This place is very close to where I live so I thought I'd give it a try.. I have mixed feelings on it to say the least.. First I will give the positive... The food was very good a lot of flavor. The negatives out weigh the positive though.. First issue - we arrived with a teenager the place only had 2 other people there eating the cook and I think also owner was behind the counter in kitchen yelling using the "F" bomb for everyone to hear this happened a few times the last time the wife or manager kept saying " Shhhh" to quiet him down.. Second issue -- in between him cursing he was singing at the top of his lungs.. I'm all for someone having a good time at work however that had already been ruined with the cursing. Third issue--/It took a good 25 to 30 min for us to get our food even with only three people there and the other person was eating. Fourth issue-- the menu is nice lots of things to choose from however it's overpriced big time average price for a burger or sandwich ( without the add on charge for fries of $3.00) was between $8.00 and $11.00 and then to find out their credit card system does not work so you need to pay cash only. Overall the food was good the price and the overall experience was not a plus at all. If this place fails it will be because of the very unprofessional way it's worked.. I would not recommend this place to anyone that has young children due to the loud yelling of curse words.

Don't do it. No flavor, overpriced. Everyone outside smoking when you pull up. The special I had was pork chops. They were dry. My daughter ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were cut up meatloaf squares. Nasty.

First time going. Drove all the way from Seminole county which was a little under an hour. The food and hospitality were unbelievable! The entire staff welcomes you with open arms and respect the whole time. The 24.99 all you can eat crabs were definitely worth the long drive, I have never been to such a friendly restaurant. Would recommend to anyone.

Who doesn't love a great seafood boil, shrimp, and a scrumptious philly? While visiting our family on the east coast the restaurant was recommended by family for breakfast. We found ourselves around the area for lunch & stopped in. When we walked in we were greeted by Cathy & given the details of the specials (under $7 menu is a plus!) Well rounded menu with good diversity. $10 seafood boil was a must! To add you can have beer for free with a meal of $8. Love the food & local family run atmosphere. Cathy even offered guidance on blue crab cracking skills! Must go place while in edgewater!

Great crabs, Great flavor! Cathy & Mikes is a mid sized American/Seafood restaurant located on the end of a strip plaza. It reminds me of a local Mom & Pop restaurant and Cathy and Mike absolutely provide you with that at-home family feeling. Don't be surprised if Cathy takes a break from cooking and grabs a seat at your table or if Mike stops by to chat and see how you're liking the food. These two are such sweet, personable, accommodating business owners you can't help but fall in love with them. Venue: The venue is mid-sized and can accommodate quite a few guests. They have high-top and low top tables and the seating can be rearranged for larger parties. The inside is very clean and well kept and the bathrooms are very clean and easily accessible. The over head menu boards are easy to read and the menu isn't complicated. Service: Upon arriving the staff greeted us by name, we called ahead so they knew we were coming. They only had 2 servers on staff but they welcomed us and got our drinks started promptly. Mike came by our table and asked us if we were ready for some crabs!? We of course said "Yes!" Food: This location offers a wide variety of food options. From blue crabs, breakfast and burgers to hot dogs, salads and dessert. They have it all. We came for the All-You-Can-Eat blue crabs (their Thru-Sat special). A couple people at our table opted out of crabs and ordered burgers and wings which also looked delicious. The blue crabs were delicious. Cooked well and seasoned very nicely. Mike has his own "special blend" of seasoning and it hits the mark. I prefer heavily seasoned crabs so I asked Mike for some extra seasoning and he brought me a cup right from his workstation. He's amazing!! Mike kept the crabs coming. We never had to wait long before we got another batch. He cooks them fresh each time and they come out piping hot. Nothing I hate more than cold crabs. All of our crabs were either medium or small, mostly medium. After our crab gluttony I wanted something sweet. They make home made brownies and sell them with a scoop ice cream, whip cream and fresh strawberries for $1.95. I obviously couldn't pass that up. It was delish! Overall: Mike, Cathy and their staff are kind, caring and super accommodating for all of their guests. You can tell they really care about what they do. They have an amazing story and are so excited watching their business grow. If you're looking for some tasty food and great service - come here! Mike & Cathy, I'll be back!

Great little find! Huge portions for the price and the food was great. The pancake was HUGE and so soft and fluffy. Probably one of the best I've ever had! Road king omelette was so amazing- I could have shared if I wanted to ;). Personable, friendly staff too. I'll definitely be coming back for the free beer!

OH MY GOD!!!!! Steamed Maryland-Style Crabs- All You Can Eat for $21.99 plus free beer!!!! I WAS IN HEAVEN! I'm from Maryland, but live in California now, (where nobody knows how to steam blue crabs "Maryland-Style") and I was in Florida last week visiting my aunt and cousin in Edgewater. My cousin found Cathy & Mikes place and we walked in around 3:30 in the afternoon just to make a reservation for that night. Mike said the place was booked and he couldn't fit another "All you can eat" person in for dinner that night. We begged and pleaded. We told him I live in California and can't get blue crabs. We grovelled. We cajoled. Blissfully, the heavens opened up and Mike relented- under one condition: only two of us could get the $21.99 All You Can Eat special. The others in our party would have to order the crabs by the pound. Success! We happily left the requested $10.00 per person deposit. We were overjoyed and giddy and came back at 6:00 with my aunt and my cousin's husband. My cousin and I took advantage of the All You Can Eat special. IT WAS A FABULOUS, GLORIOUS FEAST! Mike and Cathy were wonderful, gracious hosts. Mike kept delivering steamed crabs to our table that were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The beer kept flowing and the pounding-of-the-crabs continued for hours. It was fantastic! The place was packed- every table was full with happy customers. My aunt, who's quite the steamed crab-eating veteran, was invited by Mike to walk back to the steamer and see where and how the crabs are cooked. I have to say this was one of the best nights I spent while visiting my family in Edgewater, Florida. The next time I plan to fly back east to visit family again, I'm calling Mike & Cathy and putting in my order for steamed blue crabs before i even leave California!
