete meal (for one) off the back page of the menu @ $9 that included an egg roll, rice and a surprising large portion of long ribs which were very tender and delicious. There are many choices other than the ribs to be had off this part of the menu. The rest the meal consisted of à la carte dishes of which we ordered a bunch, opting for the smaller option, for about $6-$7 each, with the portions surprising ample. All the food was good and well-prepared. We paid $47 for the entire affair and the 3 of us ate like pigs with a generous amount of food that we couldn't finish, taken away in a doggy bag. Good eats, good prices and great service. Today was Chinese New Year...The 'Year of the Sheep' and the owner wished us a good one with some fortune cookies and candies. Will definitely return next year.

This is one of the best Chinese take-out restaurants I have ever ordered from. The owners are incredible friendly and the place is SPOTLESS. Their honey garlic chicken is amazing. Their fried sweet and sour jumbo shrimp are fantastic. Whenever I visit the area, I order from this place.. Coming from aNew Yorker, this place is incredibly reasonable and it's super fresh.?

Won Ton Garden offers fast, fresh, Chinese food for pick up and delivery. I have eaten here dozens of times and the food is very good. The owner/staff is super friendly and accommodating especially if you want to customize your order for special diet or taste (low salt, msg, spice etc). I like to patronize good local restaurants that treat their customers like family. This is why I return again and again.

Food was good, service not so much. Would not give free item that would have been available for delivery because we picked up... The restaurant only recently started delivering although the previous menu said the do not deliver. Also forgot one item from my order.

The lady who answered the phone was very polite and nice. The food on the other hand was less than edible; Sesame chicken was large soggy chicken covered in sauces . The hot and sour soup was completely tasteless and the chicken lo-mein had rotten vegetables. I called them and advised them of what I had received and they demanded I return all the food to their store after paying for it to be delivered and tipping the driver to make things right. Needless to say we were very disappointed with the quality of food and will not return.

Went here today for lunch with my 2 year old son. Place is very clean. Small dining area. You order at the desk than seat yourself. No dining service and you clean up after yourself as you would if you were at a fast food chain. Lady behind the desk very kind and courteous. I ordered pan fried dumplings- crab Rangoon- pint of egg drop and won ton soup and pepper fried steak spicy. The crab Rangoon was really yummy, stuffed full and golden perfection. The pan fried dumplings fried to perfection but needed more season taste. Looked visually excellent but I have had better however I believe they are headed in the right direction. The wonton soup the broth very good but the dumplings again, the meat needed more taste and the dough was a little doughy. The egg drop was very very good. Not to much egg and whisked well( I dislike large clumps of egg) the broth was thick but not to much tasted excellent. The pepper steak I requested spicy but it was forgotten and than brought a side if hot oil. The steak was nicely cut and onions cut well, the peppers were cut to large. Extreme garlic and the visual was not as appealing as the apps. The fried rice was not very good. It had no flavor and was dry. The entree was just ok. The prices are extremely reasonable. Lunch $4.25 pint of soup under $2.00 apps I think about $5 my total bill was $18.00. I would have gave another star if the main meal would have been tastier and my spice not forgotten. With that being said I will be back and try a different entree. Enough food left over for another meal. People are very friendly, dining area perfect for kids and clean, food is good. Reasonable prices. Good job

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
