I love their chocolate! I've never tried anything else (fudge, frozen yogurt, etc) so this review is for their chocolates only. We created our own 1lb box for $23.95 and had a $5 off coupon. We got a lot of chocolate for the price! I prefer making my own box because then you don't get stuck with all those yucky flavors that no one likes (creamy mint, artificial cherry.. gross). I'm a dark chocolate woman and my husband is a milk chocolate man, so we tried to pick an equal amount of both. He ate all his chocolate in two days and I'm still working on mine after 1 1/2 weeks, but we are both counting down the days to get some more.

This chocolate store is Amazing and reminds me of my small hometown store. They have lots of different selections of chocolate and sweets. My favorite is dark chocolate pretzels and they are fantastic from this place. They also have a big selection at the front of small goodies which are good to get a couple of each. I was really impressed by the quality of the chocolate and I am going to be going back for Valentine's Day when it comes up. I saw they also have an ice cream corner but I didn't check the selection they had. Great place and I love the dark chocolate.

This review is only for the chocolates. I saw that this shop had high reviews. As a visitor to the area, I had never heard of this business. Perhaps the high reviews are explained by the "nostalgia" effect of the candy for those who enjoy it. I thought the candy was terrible. The candy was overly-sweet and not very chocolately. The texture of the chocolate was not good either. I tried several different candies and none tasted good to me. It is no better than the mass-produced drugstore chocolates and costs a lot more.

Hands down the best chocolate! Milk, Dark, White chocolate are all equally wonderful and balanced.

Pretty much reviewing their hot chocolate. IT WAS AMAZING! My friend and I both loved the heck out of it! I have not tried anything else, but I can at least say that the hot chocolate was awesome! The window to see the factory was cool, but don't expect a Willy Wonka kind of experience. But do have their hot chocolate :) I forgot what exactly I got, but it wasn't the typical one.

I've been going to this place since I was 7 and it hasn't changed a bit. The chocolate is some of the best- it's right up there with godiva, in both quality and price. It smells delicious when you walk in and you can watch them make the chocolate. The raspberry jell bars are my fav.!

I have been frequenting the location in downtown lake worth for both chocolate and frozen yogurt. Both are very tasty and the staff is super friendly. Quality chocolates and quite the selection. The frozen yogurt is a great addition to what the store offers and they have a great selection of toppings. I hope this store does well and stays around for years to come.

Received the 1 1/2 lb box of chocolate covered fruit? jelly? for Valentine's Day. Worst stuff ever, had to spit it out. Even my son who loves chocolate could not stand it. Maybe some of their other selections would be good, but not this. Major waste of money.

This is how chocolate covered pretzels are done. It seems they dip the pretzels a million times in chocolate because the layers are so thick. I had the white chocolate and milk chocolate. It had a perfect balance of sweet and salty. I didn't buy them myself so I can't speak on the cost or any other product but its great. I saw publix on congress between forest hill and 10th actually stock their chocolates products in the bakery section closet to the flowers.

My love....soo good. The only problem is once you've had their delicious chocolates, it's really hard to enjoy a normal candy bar. :P

So, the candy here is amazing and some of the best I have ever tasted. The quality is absoltuely impeccable. So why only two stars? Well, every year 'round Christmastime, this place does a Holiday lights display, complete with a model train (I love model trains). I remember going as a kid and finding it to be very well-done and effortful. This year, Maw insisted on going and forced my jet-lagged body to come along. Sadly, they put no effort or any real work into the display this year. The lights were all old, the displays were lackluster, and that beloved model train was un-landscaped and out of scale. The whole thing practically killed the Christmas spirit inside of me. And yet it was still ridiculously crowded! What gives, Hoffman's? Why do you even bother if you're just going to BS it?

Hoffman's might have been okay 30 years ago, but it just isn't good any longer. It is somewhere between Whitman's and See's. There are too many amazing choices now; this isn't one of them.

Let me first say this rating is for the cupcakes, not the chocolate (not a huge fan of that either, but it's ok) I'm almost starting to feel bad writing about cupcake places around here (Palm Beach County). There's always something missing. Hoffman's is no different. They're ok. The cake tastes like cake and the icing tastes like icing. The flavors are shallow though and the cake a bit dry. I'd say it's about 2 steps above the ones you get at Publix. Chocolate included. It tastes better than "brown", but there isn't much going on in the flavor department. The red velvet...the cream cheese icing is good. But the cake has that usual, red bitterness that you find in cakes that use cheap/too much coloring.

If you want something for your sweet tooth, check this place out. I have been in here numerous times and it's extra special during the holiday season. The crowd has grown over the years and they even added an ice cream shop because they are just so damn good. My husband and I decided to get the seasonal pumpkin spice milkshakes last night. They are super delicious! The shop has different varieties of chocolates and candies to choose from. I personally like the white chocolate out of all of them. It is a little pricey, so be prepared to spend a few more bucks on your purchase. Also, they have a Winter Wonderland, which the admission is free and the light display is pretty cool. However, there is a long line for Santa and Mrs. Claus for picture taking. Don't be in a hurry if you pop in here. It's worth every minute of your time to eat, drink, and take home their homemade items.

The people at Hoffmans are so nice and pleasant the chocolate is excellent! I'll be back for sure my favorite is the dark chocolate covered pineapples

I checked in but they did not accept the offer. I was told in was Summer Promotion which was disappointing. Ice Cream was great, service was not very friendly. I recommend it for a fun treat.

I received an email this week advertising Hoffman's Winter Wonderland, open late November through December in the evenings. Despite living over an hour away and never having been to Hoffman's before, I love holiday lights and chocolate, so we decided to make the drive. It was much more than I expected, we arrived around 6.30, thirty minutes after they opened, and there were tons of people. We were asked to park at the school around the corner, which was already filling up as well. Be prepared to walk about a quarter mile or so. Entrance to the Winter Wonderland is free, and they have Mr and Mrs Claus for children to take their photo with. Thirty minutes after opening the line was extremely long for photos with Santa, so if you are interested in doing this with your children, I would suggest arriving early. The park is small, but very well lit and decorated. We strolled through it in about 10-15 minutes, stopping to take photos and watch the children play. After seeing the lights we crossed over to the store, where currently everything from Thanksgiving is 50% off. We purchased some candy, which is quite expensive but we haven't yet eaten any to see if the price is justified, and were going to have hot chocolate, but this line was also incredibly long. It's a very cute store with lots of different candies and chocolates, great for finding unique edible gifts, and is a great family outing in the winter. We will come back in the off season to sit down and enjoy the milkshakes and ice cream they have in their cafe.

Go to Hoffman's to get into the Christmas spirit right after Thanksgiving. They have something called a winter wonderland which is an area to the side of their chocolate shop that they decorate with thousands of Christmas lights and they even have Santa and Mrs. Claus. Its free, no purchase is required, but how can you not go into the store that is creating delicious chocolates and ice cream? We went inside with the kiddos and opted for hot chocolate and icecream - all delicious. Unfortunately, their counter staff seemed very confused and it took quite a while to actually make our hot chocolates. My guess is it was their opening weekend and they had to get into the swing of the big crowds coming in. If you happen to have the need for a chocolate gift, this is absolutely the place to go in South Florida. They have another shop in Boca Raton but that's just a store front versus the large flagship where they have a huge selection of chocolates, candies, fudge, ice cream.
