I'll overlook the fact that my carry-out was not correct (I think they mixed up our burgers and dressed the wrong ones). If you overcook my burger, you may as well toss it into the trash. We went back last Monday (and it wasn't busy), sat at the bar and waited 5 minutes for service. It got to the point where I said "if she doesn't greet me in the next 30 seconds, I'm leaving". Luckily for the bartender, she came in the nick of time and we had no issues with the entire experience. They have a HUGE beer selection and this cool ice ring around the bar, which keeps the beer cold and prevents it from sweating all over. Brilliant! CONS: If you deviate from the menu of pre-built burgers, they make you build your own, which takes the cost of a $14 burger and turns it into a $21 burger (it's not THAT good). I've sworn off the burgers - because they always have the aftertaste of LIGHTER FLUID. However, I've opted for appetizers and a delicious portabella mushroom burger and was able to enjoy the experience. Because it's new and trendy (an near FGCU) it gets really busy. Good for them! It's nice to have a decent restaurant that has good food, a great beer selection and full bar right around the corner.

The food and service are good. The ambience is cool, especially if you're a fan of Henry Ford. Be sure to check out the "themed restrooms."

Been coming here for a long time. Lately it seems as though quality and service no longer matter - at any location. Today, service was not only slow, which I know can be the kitchens issue, but thoughtless. Food was inconsistent and of seven menu items only one came out as the menu states ordered two orders of Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese to go and they had no cheese and no BBQ. Frustrating. Want to like it more.

Really busy on the Friday after the holiday. We were really impressed with their table paging system which sends you a text message when it's your turn to be seated. We were told it would take up to a half hour to be seated, but because we weren't picky about where we sat(inside or out), we were actually seated in under 10 minutes. The atmosphere was very cool with various truck, car and gas station paraphernalia. Check out the restroom sinks for some interesting conversation later. Was worried that our meal would be all atmosphere and no substance. However the burgers were surprisingly tasty as well as a bit messy. And while we didn't taste them, we saw and smelled some amazing looking soft pretzels. Good food and a fun atmosphere. Iwill put this on my "try again" list if I am ever in the area again.

Burgers great, excellent service, cool atmosphere, decent priced beers. Surprised by this place

This is a restaurant has a great atmosphere and fantastic service. The problem is the burgers. No seasoning. I ordered mine medium and it was tasteless. Had to add salt and I never do that. Burger was dry too. Wife ordered the fish and chips, she enjoyed it. If they would at least season the meat I would give it another star or two, but this is a place that is supposed to be known for its burgers.

The appetizer was good we had the shrimp. We were very excited about our burgers only to be disappointed. I had the Kobe beef and my boyfriend had Angus. Both were just bland without any real flavor. It was a little dry too. The truffle fries I got were decent. But we pretty much took one bite of those burgers and were done with it. Got a check, paid and left. We aren't going again.

Carol Rhode Island had the chop shop salad. It was awful. Next time ordering a burger.

Love this place, really cool decor, burgers are amazing, great craft beer selection, live the old Model T hanging over the bar. You gotta try the hot dog sliders, simple yet fantastic and you gotta love the vintage pics and scenery in there. Great job

Worst place in south FL. On a Sunday, the wife wants to shop at the outlet mall so we agree I'll watch the game here. With no less than 10 empty tables, management insists on waiting list. Only explanation would seem to be to maintain appearance of popularity. For an overpriced tavern in an outlet store Mecca, I definitely won't be back. Rather stay home and let the wifey of shop. (Parents live in the area, so potential regular ish customer turned into angry yelper never to return.) Btw, their awesome management style left me watching the game standing and refusing to spend a dime during the wait. At halftime, we left the area and I spent our lunch money elsewhere.

This is such a fun burger place at Miromar Mall with a Garage / Model T theme and creative menu. I've been here about 5 times and its been great every time. (*get the bartender to honk the horn and blow smoke out of the tailpipe of the vintage car hanging over the bar)

It was pretty good. I had a burger with Swiss cheese and mushrooms. The ice tea was really weak though. I had good service from our waitress Alice. Overall it was fine. I would do it again if I wanted a burger while at Miramar.

Service was excellent, and the food came quickly even though it was very very busy. The burgers were fantastic, fries crispy and non greasy. We were seated outside and it began to rain, we were quickly moved to a dry spot. Blue cheese bacon burger was loaded with blue cheese and bacon, nothing was skimpy. Can't wait to go again!

The food was just warm like it had been sitting , fries were cold , none of the burgers were cooked like we asked . It was a very disappointing experience . Waitstaff was not very pleasant . The place is highly over rated Bad enough to make me write this review

There were 6 of us we did call ahead seating and were seated right away. Got drinks and appetizers in a reasonable amount of time. Then waited almost an hour from order time to get our food, and I had to grab the waitress and let her know we needed drinks. Poor service 3 out of 6 thought there hamburgers were good. Two thought hamburgers fair and 1 person had meatloaf but did not like it. I do not eat flour so no potato for me as all fries had flour on them. I like my vegetables ala Dente but they were really firm like barely cooked. Spoke with manager as we left she apologized but we won't be back

I have eaten here twice and felt I have just wasted my money. The decor lives up to its name. A garage. Great for conversation. However the first time I ordered the Slider Trio it was average. Most recently I ordered the Fish and Chips. The haddock was bland with a greasy batter , no taste whatsoever. I upgraded my platter to Onion Rings from the normal French Fry side for $2. It came with 3 onion rings. We ordered at least we thought we ordered a side of Mac & Cheese. My daughter took a bite because it looked delicious, it was the worst tasting Mac & Cheese I've ever put in my mouth and when I got the bill it was a $6.95 dish I'm sure the waiter noticed I had 90% of my fish left and 99 % of the M & C left and never asked if something was wrong. I did tell my family if weren't for good company and the neat decor we truly would've wasted our hard earned money there. Different strokes for different folks but Ford's Garage won't see our money anymore. Hope this helps someone.

Nice ambience, very friendly waitress, food left something left to be desired. The beer selection was very impressive, so for someone who likes a great selection this is the place for you. Ordered a hamburger medium well, basically got it rare, the sides were fair at best. Took quite a while to get the food, but maybe this could be attributed to the restaurant being fairly new and the cooks and staff maybe not being familiar with everything Not bad but I probably would not be returning.

We go to the Ford's Garage downtown often, and decided to give this one a shot. Love the atmosphere here, and the food is great. I highly recommend the Cajun Mac. Our server was Katelynn and she took great care of us. Better service than we ever had at the downtown location. We will definitely be back.

We found this restaurant very quaint. Our server was very friendly and knowable about the variety of beer and food. While our hamburgers were a bit over cooked for well done, we still found them good. After reading the other reviews I am now confused on how to order my hamburger. I guess I will ask how I should order if I do not want the meat blood red and just cooked through. We had several samples of the on tap beers. Great idea since we ordered one. We will be back!

We've been to the Ford 's Garage in Ft. Myers several time and have always been very happy with both the food and service. Hopefully our experience tonight in Estero can be attributed to the restaurants newness and their team not quite in sync yet. However, those weren't the only issues that didn't sit well with us tonight. We had no problem waiting for a table and the wait was actually less than we were quoted which we thought was an encouraging sign. The wait staff was very pleasant and apologetic and when the food actually arrived an hour after we ordered it, it was delicious and reasonably priced, but we only ordered two burgers. That takes 10 minutes in Five Guys and they're much cheaper. My only criticism of the food is, they need a heartier bun for their burgers that doesn't disintegrate in your hands before you're finished with your burger. The couple at the table next to us got so frustrated waiting for their food they got up to leave after waiting an hour and a half and never receiving anything. Our table was about 5 feet from the bar and during our hour wait for our hamburgers I got to watch an attractive blonde in a tight dress make out with her boy friend and chew on his ear at the bar. She was probably as hungry as we were waiting for her order to arrive. Thank god my wife's back was to the bar or we probably would have left too. Keep in mind this was between 6:30 and 7:30 on a Sunday night. There were kids in the restaurant having dinner watching this. My wife also made a visit to the ladies room during our wait and said it was messy similar to what you would expect to find in a bar late at night. Hopefully the management will read this and take appropriate action where needed. They have a great restaurant in Ft. Myers and I'm sure once they get the kinks out here and get through their growing pains they will pull this one together. I'd give it a while.

This is because of the rude service from the waitress..went there last night after hockey game with another couple who's 1st time at place ..sat down down and immediately got greeted by waitress who hates her job..asked for a blue moon.. told by her she didn't know if they have it and threw menu at us and said read it .. they ran out of some deserts and when finally got one .the ice cream part.was missing ...told waitress who stated" what did you eat it"....haa..gotta say good line,.. when she finally brought it, she threw it on table in plastic cup and said "here's your ice cream."...complained to manager who was very professional..been to fort myers location many times ,,never a problem..good luck to this one if they don't work out kinks....

Two stars because it had some glimmer of hope in between all the down falls. To begin let me say the concept of the restaurant is really cool. A bunch of little things that add in the car theme without being over board. But as we sat down and ordered our drinks, me and three others, ordered onion rings for appetizer. We get the onion rings about 15 minutes later and order our main entrees and this is where it got fun. We sat with dirty plates from the onion rings waiting for our entrees for literally 30-40 minutes. We finally had to get the waitress to do her job and clear the dirty dishes!!! Seriously though! We had to tell her multiple times we needed a new side of this and that because it was forgotten. It was just an all around mess. My food was fine but someone at the table didn't eat their burger because it was burnt and didn't want anything else and they still charged her! Wtf!?!? But very slow poor service but I will give the waitress a benefit of a doubt and just assume she had an off night. If I get around to trying it again I will update but again my food wasn't bad. I had the chicken burger with goat cheese, tomato and bacon, if you were wondering. Thats another thing the tomato slice was green and hard as a rock in the middle of it (not ripe) and my side ceaser literally had NO CAESAR dressing on it!!!Another thing stopping it from a one star rating was the "mystery bag" drawing of beers which ended up being really good beers! That is my review, again I will update if I ever try Ford's again.

We have been going to Ford's for a long time and it's always been great. However, our service today at Miromar was HORRIBLE! Server only apologized once and it wasn't even a real apology. He came over and checked on us after we had been waiting patiently for at least an hour for our food. He said, sorry just checked on your food and it's still going to be a few minutes, as you have a bigger party (party of 6 adults and baby) and you all ordered BYO burger. It takes longer and was pushed few checked behind. WHAT? Really? Well, I've worked in restaurant industry for several years and was enjoying our time, so we were polite about it and didn't complain. Still several minutes went by and no food. Additionally, No manager ever came to our table to check on us. I went looking to see if I could find a manager, but none could be found. Saw the server and asked how much longer it would be. By this time I was starving and we had tired baby, because we had waited close to hour and half for food. Food was brought, but everyone had something wrong. Sides and sauces were all messed up, nothing major that couldn't be fixed easily. We let the sever know and you could tell he did not feel like being there and said, I wrote it down right, but have no control what they do in kitchen. Then everyone ordered broccoli, but it was still raw. Told him about it. He brought more, but said if it's still not good, it's just how they cook it and out of his control. Well, it was still raw and cold and he never checked back to see how it was. No one ate their broccoli and he never offered to get us a different side. Very disappointed in the service today, but the burgers were good. Typically the service is not as it was today. Either the server was having a very bad day or needs to not be a server.

I like the ford's in downtown Ft. Myers but I love that this one is a lot more spacious. I already knew I love the big beer list and the burgers and the wings and the fries! Oh and the sinks in the bathroom are priceless- so cool.

Service was good and waitor checked on our service a couple of times. Both sandwishes we ordered were very good. No room for desert when finished.

We ordered the fried pickle appetizer and some burgers. The food was well prepared. I really enjoyed the Black & blue burger. Very nicely seasoned and cooked to the right temperature. Drinks were good and the staff was friendly. I like the text message system to notify when our table was ready. Also the bathrooms are cool. All around, it's a winner!

This is only my 2nd time at this location and I wasn't impressed. I ordered the Ford's Signature burger cooked medium in a lettuce wrap. It came out teetering between midwell and well and like it had sat in the window too long. It was barely warm on a single piece of soggy lettuce. The fries were just warm and I was craving hot fries with a bit of crispy edges. I was taking my last bite before the waitress checked on me and never offered to refill my glass. I'll excuse it since she was waiting on ignorant snowbirds and was maybe having a rough day. They weren't that busy at all and we sat outside.

A definite favorite! Great craft beer selection, the lobster mac and cheese is SOO GOOD as well as the Mini Angus Sliders with sweet potato fries! YUM!

  • Tyler H.

Excellent burgers and a craft beer list that's one of the best in town (only better ones I can think of would be a House of Brewz and World of Beer) make this a great stop if you want a burger and a beer. The burgers are well-crafted, with the exception that one of ours was requested medium-rare and arrived medium-well (albeit with the medium-rare flag in the bun). Fries were fresh-cut, and tasty. The decor is very "1930's barn/garage," including a car behind the main bar, and the coolest washroom fixtures I've ever seen (I'm not spoiling the surprise. Go wash your hands before the meal and see what I mean.). Party of 2 plus a child, for lunch, with a beer for one of the adults, ran under $40 before tip.

I love the Ford's downtown Ft Myers, been there over a dozen times & while the burger temps are correct only half the time, the staff, abiance & food have made it one of my favorite places. We stopped into this new one a week ago, decor is pretty much the same only spread out so seemed more chain-like, the staff was comprised of young kids who actually knew a heck of a lot about the beer selection (huge beer selection) Our burgers were overcooked but that's to be expected half the time at Ford's, but I got violently ill that night, it wasn't full blown food poisoning because it was quick & brutal, but it was from the burger (I think the roasted red peppers were bad, they looked duller in color than what I'm used to, who knows), so I can't love this place as much as the downtown location. They need a closer eye on what goes on in the kitchen, overall I would drive the extra distance to the other one, I prefer the staff, ambiance & (of course) food there. I wish them luck!

First off, order an appetizer because you're gonna wait a bit. The food's worth it, but... We ordered the shrimp with a wild wings like sauce on it, was really good. The food came out some time later, and voila, what a meal. The burgers are impressive with ford's logo branded into the bun, but the burgers are really good. If you don't see a burger to your liking, you can customize off the next page. Word to the wise, the jalepenos aren't chopped, just served whole on burger. Makes it kind of sloppy to eat, but it's a really good burger to begin with. Medium might have been a little pinker than medium that I'm used to, but that's a preference thing, and I've worked in kitchens enough to know that people can be super picky. If you want a medium you're more often gonna end up with rare, so don't be super uptight about it. Anyhow, the fries where good, and wanted to try the fries in the different kind of oil, but we waited long enough for the ones we ordered with.

If you're going on a weekend, call ahead for reservations. They have a text message system that lets you know when your table is available so you can shop while you wait. Once seated, the wait for our food took a while but our wait staff kept us updated on the status of our food and apologized for the wait. Stick to the burgers and fries. I ordered the cobb salad and did not enjoy it. The lettuce and tomato bits were too large and the chicken was on the dry side. We also got the signature burger that was pretty good.

I LOVE this place! I've been here for lunch plenty of times, I've never ordered a burger but I get the macaroni and cheese Everytime. My fav is the lobster mac n cheese which is to die for. The decor is very nice and the bathrooms have awesome looking sinks! If you are visiting or live in this area I suggest paying a visit here!

In town from St. Louis had dinner with family. Restaurant was VERY creatively designed and always something neat to look at. Food was great!! Broccoli was under cooked though. Service was wonderful by Jayne:) Drinks are unique! Not a very good mixed drink selection but great beer selection. After dinner went outside to the bar and had a drink and desert with shanna. She was wonderful to be around and nice to talk to. Will be back!

Have been there a couple times- recommended to us. Great burgers & love the pretzel appetizer with cheese dips. Lots of unique and cool touches. Ice rim around bar will keep your beer/ beverage cold!

We decided on this on site mall restaurant after shopping for several hours. We're definitely glad that we did. Our waitress, Jessica, was super courteous and made excellent drink and burger recommendations. I had the Ford signature burger which was cooked at medium to perfection. Their sweet potato fries served with maple syrup were out of the world! Try them out...you will not be disappointed

This place came recommended for its beer. Ate at the outside bar as we are from Boston and it being 5 days before Xmas and 80 degrees We'd be foolish not to. The bar tender, Ashley, was very knowledgeable about the beer styles and flavors. The burgers were very good as well. Even the people at the bar were friendly. Some Jim Dugger looking dude was hitting on some Laurie Loughlin looking gal and bought the bar a round. Laurie lookalike refused. Fool! Good decor, friendly staff and even friendly patrons. Loved it. Had a great time. Highly recommend this place.

Solid. Great place for a family or group of friends. The whole theme obviously is Ford Cars. They have a very cool theme, and excellent location. Burgers, Fries, beer...that sorta thing. I've personally had a better burger but I ordered the pretzel bun which I regret. Everyone I was with really enjoyed their food, and the service was pretty good too.

My boyfriend and I ate here about a month ago and I have wanted to write a review. The food here is ALWAYS delicious. I always order the Tuna Me Up Ahi Tuna sandwich which is as good or better each time I eat it. My boyfriend took a chance with the Jiffy Burger and of course I had to try a taste. It was ABSOLUTELY delicious. I HIGHLY recommend both sandwiches! We cannot wait to go back!

This is a late review but nonetheless ... I visited Ford's this past winter, - we had waited about 25 minutes to be seated and then - waited an additional 10 minutes for our waitress to greet us at our table. - I asked that my 4-year old's meal come out first rather than wait on all four of our adult meals, that did not happen. When we were finally able to flag down our absent waitress she told us it would be another 10 minutes. I asked her to please go and check with the kitchen (chicken fingers and french fries do not take 30+ minutes), she did and came back with all of our meals. Before leaving Ford's, my mother-in-law and I took a quick trip to the restroom. We passed by the open kitchen doorway and saw what I can only describe as inexcusable filth: large bags of trash piled up right next to food, dirty dishes everywhere, waste on the floor, etc. I would not eat one more thing from this place. Ever.

Most recent visit was not good. Came with a party of 8 plus 3 kids. I understand restaurants have trouble with large parties and it can often take longer which I expected. This experience however was ridiculous. It was a Sunday evening in the off season and the restaurant was about half full. The host/hostess was very confused as to how to seat us. Finally asked a server for help and they pushed some tables together, it would have been enough room for the adults but we also needed 3 high chairs. I explained this to him and he told me that it will work we can fit 10 at this table. I said great but we have 11. He insisted that it would work instead of pulling over one of the other 15 open tables that were nearby. We made it work but nobody in the party was comfortable the entire meal. Drink order took forever, so long that as soon as she brought my first Luke warm beer I ordered another because I knew how long it would take. They did not have any kids menus available and said they need to go to the office to print some. Now anyone that has ever been out to dinner with 3 kids under the age of 3 knows the struggle. These kids need to eat ASAP before their attention is on to something else. After she brought our drinks we ordered 3-4 appetizers and asked for a kids menu to which she replied she was working on it. Appetizers came and still no kids menu. When asked for the third time she said she could probably just tell us what's on it. It was a valiant effort but didn't know prices, drinks or side offerings. We just dealt with it as I was with family and did not want to create a scene by letting her know how incompetent she was. I ordered the Black and Blue burger which I had tried on a previous visit and loved. This time it was not nearly as good. In fact, everyone in our party pretty much echoed the same feelings. Seems as if the quality has gone down hill and they are just going through the motions instead of trying to create a quality product. All in all just average food this visit, beer on the warm side and poor service. And by the way they did finally bring the kids menu and crayons about half way through the meal!

This place is a 5 all day long. They are "Famous for Burgers" but their burgers are a 4 at best. My wife had Fish & Chips and she said it was the best she ever had. My son had the Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese which was off the map. If I were to order it, I would get them separate. My daughter had a milkshake that was excellent as well! The decor was really cool, if you're a car guy this place is a must see!

Pretty good and if you are a car person you just have to go to see the bathrooms, the bar and the decor. The food was pretty yummy too and they had a good beer selection. May be tough to find, it's all the way at the far East end of the outlet mall.

My wife and I took our daughter, her fiance and our grandson here last night, pretty cool layout and liked the car over the bar that honked and blew exhaust out of the pipe. I wasn't as thrilled about some of my food as others at the table. We started out with the pretzel sticks and cheese dips and shared those amongst the table and they were awesome. I ordered the Chili/Cheddar cheese burger w/fries and it was good, but not what I had expected (considering I've had a few of these in my day). The chili wasn't as hot as I'd hoped and the beef was a bit overcooked for me. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food quite a bit. Not sure when I will be back here, since it's 140 miles away from home, but I might give it another try and just order a different burger or maybe the wings instead. Good place for watching football games, plenty of big screen tv's around.

If you enjoy burgers, and draft beers, this is your place. As we pass the Model T in front of restaurant, it bring back some insight into our old 1920s 1930s auto garage. Even the bathrooms carry the same theme. For appetizer, we share an Onion Ring Tower. The deep fried onion rings were crunchy and tasty. My wife ordered Ford's Signature burger, or burger with chedder bacon, BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomato and red onion on a brioche bun with Ford's Garage mark. Her side with sweet potato fries with cinnamon sauce. She love her burger! Mine is the (American) Kobe Beef burger topped with Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, arugula, garlic aioli, lettuce and tomato on brioche bun. I also ordered the sweet potato fries. It was delicious with a local draft beer from Fort Myers Brewing Co, Gateway Gold. My other guest had the mushroom Swiss Burger with Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, lettuce, tomato and onion. Another guest ordered the Black and Blue Burger. The Black and Blue Burger was smothered with Blue cheese, bacon, caramelized onion, lettuce, tomato on a pretzel bun. They both enjoyed their burgers. For this month, there is a special draft beer from Harpoon Brewery for $4.50 all month long! Very interesting! The ambience is great and our server, Jenny, did a great job of getting the drinks and food. Highly recommend place for draft beers and burgers!

It was a surprisingly cold and rainy Florida day. I wanted a hot lunch and the smells emanating from Ford's garage lured me in. They have a large menu - mostly burgers and other classic American style meals. The thing that really stands out here is this is truly modeled after a garage. They do a great job with the branding and the decor. Everything from the sinks in the bathroom to the napkin rings are car/garage style. The server walks you through the menu, and mine was very friendly. I can't remember exactly what my burger was called, but basically it was a bacon cheeseburger. It really hit the spot on that cool day. I devoured all but one bite of an enormous burger and a heap of fries. You could certainly split one of these burgers. I was a little sad that I chose to eat the whole thing, as the desserts really good look delicious on the menu. If The outlets are busy, I would recommend trying to get in before noon. That's what I did and I was able to be seated immediately- however just 10 minutes later there was a long wait.

This was a great burger, with a great "char" taste, served with very tasty fries. I ate at the outside bar and the female bartender was attentive and professional. Overall, a great burger and great service. Loved the bathroom, too.

I rarely give 5s This place was great. It's at an outlet mall so you might be surprised. We were drawn by the beer title in their name. Huge selection of beer in bottles. See my pics. Drafts were a little low on selection. I had the Sierra Nevada torpedo. Excellent hoppy beer. The bartender was very nice. She was about busy but got help later on. The place is full of ford stuff - of course. The Kobe beef burger was top notch. I had patty melt at the suggestion of the bar back? Excellent choice. Desert was top notch. Key lime pie was the way it is supposed to be made. Overall, excellent experience. I would recommend to this place.

I had the Portabella burger. Not bad. The BBQ Nachos were excellent. My wife had fish and chips, we had to ask for the Malt Vinegar. Service ok, but sparse, this is the slow season. All in all, thumbs up

Love it here!!! Excellent atmosphere for a quick bite to eat. Love the (bar) drinks and pretzels! Very pleased that they have a mushroom burger for my vegan daughter!

Unique theme but the food was nothing special. Took my boyfriend here to fill his tummy before taking him shopping with me. The place was brightly lit and the decor was fun to look at! At one point I think the elevated car in the middle of the restaurant was shooting out gas in a theatrical way- although this was initially frightening. I ordered the cobb salad with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing and the bf had the chili burger with cole slaw. I had asked the waitress for a dressing recommendation and she really sold me on the balsamic vinaigrette. Unfortunately when she brought out my salad, it had ranch on it. I typically would never order ranch so she said she'd bring me another one.. But at this point my bf was already eating his burger so I didn't want him to awkwardly wait until my new salad came out. She brought me a side of the BV dressing and it was really tasty! Wish they made it right the first time because I didn't have to have the calories of two dressings. Bummer. Well the boyfriend thought the chili burger was good but it could use a bit more chili. The burger had a HUGE slice of raw onions and this was not great for fresh breath.... The slaw was dry and bland. We thought the food was mediocre. And there were definitely some flaws. Okay I have to say it... Is it absolutely necessary for the waitresses here to be so exposed? I mean there was a LOT of jiggle and bounce and it made me a little uncomfortable seeing kids at the other tables. This isn't Hooters, it's unnecessary. Someone get these girls some shirts instead of letting them walk around in slingshots.

Good and tasty burger!! Happy Hour specials on drinks were a great deal. Many many different beers on tap & in the bottle here. Service was very friendly. Perfect place to stop by if you're in the outlets shopping for the day. Place got busy later once sports were all over the many TV's. Definitely a return here again!

A great one of a kind restaurant you'll only find here in Fort Myers FL. There food and beer is simply great. If you're looking for great tasting food and a unique experience, this is your place. Their burgers are great and fully customizable. Any of them can be made to order for whatever your taste are. The mac and cheese is also amazing and a family favorite here. I suggest trying the pulled pork mac and cheese! I'm also a fan of their chili cheese fries, as they're the best I've ever had! Along with the food is the amazing beer selection available. I've been here several times with friends to try the beer samplers and enjoy tasting different beers that change monthly and seasonally. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that the service can be decent at best. I've had really good service and not so good service, but that will not stop me from coming in or recommending this great place.

Attention lettuce lovers: Mmmmm nah. Sitting there waiting for lunch, I noticed that not one other person ordered a salad. Burgers here, burgers there, fries, burgers, fries, burgers, burgers, wings? These burgers looked good. The fries? Oh. So. Possibly. Good. On the other hand, my spinach salad with shrimp and my mom's chicken caesar salad were just...lettuces with things in them. Don't get me wrong, they were okay, but stick with the burgers. But OH the beer selection! I was very happy to sip on a Tommyknocker Jack Whacker Wheat Ale as I did 5 months ago whilst businessing in the altitudes of Aspen - a hard choice given the pages and pages of beers to choose from. The decor is as crazy as Guy Fieri's hair - people wash their hands in the bathroom sink made of a tire, with water that comes out of a gas pump. Messy burger? Use the actual garage rag "napkin." Cars and tires and other related items can be found in every corner. .. Hey Farva what's the name of that restaurant you like with all the goofy shit on the walls and the mozzarella sticks? You mean Shenanigans? .. If the Shenanigans from Super Troopers was real, I think it might be well represented as Ford's. (I mean that in a generally amusing, good way.) 1.5 stars for the salad, 4 for the beer selection, and a little kick for what I will refer to as "definite burger potentiality."

Came here with a very large group on a Saturday night and was a little worried since I've been to the Cape Coral and Downtown locations on a busy night and service was slowwww. Luckily our server here was great and really did a great job getting drinks followed by food out to us quickly. I started with a mixed drink, some kind of blood orange margarita that sounded delicious when I read it off the menu. Unfortunately it was pretty watered down and didn't have much flavor. Switched to beer after that, which they have a very good selection of. We split the mac n cheese and the chicken sliders between the two of us - servings are very generous and everything was very good. Love that the mac n cheese actually tastes likes it's made with real cheese! Overall a good choice in the area, especially if you appreciate good craft beer and burgers!

Great spot! I love the Ford's Garage family of restaurants. Our burger was perfect, our drinks were nice and our server was enthusiastic about the establishment! Our only reason for taking one star away from this particular review was that our drinks were late a few times and our server gave us the business for leaving an empty glass near the bar, which felt a bit disrespectful. We did however, genuinely love the decor and the food and will be back in the future.

I've never been disappointed with the food at Ford's Garage (although I am upset they no longer to endless mimosas on weekends). I've tried a few of their burgers and have yet to find one that is under-seasoned or poorly cooked. This isn't a 5-star restaurant, but it has great comfort food with an amazing atmosphere. Employees are always decked out in Ford's gear that pays homage to the earlier years. You'll always find an old Ford car nestled in the middle of the wrap-around bar that has a fully functioning horn and spinning wheels. One of the newer things I've noticed at the Miromar location is the strip along the bar that helps keep your drink cool. Definitely an added 'wow' factor for all of you craft beer drinkers that have the problem of beers getting too warm after a while. Friendly reminder...If you're going during season for lunch or dinner, be prepared for a wait! Both the Downtown and Miromar locations get packed and it will take longer than usual to receive your food. It's not the servers' faults, it's just the fact that their kitchen is super busy with the other 25+ orders they're dealing with. My suggestion? Look at a menu as you're waiting for a table so that you can order a quick and easy app to keep you satisfied while you're waiting for your main meal.

All month, the special on sundays is the mac- and- cheese burger. Deep fried mac and cheese on a fresh juicy burger. O.M.G. one of the best burgers i've ever had. Thank you who ever thought of this!!

The menu is definitely overwhelming, but in a good way. I wanted every last thing in my belly! The atmosphere is completely different than your normal restaurant. Definitely a must see. You really feel like you're in a garage! The mini Nathan's chili dogs were to die for. We ordered this as an appetizer. At the first bite I was in love. They could have served me garage from there on after and I would have still been dreaming about those delicious little hotdogs!! The meal was not garage thankfully, but it sure was just a delicious!! Now stop reading this nonsense and GO EAT SOME YUMMY FOOD!

One of the best black n bleu burgers I've had. Brought the family here and we all enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I got to talk to my kids about Henry Ford, which was cool. It was well done and the staff was pretty friendly and seemed to be having fun. There's an outdoor seating area, although we sat inside at a high table. Good place to have an easy dinner or lunch. I'll visit again when I come back this way..

2.5 stars - heard the burgers were outstanding and the wings were to die for. Ate at bar, service was ok, ordered burger but bartender informed me they couldn't cook it the way I wanted which was not bloody and not burnt - ordered the wings instead - they were avg. smothered in open pit bbq sauce with a hot spice - frankly, if you want an outstanding burger, go to Fitzgerald's or the counter - been to Fords twice, not impressed -

Came here for a QUICK bite with my mother before a concert at Germaine Arena. Took me 10 minutes to get a bloody mary at the bar. Chips and dip took 30 min!!!! We then couldn't pay... We were there for almost an hour for two drinks and one appetizer... Needless to say we were late and probably will try the stir fry restaurant across the street next time.

Ford's Garage is a really uniquely decorated burger and beer joint. The choices and varieties of beers are quite impressive. They have a complete menu solely dedicated to beers of all kinds. The ambiance is welcoming and the theme is that of a 1920's service station/prohibition bar. I loved the antique Ford that hangs right above the main bar. There are pictures and quotes from the late Henry Ford scattered throughout the restaurant. On a more modern twist, there are plenty of flat screen televisions allowing it to feel like a sports bar as well. I ordered the chicken Henry with was grilled chicken breast with lemon butter, sun dried tomatoes and goat cheese on top. It came with my choice of two sides. The meal was tasty but the chicken wasn't as tender as I wished it would be. My husband ordered a burger and seemed to enjoy it. This place is great for large groups, kids and adults of all ages. It's located right off of one of the many parking areas and parking was very easy.

I ordered a hamburger well done--no pink--even the waitress agreed that it wasn't even close to being well done--2nd one was no better. They took the one I sent back and recooked it twice---ended up with a free dessert and never could eat the hamburger. My only reason for going there again is because I was dumb enough to buy gift cards at Costco.

This is a neat concept that greets you with friendly (and well endowed) female waitstaff but falls short in a few places. The burgers and fries are delicious (try the Model A) but attention to detail in the kitchen is terrible. Often times the simplest of instructions (no lettuce, no tomato, well done, etcetera) are overlooked. What should you avoid altogether? Milkshakes. I've given them multiple chances and every time they are disgusting. The shakes are 90% milk, 2% ice cream, and 8% whipped cream. They are pure liquid, always warm, and sometimes don't even taste like vanilla, choc, etc. Fords Garage is ok if you're not too concerned with getting everything you want.

Bartender is rude..skip this place! She walked by me a few times. I order two beers...she says, "when I see the other person, I'll give you the second one." I told her my wife is next door, she replied, "when I see the other person, I'll get you a second one."

PRETTY GOOD JOINT 3 1/2 STARS, actually. We split a Dunk City Cheeseburger and it was just fine. Not exceptional in that it was very plain tasting, but it was indeed huge and we were glad we divided it. The Truffle Fries ($2 upgrade!) were also okay, but nothing special. It all boils down to the fact this place is slightly above average. Food - 3 STARS Service - 4 STARS Decor - 5 STARS Value - 2 STARS (it's expensive for what you get) Location - 5 STARS

I have been to all of the Ford's restaurants in the area and this one is by far my favorite. The atmosphere is great and you can feel the welcome from the staff the minute you walk in. The food is good and I love their wings, and Mac and cheese. The choice of beers on tap is excellent and they have an ice ledge on yhr bar to keep your drinks cold...pretty cool! However we experienced something here that just does not happen in SW Florida (and we eat out a LOT!) We got great customer service! We were in a group of 6.people and there was a wait but they have a system that texts you or they call you tablet you know when your table is ready, very convenient. Now we did have a problem getting our food on time and prepared correctly but I am not going to complain about that because they made it right. They tried to correct it but because of the inconvenience they also comped the meal and took a percentage off of the bill which more than covered our inconvenience. I was so impressed by the server and manager who actually seemed to CARE which is so very rare to find in SW Florida. I was also very impressed by the way they responded to the problem we had that it doesn't even matter anymore. I will return because I have rarely found employees anywhere that actually made you feel important. Thank you!

Amazing burger and fun atmosphere. Love the garage theme since I'm an avid car person that was raised loving for model Ts. The Kibe beef burger was good and the sweet potato fries were crunchy and not too sweet.

Awesome burger selection, cant say much else bout the menu. Downtown location is really cool. Last time i had the bacon and blue, it was really tasty. The selection over all is excellent for burgers. Quality of the food is good for what you pay, its not the cheapest and Im not sure what the menu is like outside of burgers. Definitely worth a shot if you're in Estero.

Definitely don't recommend the "make your own burger option". I ordered a Portobello mushroom burger with gouda and grilled jalapenos. Well obviously I like spicy food, but they put 4 whole grilled jalapenos (with the seeds in) and the tiniest thinnest piece of cheese I have ever seen. Needless to say, I pretty much burnt my face off and my poor boyfriend couldn't even eat his meal after taking a bite of my burger. We told the manager but there was no time to have the meal replaced as we were trying to catch a show at Germain. They also don't have many gluten free options. Not sure why they wouldn't try to make it taste good just because I chose my own ingredients. Not sure if I will be back, but if I do, definitely won't be building my own burger.

Heard about Ford's Garage while we were downtown at Firestone's Grille and the valet mentioned that Miromar Outlets had one. Stopped for lunch while shopping and were pleased with the food and atmosphere. I had the Ford's Signature burger with onion rings and my wife had a custom-assembled Angus Burger with the fresh-cut fries. Both burgers were made as ordered but we expected to have a more beefy taste from the hand-made, never frozen meat. They have a strong beer selection with both inside and outside bars. We finished with a slice of Mom's Rum Cake and coffee which were both very good. The atmosphere is casual, interesting and friendly. Our waitress, Shelby (what a great name for that place), had just the right amount of attentiveness without overdoing it and knew the menu well. We'll be back and also try the other two locations in the downtowns of Fort Myers and Cape Coral.

This place was very nostalgic. I love the ford memorabilia everywhere. It was very nice. We actually sat outside and ate on the flatbed of an old truck which was very cool. I had a grilled chicken salad. It was delicious. The prices were a little high for what was being served but I didn't mind paying the extra for ambiance.

It's Saturday night and somewhat crowded as we made our way to the table on the patio. The service was very slow. It felt like 20 minutes before we even got our first drink. The food, burgers, onion rings, fries, Mac cheese and shrimp was just okay. I actually did not even get the burger I had ordered but said nothing as I ate half choking on the pepper-----red pepper. It became clear to me this is a gimmick set up to attract tourist with no substance or quality. No I will never return, and no I do not recommend this restaurant.

If you enjoy great burgers, and a great ever-changing draft beer selection, this is the place. "Period style "restaurant of 1920s 1930s auto garage. Even the bathrooms carry the theme. My wife's favorite is the tuna burger. Mine is the burger topped with pulled pork. Patio is "dog friendly", and this restaurant is one of our dog's favorite restaurants (yes she has favorites - Fords, Duffys, Culvers). We have out- of-town friends who always put this restaurant on their list when they visit. Recommend.

The service here was good-our waitress was sweet and did a great job. The food however was a toy different story. I ordered a salad which was a plate of wilted lettuce some grilled chicken and the worst "from a bottle" dressing I have ever tasted. Our waitress said that dressing was their "famous" dressing so I cannot even imagine what the others taste like. My mom had the slider sampler and said every burger was overlooked and flavorless. My husband and father both had burgers which they rated a 4/10. For reference, they said they would rather go to McDonalds for a burger. We will not be coming back!

I stopped by this place after a round of golf at a nearby course as they didn't have a pub on site. I noticed a number of other golfers here as well and I sat outside. Cool atmosphere especially with the table on the back of an old truck - tip - if you still have your golf shoes on (soft spikes) the floors in the inside will be like an ice rink (slippery for the local Floridians!) The service was fantastic, I know I mention that in a number of reviews but I tend to try to stop by places that have good service as that's an important element for me. I wasn't disappointed here as the server was very attentive the entire time even though I sat in the back corner out of the way. The food was very solid and the beer was ice cold... or should I say "beers" were ice cold. Good spot to stop after a round of golf or if you are shopping in the outlet mall.

Overpriced for the value. Wait staff not friendly. Best feature are the microbrews. This is a chain. They own 4 restaurants in a two square block area. Fords, Firestone, Mexican and Capone's. Locked down Downtown Fort Myers. Competition was squeezed out.

  • Kevin B.

Just average. Nothing more nothing less. Service wasn't as attentive as she should have been and was rather slow. Unsweetened tea tasted like they were trying to stretch those poor teabags... Nasty. You know me and unwrapped straws but I can't figure this practice out during all the outbreaks nationwide. Sanitation doesn't seem to mean much these days. Example: Busboy was cleaning the table next to us and dropped the wrapped napkin on the ground where people were walking and birds were walking ( we are on the outside patio) and proceeded to wipe it off and put it on the table. Nice dirt to wipe your mouth on. Yum.

This is a decent place to eat while shopping in the Miramar outlets. I wouldn't recommend going off the beaten path of burgers and pub food. They have a great bottled beer selection and decent draft beer line consisting of some of the larger scale Craft beer distributors. I would like to see some more local beers.

We were on a road trip and stopped to eat here. I have to admit that it was mainly for the bathroom as those gas pump sinks were very intriguing to me and I wanted to see them in person. I was not impressed with the food, at all. We had the Black-n-Bleu, the European Export, and the truffle fries. Nothing was overly delicious but the fries were good. The place itself is very nice to look at with all the memorabilia and what-not but I wouldn't go back to eat there if I were in the area. My suggestion is that you go look at the bathroom sink, maybe have a drink at the bar so you can look around and then go eat somewhere else.

This place is good sometimes... Last night we were outside at the bar the child bartender was extremely rude. His loss we left. He is there to work not act obnoxious and speak rudely to guests. I guess he is pulling down quite a few bucks to alienate LOCALS who are year round patrons.

I've been here three times since recently moving nearby and originally posted a kinder review. The first time was better than the second and the third time was awful. The issue on the most recent visit is related to the service. The burgers and appetizers were okay. Nothing memorable, typical of what you'd expect at any other chain. The ambiance is creative and original. We were in on Sat., 5/16/15, around 6:30 to watch the Preakness and have drinks and dinner before heading to Germaine Arena. There were 6 in our party. We were all outraged by the attitude of the staff member who served us. He was not attempting to be humorous, but was confrontational. He is a dreadful boor who insulted multiple members of our party. E.G. He scoffed at a dining companion asking for a third beer and asked incredulously if he had indeed finished his second beer "already." (Incidentally, we had a driver for the evening). He similarly challenged my wife when she ordered "another" drink. After dinner, my wife was talking with a lady in our party and was turned away when he asked if she was finished. I told him she was all set, to which he replied: "Boy, she sure has a short attention span?!" Other members of our party were thunderstruck and couldn't believe what we'd just witnessed. I didn't say anything, but left him a note on the back of the charge slip indicating how insulted I was by this criticism. I've never done anything like that before. While I recall his name, I'll omit it here. The six of us will likely never return. I know I will not.

Food: solid 4/4.5 Service: 3 . . . maybe The food was excellent, big juicy burgers, wonderful fries!! (Sweet Potato fries were awesome if you are into that sort of thing) Large beer list, although I am not old enough to drink it, I heard it was pretty good. The decor of the place is incredible, very garage oriented, with a model T above the bar making honks and smoke every once in a while! Bathrooms are also really cool! The downside was the wait, we waited a little too long, and once we got seated, a lot longer. Service not so great, but worth it for the awesomeness of the food!

Wow! Nothing short of it! Burgers are huge! Unbelievable beer selection. Crystal and Shelby behind the bar are the dynamic duo! Just a lot of fun. Wife and I dropped by for some lunch and shopping. Well, she shopped- I spent. But really a cool place. 2 managers stopped by just to say hey. (You never really see that anymore.) And both of those guys were very personable. One could take dressing lessons from the other as one manager was very well dressed. Not to take away from the other guy as they were both really nice. On to the food... I had the Stick to Your Ribs.... Are you kidding me! Beef topped with pulled pork slathered in tasty BBQ! This is the kind of food that anyone who calls themselves American can enjoy. Just when you think it doesn't get any better, the wife says "try this" and I take a bit of her 3 cheese chicken sandwich. Really, really good. It gets better... The ambiance is fantastic. Talking with one of the managers, he correctly points out- "this isn't a TGI Fridays or Applebee's that you've seen a million time. We paid attention to the details down to the hose clamps on the shop towels we use for napkins." And he's right. The AAAAOOOOGAAAA horn on the car blowing smoke/fog... You can watch everyone from 9 months to 90 years lights up when it goes off. The food did take longer than I expected. But who cares? It was fantastic. The place was packed. With good reason. I read some of these comments about how long the food took.... McDonald's is across the street you crabapples. Take a load off. Spends some shopping time with someone you love. Relax. Have a beer. Enjoy this place for what it is- an experience. Well run. Well appointed. Crazy good place.

Nice concept based on Ford car, very cute touches related to cars, from napkins to the bathroom sinks. They have angus beef burgers with large toping selection. I ordered mine with roasted peper, guacomole, cilantro mayo on a sesame bun, it was really good! The servers were very friendly, but it took too long for our food to arrive.

I brought my wife to Ford's Garage for her birthday dinner. Let's just say we were less than impressed with their "Burgers Of Fame". We both really enjoy a great burger and these were not. The food was sub par at best. Both burgers (the distinguished gentlemen and mushroom and swiss) we're over cooked and the patty's significantly lacked flavor. It was as though they were not seasoned at all. The spinach dip was also a let down. The chips were stale and the dip was very ordinary. The service was OK, nothing special. The menu was very expensive for what you receive in terms of quality. The decor is nice and really adds to the atmosphere although not enough to lure us back. Sorry Ford's Garage, it was a major miss for us.

Completely genius! Why didn't anyone think of this sooner? Put a decent sports bar at the edge of Miromar outlets. The husbands and boyfriends can chill there all day, drink beer, and watch sports as the ladies all get their shopping done. Usually I have to drag my poor boyfriend to Miromar, but now... quoted straight from his lips, "let's go to the outlets every weekend!" That's music to my hears. ahah! They have a decent beer selection. There's a great Saturday deal for buy any 4 bottled beers, get the 5th one free! And it really means ANY bottled beer, not just the typical domestic stuff. As for food, we only tried the fries sampler. They were decent. The burgers from the other tables looked delicious. I'll have to try those next time! Since they just opened, be prepared to wait! When we got there around 1PM, a table for 2 people was an hour. They'll put your name in and text you when your table is ready. Which is nice, you can walk around the outlet instead of be confined around the restaurant area. Hopefully the intense wait will die down after the place has been open a little longer. We end up sitting at the outside bar, which had no wait. The staff is super friendly. Check out the cool bathroom sinks. Definitely glad to see something like this open at the outlets!

We're down in Ft. Meyers from Michigan, so we stopped here for a quick bite plus a cold beer. First of all, the service was great with Jessica. The beer selection was great and the beer was cold. However, the bbq pork nachos were terrible. They seemed to put the Mac n cheese "cheese" on it and it was lumpy and it didn't taste very well. Do not get the bbq pork nachos! Otherwise, a nice place to sit down and have a cold one. You have to see the sinks in the bathrooms, pretty neat!

This place is so cool!! The decorations were spot on and it made it a neat experience. I will definitely bring my little boy here one day. I recommend starting off with the onion rings! I suggested we try out Ford's Garage to my husband. We live in Naples and drove up to Miromar Outlets for this purpose. There was a 45 minute wait, to be expected at 2pm on busy Sunday. They will text you so you can shop. We came back, were seated outside, live music playing outside, great exterior. It goes downhill from here. Our server did not explain anything to us about the menu, offer a starter, etc. We ordered pretzels for an app and burgers as they were off the menu. An hour later a man brought the pretzels, apologized and said they were on him. People around us that came in later got their food, while others that had been there longer than us were still waiting. We never complained..yet. 30 minutes later, we left money on the table and started to walk off. The server stopped my husband and gave him the manager's card. I am in the hospitality business as a Concierge; my job is actually referring guests to restaurants. Guess which one I won't be? I know what it is like to be busy in season. I get one day if I am lucky to spend with my husband, so our time together is very valuable, I am sorry it was wasted.

Pretty good and if you are a car person you just have to go to see the bathrooms, the bar and the decor. The food was pretty yummy too and they had a good beer selection. May be tough to find, it's all the way at the far East end of the outlet mall.

Great job

Good beer selection, but skip the over-priced, slow, cold food. Also watch out for contraband- my son had broken plastic all through his burger...

Yum.

They were FABULOUS! I also recommend the Kobe Beef and my husband loved the Black and Blue Burger. We chose the Mac and Cheese as our side and I'm so glad we did! Try this place out!

YUM!

This is a decent place to eat while shopping in the Miramar outlets. I wouldn't recommend going off the beaten path of burgers and pub food. They have a great bottled beer selection and decent draft beer line consisting of some of the larger scale Craft beer distributors. I would like to see some more local beers.

  • Linda K.

It's a restaurant in an outlets mall. Don't expect much, and you'll be fine. Gargantuan portions of passable bar food. Nice beer specials during the day. The bathroom sinks are very cool.

Recommend.
