South Fork Grille Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Three stars because the food was excellent, but inattentive and slow service almost spoiled our evening. I'm not too demanding, but I do expect a waiter to check back and ask about how things are going then maybe ask about another bottle of wine? Will give them another try to see if this was just a bad night. Hope so.

Best choice in Coconut Point if you're looking for something that's not "Ruth's Chris!" Great food, good wine list and always fresh!

Great food, nice people, awesome bar staff. I love going into a restaurant and learning something new about a glass of wine or choice of cuisine.

Have been dining at Southfork since it was the Grape. First of all they have great happy hour specials until 6pm. I had scallops the last time, very tasty. The outdoor seating is nice. Bar is fun. The owners are very friendly and the staff is knowledgeable and pleasent as well. Bob, our waiter, was fabulous. Jay the bartender is wonderful. The manager Shawn is very nice and came to check on us to make sure our experience was great, as it always is!! Southfork is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a nice meal or even just relax and have a glass of wine, which they have a nice selection to choose from. Right in coconut point so when you're finished can walk around shops. Cheers!

Great place!! Impressive wine menu and Jay is a superb bartender who makes the best Mint Julep ever!! I had Sea Scallops and would revisit that choice again. It is fun sitting inside or out and Thur, Fri, and Sat they entertainment outside. Ask for Paul D to be your waiter if not at the bar!!

The food was absolutely amazing. I got the special for the night. Prochutto wrapped grouper with risotto. My husband got the low country boil. WOW is all we have to say. It was absolutely fantastic. We sat at the bar with Jay and had great service. I wish we were staying here longer to enjoy this restaurant again!

We walked in without reservations on Friday night. The most gracious hostess told us they were full inside but the wait would be short, she was so nice that we decided to wait. It turned out great, the wait was short, the table was small but romantic, our food was delicious and the wine even better. Aside from just having one bathroom that was literally always busy, the place is great.

Christmas dinner here is a new-ish tradition for our family. The service is always great and this trip was no exception. My dad and I ordered the prime rib medium and it was perfect. My mom always orders the salmon - she can't get enough. My parents' Manhattans were made with too much vermouth which is weird; they chose not to send them back. I had a split of sparkling wine and enjoyed it very much. For dessert we ordered peach bread pudding a la mode and three spoons. Yum. I notice the bar is always lively and you can order dinner there; if I ever came with only one other person I'd enjoy that.

Mediterranean Inspired cuisine. The awesome guys I was with tonight, terrific service and wonderful lone singer armed with guitar out on the patio saved our impromptu evening out. Seems that there are not a lot of late night dining options in this area. The food bombed. The drinks were good, I felt they had a good wine selection and my guy buds were happy with their beer choices. I opted to get a white wine flight where you can try 3 of any of the wines for $15. They had 3 German white, sweeter must-tries. No appies were ordered so for mains alone we must have waited 1.5 - 2 hours with a measly basket of bread to share between 5 people. Not cool. The mains were not worth the wait. The gnocci was reported to be undercooked, my hubby`s steak was overdone, my friend`s ravioli was just ok and my dish was a mess. I ordered seafood pappardelle and I am not sure what the heck happened. It was dry with hardly any sauce, the pasta was overcooked, and the seafood that I was promised would be fresh was so obviously frozen. Rubber calamari, overcooked shrimp and mussels... ick. And the food on the plate was served cold. Sad. And that pasta dish was even more expensive than the steak dish that was overcooked yes, but edible. The singer outside, Patrick Jerome I think his name was was quite good, personable and was the reason we stayed as long as we did. Not my kind of place food-wise but the experience was a 3 star. I am just pissed I paid for my pasta dish when even my server knew by just looking at the plate that it sucked. Recommend for ambiance, service, never for food.

We dined at the Grape which is now the South Fork 4 times this year and we find the food and service are both excellent. The appetizers and wine selections during happy hours are very good value. The Grape was a franchise but the South Fork is now independent. Make sure to support them to ensure a good place to go for good food with reasonable price.

I've always like this place even when it was The Grape. They have a good wine selection and fresh food. We visited for small appetizers and wine and it was perfect. This is a great place for lunch or a lite dinner.

Amazing service and food... make sure to get the grouper and cheese plate! Best food in the shopping center and is very quaint and casual! My parents as I celebrated their twenty fourth anniversary here. Jesse was our waiter and was very attentive to our experience, we wish every waiter could be as friendly and attentive as her! When you come make sure to ask for her!

This is a great restaurant with a Mediterranean feel. We ate in the bar for happy hour. This is one of the best in Coconut Point. The chicken sandwich was excellent and came with fries for $6.00. A good selection of happy hour beers and wine available. The service was prompt and friendly. The dining room was doing a brisk business. I will consider this in future for dinner. There is also a large patio with heaters for outside seating. Had to revise my review on this place. On a Friday @ 4:30PM who runs out of fish and chicken and makes no substitutions? Just weird. Not going back again. Whoever does the food ordering should be fired.

Read a number of reviews and decided this was a place for us...we wanted good food at a sit down restaurant on a Friday evening. We got it! I had Gnocchi Braised Beef, wife had Chicken Pappardelle which we shared. Both were delicious. Servings were just right size for us. We had plenty and didn't need doggy bag or waste food. Also had Happy Hour Baked Brie appetizer which was delicious. We ordered two entrées before 5:45 and got bottle of wine (two bottle choices or other selections) for $30, so we feel we got a good value as well. There are not pages and pages of selections, but very good choices of fish, chicken, beef, pasta, BBQ, etc. plus appetizers. Service was very good and helpful with choices (thanks Angela). I think ambiance would be called industrial chic in pleasant layout with outdoor seating as well. Yes, it's a bit noisy inside, but you can talk and listen easily around your table. Reading other comments about service, we found it to be very good. It was starting to get busy and the spread out layout might be less efficient than neat rows of booths, but that would take away from the charm of South Fork Grille. Besides, if you want fast food go to McDonalds. This is a great little restaurant with excellent food. The full seats and steady flow of customers speaks for itself.

My husband and I wanted someplace fun and new to eat on a Thursday night. We headed to coconut point and stumbled upon South Fork. Hostess was friendly and didn't mind us arriving later in evening. We sat outside, nice and cosy outdoor area. A fun father-daughter band was entertaining. Wine list was great and our waiter was very knowledgeable. Dinner was fabulous. I had lobster ravioli., and my hubby had snapper, his fav! Dessert was even better than dinner. Lavender cream brûlée!!! And a ricotta orange pound cake. Unbelievable! Our waiter was very hospitable, great dinner out!

We were starving and had a great experience the previous day at SFG. Unfortunately we went w/I an hour of closing tonight and had a less than subpar experience. The bartender told us to make a decision quickly because the kitchen was tired. We ordered within 5 min, the food came out 10 min later: fries - undercooked and were $5 for a measly side portion, salad: drenched in dressing and container Parmesan, pasta was ok. Bartender was less attentive of us throughout our stay as we both would've liked another glass of wine but decided not to based on his actions. We will stick to Happy Hour visits next time we're in the area if we decide to dine here again as we will definitely think twice about dining here. It's a shame as the previous day, the waiter was very attentive even though he was waiting on numerous tables, knowledgable and personable. Two stars is generous as we're definitely influenced on the day before's experience.

What a great place!!! Let's start with the food. My friend had the scallops - very flavorful and plenty of them. I had the short ribs. Paul , our waiter said they are an excellent choice - he was right - very little fat, tender and a good sized portion. A nice lighter sauce enhanced the meat - yummy!!! Paul was extremely accommodating and looked like he was having a great time serving the patrons. Great personality, prompt, with a wonderful sense of humor. Twice we were asked how everything was by management without being intrusive. It is obvious the owners have their eye in the ball. Great food, friendly and prompt service, warm environment and reasonably priced! A home run. We had dinner at Bayside in NAPLES the night before - $130- fish had no flavor and my chicken was average. The server was forgettable - what was his name? 2 stars at best.

Food was good, had a burger and jicama slaw. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich. The food was very good, service was ok. What bothered me was the restroom and the skin oil stains on all the tops of the chairs. The food was very good though

Food was good, service was decent, atmosphere felt unwelcoming... We had our son with us (3 years old) and the staff seemed totally unprepared for that.

I generally haven't been too impressed with the restaurants around here but this place was solid and a good value for the money, especially compared to the huge numbers of mediocre, overpriced places nearby. Everything we had was good and the Sirloin steak is a great deal. Plus I like supporting independent places over chains.

Decided to try South Fork after reading positive Yelp reviews. Came away a bit disappointed. I enjoy a martini before dinner but found out that they only serve beer and wine. No problem but would have been nice to know ahead of time. Was most excited to try the lobster bisque. It was ok flavor wise but very thick like a porridge leading me to believe it was from a can. Caesar salad came out at room temperature. Sent it back only to have the next one served on a cold plate but the salad was still room temp. Waiter said he would talk to the chef on how to correct the problem. Duh...how about keeping the salads refrigerated before serving?? In fairness the Seared Scallops were delicious and cooked to perfection, unfortunately the risotto accompanying them was undercooked and chewy. The filet was also perfectly cooked but lacked any kind of seasoning. Probably won't go back again...too many other places to choose in the area.

  • Mary G.

Just an amazing night... Great bread... did I say great bread. Two orders of Scallops with vegetable risotto. Two glasses of Pinot noir by Bread & Butter. I can't wait to do this again. .. Trying to find this wine in stores.......

Dined here again but for dinner this time. The service was much better and food came out alot quicker but it was off season this time. We were dining later, but the early dining menu was intriguing... 2 entrees and a bottle of wine for $30. Might need to come back early for that deal! My table did receive the bed basket this time and the bread was good- fresh, hot and served with butter. I ordered the fresh market salad with an order of the coconut shrimp from the starters. Both items were very tasty but I would have like to have at least 2 more pieces of shrimp since only 4 medium sized came in the order. We sat inside since it was a super hot day; but I noticed that there were fans in full blast mode on the patio.

Found restaurant thru Yelp. Nice place. Nice staff. Great menu choices. I ordered the lettuce wedge and it was to die for. The blue cheese dressing was marvelous (if you're into blue cheese). The side of bread was airy and warm. Unfortunately the main Dish, the seafood pappardelle, was very mediocre. The sauce wasn't seasoned well and the pasta was a little too al dente. There was lots of seafood but because the sauce was weak, the entire plate was weak. Wouldn't return.

What a disappointment. I had high expectations based on the decor and yelp reviews, but it was just bad. Food- We started off with calamari, coconut shrimp, and baked Brie. Calamari was decent, but it came with fried bell peppers that looked exactly like the calamari rings, so you didn't know when you were going to eat a pepper. The coconut shrimp was decent as well but nothing great. The baked Brie was way to sweet because they doused it in honey. For dinner I had the New York strip "au poivre" so I thought. The steak came in a Marsala sauce, not in cognac sauce and it wasn't even crusted in pepper. So the steak was NOT au poivre. The steak was also not a New York strip. It tasted like a dried up tenderloin. There were no edible bites on this steak without fat. I've had higher quality cuts of meat at McDonald's. The rest of the fam had roasted chicken and it was dry as a bone. Everything besides the mediocre appetizers were practically inedible. The members of the table that did have wine said it tasted bitter box wine. Service- It took us an hour to get our so called "food." Super slow. Would not recommend to anyone. Stay away.

SFG was excellent! Came here based on Yelp reviews, with high expectations, and we were very happy with our dinners and the very good service. Gotta love a good steak au poivre!

Love, love, love this place! Everything I have ever ordered on my numerous visits has been outstanding. Great drink selection and excellent service. By far the best place in coconut point for lunch or dinner. I definitely recommend south fork grill.

  • Peggy L.

I started my meal with the baked Brie. It was really good, except there were more cheese than crackers. Then, I had the goat cheese and strawberry salad with chicken. That was so flavorful! My friend ordered pork chops with Brussels sprouts that were delicious. For dessert, I ordered creme brûlée, which tasted very good but the texture of the custard was not as smooth as I thought it should be. Overall, I loved the meal and can not wait to return.

  • Luisa V.

Unexpectedly came during happy hour and was pleasantly surprised. The Pinot noir was perfectly balanced and smooth and we ordered coconut shrimp, mussels, Brie, rice balls, sliders, flank steak and every item was amazing. Off of the happy hour, we ordered lamb sliders (the best damn sliders I've ever had) and a gluten free pasta with brussel sprouts. I highly recommend this restaurant

Don't let the strip mall location - even if it is a super fancy mall - fool you! We stopped in late night for dessert (after a Yelp search for the best dessert place by our hotel), but the menu looked so good we decided to try an appetizer too. We ordered a pork belly appetizer, orange ricotta pound cake a la mode, and Key Lime pie from the owner's family's recipe. While we were waiting we had a chance to take in the modern interior and the classic patio seating. The place was bustling! A piano man was setting up on the patio for the late night crowd and the attentive wait staff was always on the move. It is loud inside, but the acoustics are such that tables of 2 and 4 can hear each other just fine. Speaking of chatting... Paul was our server and he did a great job discussing menu items and alternate choices. He explained the menu was in transition (new season, new pastry chef) and that made us wish we'd be in town long enough to check out the upcoming offerings! The food was great, as most of the other reviews have noted. The thing I liked best - which was a late minute add on, thanks to Paul - were their Arancini rice balls. We're currently plotting a way to find our way back for a full meal before we leave FL!

Service is great, both bartenders are extremely friendly and are really the only reason I go in. They continue to provide exceptional experiences during my countless encounters with them. All my dates (those worthy enough) say the same thing, upscale experience with a touch of personality. I've had drinks and done courses of menu items and continue to be impressed with the variety of dishes offered, including the lamb sliders! Give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

Really GREAT meal here for lunch today. Natalie took super care of us, ask for her by name! Appetizers and lunch were all around great. Fresh, local ingredients and well prepared. Hands down, one of the best arancinis I've ever had anywhere. Atmosphere is comfortable. Try the brewed iced tea. Owners must be big fans of Dallas. I appreciate the reference. It's obvious this is not a chain and the owners have taken great care to open an awesome spot.

Tonight we were deciding to go to a restaurant that was special. We found a place on yelp called south fork grille. We walked in and we met a really friendly waiter. His name was Paul. Paul was awesome. He did everything we asked him to do, and he did it better then anyone else could! At the end of the night we had so much good food and so much fun we didn't wake up til 12:00 the next day. It was so good we went back the next day and asked for Paul again!

What a gem! We came out on a date night while on vacation. We took a chance based on the Yelp rating and we're NOT disappointed!! My husband had the chef's special and I had the salmon, trading out the mashed potatoes for the risotto. The service was superb, and so was the food! I highly recommend this place-wish it were in our hometown in Texas!

Very good food! Nice little outside area. We also had great service. A little pricey for lunch but worth it. I had the salmon and it was perfect. The salad dressing is very good. Try the lemon one !

We grabbed a late night bite here and were seated outside. The food was delicious!! My husband had the gnocchi with braised beef and I had the house made paperdel special. Both of the pasta dishes were incredibly tasty with fresh ingredients and well seasoned. It also came out with fresh, hot bread. Despite the delicious food, our service was awful. Our waitress barely acknowledged our presence and almost made us feel like a nuisance. I thought this may be a unique situation, but another yelp reviewer just posted a review 30 minutes ago who had the same experience.

The crispy calamari with the banana peppers and the blue cheese buerre blanc was quite possibly one of the most delicious appetizers I have EVER had. The mussels were also top notch. I highly recommend this spot.

J is a phenomenal bartender and a consummate professional, as well as an excellent representative of the brand. We thoroughly enjoyed his expertly prepared cocktails and the generously priced recommendations for gorgeously presented appetizers during their happy hour. I STRONGLY recommend this restaurant to all foodies and fans of great service and solid, appropriately-priced cuisine in Southwest Florida (which I have noticed has a shortage of these qualities in most locations). Cheers to J!!

I came for lunch on a weekday, sat outside (it was a brisk 80 degree Southwest Florida day), and ate the pan-seared salmon with green beans, onions, and rice with a creamy though thick sauce. The salmon was okay - I have had far better. The sauce was delicious, if a little heavy. Tucked in the middle of the Coconut Point mall, the location is very nice (Barnes & Noble within walking distance for post-meal coffee and reading). The service was dutiful and fast (although the place was not exactly bumping at noon on this particular Monday afternoon). The menu had a lot of intriguing options, which I would probably come back for if I find myself in the area again. There is also an impressive wine selection, which I unfortunately did not get a chance to sample.

Good food! The lobster bisque bowl is a meal and a good deal at $12. Nice flavor. The coconut shrimp tasted more like fried food than coconut, but they weren't bad. The dipping sauce didn't do much for the dish, but the shrimp were tender. Competition around here is stiff and these coconut shrimp are average. My mother's burger was nice. Big and juicy (I had a bite or three) The service was great. I would go back!

This review has been long over due. I have been going there regularly for almost a year now. South Fork Grille has been my new favorite place to dine at. They have the perfect combination of customer service and great food. I've dined at higher end restaurants in town, and they don't match up with South Fork's value. Great restaurant, fantastic fresh food!

Delicious and charming! We were visiting the area from Tampa Bay on a little weekend gig...brought the jet-skis to enjoy the awesome water. Searched on Yelp for something different. So we selected South Fork Grill! The young pretty girl seated us with a big smile, followed by a outstanding server- her name was Diana - ask for her she was excellent . Started out with oyster appetizers - off the chart good ...,my wife ordered the shrimp n grits - better than anything during our trip 4 wks early to NOL. Delicious flavor prepared perfectly ! I had the duck chef special. Nice combination of sauces over white beans... I credit the dishes to the chef who was behind the scene - like all chefs they get little recognition for there hard work... Nice work chef...!!! You got to try this place . We 'll be back!

I was in Bonita Springs for vacation so I relied on the yelp reviews for this place. Boy, were they misleading. First, the place appears to be clean and well kept. This is a facade. As soon as we ordered our food, we were SWARMED with fruit flies. I should mention that we sat inside, not outside. A woman, who I can only assume was the manager, casually mentioned to us that she doesn't know how to get rid of them. One, this shows me that you are well aware of this problem. Two, you get rid of them the way you do any infestation. Clean your bar, clean your kitchen, then call an exterminator. On the plus side, the food was mediocre. The mussels were tiny and overcooked (yet somehow some of the shells remain closed). The salad was plain and overdressed. If this is the best Bonita Springs has to offer, I'm glad I don't live here. The only shining moment was the extremely helpful bartender who doubled as our sever. No surprise that there were no actual servers present since we were the only patrons.

Looking for a bit of seafood, I encountered this restaurant while shopping. Set on a corner in a row of restaurants, I also had to consider my teenager with me. With a burger called "Very Large Cheeseburger" I knew I found the best option for my teen. But what I ordered was what I'd been looking for all trip. Arancini balls with marinara sauce was divine. And then exactly the seafood I was looking for was the pan seared scallops over a risotto. The sea scallops were giant and seared and cooked to perfection. Under them was Swiss chard that gave the dish extra flavour and the risotto to balance the rest of the dish. This meal satisfied all of our cravings for seafood to meat.

My burger meat was not good, and not pink. Really overcooked. (See culvers review). It was in that range. My side was cold. All in all I wish we would have gone to tarpon point and spent 20% more for a meal that was enjoyable. Because this was not. Their ratings reflect a better experience and Id like to try again but no thanks. The ambiance is very nice and the staff and owners are nice.

Ok so I am not great about checking in when at a restaurant,. I have been to this place about 12 times and always have enjoyed the food and service. That was before this last trip. I ordered Salmon with a Pesto Sauce on top. When the Salmon came out it was Raw under that gigantic pile of Pesto. I finally got the Waitresses attention and sent if back. to my surprise it came back in less than 5 mins, with all the old left over Pesto Sauce piled back on top of the raw salmon. Yes this means that the next round was still raw inside. I can only guess that they have no idea what a thermometer is or that maybe they dont even have one. They sent the old grilled veggies back as well, but by now they were so only that it looked like a pile of grease on my plate. I had ordered Brussels sprouts and they were burnt on one side and hard as a rock on the other. They had been so over cooked that some of the leave where actually dehydrated. After my second mishap I decided not to bother eating anything and waited for my friends to finish. Our waitress informed me that she took the price of the Salmon off of my bill... REALLY... are you kidding me.! Of course I am not paying for food I could not eat. I did ask the waitress to have the Manager come out to see me, but 10 mins later no one bothered to show up. You have lost me as a guest.

The grill has a terrific location in Coconut point mall. We had dinner here last night, all four of us ordering fish entrées. Service was excellent and, this being off-season, we had no trouble getting a reservation. I would have given this restaurant four stars except for one error with my meal. I do not eat red meat and the sweet potatoes that accompanied my fish had bacon in it. The problem was promptly fixed. I would certainly try this restaurant again.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Very professional staff - attentive, polite, helpful. Shadow of the owners. Been back in Bonita for a week, eating out T my favorites every night, and this was the best. Seafood pappardelle was delicious with ample seafood. My wife had black grouper with risotto. She was very happy.

During the recent art fair, my brother-in-law and I stopped in about 3:45pm and told the maitre de that we just wanted to have a beer or two outside and she said all tables were reserved. There were only two tables occupied at the time. When I asked why she rather smugly said again they were all reserved. I then asked her if we could have our beers at the bar and she said no again, saying they were all "saved" for people coming for their dinner. There were only two people at the bar! Saved at 3:45pm for people coming for dinner? When I last tried to explain we would be gone before 5:00pm, she said there was nothing she could do. So we went next door to Mereday's Brasserie and were warmly welcomed and invited to sit anywhere we wanted. We enjoyed our two beers, left at 5:00pm and walked by the South Fork Grille with almost all of the tables outside still empty. We frequent the restaurants at Coconut Point Mall so guess where will never try again?!

This was actually my 2nd visit to South Fork. On our first we did the early bird special which includes a bottle of wine with the order of 2 entrees, quite a deal when you consider the quality of the food. On this visit we ordered from a pared down menu they were using on Valentines day which unfortunately did not include the Branzino I was looking forward to. I picked the scallops over risotto which truly was prepared perfectly, just a great sear on the scallops. My wife had the filet which was quite good, but said she would try to substitute the risotto on the next visit. My only knock on the South Fork is that it can be quite loud inside, too many hard surface and it was a cool night so that was our preference. It really is a 4.5

Let me preface this by saying I often give businesses the benefit of the doubt, and if you look at my previous reviews I typically err on a positive note. This is not one of those times. I apologize in advance for the length, but I want to get the details right on why people should steer very clear of this establishment. In short: This place had laughably bad food and worse service, which was magnified by the price they deem fair to charge for both. We went here with my family over the weekend, as we had looked at the menu online and were excited about the food. Upon arrival, we were informed that they had a new chef, and the chef changed the menu entirely from what was on their website. Not a problem, we are an agreeable group just happy to be spending time together. As long as the food is still okay, right? Half a star goes towards the atmosphere: it was nice, though it's not tough to make outdoor seating in south Florida a good experience. What really surprised me though was the lack of service. Our server consistently brought out the wrong food at the wrong time, mixed up orders and drinks, and left long spaces between touching our table. Again, no big deal, we chalked it up to her being new. The problems really started when the food began to arrive. A runner brought out the wrong salad to my father. When he pointed it out, the runner said [paraphrased] "No, this is what you ordered, this is what it looks like." He had ordered a lobster salad on mixed greens and got something like a wedge salad with some (partially frozen) crab on top. The food runner argued again before taking the salad away entirely (and bringing nothing else back in return). My grandfather was brought out his entree as an appetizer. He ordered as his dinner the appetizer portion of shrimp and a side of fries. The server brought out the shrimp as his appetizer and when he asked about it she said [paraphrased] "You ordered the shrimp for your appetizer and the french fries for your meal." Does that even make sense? Why would she even argue that? The brie was good. So. That's the other half of this star. After delivering our entrees, our server came back to check on us after a bit. When asked, we politely informed her the food, frankly, was awful. And it was. The pasta dish I ordered was so overcooked it was basically mush, and nobody bothered to reduce the wine in the sauce so it was still bitter and boozy and sitting in a separated pile of butter. Three of the other people at our table gave up with their meals after a couple of bites as well. This might pique a server's interest typically, but not ours. She looked at the untouched plates after hearing our comments, shrugged and said "Ok." Like... what? Shortly after, we heard the table behind us complaining about their food to their server - so we knew we weren't the only people feeling the sting of a lousy cook. Then the "manager" came by. That's in quotes because I'm not entirely sure that was his job. He seemed like a really handsy bartender[?] (he really enjoyed touching people without their permission) who filled in as a pseudo-management role. We said our waitress was doing okay but we could tell the stress of a weekend dinner shift was still hard on her. He said [paraphrased] "Oh she's not new, she's been here for awhile." Then we told him the same thing about the food - again, motioning to our untouched dinners. He said [paraphrased] "Nobody has ever complained about our food before." Bro. We literally just watched him say that to the table behind us. There was no offer to remove the uneaten entrees from our bill - not even a comp'd drink or dessert (In addition to our large party of apps and entrees, we had ordered two bottles of wine along with some other drinks). We ended up having to pay full price for a dinner that left us hungry and a little queasy. That is so weird! Even at the road-side diner I used to work at, we didn't require customers to pay for food they hadn't touched. So if you're looking for a nice evening out, go somewhere else. Seriously. This area is teeming with good eats and you could throw a dart anywhere on the map and land at a good restaurant. Unless it's South Fork Grille.

Excellent food, service and hospitality. I'd like for this place to be the place to be seen in SWFL. They welcome you by name and act like they really want to please everyone that comes in. I can't say enough about how blessed I feel to have met Joe, Donna and their staff. I will tell everyone I know about this place and why they should come here.

Last evening was exceptional with a lovely dinner outside at South Fork Grille. Our Niçoise salad was delicious with flavors to delight the tastebuds. I had Bronzini which was fantastic. Mark had grilled snapper which he thoroughly enjoyed. For dessert a must was the triple chocolate brownie heated and baked drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce accompanied with ice cream. We met Donna, the personable owner and Sean, our waiter, was professional in every way. We will definitely rreturn . Thank you Ruthie & Allan for this recommendation. xoxo

Stopped by the Southfork Grille based on some yelp reviews and it didn't disappoint. My family and I were visiting Fort Myers and opted to stay in nearby Estero and boy were we pleasantly surprised. This place is nestled in Coconut Point, an impressive outdoor shopping center that looks more like upscale Spanish villas than stores! We made a reservation but we didn't need to, although the interior was full, the outdoor patio was empty. We opted for indoors when we made our reservation but found out the entertainment would be on the patio. The hostess informed us we could move to the patio but we opted to stay inside for our meals. Our waitress (Jessie) was extremely personable and boy did she hustle! There are not many tables inside but it seemed she was the only waitress on! My mom and I ordered Pinto Grigio and it was crisp and refreshing! The watermelon salad was perfection! I could eat it all day, my mom felt the balsamic dressing was too sweet but I loved it! Our entrees were delicious but a little expensive I thought. We opted to enjoy the entertainment on the patio once they set up and our waitress let us pick a table outside and she continually checked on us throughout the night which was appreciated.

Good food at a reasonable price. Nice outdoor seating. Our server, Jessie, did a great job. The BLT burger and the NY strip peppercorn steak were excellent. Next time, we try the grouper and the scallops. Sorry we missed the Osso Bucco special by a day.

Really liked this place. Had the steak sandwich for lunch and it was delicious. I always love when a place offers sweet potato fries or chips as a side, and South Fork Grille does! Service was fine, and price was reasonable.

What direction is South Fork Grille heading in??? I have been a patron of this restaurant since they were The Grape, and have spent many enjoyable visits at the bar with Jay or Paul. I have been served by several others that provided me with great service, as well. I have always been pleased with their food, especially the lamb sliders with goat cheese and arugala (YUM!). I have to say, the last few times that I have been in, I have not been impressed with some of the staff. The lady tending bar (Diane or Diana?) was very rude, and rolled her eyes at customers more than once, over simple requests. Her tattoos on her arms and her overall appearance and demeanor is really something I would expect to see at a Waffle House - not an upscale wine bar. On my last visit, I opted to sit at a table instead of the bar. However, I still had to listen (more than once) to her using profanity across the restaurant, as she described driving her car "...into an f-ing canal" and laughing. Again, save the trucker talk for a Shoney's. There is a new manager there, who came to my table to ask how my meal was. He was very polite. I will be back, but I will NOT sit at the bar when she is working. Their food is awesome, and I'm hoping that their staffing issues will eventually take care of themselves.

No freezers!!! I've eaten here at least 100 times over the last 6 years and the food is nothing short of spectacular. No restaurant is perfect but Joe, his wife, and staff are exceptional. Everything is made from scratch and I mean everything. They don't even own a walk in. One of my favorite restaurants on the planet.

We decide on this place for my wife's birthday dinner after a movie. To get there we walked past some pretty swanky bistros, resturants and a Ruths Chris steakhouse to get here. And it was the best return on that walk investment. No reservation, was able to sit in 5 minutes (monday at 6:30 ) I've seen better, but decent selection of beer. Wife had a pinot that was very good. Large wine selection. I saw the fish and chips go by it looked good. Wife had the chicken. Food was outstanding. Triple chocolate cake was spectacular. Service was great. We're not big birthday celebration people, but when my wife wanted just a half glass more to go with the cake, she let it out. Within a minute, two glasses of champaign were on the table, the half glass of wine followed. Several other servers leaned in and wished her a happy day. All very subtle, but appreciated. Server was Nicki . Smiled, approachable and attentive. We really enjoyed this place.
