Best sushi ever. The sushi chef is so talented and every roll is a work of art. The service is amazing. The only reason we don't come more often is because we can't control the amount of sushi we purchase and shove in our mouth. The mortgage company insists on getting their money, so that means less trips for sushi. This place is so good that we won't go for sushi anywhere else even if we are out of town. It would be like cheating on this place.

Stopped in after driving by it a few times. My husband and I live in groveland so we thought we'd give it a try. Place was very clean and employees were very friendly. We did not have any of the sushi, but we ordered off of the hibachi menu. Although the they don't cook right in front of you the food was amazing. Great flavor, and portions were great! Lo mein was very good, chicken was moist, and the shrimp was very tasty! All the vegetables tasted fresh and service was outstanding. We will definitely be back!!

We went there for lunch, I have very little experience with Sushi but my friend was a Sushi connoisseur and she just loved it! Fresh products, great service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, reasonably priced (esp for lunch). Leo, our Sushi chef, was originally from China and lived in NYC for many years and is quite a master. All this in little ol' Groveland! They also have non-sushi on the menu like bento boxes and tempura. They have only been open for 2 weeks, and haven't gotten their liquor license yet, just a heads up for those seeking sake etc. They told us they should be getting it soon.

Simply awesome sushi. We tried the "Lover's Roll". It was, quite possibly, the best roll I've ever had in my life. Not because it was a crazy exotic or inventive roll, but because all the fundamentals were executed so well: taste, texture & construction. All were more than on point, they were perfect. Prices and portions are very fair, and service was very good. Ambience is on the modern side of traditional Japanese. Full menu is extensive featuring standard appetizers and hibachi style selections. For an appetizer we had the Gyoza, more affectionately referred to as Pot Stickers. Flavor and texture were both spot on. Overall, having tried most of the sushi restaurants in the Clermont/Groveland area, Ikaho Sushi is the best around.

We drive over from Clermont and we usually do the lunch specials. My son likes the chicken katsu bento box, everything in it is perfectly cooked. The chicken is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, served with a side of the sweet and salty tonkatsu sauce. It also comes with 4 pieces of California rolls, a couple crispy gyozas, side of white steamed sticky rice, salad AND miso soup. All for $9.95. My husband I enjoy the 3 roll sushi lunch special for $10.95. Very fresh. Pick 3 from a couple dozen choices. Each roll has 6 pieces. So 18 pieces plus miso soup and salad. The salad dressing is the typical Japanese ginger dressing. Very tasty. I would only suggest the addition of a couple sliced tomatoes. What else can I say except that we really enjoy this place and suggest you check it out if you haven't done so already.

Let's start by saying right off the bat that I go here quite often. I love this place and all of their food. Everything tastes wonderful and fresh. The food is prepared perfectly and I have never had a bad meal. Some of my favourite meals are the chicken hibachi, vegetable tempura udon soup, pork katsu, shrimp tempura and the yaki udon. Saying this, everything I have tried has been fantastic and I think I have worked my way through a big chunk of the menu. My wife has had the sushi several times and loves it. She also gets the seaweed salad each time we are here and it is really good. The restaurant is clean and simple and the family who owns it are extremely friendly and polite. I could go on about Ikaho but I really think that you should just give it a try and treat yourself to the best Japanese restaurant around.

Ikaho is our family's favorite local sushi stop. Each time we go there we promise ourselves not to order so much food. Yet every time we go, the Super Crunch roll, Caterpillar Roll, Happy Roll, the Bento boxes and Hibachi meals all call to us. Oh, and the cold Saki is a must. Just yesterday we could be found there once again gorging ourselves on what could easily be described as "The Best Sushi in Town". The atmosphere is always friendly and inviting. Leo the sushi chef's plating is impeccable and the rule of thumb is to just order whatever Tommy recommends! Ikaho is definitely a delectable "Diamond in the rough".....Oh great.. now I want sushi and I was just there yesterday.
