Yes, I'm doing a fast food review but after living near this Subway since it opened a couple things happened that made me take the time to review. They added a veggie patty. I know this is a corporate thing too but the franchises don't have to have it. Thank you for having that on the menu. Also, the other day when we were in, there was only one person making sandwiches and a bunch of people came in at once. Someone who may have been the manager or owner had come back to get his cell phone he left there and he noticed the lady was overwhelmed and got scrubbed up to help make sandwiches. I can tell they care and I'm sure it's a nice place to work also because of the teamwork.

Excellent food and service. Overall enjoyable experience. We had a variety of sushi, the Volcano Roll was excellent, as was everything else. Would definitely eat here again. I also recommend the spicy salmon and spicy tuna roll; had a nice crunch that gave it a perfect texture.
Best sushi ever. The sushi chef is so talented and every roll is a work of art. The service is amazing. The only reason we don't come more often is because we can't control the amount of sushi we purchase and shove in our mouth. The mortgage company insists on getting their money, so that means less trips for sushi. This place is so good that we won't go for sushi anywhere else even if we are out of town. It would be like cheating on this place.
This place is freaking great. Sushi was fresh. Portions are huge and prices were fair.

Great food. We have had pancakes (blueberry) great. Nice omelettes.Nice and clean restaurant. They always greet you. They have a patio dining so you can bring the dogs if you would like, nicely shaded area. Good fresh food.they also have a bakery items in a case up front.
Thought we would try some place different, turns out we should have kept driving. Yes, like others, there was a wait, but not a long difficult wait. The service was spotty, very spotty. We had to ask several times for coffee refills, the original waiter never came back to check on us, just took the order and disappeared. I had pancakes, homefries and two eggs over easy. There was no seasoning whatsoever on the eggs, they were tasteless. The potato's were cold, the pancakes were ok, however they had been cooked so long that the edges were crunchy. My wife had a ham and cheese omelet and declared it edible. "not bad" was her direct comment. We had high hopes for this place, unfortunately they were dashed on the rocks of hope. Sorry Johnny, we had visions of making this a regular place, now we will regularly bypass
Not impressed.... Thought we would try the new local place and it was a mistake. The homemade corn beef hash tastes like it came from a can... We noticed a dead fly in the desert case... When we pointed it out they did throw away the tray of baklava. good was just OK... But for a family of 4 and a $40 breakfast I expected more. OJ tastes like from concentrate, can't be a successful breakfast spot in the middle of orange groves selling OJ out of a machine like you would find in a low end hotel. Echo the other comments about needing a bug zapper... Do yourself a favor and head to KeKe's in Clermont of Waffle House for that matter.

This is such a good Mexican restaurant! We had a large party that was easily accommodated by the restaurant. Everyone raved about their selections, which were varied across the menu. The total bill was very surprising - in a good way! We will be going back many times!
Guac is totes worth it mexican, just like indy best mex i've had here... but honestly, i haven't had that much mexican. my hubby got the veggie burrito--which looked really amazing stuffed with all the veggies they could find. I got the pork tamale dinner plate, and it was pretty good. A little dry, but the chips and salsa were awesome, service was fast, and they had a plethora of hot sauces. This is exactly what I expect in a mexican restaurant.
Don't be fooled by the simple exterior- this place is worth the stop! Everything in this place is bright and clean. The staff is young, personable, and efficient. All of us were thrilled with our menu choices- every one fresh and delicious. The servings were generous and the prices more than fair. If you are nearby or passing through (like we were)... Be sure to stop!

Eh....it's just "ok" The vegetable dishes are fresh, hot and cooked well. But for my money....I can make yellow rice at home....when I pay for fried rice...I want fried rice. I was very disappointed when I got home and opened the box to find "yellow" rice with some pork and chopped onions just thrown in. Don't think I'll order from there again
I really enjoy their food. Always busy and prices are fair. I love this place. If you spend a certain amount you do get complimentary egg rolls or a certain dish like general Tao
This place is really good. Their prices are pretty fair. They are super busy all the time so it is best to call ahead for take out. The people are also really nice. They do have a few tables but they are usually packed so there is no room to sit.

The food is great and all but place looks dirty to me. Not sure how they passed inspection. I order takeouts most of the time bc I can't stand being in that place flies everywhere. Don't get me wrong they have some good fried wings.
Great food just don't eat inside.
Don't pass this place by in your travels! If you are craving fabulous fried chicken you gotta stop in or take it to go! Excellent salad bar with country fixins! The gizzards and dipping sauce are super addictive! The wings are perfect spicey! Not a fancy building but the food and friendliness of the employees is off the chain!

We have moved to the area a couple of months ago. Have visited here quite often. Love the garlic knots and the lasagna. Pizza is pretty good but I love the salads.
One star for inappropriate behavior. I asked Siri for the number for Anthony's pizza in Groveland, IN. Unbeknownst to me she gave me Lil Anthony's pizza in Groveland, FL, from which I ordered. When my local pizza shop didn't have my order, I realized my mistake. I called the Florida shop to tell them I made a mistake and apologized. Minutes later a guy called back screaming and cursing. He accused me of multiple false orders ( this is my first offense). In full disclosure, after taking his abuse I did yell "shut the **** up". Childish and inappropriate treatment of someone trying to do the right thing. My local shop told me this happens a lot. Perhaps you could reduce the number of mistaken orders by correcting Siri's info?
Visited family in Groveland and tried Lil Anthony's this week. I was a fan! The decor was super cute and I thought the food was great! I tried the house salad and the BBQ chicken pizza. Both great! I will be back when visiting family again!

McDonald’s

I have stopped here twice, and never again. The service is so bad and so slow, it shouldn't even be called a "fast food " establishment. The counter people are busy chatting and fooling around, instead of doing their jobs. Customers are waited on out of turn, and then kept waiting for their orders. The place was a total wreck when I was in last, and it was about 2:30PM, not the height of a lunch or dinner rush. trash cans full, tables dirty, and drink area dripping with spilled soda. I got so frustrated after a woman barged in front of me, placed her order, and then didn't have enough money. Instead of cancelling the order, the counter girl expected me to wait for the woman to return, then had to get someone else to clear the register. I made a few choice remarks and stormed out. The manager (about 17 years old) followed me, and asked what the trouble was. I told him, and he gave me my Filet-o fish meal, free. A nice gesture, but one shouldn't have to throw a fit, to get decent service. This is by far, the worst McDonald's I have been in. Do yourself a favor. If you don't want a case of indigestion for lunch, go another block to Hardee's
This is the world's slowest McDonald's. If you're hungry though you're hungry. The only good thing about their lack of speed is that special orders seem to get done right. McD's uses way too much salt though on their fries.
This new sirloin burger is the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth. They should pay the customer to try it. Maybe they should start making a sardine and anchovy burger. Better yet go to steak &shake and learn how to make a real burger.
