Great! Really friendly workers and great quality. Very efficient. We were there late and they locked the door as we were still eating but reassured us that there was no rush which we really appreciated.

I just tried this place for the first time, and am very satisfied customer! They have an app you can download for online ordering, and I decided to give it a try. The app features the entire menu, and you can customize your selection to your liking. They have tons of toppings and sauces you can add to any Pita, and even items like hummus and avocado are free of charge. Between their different Pita sandwich options and all of the toppings/sauces/spreads, the creations you can make are limitless! My order was prepared correctly and on time- it was ready within 10-15 min of placing my order. However, using the app, it seemed as though you can only pay with credit card. In order to use cash, you may have to forego the app and call in your order the old fashioned way. Overall, a great experience and a delicious sandwich. I will definitely return!

Had an urge for a gyro today, so yelped the closest one with good ratings! Ordered the gyro combo, can't go wrong on the chips since their shipped in, but the gyro sandwich was big when the server brought it to the table. I was thinking this is a huge gyro! But the 1st 3-4 bites I am thinking where's the meat, did I actually order a gyro. Finally found some meat in there, lots of filler in the sandwich very little meat like normal gyros have. Actually it was a wrapped sandwich. It was tasty but not a lot of meat. The end of the sandwich probably the last inch, the meat disappeared like in the beginning. So kinda disappointed with this gyro, have had better. Bathroom was clean, the tables some had crumbs on them. Staff was friendly & clean. Lots of easy parking.

This was a favorite of mine while going to UF. It's built around the health conscious student who doesn't want to spend a fortune and doesn't have time to cook. Their whole concept is a protein and many fresh veggies rolled up in a pita. The taste is superb and much better than the $5 foot long place. Looking to coming again.

It's like a Chipotle for Mediterranean food! The pita was packed, delicious, and had everything I could ever want, even Sriracha! Price is reasonable. Atmosphere and environment is great. I'd highly recommend it.

The gyro is one of the best I have eaten and I have eaten at a lot of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurants. The price is good and you get a lot of food, so you get what you pay for. Excellent choice for the health conscious. The gyro I had was healthier than I've had at other places for sure. I will definitely go back!!!

The 2 guys who are usually there when I go in rock! They are cool under pressure. The tall guy who usually takes orders is super nice. Even when he wants to rush and get back to helping his team mate make pitas he keeps his cool and is patient with the order. The kid with the tattoos who is usually making the pita wraps is polite too. When I ask for extra sauce he really loads up! It can take a while if there is a line, but there is only so fast they can to with a small station. Worth the wait! A small pita is 4.75ish. Or you van get a combo for 7ish and it comes with chips and a drink. Great customer service keeps me coming back.

1st of all they have new ownership who has raised the prices but hasn't bothered to change the menu board. So be prepared to pay more than you think. I have not been to this pita pit in probably a year or so. I was some what surprised that they no longer grill chicken breasts. They have diced up chicken now, which I am sure helps their bottom line. But I don't like the extra sodium that precooked, diced up chicken comes with. Manager is a quite rude. When I pointed out the price difference he said "the new owner changed the price its only 20 cents whats the problem". When I noticed the chicken had changed he told me "twe have not changed our chicken" Just a rude man.

On game night, my wife and I were looking for something to eat at about midnight after the game was over. We remembered Pita Pit was on our way to the highway and didn't think twice! We've been to this location once and to other locations several times. This location was very clean, including the bathrooms. The line was out the door, but it was well worth the wait. There were three people working behind the counter and they were all working their tails off. My wife had the Chicken Crave and I had The Local (which varies by location- here, it was Buffalo chicken). We both really enjoyed our pitas and will likely stop by next time we are back in town.

Good healthy food that won't empty your wallet. Service was fast and friendly. The mango habanero sauce is a must try.

New owner is great. Updated the look. Avacado and hummus are now free and they've got whole wheat pittas too, and a steamer for them. And always with great service!!

Excellent service!!! Good taste!!! The new staff is super nice! They accidentally put chicken on my Philly Steak one, and they prepared a new Philly Steak along with the previous wrong one for free ;)

Had the chicken souvlaki and it was nowhere near what I expected. It was little chunks of dark meat chicken and had more fat than any chicken I have ever seen.

I love this place! It's always clean and they give you so many beautiful veggies on your pita! The husband and wife actually work side by side I believe are the owners and are always knowledgable about their products . The service is outstanding !

Nice welcome to the store, watched them welcome each customer with a warm greeting. Food was ordered quickly, received quickly. Choice of many toppings. I ordered falafel and a fountain drink. It was about $9. This was my first meal as a new resident of the area. Very friendly folks. Good sandwich. Decent price. Nice experience.

Fast food pitas! That's about it. The food isnt bad, but service has always been spotty whenever I've gone. Won't really take points off cause it does depend on the people working. You pretty much go in, order your pita, choose toppings and sauce, and pay. The Dagwood (Turkey, Ham, Roast beef) is pretty good. But I love the Club (Ham, Turkey, Bacon). That's usually the one I stick to. But they've got some interesting ones like the gyro and chicken souvlaki. They also have falafel and other veggie pitas for all you vegetarians out there. The prices arent bad. It's around $6-7 for a pita. Not including chips and drink.

The PIta Pit is a pretty good choice if you are sick of hitting up all the other fast food in the area. Not too expensive, and a pretty good product. Think of it as a chipotle with pita's. Try not to go during the rush hours around dinner and lunch, as the service can slow to a crawl (as all the pitas are individually made). I'm a big fan of the chicken cesar pita, it sounds healthy at least :-)
