We stopped here our our way to Orlando. The outside isn't much to look at, but the food is great. We got the seaweed salad (same as other sushi places), spicy tuna roll, crunch roll ( better than other sushi places), flying fish roe ( called something else), and the King Kong roll and another roll (can't remember the roll name. Our bill was a total $47. Reasonable prices. The food was excellent, great service. Reasonable prices. Definitely will go again.

Great little spot in Central Florida. We read positive reviews onUrban Spoon and decided to try it. Ordered the chicken Panang curry - and it's excellent. Crab Ragoon appetizers were good, and shrimp sushi. We were very pleased, owners are on site, and service is fast.

I had dinner here tonight after reading the strong reviews for it. Overall, I was pretty impressed: I've had better Thai food certainly, but for Eustis and considering that they're also doing sushi, it's pretty good. The interior is fairly standard Thai/Asian restaurant atmosphere with some Japanese touches around the sushi bar but certainly comfy enough. The waitstaff and especially the sushi chef are wonderful--just really cool, chill, and helpful guys. The sushi chef is actually a young American non-Asian dude but seems on top of his game. I had the Larb Gai which is a ground chicken-based salad with a spicy lime dressing and something I make on occassion at home myself. I've had better, but this was certainly fine. I also had an order of Crab Ragoons which were some of the best I've ever had. It seemed like there were a lot of regulars out dining this night and everyone was having a good time. The restaurant's been here a little over a year, the sushi chef told me, and I hope it does well--it's obvious it's family-owned and a lot of heart is behind it.

For a place like Eustice to have this good a Thai restaurant is amazing! Yes, the decor could do with some tending too. But the overall feel is as good as any I have had Well done.

This is worth a stop! Yummy food. My family of 4 ordered separate things and then sampled each other's. All of it was delicious, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

My local favorite! Always get a sushi roll and never was disappointed! Their meals are great too. From the outside the restaurant looks a little iffy but don't let that fool you

Having been to Thailand AND being a former resident of San Francisco, my standards for Thai food may be unreasonably high for Lake County, FL. Despite that, Thai Sushi America impressed me. Not because of their humble location (a small, innocuous strip mall just north of Downtown Eustis), but because of their delicious and authentic food! It's all about the food. While they have a few "American dishes" (steaks, chicken/fish sandwiches, hamburgers), TSA's accent is definitely on the THAI and SUSHI part of their name. Their predominantly Thai staff makes wonderful traditional Thai staples (satay, Pad Kee Mao, Pad Thai, Laht Nah) and their sushi isn't bad, either. The best part (to me): they serve traditional Thai beers like Chang and Singha, in addition to the domestics/imports that you'd expect. TSA gets high marks from me for serving yummy food and friendly service (heads-up: the owner likes to treat friends and new guests to a round of sake). It's one of those hidden Lake County gems that you owe it to yourself to try.

I hate Asian food. Chinese food is horrible. And Lampu is overrated. My first experience with Thai food was in Ocala and it was amazing! Softshell Crab with Sweet and Spicy Chili Sauce, Pork Satay, Massaman Curry. Nothing can touch that. So when Thai Sushi America was suggested to me, I laughed. The one on Bay Street, right? Really? But I was starving, so fine. I ordered the green curry. And I have to say it was pretty freakin good. But not good enough to make me come back on my own. Somehow I ended up back here again and was persuaded to order the pad thai... That pad thai. changed. my. life. For about a month, and i'm not even joking, I had it almost everyday. So spicy, so nutty and awesome no matter what meat you get. Oh and their sides/appetizers aren't bad either. The spring rolls are my fave. They come with an excellent sweet chili sauce (which happens to be a sauce I would enjoy bathing in, a mental picture for you there). Definitely do not judge this book by it's cover.

I have eaten here three times in the past two weeks....so good! I've had the green and red curry dishes, the Pad Thai, and several of the appetizers. The crab Rangoon is ah..mazing! Everything else so far is excellent. I'm so happy I found this place thru Yelp. Next time I will try the sushi.

I have eaten here twice and both times it was fantastic. I have tried the green curry, Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao as well as crab rangoon and various sushi varieties like unagi (eel), Yellowfin and Dragon Roll. The place is always clean, the staff are super-friendly and the food is outstanding. It's great to have such a place in Eustis.

Was just in here tonight. Friendly service. Best Tom yum gai I have had in a while. And I have been in San Francisco lately. The green curry was great as well. In lake county I recommend you check it out.

Enjoyed the food here tonight. I don't know a lot about Thai, however the food tasted very good and fresh. First time here with friends whose first time it was also. My friends loved it. The server (owner?) was super nice. The three of us had a large booth and were comfortable. -tom yum gai- friend said it was the best he ever had -apple salad- i really liked this, had lemon dressing i believe, tasted so fresh. -california & eel roll- friend loved the eel. -fried wonton with a pocket inside of crab/cream cheese - was okay. -"fresh" roll with i believe sweet chili sauce- my friend loved this. (like a spring roll, but not fried, and i requested vegetarian with tofu, and they accommodated). -pad thai - i really liked this, and it wasn't my dish! some other noodle dish (smthg see-um i think) a little -green curry with beef - i ordered medium spicy, it was a bit too spicy for me. but i still liked it. Everything tastes fresh and was good, service was good, the location and outside/inside decor and feeling were not great. (We parked in the back on accident by the Pub, and walked all around to find it, there is parking in front though). But, the prices are reasonable, and and it's definitely a gem to have in Eustis/Lake County. I'm happy to have found it, and will be back again to try more dishes and see what else they have. I'm sure my friends will be back soon. My friend Steve requested to see the chef and compliment him in person! If you haven't been, I'd highly recommend trying it out!

Met the owner at her yard sale. She invited me to her restaurant. I promised I would show up at some point. Tonight was the night. I had nothing to do, just finished work, and was hungry. I avoided the crowd by getting there at 4:45. I was the only one there as a customer. There were 3-4 workers, including the owners. I have no knowledge of Thai cuisine. But I have never been to a restaurant with bad Thai food. I know what I like and I liked what I ate. It was a curry dish (medium=hot) with chicken and veggies in a bowls of creamy soup, with a standard side dish of white rice. Fantastic. Price was what you would expect. I had hot tea and total came to 13 and change. I suppose I paid dinner prices. They also have a caucasion Sushi chef. Everything looks fresh and authentic. Decor......well who's going to invest in that in the city of Eustis. It would be totally wasted on someone from Eustis anyway. Owners are young and eager to please. Their English is acceptable. Not a place to bring someone on a first date, but 4th or 5th would probably work. Very informal. I think if the workers wore authentic Thai clothing, the atmosphere would be much more special....for lack of a better word. In a county with very limited options for dining, this one certainly stands out as being better than most. As some of the other posters commented, location (across from Oyster Trodd) is not the best but it is easy to find and parking will never be a problem. Try it out. Booths are huge and will easily accommodate 6 very large adults. There are tables and chairs also. Also there was a large flat screen with FOX sports channel when I was there. The floor plan is one large room. And space between tables is significant, affording private conversations.

I like it. Although it's not as good as Thai Sushi in downtown mt.dora, and because the prices are comparable, I would probably chose thai sushi over thai sushi america. But if i was in the area and in the mood for some thai food (which i usually am), i would definitely stop by. The food is pretty good, and they give you a lot of it. I want to try their lunch curry menu to really form my opinion! But this is just an "at first glance" opinion

I took a friend here he had never had Thai before, hoping it would be a good place as I hadn't eaten here yet. I wanted her first Thai experience to be good, and it sure was. We got the standard pad thai, I got the pad thai with scallops and she got the chicken. I'm going to give it 4 stars because of the wait. When I went it took about 45 minutes to get our food, and there weren't really that many people there. The restaurant looks run down, but usually that's the sign of good food, so I don't judge based on the looks of the place alone. There is one wall unit AC cooling the place, so it gets a bit stuffy in there but not too uncomfortable. We were there at night, and the place gets really dark inside. The waitress was nice and prompt, despite the long time it took to get the food, but that's with the kitchen, not the waitress. The food was delicious. I had never had scallops with pad thai, and I thought it might be too fishy, but the scallops were cooked perfectly and the pad thai was just as flavorful as some of my favorite Thai restaurants. The price wasn't bad, about on par with other Thai restaurants. It is in Eustis and Lake county really isn't known for their awesome selection of authentic Asian cuisine, so I was surprised to find a Thai restaurant that tasted this good. I was disappointed that they were stingy with the peanuts, and didn't offer the crushed peanut and pepper rack most Thai restaurants do. The friend I was with enjoyed it, which I'm glad I could open her up to more food than she is accustomed too.

The food is so good. The service is outstanding. Minus 1 star for ambiance. The best Pad Thai!

It was really really good. Some of the best I've ever had. And we got a whole variety of stuff; a sashimi platter, fresh rolls, miso soup and three specialty rolls. All of it was full of flavor and the fish tasted very fresh and clean. This place is truly a hidden gem. If by chance you're ever in Eustis, you MUST eat here.
